Came to Joy Lush Club after a mid town run. Cool mom n pop shop with a Colorado craft beer vibe. I had a couple from local brewery Wren House. Cool seating, cozy vibe. I like it.

Stage area

Came specifically to use my Pub Pass and was extremely disappointed when I was told I could only use it on draft numbers 2,3,5 & 7. Other places with restrictions allow up to a certain dollar amount and then up charge the remainder. The bartender could care less and literally shrugged his shoulders at me because there's nothing he can do about it. More annoyed with the managers rules at this point. WHY even be apart of Pub Pass if you're not going to create an experience to bring the customer back? Outside of all this, the place is cool. Seems pretty chill with shuffleboard and a small stage for performers.

We came in here while waiting for our table for Krazy Cajun. The service was terrific! The bartender was very helpful, and let me sample the orange wine before making my choice. It is so cute inside, they have some couches and different lounge areas, some games, and have TVs inside. They also sell local items and art. They have a huge variety of wine and beer, you can even purchase cans and bottles to go. They offer beer flight which we got. We will definitely be back for a longer stay in the future!

Riesling was delicious

Amazing low-key spot!!! Chance was a great server.. we will definitely be back I was looking forward to unwinding at a great wine bar and this place didn't fall short, very chill vibe, I enjoyed the Riesling and my bestie enjoyed the orange wine. Great service! Go check them out!!!

Price for the beer I ordered on the electronic board said $7 per pint. (Number 3 for me). I was charged $8 per pint. Server blamed it on new guy and when I asked to be charged the price as advertised, said maybe if I order another pint. Later said she texted her boss to ask for authority to allow the $1 credit in favor of the customer. Can't blame the server for this hiccup if the mgmt keeps such a tight reign on a legit discount. Poor mgmt led to poor service?

Lovely amazing place !

Great hidden gem for a social visit with friends or when you just want to get out of the house; or before you head home after work. We were really surprised and pleased with the amount of beer and wine selection here upon entering and after looking around this spot. Plenty of space for the family pooch to hang at this pet friendly establishment too So bring your fur baby along as you sit and sip and forget your troubles. Friendly staff and a good chill vibe thanks to Mike and co.

Love! Love! Love! This place! Great atmosphere, wonderful staff and great beer an wine selection. Hands down my favorite taproom in uptown.

This taproom is a must try in the Uptown area. Located at Central and Camelback, the space is very inviting. They have lots of seating at the bar, at tables, or on couches. They have a variety of wine and beers including a bottle shop. There are also some board games if you're planning to be there for the long haul!

Great selection of quality beer in cans and bottles.

The self-appointed king of speakeasies is back at it with another one. Located in the Melrose part…read moreof Phoenix, I checked out Bar 1912 after having dinner at Valentine (hint, hint: the speakeasy is located inside the restaurant). They have a small parking lot, but it's free and I was able to find a spot on a Friday evening. Ambiance (2.5/5): Speakeasies are known for their sophistication and for their hidden entry. Bar 1912 isn't much of a mystery. There are two entry points. Either a door in the back of the restaurant or a hallway inside the restaurant that's relatively easy to find as there isn't a door or anything in between the restaurant and the speakeasy. Our waiter took us there after our meal. Bar 1912 is nice, but just about average in terms of ambiance compared to other speakeasies. Part of the reason is that it's very loud (seats 30 people or so) and all of the seating at the bar are back-less bar stools (which I personally hate due to my back). I would have preferred to sit on the various couches/sofas next to the bar. Service (4.5/5): Friendly, attentive service. Exactly what you hope for when you're grabbing a drink (especially when they take a little longer to make due to their sophistication). You're provided with water without asking which is always a nice touch. I had to grab the bartender's attention once or twice, but outside of that, a job well done. Food (N/A); Since I had dinner at Valentine prior, I skipped food here. They have a small menu consisting mostly of appetizers (many, but not all, which are offered at Valentine). One option which isn't at Valentine, but which piqued my interest is the Sonoran hot dog. Had I been hungry, it would've been a no brainer. They have four or so desserts on the menu, and I had room for dessert, but none of them seemed appetizing. Drinks (4/5): When I'm at a speakeasy, I look for creativity and an interesting blend of ingredients. You certainly have that here. There's a focus on Native American and Hispanic influences here, which is pretty cool, and fitting since we're in Phoenix and everything. I tried two cocktails, one was a hit and one was a miss. I'm pretty flexible when it comes to cocktails, and I know what I like, so I rarely miss. Unfortunately, it happened here. With that being said, I tried some liqueurs I had never had before which is awesome. And I enjoyed the cocktail menu. This isn't the type of spot you'll find an Espresso Martini...thankfully. With a couple of tweaks, Bar 1912 could be in line with some of my favorite speakeasies in town.

The bar is clean and the surrounding tables and chairs make for a good hangout spot with friends. They do have an extensive menu of drinks to choose from and the bartenders are friendly and efficient. They do offer some desserts and some light bites as well. The restroom is pretty bougie and I'm mad that I didn't get any pics or videos because that has got to be the fanciest toilet I have ever seen in public! Lol You just have to see it for yourself! If you're looking for a casual vibe with a good drink selection, this is a good one to try. Great for a date night, too! Have yourself a ball at Bar 1912!

They really made you feel celebrated with a special occasion. Anyone who stopped by the table had great menu knowledge and gave good insight into the dishes. There is a parking lot next to the restaurant that's nice and convenient. Wine selections are great and the house orange soda is so good. I always appreciate a restaurant that has complimentary sparkling water as well. Food! The tomatoes were a show stopper for sure! Followed by the beignets that were equally flavorful. We then had the rockfish crudo which ate more on the herbaceous side and was super interesting and tasty. The pork skewer has a surprisingly crisp lightness to it and didn't feel heavy at all. Finished off with the apple dessert. Will be back for this menu for sure and excited for to keep returning with every season.

The servers kindly moved us to a table on the far side of the room. That was really helpful. The food was ok. Creative dishes, but they were a bit bland generally speaking. The squash salad is a fabulous idea for a fresh salad that is different - but if they'd added some olive oil & lemon juice and a sprinkle of salt, it would have been great. It was a bit dry and not well dressed. Octopus salad was the same - I really wanted to like it, and I took half home (just because I was full) when I added olive oil and lemon juice and Salt & pepper, it was great. The meatballs were pretty flavorful. It's called a Wine Bar, but there was not a big selection of wines by the glass. Part of what makes a wine bar fun, is having a lot of choices, and perhaps a flight or two. They did have a few unusual wines. But there are so many wine bars (or restaurants with really good wine programs), you're going to have to expand your selection a bit to compete.

The restaurant itself is very cute and clearly designed for photos, which matches what I saw on their Instagram. Service overall was fantastic. The food, however, was just okay. I ordered the burrata and fig plate and was told they'd replace the bread with apple slices. I received five very small slices of apple, and when the plate was set down the waitress said she'd get more if needed. I later noticed I was charged $2 for an additional five slices, which together didn't even amount to half an apple. Ironically, the bread that comes with the dish would have been far more substantial. The burrata was fine, but nothing memorable. My friend ordered the chicken and brussels sprouts and didn't even finish it before having the plate taken away. The flourless almond cake was the star, a bit salty on its own, but with the ice cream and whipped cream it was a delightful combo which were the highlight. Overall, this is a great spot for cocktails, ambiance, and photos, but the food is fairly mediocre compared to the setting.
