Service was very attentive. Food was fresh and tasty. The decor is so stinking cute. They just opened and I stumbled across this while out and about. I had a veggie omelet and my co-worker had the traditional eggs Benedict.

I went with an Orange Blossom beer and the Bourbon Trail burger. The burger was good, without overpowering flavors. The burger is really a delivery for the toppings here, which included grilled onions, fried onions and a bourbon aioli. It was good but I'll probably try something else next time because they have so many burgers to choose from. I think they normally have sweet potato tots but had fries at this time and they were also good. Generous portion of fries next to the mountain of a burger. We also tried the cheese curds which were good. They had a little spice to them but I think you can get them without spice. The place was packed for a bit but it's a small hole-in-the-wall kinda place. I'd definitely go back again.

I want to like this place…read more.. Beer selection is awesome, but the burgers leave a lot to be desired. They nuke these to well done on one of those auto burger press cookers. The beef quality sub par: Lack of flavor and weird mealy grind that has some inedible chunks in it. It seems like bargain food service ground beef. I know ingredients cost is out of control especially for beef, but for $17+ a burger I expect to be able to define the cook I want with some type of local beef, a good blend like chuck + brisket, or wagyu. You can head over to Four Peaks, AZ Wilderness, Ghost Ranch, Bad Jimmy's and many other spots nearby and get a far superior burger in the same price range. In fact, I think almost any sports bar nearby probably makes a better burger. If they sorted out their burger game this place would be a 4.5. Brew's, you can do better.

We had bacon dates to start. These were tasty but not quite like we imagined. They were sweet and salty which was great. The blue cheese stuffing didn't quite jump out like we expected. For wine, my wife likes sweet wine. She tried the Riesling first, then the Moscato. Moscato was hands down her winner, it was sweeter. For me, I tried the Murphy Goode red blend and I enjoyed it a lot. Good balance, complexity, and smoothness. For the main course my wife had the Pasta Bolognese. It came with rigatoni noodles. The sauce was nice and thick and coated the noodles really well. It had a big robust flavor but wasn't overpowering. I had the Chicken Saltimbocca. The sauce was a bit on the sweet side for my preference due to what tasted like a bit of balsamic, but I still enjoyed it. The chicken was well cooked and tender. We tried a cannoli for dessert. The thing was huge! Shell was thick and crunchy. Filling was moderately sweet with a subtle brightness to it (like a touch of lemon). Ends were dipped in chopped pistachio.

Both hostess at the front didn't offer a wait list. Instead, we were offered a table in the back outside while everyone else was seated inside. As a Black family, the experience left us feeling unwelcome. I can't say why we were treated this way, but the interaction was extremely disappointing, we chose to dine elsewhere. Update: After my original review, the restaurant reached out to apologize for our experience. We decided to give them another chance, and I'm glad we did. Our return visit was completely different. The service was excellent, and we had the pleasure of meeting the Ashley Cook, General Manager and the owner. They made us feel genuinely welcome. I appreciate that they took our feedback seriously and worked to make things right. Our server Tyler was exceptional.

It has been nine years since my last update and with them celebrating their 10th Anniversary, why not write a new review? The Brickyard Downtown still features the original exposed brick walls, concrete floors, and tin tile ceilings that date back over a century. Talk about sitting in history. This place has tasty food and amazing sips. My friend and I recently popped in here for Ladies Night. We only had sips this time around as our other friend wanted to meet up for cocktails too but I couldn't change our reservations so we had to leave shortly after. I had their Hera (Bayab Rose | Elicser | Grapefruit | Lime | Orgeat | Egg White | Rose Water), $17: It was a delightfully balanced drink with a perfect egg white froth on top. Great sips. Coming back, I was reminded why the first time coming here left me with a great impression. It's still a cozy spot though so I wouldn't recommend coming here with a large party.

The staff was wonderful from beginning to end, and we especially want to recognize Katia. She was incredible throughout the planning process, helped relieve so much of our stress, and made sure everything came together flawlessly. She did an amazing job decorating, and everything was even more beautiful than we imagined. The food was absolutely delicious! We received so many compliments from our guests about how amazing everything tasted, which is something people are still talking about. Staff even accommodated our son (who is 4) and made a small kids burger with fries. We are so grateful to the entire Hidden House team for making our wedding day so special and memorable. If you're looking for a gorgeous venue with an incredible staff, beautiful décor, and amazing food, we wholeheartedly recommend Hidden House. Thank you for giving us the wedding of our dreams! We decided to share a meal tonight so started with their Loaded House Salad, which they split for us. We loved this salad! Their tarragon ranch dressing was perfect with the mixed greens, the grape tomatoes, pepitas, and bacon crumbles...such a good salad! We shared their popular short ribs (they charged $2 for plate share) which were cooked to tender perfection and served over a creamy white bean puree. Delicious for sure! We finished with some of their Black Forest Cake which was the bomb! Tender, moist chocolate cake rounds with the best tasting whip that has vanilla bean in it and then some great cherry jam to set it all off. What a great meal!
