Don't eat here. This place used to be great, not sure what has happened in the last year or so but the menu has changed, and the quality has changed. The one server, Natalie, was great. Very kind and hard working, but she was the only one working in the front. I initially ordered the chicken fried steak but was told 15 minutes after ordering they didn't have it but could do the same with chicken. Wife ordered barbacoa chilaquiles. My order was bland and dry, country gravy was transparent. Wives chilaquiles initially came out as a Skillet with no tortillas. Waters glasses tasted like bleach. We have been wanting to try The Biscuit House out for a while and finally did! Sunday at 11:00 we got right in! As we walked in I noticed how cute it's decorated, farm style! Pretty clean in side, we were seated and order was taken pretty quickly, it did take a little while before we got our food and my sons " burger" was made with cheese even though he asked and double checked that she got just a burger no cheese! Well his came out with cheese " cook didn't look at the no cheese on ticket!" It's about what you'd expect from a place named "the Biscuit House" but they also have lunch items as well. It's a little more pricey than say if you went to Dennys, but the service I think was better than what you get at a Dennys. Their grits were spot on, and my French toast was good as well. The gravy for the Biscuits was a little bland (I prefer a "Bob Evan's" style sausage gravy, but I ate it all the same because it's BISCUITS & GRAVY!! It has the look and feel of an 80's diner, and for going on a Sunday afternoon there really wasn't a wait, so that's always a plus! Our server was attentive and quick with drink refills, so that's always nice and they take debit cards right at the table (I really like that). This is one biscuit smothered in sausage gravy, with 2 eggs any way I chose scrambled, your choice of sausage ,bacon, or ham, I chose sausage, and country potatoes or hashbrowns I chose the country potatoes. The order was out quickly. The biscuit was light and flaky, and the gravy was thick and tasty, loaded with chunks of sausage. The eggs were cooked perfectly. It's hard to get scrambled eggs wrong. The country potatoes were soft and tender, fried with onions and green peppers. They were hiding under 2 large sausage patties. The sausage was seasoned perfectly, not too salty, as some tend to be. We gave this place a shot for the first time today. I will say it was not terrible. It was Saturday morning around 11 and it wasn't too busy, service was a little slower than I would've expected but it was fine. I ordered a vegetarian omelette with sausage added, I did not know the sausage would be an extra 3.50. I had a side of grits and sourdough toast. My food was not terrible. It wasn't anything I would go back for, but it was not terrible like some of the other reviews that I read. I have to say that I was really shocked when I asked if I could have a side of salsa to put on my omelette, and I was told that it would be. 3.50! That was outrageous to me. If that was probably my biggest complaints of the entire visit. My boyfriend had Stellas scramble, and he said that it was OK. Nothing remarkable, but it was OK. He ate it. He also agreed that it's probably not anything that we will go back four. I will say the ambience was wonderful, it's a very cute little place and the people who work there are very pleasant. Our server was Michelle, and I think she checked on us twice while we were there. Which is OK to me because I don't like a server nagging me. But when I did ask her for salsa, she quickly barked at me that it was 3.50. I almost felt like she might've been put out if she had to go get me salsa. It was kind of weird. We used to eat here more frequently but it had gone down hill so we stopped. We came by today to give them another chance and while the server was really nice and we were seated quickly the food was terrible!! The grits were very soupy and spilled all over the plate. The eggs were undercooked while the biscuit was nearly burnt. The portions are a good size but that isn't helpful when the food is not edible. My son even got sausage that was still raw in the middle. While the people who work here really are nice even they can't make up for how bad the food is. After driving by this place many times, my husband and I finally decided to stop in and give it a try. Upon entering, we were greeted and seated right away and got to work on reviewing the menu. I started with orange juice to drink. After reviewing the menu, I decided on two eggs cooked over medium, 2 sausage links, hashbrowns, and, of course, a biscuit. A short time after ordering our food came out. My eggs were cooked perfectly, the sausage links were tasty, and the hashbrowns were hot and crispy. I only had half of the flaky biscuit due to my being gluten sensitive, I didn't want to overdo it, but what I tasted of it it was buttery and flaky. The country decor of the place made it feel homey, and the food matched the friendly service and ambiance. Unfortunately, we are moving out of the area, or I'd say we would be back, but I am sure glad we tried the biscuit house before we moved. Well done! read more

Dad had a pancake which was the size of the plate, there was a strong vanilla flavor which we both noticed, but enjoyed. He also had 2 slices of bacon and 2 scrambled eggs (I'm convinced there was actually 3 eggs there). I would recommend both dishes. My only call out would be I needed to add additional hot sauce from the table because there was "something" missing from the dish. Service was out of this world! read more

I didn't realize the place was under new owner ship. I used to love this place years ago. I won't be back again. I walked in around 12:15 and the place was more than half empty. Two servers saw me waiting to be seated, said nothing. Waited about 5 mins for someone to come seat us although it wasn't busy. I was shocked when I saw my child was given a cheap plastic fork. Why are children given plastic? That's tacky. Along with the different colored straws. The menu didn't say the kids pancake was topped with sprinkles and powdered sugar. I told my waitress this and she simply took it back and dusted it off cause you could still see the sprinkle stains on it. That was uncomfortable not knowing how they handled it in the back. I got the biscuit special. My biscuit was so hard to cut I couldn't even finish the bottom half. A biscuits from Popeyes would have been better quality. The hash browns had no flavor at all just potato and oil. The waitress never came back to check on us after she brought our food. Didn't ask if we needed anything more. Coffee was good to excellent. As you would expect of any place with "biscuit" in the name, the biscuits were good, although some jam or other preserve to complement them would have been appreciated. Terri had the low carb breakfast which she said was good. It was nice to have the option of Turkey Sausage. I did the build your own omelet with country potatoes. The omelet was mediocre at best (swimming in what looked to be water) and the country potatoes were cooked with onion, pepper and some sort of unidentifiable spice- if I had known that, I would have ordered the hash browns. "Country potatoes" are not country potatoes they have jalapeños and Anaheim chiles not crispy or fried just simmered. I was so disappointed by the potatoes. Gravy for biscuits was bland. Biscuit was alright ... This was the first time I've ever experienced bad food at a restaurant. None of it was appealing. I would definitely not return. The hostess had zero personality and just was very stand off ish. We had to ask for coffee refills twice and the waitress never stopped by to see if our food was correct once it was delivered.
