This is a wonderful Breakfast/Brunch/Lunch sandwich shop!! It is located in an office complex, so parking is a bit wonky, but 100% worth the effort!! The service is fast, friendly and full of smiles. The prices are VERY competitive. I had a regular breakfast with eggs, thick toast, hash browns, sausage, ham AND bacon. Delicious! I also took home a Cubano sandwich. Although I had to reheat it later, it was still among the best Cubano's that I've had!! There is minimal seating, but the outdoor patio is huge and (depending on Phoenix weather) beautiful to have a seat in. You will not go wrong going out of your way to give this place a try!! read more

I was en route to pick up a colleague at PHX and wanted to grab breakfast on the go since we had an important meeting and no time for a sit-down meal. I called in an order for two croissant breakfast sandwiches and a coffee for myself. The order was ready right on time, and what a treat it turned out to be! The croissant sandwich was absolutely delicious, the bacon perfectly crisp, making it feel like a real delicacy. My colleague thoroughly enjoyed it and was grateful for the thoughtful breakfast. The original marketplace is tucked away into a business office plaza. You have to drive towards building 3 to access this restaurant. The food is good, however a bit pricey. I used to eat here more before the prices increased. The owners and staff are very friendly though. I've had both breakfast and lunch options. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. read more

Found the cutest little cafe style place. I will be coming back to get snacks. If you are staying across at the Radisson this great secret spot to get quick sandwiches, grab and go type snacks, cafe snacks. People are are friendly and breakfast and lunch are served all day. Burrito was a good size and they added hash browns in the burrito. It was good! The breakfast pizza is bomb! The RN students at GateWay love the food. Unfortunately, Crystals EXTREMELY, CONTINUED RUDENESS, HAS forced us to seek out another establishment for lunch. Small and Wonderful Cafe The Original Market Place is an absolute gem! The cafe is small but offers nice indoor / outdoor seating options. The staff is wonderful and the food is amazing. Today, we stopped by for breakfast. On this visit we ordered the Breakfast Pitza and the City Breakfast and everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. The airport ambiance aside, this is the breakfast i like to make at home! That is if i had the rosemary in the kitchen. The bacon was thick and crisp. The roasted potatoes were flavorful and plentiful. The eggs sere scrambled. What can i say about them? They were well scrambled! Then you ask about service. Quick, helpful, polite, a very human friendly experience. Not even that expensive, actually a great price (in an airport!?!) really! Im full. Im satisfied. Went in for the first time and was greeted really warmly by the owner! They have great options on what to eat and I decided to go with something light and got the Thai salad. And it was delicious! All the workers there were super nice and the cooks even smiled and said hello. It's definitely a hidden gem and it's really nice and quiet since it's away from all the other business around. They have a pretty cool outside area that's really clean and shady so I'll def be coming back!! This place is a must try! You won't be disappointed!! read more

What a great little gem! Found this place because my hotel had a catastrophe with a water main and had no way of making coffee. This location was .4 miles away so I figured I'd give it a try and I'm glad I did! I ordered a large coffee and a breakfast sandwich. The cliff is Starbucks coffee so if you don't like Starbucks coffee they have a number of other things to order to drink. The breakfast sandwich was just about the best I've had (besides my own). Egg on English muffin with sausage and cheese. Fantastic! Do yourself a favor and try this location out, you won't be sorry you did! read more

Since I had a business meeting in the area my colleagues and I decided to try The Original Marketplace and it wasn't a great experience. Here's why I would not go back again. After ordering my lunch I had to wait a long for my sandwich. I waited so long that I went back up to the counter to ask when it would be ready. Numerous people who had ordered after me already had their food and my colleagues were halfway through theirs. The lady behind the counter was friendly and went back to the kitchen to check. She came back out and said it was coming soon. After waiting a little while longer my food came out. I looked at it and had to immediately send it back. I had asked for no cheese (dairy allergy) and it was covered in cheese. The lady took the sandwich back and grabbed the ticket. She told the kitchen they had put cheese on it when the ticket said no cheese. I sat down and waited even longer for my food. Someone from the kitchen brought out my sandwich and I joined my colleagues. I looked at my sandwich and could tell that they had just scrapped the cheese off the original sandwich. There were still chunks of cheese on the bead and meat. Running short on time I scrapped as much off as I could and ate around it. This was definitely not the type of quality or service I expected from a restaurant with so many positive reviews. read more

This little coffee shop/snack bar delivers more than meets the eye. Everything is fresh fresh fresh, cooked to order and delicious. I'm sure the workers in the surrounding business park appreciate this nicely laid-out spot for lunch, but for we travelers it was a nice surprise for breakfast. Looking for a place for lunch when we found this gem about a mile from where we were staying. I had a turkey panini with pepperoni, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato and olive tapenade on a soft chewy banquette. My significant other had the chicken panini with mozzarella cheese, tomato, spinach, pesto, and balsamic glaze. Both of us remarked they were one of the best paninis we have ever had. Reasonably priced and quick service. The owner spoke with us a few minutes and he was friendly and welcoming. Full Starbucks coffee bar as well. Great place for lunch. read more

I have to give a huge shout out to Dylan and this business. We had ordered from them via Uber Eats for a lunch meeting. 20 mins before we expected the delivery I received an email from Uber Eats that they were unable to deliver - still not sure why but apparently had to do with a driver issue. I called the restaurant to see if the driver had picked it up (in case it was still there I would go over and get it). Turns out Uber had already picked up the order! So Dillon suggested I order directly from his site immediately and he'd have it prepared and deliver it personally. In about a 30 minute turn around, he was delivering our lunch. What great service! Not to mention that it was delicious. We will definitely make this a regular lunch spot, ordering directly from now on of course! read more

Solid place across from the doubletree hotel. Wonderful people and great service. They serve Starbucks coffee for the fiends out there. Came for breakfast and def coming back tomorrow for some more. We booked an upgraded suite with a separate bedroom and TV room, which gave us plenty of space to spread out. While the layout was great, the room itself could use some updates. The bathroom fixtures were older--the Kohler toilet didn't flush well and was a bit noisy, and the tub/shower combo had rounded sides that made it tricky to stand comfortably. The shower water also never got fully hot. The room had a slightly musty smell, and the carpets would benefit from a deep cleaning. The balcony screen door didn't close tightly, which let a few flies in, and access to the second floor required two sets of stairs since there's no elevator in that section. Even with those issues, the resort's location, views, and overall vibe made the stay enjoyable. With some room refreshes and a bit more maintenance attention, this could easily be a standout property. The setting alone is worth experiencing.

I found a great AAdvantage Hotel deal at the Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort and booked it. While it was a great success of a visit in terms of AAdvantage miles and loyalty points, my actual experience at the hotel itself was less to be desired due to the customer service and a big snafu on their part. I also have Hilton Gold status, though as I booked the hotel through a third party site (AAdvantage Hotels), I could see the stay and the stay history in my Hilton app, but I did not receive any benefits for staying there, which was fine as I didn't expect any anyone. I arrived in person to check in and already reserved and prepaid for a King 1 Bedroom Standard Suite, which had a nice view and reasonably spacious room (but not too much larger than a regular room at another hotel). The room was certainly not upgraded though there was parking available right in front of the entrance. I did not receive anything else at check-in nor did it appear that I'd get my regularly complimentary water. I did pay the daily resort charge which includes high speed internet access, access to the Falls Water Village, an hour at the tennis/pickleball court, an hour at the afternoon golf practice facility, two hours for a mountain bike rental, 20% off seasonal spa services, and 15% off select golf apparel. While I didn't use it, I had easy view and access to the Falls Water Village where you could lounge and play all day on their sun-marked terrace where you could find free-form pools, hot tubs, and cabanas. They even have a 138-foot enclosed water slide. When I checked out, I was told that a bill would be sent to me shortly since I did it on the app early, and when I received the bill, there was a charge for my room at the restaurant at the top of the hill called A Different Point of View. The catch is that I never went to eat there during my stay (or at any onsite restaurant since I live in the area and had my meals offsite). I reached out to the hotel who insisted that I did go there to eat. I promised them I didn't eat anywhere onsite and that they need to look at the receipt and see if it actually has my room number. They confirmed it did and that this meant I ate there. I told them to find my name on it and let me know if it was on there. After several more back and forth conversations, they confirmed it wasn't me and would remove the charge. They then mistakenly charged me double. Then they removed one charge, but it took more than a week before they removed the other charge. By the end of the exchanges, it felt like they were blaming me for their own mistake. While the resort is aged and rather pleasant, there certainly are training issues regarding the customer service offered at this property. I do not plan on staying here again in the future.
