Our server was Drake. I ordered the Bird Omelette made with roasted turkey, avocado, and garlic and herb creme fresh; served with fresh melon and pineapple slices and a side of diced potatoes and peppers and a hazelnut cappuccino. Kirk ordered a Border bowl and a coffee. The server was friendly, patient, and accommodating. She seemed to take a genuine interest in us. My meal was culinary perfection. Kirk is going to recreate it at home. If this restaurant was in Florida I would not take it for granted. Delicious!

Warning to all those counting calories, concerns with glucose, diabetic, regulars at the gym next dopr or just those of us who avoid sugars at all costs. BC's 'keep it light' menu is not that light at all. Probably why they don't publish the calories on the menu like most other places. First thing I do before sitting is always ask what the ingredients are of certain foods like Oatmeal, especially when they are listed as containing honey or brown sugar; as advertised on the menu. The hostess didn't know and said she would go ask, perfect. On return I was told the recipe is just oats and water and everything else can be left off. Great! So I ordered the oats with no honey, as listed My first batch was soaked in honey, no problem mistakes happen and my server apologized Second batch was promptly made and delivered, with no honey. only it seems as well as honey, the oats also contains a hidden ingredient; sugar thar is not listed on the menu, in fact it has so much sugar in the oats, it's like eating gritty sand. Why is this listed as 'keep it light'?

Breakfast (Visit was on a weekday in January) - Walked right in and was seated. Ordered drinks along with egg and brunch dishes. Service was nice, food was good as expected. My Monte Cristo was a treat in which I could only handle half - perhaps I was full on their coffee and pieces of my guest's fruit but know that I was satisfied. My guest had benes (can't recall which ones) but her drink complemented the dish. Note: I do feel that brunch places are best enjoyed on a non-holiday weekday without crowds. I look forward to visiting again when in the area.

Food was good. Loved the house potatoes. Our waiter, no urgency what so ever. We were checked in 1 time, our waters weren't re filled during our service until we asked for the check.... He took about 10 minutes to bring the check after asking. He seemed upset throughout our time there but it wasn't busy it was 830 in the morning on Tuesday. There were about 7 tables but 3 or 4 waiters. It was calm environment the time he took did make my child a bit restless.

Blueberry pancakes pictured. This was my second time coming to a BC with the first being at their Old Town location. Enjoyed the vibe there. Camelback location was nice and I arrived around 1 pm. Decided to order the pancakes and they were okay but not mind blowing as if I had the same thing at an upscale Hotel restaurant. I wasn't a fan of the sweet cream and it would have looked nicer with white whipped cream and a little more lemon zest. Should have ordered the whole hog omelet but wanted to try something different. Dining area was clean like their OT location.

I would fly back to Arizona to eat here again. My fruit bowl was sooo fresh with the tastiest yogurt and granola. I wanted to eat 5 of those before I even started on my main course! The chicken frittata was also well put together with what tasted like the freshest ingredients. Adding a little hot sauce set it right off! Then the chai latte was made to perfection as well. Just the right strength and balance of flavors. I would love to go back and try something different each time!

The food here was actually amazing for Arizona standards. One of the best meals in terms of quality. The sweet potato waffle fries was delicious. The steak was actually great. Eggs were running depending if you like that. The sandwich meats were definitely saltier end but otherwise cooked well. The prices were decent $20ish each but main thing is quality was not bad at all. Main complaint came with their organization. We call ahead and confirmed reservation but when we arrived, they didn't put into the system our reservation so we arrived we had no table. Had to wait a long time then squish together tables and made it be outside to make us fit. Then, it started raining and they refused to give us their umbrella saying another table was using it but that was a table with roof coverage which is so crazy to say when it was drizzling turned downpour they did literally nothing to help or even offer to pack our food up. It was funny in the moment but overall terrible service and treatment.

Amazing food. Fun outdoor seating. Great to be here sitting outside with friends in January when it's 18 degrees at home in Missouri. Had the chorizo bene. Great flavor. Just right spice and the pineapple salsa was a good touch. Came with fried potatoes peppers and onions and fresh fruit. Great value for the price too.

Breakfast club has my favorite Bloody Mary, a touch of heat and not vinegary. The Benedict had perfectly poached eggs. Perfect hollandaise. We prefer shaved ham, put still very good and the ham wasn't too thick. The lemon poppy pancakes are good but more like a pancake-shaped bread than a pancake, but my wife loved them. Our server was perfect and sent us on our way with a complimentary coffee to go. Fun and great people-watching space as well.

I just come for the hollandaise at this point. I wonder if I could get a hollandaise on the side I would love to pour it on top of the chicken sandwich. Will keep you updated next time I go and if I try this I'll let you know how it went. Anyway, here's more pictures of our food enjoy! We sure did (:

Favorite breakfast spot! Pictures don't do it justice the food is always so good and it leaves a good flavor in your mouth wanting to come back! It's a bit of a drive but it is one we are willing to make. Service is always very friendly and welcoming. It's a nice place to enjoy some yummy food and Everytime I come I always order too much that I end up needing to go home and nap. Service is never pushy but always friendly.

Rooibos in a French press, with side of cream and honey.

Why do I not come here more often?? Just met 3 friends for breakfast here and the space is fantastic! Inviting, warm, cozy but not cramped. Waitstaff is so friendly and patient as we mulled over the menu. I got a rooibos tea (came in a French press) and cream and honey on the side and overnight oats. Their overnight oats are delicious. Lightly sweetened with honey, the oats had a wonderful texture because of added chia seeds. Topped with slivered almonds, blueberries and cinnamon. Perfect start to the day if you don't want anything too heavy. I ordered the bowl and had enough left over for another meal later today. Will need to come back and try the rest of their menu.

I went with the bang bang burger and kale salad -- a side comes with the lunch sandwiches. I was hesitant on kale but she mentioned it gets great feedback and I am glad I tried it! The kale salad has citrus and other goodies in it (sorry, I forget what!) and the kale wasn't tough at all. The dressing is lightly sweet and refreshing. Definitely recommend! The bang bang burger was delicious and filling without being overly heavy. They also had cans of local beer - Huss Blonde and Papago Orange Blossom - and a couple of speciality cocktails, along with various canned and bottled non-alcoholic drinks and fountain drinks. Its a cute shop with a patio and one side was open to the nice weather. A woman stopped to check in - I think she was the manager - who was really nice. Came here for lunch with a friend on a Saturday, had a good time! (Drinks in photo not from here)…read more I enjoyed my Cast Iron Egg dish, the shallot (or scallion) cream sauce was the secret winner, but I may want to try something new next time. My friend enjoyed the Pork Chili Verde dish. Portions are decent. We sat outside, which at noon in May is a bit warm, but we eventually moved to a shaded table and that was enjoyable. They have lots of fans and misters outside too. I also picked up a strawberry rhubarb and coconut rum cake for my parents. They loved the strawberry rhubarb, but they said the coconut rum cake was a bit strong on the rum (it tastes exactly like Malibu if you like that). Overall had a good time and would go back, staff was friendly despite it being busy.

A friend of mine suggested this spot for a mid-morning breakfast, and I hadn't been here in years…read moreso I agreed. I read that their parking lot fills up quickly but that there's a public lot across the street, so I parked there and crossed over. This cozy restaurant was fairly busy and we perused the pastry case while waiting in line, lots of tempting treats. My friend ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes which are topped with blueberries. A lot of their menu items have pork in it, but they were good about substituting. The burrito usually has schreiners chorizo, hash browns, cheddar, sunny egg and chili oil with side of salsa verde. I asked for avocado instead of the chorizo. We brought our own drinks so didn't order any. We grabbed a table on their patio since the sun wasn't over our heads yet. It's nice out there and I think they have some fans going to keep the air flowing, and there was also a natural breeze. Our food came out and they were plated beautifully. My burrito looked good, but it had too much hashbrowns and also there wasn't any chili oil, which was a bummer. Maybe they normally put it on the chorizo so they forgot to add it to my avocado. The egg was runny which I like: The salsa verde was delicious; I love cilantro and it had great flavors. I tried the pancakes and they were fairly rich but I liked the tart lemon flavor and the blueberries, one of my favorite fruits. This is a nice place to meet up (small groups) and I'm glad I visited again.
