This place is awesome! If you haven't been to Electric Pickle yet, you're missing out. There is something here for everyone. Sports wise, they have pickleball, bocce ball, and ping pong. There is a full restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating as well as 2 bars. They have a huge screen outside for live sports with a nice sized play area for kids. The staff was great. It was my first time there and they were very welcoming and helpful. We rented a pickleball court and had plenty of seating area for the whole group. You can play as much as you want during your allotted time. I can't wait to come back! A great place to bring the whole family or a place to meet up with friends. Definitely add Electric Pickle to your list!

Electric Pickle definitely lives up to its name. As it offers an aesthetically pleasing environment filled with bright colorful courts, and lots of places for a photo op(that my gf really enjoyed). Plus, with how insanely hot Arizona gets, I really appreciated that they offer both covered and uncovered courts, lots of fans, and water everywhere. Huge plus for that. Now for the not-so-fun part... We had a covered court reserved, but when we showed up, another group was still playing. The staff didn't get them off the court for about 30 minutes, which cut into our two-hour reservation....not great when you're paying for that time. Service was also rough. For the first hour, we literally had no one come by to take our order, and when we finally did get food and drinks in, it took forever for them to arrive. Not to mention the weirdest part? As soon as our reservation ended, they were super quick (and kind of aggressive) about getting us off the court. It's such a shame because the place itself is awesome and has so much potential, but the service just ruined my experience. If they can tighten that up, this could easily be one of the best spots to play and hang in Phoenix.

Ahi poke tacos and lychee martini

Such a trendy place to grab a yummy bite to eat while also getting in a game of pickleball. Unfortunately, I had already eaten so I just got a starter during happy hour, which was $3 off from 3-6 pm (or something like that). The ahi poke tacos were yummy, but only came with 2 for ~$9 with the happy hour discount, so not sure if I would get it again just for the value. Also got the lychee martini, which was so delicious. Their drink menu is extensive, and there is something for everyone! Our waitress was very patient and attentive. As an avid pickleball lover, these courts were very nice. I was heartbroken though to find out that there was only one open play court. Otherwise, your party would have to pay to reserve a court. We tried to play on other courts until staff politely kicked us off, so not a great place to get lots of games in unless you're willing to pay! Overall, it's a great, well-maintained facility and definitely very popular. For playing pickleball, however, I might stick to actual courts to get in more games.

I dropped by for a meal, not to play pickle ball. I was slightly disappointed by the menu changes. Nevertheless, our waitress was fantastic, offering superb service. The food was decent and the mimosas were great. It was nice to watch others playing pickle ball, corn hole, and other games. A cozy seating area, complete with a firepit, provided a pleasant space to sit back, relax, and observe others.

Electric pickle brat. There's a brat in there somewhere

Stopped in for dinner while we were in the area. They have a large drink list but I stuck with a beer tonight. I also ordered the electric pickle brat, but I don't think I'd get it again. The brat was fine, but it was buried under a mound of pickled cabbage, with a thick layer of mustard on a bun that was probably 1/3 longer than the brat itself. The ratios here were all off for me. The brat was not the star of the dish here, it was overpowered by the cabbage and mustard and it came across as dry/overcooked when I dug out the brat. My brother liked the spicy chicken sandwich though! Interior of the restaurant reminds me of 1970's bohemian. Warm colors, textures and flower prints. But tasteful! The ambiance was nicely done. I'll probably go again but try something else.

I've been wanting to check this spot out for a while so my hubby and I came here on a date night. We didn't want to play pickleball because it was still super hot outside but we did enjoy the restaurant ambiance and walked around. The food was just OK but the environment is really fun. I love that they have indoor and outdoor seating as well as Pickleball courts and other fun outdoor games. They even had a live band on the Friday night we visited, which made the ambiance extra vibrant. I will return with my family and friends, especially once it cools down and we can actually sit outdoors.

What a fun place! The patio is AWESOME, along with the service. The heaters were going just barely so it wasn't too warm or chilly. There were TVs with different games on. The patio is dog friendly and a few patrons had their pooches. Like a lot of the other reviews mention, the food is really good. I loved the summer rolls with peanut sauce. I wished they had more chicken since that costs extra, but overall the portion of the dish was good enough for an entree. They had $6 drinks during lunch on Saturday. I would definitely come back.

I come here pretty often for their happy hour, the bbq pizza is amazing, but decided to check them out for brunch! I'd had a reservation for Sunday around 11a, for 5 of us but probably would have been fine without one since they weren't that busy. Taylor was our waitress and was really nice and attentive. I decided to try the Wellness Shot, took one sip and realized just how spicy it was. Taylor was awesome though, and let me switch it out for the Vitality Shot which wasn't as spicy. For food I tried the avocado toast with an egg. It was pretty good, but I probably would try something else next time. My friend got the chilaquiles and said it was delicious ! The vibes are always awesome here, everything is brightly colored and sleek. I've always had a great experience whenever I come here. Definitely check out Electric Pickle if you get the chance!!

I went to EP for takeout one night and truly enjoyed the street tacos and carne asado salad. The service and decor are dynamite. There's lots of indoor seating for our hot summers. Make sure to frequent this fun restaurant!

Electric Pickle in Tempe is such a unique and fun spot! It's an elevated restaurant and bar with pickleball courts, bocce ball, ping pong, and a huge outdoor bar. The grounds are spacious, with both covered and open courts, and everything is beautifully maintained. The restaurant overlooks all the action with indoor dining and outdoor patios, plus cozy fireplaces and fire pits. We sat upstairs, which was fairly quiet and perfect for catching up with friends. Our server, Hammer, was incredibly attentive and made sure we were well taken care of the entire time. I had the Chi Chi (Wheatley Vodka, agave nectar, pineapple, and coconut water blended into a slushie) -- it was phenomenal. It's a bit quieter during the summer heat and on weekends, but gets lively on weekday evenings. Highly recommend this place if you're in town and want a fresh, fun experience with great food, drinks, and games.

    Outdoor regular play courts

This is a fun place to come play pickleball! They have outdoor courts and a restaurant inside the building. The outdoor courts are split up, with the regular courts under a shaded roof and the advanced courts out in the open. They have another bar right by the courts and bathrooms are by the bar. They also have lots of seating between the courts while you're waiting for your turn, and paddle racks to keep track of whose turn is next. I ordered a pizza from the outdoor bar and it was pretty good! I have yet to try food from the actual inside restaurant, but I know they have foods like sushi and pretzel buns on their menu. I like that you can see the sunset when you play in the evening. There is a designated parking lot for Electric Pickle, but it can fill up when it's busy. You'll just have to park in one of the other business's parking lots. Overall, this is a fun place to come play pickleball with your friends!

Celebrated a friend's 70th birthday at Electric Pickle recently. Interesting concept, it's Top Golf but with pickle ball rather than golf. They also have golf and baseball batting cage simulators, aka stuff to do while you consume food and drink. Downstairs is the main restaurant and we were upstairs in the special events area, a beautiful indoor - outdoor space with one golf and one baseball simulator. Food was delicious, included chips and salsa and guacamole, chicken wings, pulled pork sliders on pretzel bun, quesadillas and potstickers. Beer, wine and a full bar was available. I enjoyed a few beers, others commented the drinks were excellent. The servers were very attentive. I look forward to returning and trying out the pickle ball and checking out the happy hour. Fun fact, pickle ball was invented in Bainbridge, Washington. Fun place! Highly recommended!

I wasn't sure what to expect when I came to this place because I knew they had pickleball courts and I wondered if it was going to be more casual and more sports oriented. I was pleasantly surprised! The decor here was comfortable and modern and just had great design. There is a stone wall and fantastic lighting fixtures. I love the big tree in the center of the room! There's a bar downstairs and a bar upstairs. When you were there, check out the gorgeous tiled wall near the restrooms. Outside there is a big patio with tables, an area with hula hoops, cornhole, table tennis, and a stage. There are pickleball courts with shaded shelters, water containers, and big fans. There's also a bar outside with another dining area, and bocce courts. This place has a lot to offer! We had a reservation, although we probably didn't need one at this time of the day, and was seated in the downstairs dining room immediately. Our server was so cheerful and helpful. We ordered: *Fried Electric Pickles *Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice *Crispy Tofu Bowl *Double Smash Burger *Chocolate Brownie with Ice Cream *French Toast Bites Everything was really delicious. Crispy rice was fantastic and my smash burger was amazing---sooooo good. The chocolate brownie was covered with large crystalized salt which was sooo good! This place is good in it's own right--there is no need to be a pickleball player to come here. Don't miss out on it because you aren't!

The cigar selection is also excellent and the employees are very helpful when it comes to helping you choose the right one. They offer monthly locker rentals, have lots of TVs, and usually play great music. My favorite is when they have R & B or jazz vibes. I have come in before when they were playing Green Day or harder rock, which did not quite match the chill atmosphere, but that is a small dent in this great place. They manage the smoke really well so it never feels overly smoky inside. There is also a restaurant next door, which is perfect because you can order food, bring it over, and they give you a pager to let you know when it is ready. Always a great experience here, one of our favorites! They are always playing games and were showing the Olympics this time.

The service was good, but not great, and the food was good, but not worth the money. We tried the Green Chili cornbread, and it was much sweeter than I expected, but it was good. The tacos were small 3" street tacos for $3 to $4. That's basically $1 per bite. I tried the chicken, beef, and carna asada. The chicken and beef had very good flavor with a hint of smoke, but the carna asada was dry and tasteless. I saw the food on the tablets next to us, and most of it looked like fairly small servings, except for a burrito one person had. It was huge, and looked good. The house Margaritas were served in a small rocks glass, and I didn't taste any triple sec, or much tequila either. The lime had a nasty taste to like they were old. For a $7 margarita it sucked, and they called that a special. If money is not a concern then maybe you'll like this place, but I wouldn't call it a good value at all. The flavors were good, but not at the price. They don't even give you free chips and salsa, and I saw the guacamole order next to us and it was a tiny serving for $11.

I barely had time to decide if I wanted fries or to change my mind about life. Slow down. Let me breathe. Then the food came out like it was in a relay race -- piece by piece. One plate here. Ten minutes later, another plate. By the time everything arrived, somebody at the table was done eating. Are we sharing or are we time traveling? Now let's get into the finances. A $30 deposit? Okay, cool -- I actually don't hate that idea. But the automatic 20% gratuity per person? Ohhh okay. So we tipping whether service is good, bad, or spiritually absent? Got it. Because once that 20% is secured, apparently so is the effort. No check-backs. No "How's everything tasting?" Just vibes and a bill. And if you don't like something? Don't expect a redo, a swap, or even a concerned eyebrow raise. You'll get a look, maybe a shrug, and then here's your receipt. Let's talk about the water. Plastic cups. Not filtered. Just straight "hydration but make it questionable." The band? Whew. They need acoustic panels, insulation, something. Because that bass was fighting for its life. It wasn't giving live music -- it was giving "speaker in distress." The food? The fish was salty. The crab legs were salty. If I wanted that much sodium, I'd go lick the ocean. Seasoning is cute. Over-seasoning is aggressive. There's a broken chair sitting in front of a beautiful picture wall like it's part of the aesthetic. Is it décor? Is it a test? Are we supposed to risk it for the photo? Now let me be fair. The BEST things in the whole place? * The one photo room -- beautifully lit. 10/10 for selfies. * And the cute white guy bartender. Yes. You, sir. You were the highlight of the establishment. Other than that? The Lush Café is more "Lush Vibes, Low Effort." It's cute for pictures. It's cute for the aesthetic. But if you're going for service and balanced seasoning... you might leave a little salty too. Would I go back? For photos and eye candy at the bar... maybe. For the food and service? Let's just say I'm not rushing. P.S that free birthday shot
