My only reason for giving this restaurant 4 stars is due to the parking situation. There is very limited parking in front of the establishment. We circled around the building a couple of times looking for a place to park. We were finally directed to park in the lot next to the building, which was reserved for another business that operates Monday through Friday. Had our visit not been on a Saturday, I'm not certain what we would have done about parking. Once we walked inside the small, yet quaint, establishment we were kindly greeted and seated. The place was full and bustling, with the sound of good music playing through a speaker and people enjoying their meals and conversation. Our waiter was very accommodating to my needs. I recently got braces on my teeth and needed to have food that did not require a lot of chewing. He recommended a modification to my breakfast food choice, to swap the potatoes for avocado. Unfortunately, I was not able to enjoy the turkey sausage patties. No matter how small I cut the pieces I could not effectively break the pieces down enough. Therefore, my sister enjoyed the patties. After my meal the waiter also provided me a cup of warm water to rinse my mouth. This was to remove any food particles before I put the elastic bands back on my braces. The food was good. Also worth knowing, they don't serve alcohol. I ordered the chicken fried steak with the gravy on the side, and it was really good. The only downside was that about half of it was crust rather than meat, but I'd still order it again and would recommend it. Eggs over hard were cooked well. Once the food was dropped, there wasn't much follow up, which felt more like a staffing issue than anything else. While good, IMO it needed more meat, and less red chili flakes & cayenne pepper. Focus more on the green.. Chicken Fried Steak was very good and the eggs were as well. The sourdough toast was good. Met friends for lunch today. When I drove up, all the parking spots were taken so had to park next door. Got to watch because some of those parking spots were designated and they will tow. It was ok with me but I thought that someone on their lunch break might not be OK with the slow speed. The waiter was personable buy also a little off. My friend had several questions about the menu and her preferences, but after she ordered the waiter commented about getting thru the ordeal or something like that. First time here and meet a few friends for an early breakfast on a Friday morning. It was way busier then I was expecting it to be. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a friendly welcome. Luckily there was an available table when we walked in so we were seated immediately. The place is pretty small so the tables are pretty cramb in there. To get to our table we had to squeeze through a few chairs. Our server greeted us within minutes and took our drink order. When she came back with out drinks she was ready to take our order. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and told to choose our seats. We opted for the back corner. LOL, I knew at that point that they are on it with wiping down tables. The table was clean and clear but the seats were still warm from the previous patrons. It was a cheery, casual, clean environment. The menu had a good variety of items that it took me a while to finally decide on what to order. I opted for the green chile omelette, and was not disappointed! Since they offer loco moco, I knew that they had white rice, so I picked that as my side instead of a potato type. Hey, if you grew up flip, you knew rice goes with anything really. Portions were a good size. My friend got the Irish Breakfast Burrito and was pleased with the product. I was able to taste that, too.
