    At Postino's, before dancing

I love this place! The food is delicious and everyone is so nice. The location is perfect for the fun/nightlife atmosphere I always get their bruschetta So good! I'd eat here before going out to dance.

My colleague and I were in town and planning to go to the theater next door, so had an early dinner at Postino East before the show. It was perfectly located within steps of the theater and lots of other neat places. The location is terrific-so many options for night life! We enjoyed patio seating outside which was very comfortable with shade and fans. Our server was attentive and friendly and our food was delicious. I had a chicken salad and he had hummus and pita. It was perfect for a warm day-light and flavorful.

I'm a real fan of Postino's and have visited both the Kierland and East locations. When we're in Gilbert, we usually dine in either the cozy dining room or on their fabulous patio, but tonight we decided to do carry out instead. We ordered two bruschetta boards with Mexican Street Corn, Salmon Pesto, Prosciutto Mascarpone, Brie Apple Fig, Burrata Bacon Arugula, and Mozzarella Tomato Basil, along with a Caprese Panini on ciabatta with chips. Everything was really good. The bruschetta boards are always fun because it's impossible to pick a favorite -- every one tastes better than the last. The ingredients were fresh, the flavors worked really well together, and the portions were great for sharing. The Caprese Panini was flavorful and paired perfectly with the chips. Postino's continues to be one of our go-to spots for an easy, casual meal whether dining in or taking it to go.

I come here once in a while when other people pick the place while headed to Hale Theater. Food has never been outstanding and if you are going to offer French fries as an appetizer please serve them hot. Top issue is please get my table cleaned off in a reasonable amount of time.

I've joined their wine bottle monthly deal so I'm compelled to visit at least monthly. I do love clever schemes to have one return! My wife, daughter and I went to this Postino East location and they did not disappoint. We had a great waiter, Dillon. When I joined the wine club at the Postino Grant in Tucson, they did not give me the wine carrier bag. Dillon made sure their location manager, Jordan come to our table and officially present one, very thoughtful! We ordered some bruschetta and I had the prosciutto and Brie panini with a Caesar salad to enjoy my Malbec wine. We also shared the fries and the brownie with ice cream and a delicious sauce. It too paired well with my Malbec wine! We ate in the large patio and the weather was great! Great food, ambiance and service!

Downtown Gilbert has so many good places to eat. You can't go wrong with Postino! This specific review is for an event hosted at Postino. We had an intimate baby shower for about 30 people at the patio. We had a delicious display of their most popular items. 3 different kinds of paninis (my fave is the Cubano), a few charcuterie boards, chicken and beef kabobs, meatballs, dips and pita, and a their famous bruschetta board. Aqua Panna water bottles were served. For the kids, the picnic board was perfect. The boys loved the pitchers of Bell's Two Hearted IPA. Their wine selection is also great. Great service. Good food. Love this place!

I sat at the bar for an hour watching this gal WORK-- she was going a great job don't get me wrong, but every time she leaned over to talk to the cooks, her hair would be all up in the food. Breathing over the food while her hair grazed every item in front of her. Maybe if you're on the food line you should have your hair ALL THE WAY BACK. Idk I'm not a business owner or anything but as a customer, I won't be eating there.

Postino is one of our favorite brunch spots for a ladies get-together. I love that they have both indoor and outdoor seating, and the patio misters help a lot on hot Arizona days (though you may get the occasional fly if you sit outside-trade off to enjoy the patio). We usually order a few different dishes to share. Our favorites are the boards, sweet potato fries, skewers and salads--everything we've tried has been delicious. Portions are generous, so with six of us ordering, there's always plenty to go around and usually leftovers. The drinks are great too, and their $6 glass specials until 5pm are hard to beat. Our sweet waitress even took a photo of our group before we left, which we appreciated. We'll definitely be back with the ladies!

It was a beautiful day to spend outside on the patio at Postino! For it being a Wednesday at 12PM, it was pretty busy with all the tables around me being full. The service overall was okay; I feel like it could have been a little bit better. It took a while for them to take our order, as well as get the check. Our order consisted of a bruschetta board and a Caesar salad, and it came out fairly quick. Overall, I enjoyed all of the options on the bruschetta board. Philly cheesesteak was a new one, and I personally wouldn't get it again, as it was too rich for me. However, the other 3 were classics. I wish they put more Red Pepper Jam on there. Overall, it was a good experience at Postino!

Came here for lunch before going to the concert hall. We split a board. It came with Brie apple fig, Prosciutto figs mascarpone, smoked salmon pesto, ricotta date pistachios. Everything was delicious, they all had a unique taste. chicken noodle soup lemon zest , good with a different taste. Great location. Lunch wine $6

I have a friend who raves about their location in Scottsdale and size o was here o decoded or check out this one in Gilbert. Place looks great. It has a nice outdoor patio as well as bar seating and indoor dining. We were greeted right away macrame to a table smack dab in the middle of the room with eye site pf the bar which I thought would be great. We chose the bruschetta board with the pick four option to start. Along with some waters while we tried to decide. Our server stated that the servers all help so we may encounter others; cool even better service. Unfortunately that's not what happened. We were completely ignored the rest of our time there. Multiple servers walked by us with not even a liver of eye contact. Our server only showed up at the end after I'd already tracked down someone else trying to get the check. It took another 10 minutes to get our check and a to go box. If I'm rating just the food 5/5 . Service 1/5. I don't think I'd be back here honestly. Not this location anyway. Acknowledge goes a long way. We couldn't even order drinks. Well, unless I got up to grab them from the bar

3.5 rating! The food is a good girls night snack dinner type for those who drink wine, it's more for hanging out with friends! Service was kind !

11/04/2025 I had a friend in town who was craving Postino, and how could I turn down a Postino bruschetta board?? Every time we go together, we always get our own board because I will devour the whole thing! She went with all sweet flavors, and I like a balance between savory and sweet. Got my favorites: -Ricotta, dates, pistachios -Smoked salmon, pesto -Prosciutto, fig, mascarpone -Brie, apple, fig Hits the spot every time with the crunch of the bread and flavor combinations. The mocktails, however, were disappointing. I've had the alcoholic Espresso Martini there when it was first added to the menu, and did not like it. I was hoping the zero proof version would be better since it's just espresso and some flavoring, but my friend could not take a second sip. They use canned espresso, not freshly brewed, so that could be a contributing factor. The waiter was nice and took it off of our bill. I tried the zero proof "The Glow Up" - tequila alternative, cucumber, mint, and ginger beer. Given the ingredients, I was not expecting this to be sour. It was still drinkable, but I wouldn't order it again. I'll just stick with the board and water, or wine when I feel like drinking alcohol. We also had to wait a while to get our waiter's attention to get the check.

But, my wife had fries that I could steal and I appreciate having a salad option. The little side salad had a nice bitterness complemented by the slight sourness of the dressing. The queso was rich without being too heavy, and the mustard added a nice contrast. For my meal, I had the Caesar salad topped with a bistro steak cooked a perfect medium rare. The romaine was crisp, the garlic-anchovy dressing bold, and the garlic croutons and parmesan tied everything together. The steak was tender, flavorful, and elevated the salad. At the table, we also ordered the cheesesteak with Angus beef, roasted peppers and onions, Havarti cheese, and garlic aioli served on a baguette, with sweet potato fries. The sandwich was hearty and satisfying, and the fries were really good The wagyu burger was another standout--topped bacon, Gruyère and smoky blue cheese, caramelized onions, tomato jam, and garlic aioli on a pub bun. The beef and bacon were fabulous and the fries cooked to perfection Jake, our server, was terrific--attentive, friendly, and helped make the whole experience even better. We finished with the butterscotch bread pudding topped with vanilla gelato and caramel sauce, which was the perfect ending--warm, comforting, and just the right amount of sweetness Overall, a great patio dining experience with flavorful dishes, excellent service, and plenty of variety.

The menu online looks promising, and it's very close to our home, so we decided to give it a try. This place is very bright and fresh looking, for lack of a better description. There's a bar, and a really great mural. There's an entire wall of banqettes, and some tables in the second room which is divided only by a half wall. There are some walls which I thought had exposed brick, but later noticed were wall boards. Either way, I love the look. We were seated right away and the nicest server came over. He really seems to love the restaurant and love the food, which is always a plus in my book. The boys each got a beer, and I got the Italian margarita. It was a sweet drink that kind of tasted like an Amaretto Sour, which makes sense since there's Amaretto in it. I liked it. They brought gigantic rolls with butter to the table. I really liked it because most places serve sourdough bread, and I don't really like sourdough bread. These large white rolls were yummy. I wasn't very hungry so I just ordered two meatballs, but I asked if I could have the meat sauce instead of the marinara that it usually comes with. Our server said there would be no problem with that, and there wasn't. Hubby got the spaghetti and meatballs, and son got eggplant parmesan. All of it was delicious and I give kudos for a really yummy meat sauce. For me, the meat sauce can make or break an Italian restaurant. They seem to do a pretty brisk take out business, and there were quite a few people by the time we left. I would love to come back and try the pizza, because pizzas that we saw coming out looked fantastic.

Hidden in the Parking lot space behind Shaq's Chicken spot is a small strip of shops. A book store, smoothie place, and my favorite Clever Koi. Our family has very different tastes when we move from one member to the next. So finding places that we all like gets tricky. Clever Koi makes that easy because we honestly have yet to run into something we don't like. Let's start with our favorite starter. The steamed buns (giggity). The pork belly is hands down phenomenal. An amazing bite that literally makes you want more and more. The lazy fries are just that, again pork belly is included, but that garlic aioli is what drives this dish. The tai salad is obviously classic. The short rib dumplings literally make you close your eyes and just say "Mmmmmm". My middle child is the hardest pallet to please at any restaurant as he only eats certain things, but the Chicken Katsu sandwich here is his second favorite chicken sandwich in all this world. The first time he ate it he spent the whole ride home raving about it. Mind you, we live in San Tan, so not a short ride. The shaking beef is always good. It has this firey kick that brings the heat upfront but does not linger. You cannot forget about the fried rice here. Rice is one of my weaknesses in life second only to pizza. Fried rice ranks right up there with my top favorite ways to eat rice and this ranks right up there with my favorite fried rice places. The main reason we come here is because of the noodles. Ramen, ramen, ramen. When you think of Ramen, I assure you this is what you are thinking of. The broth is oh so savory and reigns in the fresh veggies and proteins to meld them with the noodles for a flavor punch each time you have a mouthful. They have great drinks here as well, or so I've been told by the other adults I come here with. I always just get a sake and Sapporo so... LOL The service is always good here and we somehow always manage to miss the lunch or dinner rush which is awesome. All in all... this is by far my favorite dining spot in downtown Gilbert. Great food, great drinks, great service, great atmosphere, in the middle of a great little square. A must eat for me.

At first I thought I didn't want a burger as I usually make my own at home but was pleasantly surprised at the menu & ambiance. Sarina was our waitress & I asked her if the California Bowl was like a salad with a veggie burger as it doesn't state a beef patty? She said it's like a burger w/o a bun but as a bowl w/the ingredients & TOPPED with a beef patty. Oh, I see... So I asked if I could just have the Basmati Rice but it was a mixture of Basmati & Quinoa so she said she could give me more ingredients of something else like Brussels sprouts or Greens so I asked for more Greens. The ingredients are: griddled Sweet Potatoes, roasted Mushrooms, caramelized Onions, Brussels Sprouts, Quinoa, Avocado slices with a Tamari glaze. It was also topped with Cilantro & Green Onions. I also ordered an Iced Tea. The California Burger Bowl was soooo delicious with such a flavor bomb of textures, sweetness & caramelized, smokey flavors! The crunchiness from the cold greens, warm Brussels Sprouts, soft & sweet Caramelized Onions & Sweet Potatoes, plus the creaminess of the Avocados was such a great medley! I think I need to replicate this at home! Very creative & healthy! My cousin & friend both got burgers, one topped with mushrooms & one with a lettuce wrap sub, Zucchini & Sweet Potato Fries. The seating is very comfortable with the cushioned seats & booths & the restaurant is very bright & airy with lots of windows & high ceilings. If you have to use the restroom, it's located outside & will give you a passcode. Highly recommend this place!

I love a good rooftop and the weather was perfect. While they don't have a parking lot, free parking is available on the street and in the various surface lots and garages in the area. Ambiance (4.5/5): It's tough to beat a rooftop. Here you'll have nice views of downtown Gilbert, including the historic Gilbert water tower (which lights up at night). It's not a huge restaurant/bar, probably 50 seats or so. A good number of tables and then 15 seats or so at the bar. We sat at the bar. There's a pretty nice mural on one end too. Service (4/5): A little slow to start out with and to close out, but overall, friendly. We found one of the last four remaining seats at the bar. If not for that, there would have been a wait. One drink and then we made our way. Overall, about average. Food (N/A): I was on a liquid diet for this visit but they do have a full menu. Drinks (4/5): Interesting craft cocktail list. The first one on the list is a Sotol cocktail. If you've never had Sotol, it's a Mexican spirit. Not tequila and not mezcal, but somewhat similar to mezcal and it does have a bit of a smoky flavor. The Sotol So Good has sotol, butterfly pea, coconut rum, pineapple, lime, and orgeat. It's purple so it makes an impression. It packs a punch too. If you're looking for a cool spot to grab some food and drinks in the heart of downtown Gilbert, when the weather is nice, Sotol is a great choice!

My friends and I had a reservation for Sunday morning but it didn't seem super busy when I arrived. Ollie was our waiter. I ordered the Crème Floret Latte drink which was good, the lavender on top was a nice touch. One of my friends ordered the Grand Torino and it was pretty. Despite it not being very busy, the drinks took a while to come out. I guess there was an issue with the espresso machine? For food I tried the Maeva BEC which was delicious! I would recommend that. Overall a good experience.

It was not too busy - most were sitting on the patio enjoying the nice weather or in line at the coffee counter. I got a table for two right by a window. The interior looks modern chic, and has many windows so a lot of natural light was shining through. A server got my drink order shortly after being seated, then my friend arrived, but the server had disappeared for a while. It wasn't super busy, so I'm not sure what the hold-up was. I got the Matcha Strawberry off of their Signature Drinks menu, which tasted fresh and delicious. My friend started with a slice of Banana Choc Espresso Loaf - I tried a bite and it was dense with good flavor, especially the Valrhona chocolate. For brunch I got the Maeva "BEC" (bacon, egg, & cheese sandwich), and my friend got the Treg's Breakfast (eggs, bacon, and sourdough). The shape of the egg in my sandwich was like a square block and unexpected, but it still tasted good. The egg, cheese, pickled peppers, and chili mayo paired nicely together with the milk bun. My friend enjoyed her food as well. I would come back and try some other menu items and dinner.

Sadly, we've noticed a decline and lack of quality control at the Gilbert location. We went on Memorial Day for an afternoon breakfast. We started by ordering Diet Coke. We were told they had run out. My husband ordered a breakfast burrito and tried to add ranchero sauce-they pulled it from the menu. It was one of our favorites, so that was a bummer. While waiting I noticed a couple dead flies on the windowsill, and this seems to be a pervasive issue. I have noticed it the last several visits. Our table was filthy, including sticky syrup all over. When my french toast came and I unrolled my silverware there was something green stuck on there and consequently also in my napkin. I don't like giving a place I love a review like this, but it's been like this the last few visits. It's getting harder to overlook. My hope is that someone will increase the quality control at the Gilbert location and give it the tlc it needs and deserves.
