Trivia night
Emma N.

I was really surprised by this place! My friends and I were looking for a dinner spot located in the area and this place had lots of food options and great beer on tap that's brewed by North Mountain Brewing Company themselves! We made a reservation but it probably wasn't necessary. It was a Thursday evening around 530 and when we arrived it was pretty slow, but it did pick up, all tables and chairs were full. We eventually learned that it was trivia night, hence the crowd. This place has an entire room full of pinball machines which was really cool, plus a few other arcade style games. Merch and take home canned beer is also available for purchase. Indoor and outdoor seating is available here. The parking lot is around back with a decent amount of parking. I decided to try the Candy Shandy beer which was really refreshing. For food we ordered the lumpia and German pretzel bites for appetizers. Both were good. We also ordered the Thai pizza which they bake in a brick oven. That was also really delicious. We stayed for trivia which was two rounds and took about 2 hours? Our team lost, but it was still fun to participate. I definitely recommend this place and can't wait to come back.

The service is great, servers are kind. However they're shady with beer samples and charge extra to take cinnamon sugar off of sweet potato fries. The atmosphere was nice because they had a musician playing music. But unfortunately I won't be returning, don't recommend if you like to try beer samples before committing to one.

This is not my first time coming to NMT but it is consistently good. I had the pizza last time but this time I had a burger. Both were great. My margarita was good as well. The server was very kind and we had fast service. The arcade area is great and the venue is inviting. If I could offer any criticism at all, I would recommend an ATM and a quarter machine get added for the games.

North mountain is a nondescript place you have to be looking for. Nice selection of brews and open bar. Fun game room in back with pinball machines. The food was good. The steak sandwich was piled with meat and tasty sauce, with jalapeños. Spicy and good. The Asian bowl had a flare that made you want more. The burger was cooked perfectly, juicy with ample sauce, cheese, and jalapenos, complemented with shoestring fries. Lumpia was crisp and served with sweet chile and peanut sauce. Great service by Peter. A fun place to Meet friends to enjoy a brew and bite.

Wow! I think I have a new favorite brewery! The brews, bites, ambiance, and service is amazing! I've been here twice, the first time, my husband and I stopped by with our toddler for a lunch date, but the minute she saw the arcade and pinball machines - we were in trouble. She refused to eat, wouldn't stop crying, and it was one of the worst tantrums we'd experienced. The staff was very kind, completely understanding, and made us feel comfortable vs guilty. We left for everyone's sake but took home pizza, poutine, and lumpia - and it still tasted wonderful when we got home. Round two, we had a flight of beers and additional pours, and I can't even tell you a favorite because my husband and I enjoyed them all! They all have great flavor, not a heavy harsh bite, and very creative flavors. Some of the ones we tried included: Creem Ale, Peachy Keen, Happy Kraut, Old School, etc. Honestly, can't go wrong with any of them. Huge fan, would order all of them again. My husband and I ordered multiple Creem & Old School so that says something? The food, is amazing! It's a mixed menu of American Brewery, traditional Filipino favorites, and a mix in between. The owners and business is family owned and a great story - you can feel the love and care in the brewery location and everything inside. - Poutine: best I've ever had, love the gravy and the meat on top, good portion and distribution ratio. - lumpia: a must - small traditional treat that is such a great starter. - Asian sliders - nice mix up of sliders, not too heavy and Very tasty, should have saved some of the lumpia sauce to add to the sliders (peanut sauce & sweet chili, next time). I already can't wait to go again and know exactly what I want to try. I haven't been excited to revisit a location in a long time and NMB has won my heart and stomach.

I was compelled to visit because I saw that lumpia was on the menu. There were other supposed Filipino food, too, but I was mostly hungry for lumpia. When we arrived, the place had a pleasant breeze blowing in from the cooler weather. The server was nice and funny. In the end, I did not order the lumpia as the poutine sounded fantastic. I'm glad I chose that dish because the gravy had meat in it and tasted fantastic. I also ordered a dirty Shirley and chugged it.

If you are in the North Mountain/ Sunnyslope area and are looking for a place to have some refreshing craft beers and tasty and substantial bar food, this is the place to go. The brewpub is spacious, service is very friendly, price are good. And there is ample parking at the back. Overall a great place for enjoying great beer and food, by yourself or with friends.

This is the best place to eat. it's not just a brewery it is a restaurant. It serves fresh Filipino food. The servers & service is amazing. Come in & have the wings, their wood fire pizzas, burgers, soups, beverages, the best homemade ice tea.Homemade Beignets & other desserts. Not a place for kids. Has an outdoor patio

I haven't been in since pre-pandemic, these folks didn't miss a beat. The beer is on point, ordered dark beers today. All of which were fantastic. The beer tender was super friendly and clearly knew what he is doing. The vibe is pretty chill and they even have an arcade, did not remember that from prepandemic.

Parm garlic fries. Truly disappointing. Mediocre fries with minced garlic dumped on top.
Sora G.

First time here but won't be coming back. Truly mediocre beer (tried 4), fine but nothing special. We got the garlic fries to snack on and I almost sent them back they were undercooked with tons of minced garlic dumped on top. Comes in a big bowl but disappointing to have so much of something I didn't want to eat.

Stopped in here after a round of disc golf and had a late lunch. We ordered lumpia, pizza & a beer. The pizza was delicious & the C.R.E.E.M Golden Ale was the perfect compliment. Bar tender took great care of us & those around us. There is a cool arcade room with 8-9 pinball machines. I gotta come back and play!

Filipino fried rice
Paul S.

This place for me was a will be back... ordered the sour which was good. But the 2 foods were the big hit. We ordered the beer cheese fries and bacon, which was really good. The big hit was the Filipino fried rice, this was so good and filled up 2 people, but I am sure one person could eat it too. Service was great and food was awesome

Loving the flexible quantity flights here!

It looked pretty busy when we got there, and we heard live music would start at 7:00pm. For drinks, the menu says to ask about mocktails - I would prefer that they list it on the menu so that I have more time to decide. I forgot what was in my mocktail other than yuzu, but I enjoyed it. I think my friend's mocktail was blackberry with ginger beer. For food, they are known for their Aftermath Burger, but the Jalapeño Bacon Burger sounded even better. We told our server that we were going to share everything. We didn't ask to split the burger, but I guess he told the kitchen to, so that was a nice surprise. Did not see an up-charge for that either. The burger was SO good - loved the crispy edges of the burger patties. It was so flavorful, and I would definitely go back for it. The crinkle fries were extra crispy. The Rigatoni Alla Vodka was okay, though I wouldn't order it again. Same with the burrata - I was okay with the sliced almonds for some crunch, but the fresh strawberries did not pair well with the burrata for both my friend and me. Overall we had a good dinner with decent service. The live music was great and interactive too - the singer asked questions at a nearby table, then picked a song to sing based on the responses.

Right on Camelback, in a little nook of a building with a book store/coffee shop attached. We entered and were seated immediately. If you read any of my previous reviews, you'll know that my wife loves oysters. Per usual, that where we started. We got the oyster and a bottle of prosecco. A few mimosas to start the day. My friend arrived almost exactly when the oysters and bottle came out. We chatted and perused the menu. We were in no rush as we drank through the first bottle. My wife got the pizza that was on the menu. I forgot what they called it, but it was good. Nice crust, a savory sauce, and just the right amount of cheese. My friend ordered avocado toast I believe or something very similar. She's a psycho path that runs 20 miles every morning so she was ready to take in carbs. She tore through it like a starving cheetah tears through a gazelle. I had an omelette which was pretty good, but nothing that knock me out of my seat. It could have used a bit of seasoning but in all decent. We ordered a second bottle and that is when their DJ began playing music. He played soft jazz which definitely was not the vibe we were looking for. None of the aforementioned mention brought this rating down to a three star review. It was all 4 star worthy accept the service was not great. Far from it actually. Don't worry I still tipped 20% as I feel it's a bare minimum, but he didn't deserve it. As I stated we were seated immediately, but it took our server nearly 15 minutes to even acknowledge us. I didn't know who it would be, but when he finally did all I could think is that he passed our table numerous times prior to stopping. Once he did there was a serious "I do not want to be here" vibe in his body language and tone. My friend who didn't arrive till the oysters and bottle were served missed that initial interaction but immediately noticed it. She an A type and wanted to complain to the manager. I got her to let it go. I know every has there days and this might have been his. Through out our stay here, he rarely checked in on us. As a matter of fact I believe we drank through each bottle before he checked in. This is the sole reason my rating went from a 4 to a 3. I hope the guy was ok, but I wish it could have been something he didn't bring to work with him. No pictures again. Sorry... I really just like to enjoy the moments with the people I am with and forget to take pictures.

We decided on food relatively quickly due to previous experience with the business, however, our waiter never came around to take our orders or even give us water at the table. We saw one girl with dyed hair who unassumingly could have been our waiter since she was in our section but only worked with one particular table and ran to the back after each time, but never addressed our table or came by. We eventually had to flag a different waiter down who was able to help us place the order and service us for the rest of our visit, she also informed us that this other "Waiter" was supposed to help us but she wasn't sure why she never made an attempt to do so after having us wait 20 mins and other tables were being serviced. We ordered Flordian French Toast and Elote Breakfast Burrito (plus a couple sides and drink) which were both really good, and filling.
