They have a little patio too, with a nice view for people watching. Kudos to Tony, Zak, Colton , Jimmy, Charlie, and the whole crew on this. Best experience. Between the warm And welcoming hospitality…read moreto the incredible.. flavorful food to the owner and chef coming to our table to make our visit even more special ... I don't know why this place doesn't have higher reviews. Me and family came on a Wednesday... it started off with bringing toilettes for our hands and a platter of fruits to infuse our water. The attention to detail is unmatched. the aesthetic is wine focused with a bottle on the wall and paintings and pictures with it. It's an open concept so you can see them plating and pulling Food out of the oven. We ordered Cajun shrimp deviled eggs and crab cakes to start. You get 8 deviled eggs. That's a huge portion and the shrimp were jumbo. The crab cake was good but not memorable. A couple ppl ordered lobster Mac, I ordered scallops with mushroom risotto and my cousin ordered the salmon with sweet potato mash. I ordered the scallops with mushroom risotto. I am not a mushroom person, but decided just to leave the dish as is before making modifications and I'm glad I did. I thought the mushrooms were cooked perfectly. They were tender, not overpowering. The risotto was cooked nicely. The scallops were perfect with a nice crust on them. The salmon came with sweet potato mash. The sweet potato mash tasted like a sweet potato pie without the crust. It was so good not overly sweet. I will say that we notice is that the vegetables offered along with all the entrées all came with mushrooms in different variations and I would like more variety on vegetable options. Even with the salmon and sweet potato mash the veggie that came with it was spinach and mushroom mix. If you're not a mushroom lover, you need to inquire if there are any other vegetable options. I thought that the lobster mac & cheese was good but they use penne pasta so I do think that they need to update the name of the dish or change it to a macaroni noodle or maybe even a cavatappi. Since they're not actually using a macaroni noodle. Certain noodles absorb and take on sauces differently. And I don't prefer a penne noodle for a mac & cheese style dish... But the flavor was amazing. There was an abundance of lobster. It was an amazing dish nonetheless that's just a personal preference. We ordered drinks as well, and I got the sangria flight and normally most flights are a smaller portion of the drink so that you can taste multiple flavors. They pretty much give you full-size drinks. Now. I will say if I'm being honest I do wish that was told to me ahead of time because I cannot drink three full glasses of sangria and I may not have ordered it had I known the size, but there was a table of people and so we were able to finish the drinks so that we didn't waste our money. The flavors were good on the sangria except for the white... To me it needed more flavor, but the rosé sangria and the red were absolutely amazing. The owner gave us a complementary slice of biscoff cheesecake with candied pecans on top and it was the most decadent tasty dessert I've had in a while. She came and sat with us. She talked, and she is truly a sweetheart, and has worked really hard. I cannot wait to come back. I had a great experience and the food was truly amazing. This is definitely a must try.

We could not have picked a better place than Fate Brewing - Phoenix for our wedding Welcome Party!…read moreWe reserved the first hour for our rehearsal dinner and speeches with our wedding party, and then transitioned into the Welcome Party with all of our guests. We had around 60 people total, and the space could not have worked better for a group our size. We had both the indoor and outdoor spaces reserved for the entire evening, including the full patio with misters to keep everyone cool, lawn games that were a huge hit with our very competitive group, and indoor booths and long tables. Everyone had plenty of room to sit, mingle, play games, grab a drink, and move between the indoor and outdoor spaces throughout the night. The Fate team was incredible from start to finish. They let us come in ahead of time to tour the space and plan our menu, and when our final guest count ended up being smaller than originally expected, they were extremely flexible with our budget. They gave us options for drink tickets or an open bar tab and allowed us to adjust how much we put toward food, drinks, and snacks so we could create exactly what worked for our group. The food was AMAZING! We had a full taco bar for our rehearsal dinner and a fun pretzel wall for the Welcome Party, and they even allowed us to bring in our own décor and desserts. The staff also went above and beyond with drink recommendations and made sure there were great options for everyone, whether they drank alcohol or not, while also helping accommodate allergies. We were especially impressed by how attentive the staff was throughout the entire night. Managing a group of around 60 people is no small task, but we never felt like we were waiting for anything. They were always one step ahead, checking on our guests, keeping everything flowing, and making sure we could simply enjoy the night. The flexibility, hospitality, and willingness of the entire Fate team to go above and beyond made our night so easy and memorable. It was the absolute perfect way to kick off our wedding weekend, and we cannot recommend Fate Brewing - Phoenix enough for a quick drink or lunch, rehearsal dinner, Welcome Party, or large group event!

My friends and I recently visited Alexi's Grill for a girls' night. We had dined here a couple of…read moreyears ago and enjoyed it enough to return, so this visit was unfortunately disappointing. The food quality seemed noticeably different from our previous visit. One friend ordered the calamari steak, which was very tough and difficult to cut even with a knife. Another friend ordered the duck entrée. Although she had never tried duck before, the flavor seemed off and tasted as though it had been frozen for too long. She ended up eating mostly the vegetables instead. Unfortunately, even the broccoli was undercooked to the point of being somewhat raw rather than simply al dente. I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp. The Alfredo sauce was thinner and more watery than expected, and the shrimp was also quite tough. What was most disappointing was the response when the chef (or possibly owner) stopped by to ask how everything was. My friend politely and respectfully shared her concerns about the duck. Rather than acknowledging the feedback, he responded that people fly in from out of state specifically for the duck entrée and essentially shrugged as if there was nothing more to discuss. There was no apology, no offer to replace the meal, and no attempt to make things right. Every restaurant can have an off night, and not every dish will appeal to every guest (which is understandable). When a guest is dissatisfied however, some effort to address the concern goes a long way. We weren't looking for anything unreasonable--just some acknowledgment of the issue and an effort to ensure we left satisfied. On a positive note, we still enjoyed the ambiance and the drinks. The atmosphere was pleasant and made for a nice evening for catching up with friends who I don't get to see very often. Based on this experience however, the food quality and customer service left much to be desired. Given how much we enjoyed our previous visit, this experience was especially disappointing.
