    All-American Veggie Burger

Service was quick and friendly. Cute and casual inside and patio seating. The food was all excellent as well, you can tell they use local and quality ingredients. One of the best veggie burgers I have had as well.

Came here on Sunday morning with a friend. I like the decor and environment inside. We started with some frozen lemonade, strawberry smash and Peach Vanilla. Very good start. They actually came with bits of strawberries and a slice of peach. Then I ordered the Zinburger, my friend had a vegetarian burger, and we shared truffle fries. I think the fries were my favorite. The Zinburger was a bit underwhelming. Maybe I set my expectations too high. The meat patty was actually pretty good. I asked for medium with a little pink, and it was exactly that. But the overall package was just ok. The veggie burger looked really good. So, overall, recommend for those who want to hang out with friends, have lunch, or snacks or drinks, watch a game together.

Met up with a girlfriend for dinner on a Saturday night and I have mixed thoughts. I had only been to Zinburger once prior many years ago and wanted to give it another go. I went with the diner burger with a gf bun & fries & also got a frozen cocktail that was delicious! The food overall was pretty good 4/5 but the time it took to get our food and my friends to-go order was ridiculous. The server and manager came over to apologize for the wait many times but it was clear the kitchen was very backed up and they may have had a lack of servers/cooks. I would try another location but would not come back to this particular location as there are many different options available with faster service

Not crowded when we went on a Sunday afternoon and we got seated quickly. Our server came quickly to take our drink order but it took a long time for the drinks to arrive. (People came in after us and got served zucchini bites before our drinks ever arrived. Our food came out in a reasonable time and it was good. I ordered the tuna lettuce bites and they were tasty. You get enough tuna for 4 lettuce wraps. None of the burgers or sandwiches come with fries or side, you need to order that separately ...lame!! Burger was good. Does have a lot of good outdoor seating and even the indoor is very bright. Service is so so. It took forever for someone to take our cars for our bill.

Huge portion of fried pickles not on the menu

Clean and contemporary in downtown Gilbert with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, Zinburger didn't disappoint tonight. My buddy said it was one of his favorite restaurants, and although I met some other friends a long time ago at the Scottsdale location, I can't remember trying the food. We sat at a high top indoors and I was glad I wore jeans because the AC was kickin'. We were seated immediately by a smiling, friendly hostess, but were not even offered water in the first 8 minutes. We placed an order for drinks, an appetizer and three different burgers. It took another 8 minutes to get drinks, so I was pretty thirsty by the time they got to the table. After another 15 minutes all the food came out together. The fried pickles - not on the menu - were over salted. The burgers were plated well, cooked properly and delicious, but a fourth one I ordered to go was very salty. I ordered fries lightly salted and they were lightly salted - much appreciation for the simple things - and I think this might be the key phrase to use here if you're sensitive to salt like me. Our server was attentive, refilled our drinks, and offered desert but we were too full. If you offered a kids size shake, 8oz or less, I would've got one, but 16oz is too big. In a service business, when you have 6 or 7 employees hanging out talking and customers without water for nearly 10 minutes after sitting down, that's room for improvement, a simple training could easily solve that. It's Arizona - offer water immediately. Send the appetizer first and watch the salt! The only other thing I can say is that I saw two GMs on the floor and neither visited our table.

I first experienced this venue during Restaurant Week. The food was so good and the service was great. We came back and had a less-than-stellar experience. My husband loved his Zin burger (manchego cheese, zinfandel braised onion, lettuce & mayo) but my All -American Veggie Burger was lukewarm and my fries were cold. The service was pretty slow on a Sunday night, it had definite understaffed vibes for sure. I will probably be back for the rubbermatch, will update accordingly.

Zinburger now has ALL DAY HAPPY HOUR on Monday and Tuesday! I have been to the Zinburger over in Biltmore, and this location is definitely larger and able to accommodate bigger parties. Everything else is pretty much the same, but consistency is good. I tried the tuna with lettuce cups, and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Speaking from someone who has grown up in Hawaii and has had fish quite often, I will be stealing this idea for my at home poke concoctions. The happiest meal deal with a double smash burger, fries, and a 12 oz beer was the perfect amount for my boyfriend and quite the deal for $16! We went on a tuesday for lunch and the restaurant was about 60% filled and we were seated quickly. Our server was very attentive and we were never without water, drinks, or our next dish.

Came here for lunch and left with full tummies. It's such a bright open atmosphere. They're high top tables and booths and a really large patio with a lot of seating. I love the giant paintings of cows, and the rope lighting fixtures. There's a long bar with TVs if you don't want to miss your sports. They have a burger of the week and a shake of the week, but we ordered off the regular menu. We had the zinburger which has caramelized onions and manchego cheese, and the classic diner Burger with fries. The server told us that the classic diner Burger was a smaller burger, but it is not small - - just smaller in comparison to the other huge burgers. The burgers were really delicious, the fries were just fries. It's a great place to stop for lunch or dinner when you're just craving a burger! I am hoping to get a shake next time because they sound so good!

This was my first time visiting a Zinburger location and it was very tasty! To start, my friend and I got the zucchini fries and spinach & artichoke dip. The dipping sauce for the zucchini fries was ranch-like and paired very good. My favorite touch though was the small dollop of salsa on top of the spinach dip - it's my new favorite! I got the ElDiablo burger smash style and my friend got the Samburger traditional style. They also serve my favorite style of fries which was a fun surprise. So good! The vibe was like a very casual cafe feel. Lighting was perfect and very clean/neat feeling as you walk in. Seating was comfortable. Our Server was very sweet! The only thing that was odd to me was the size of the plates. As you see in the picture, the plates are very small. I had to ask for another one, which made the table even more crowded. I also think it's more on the pricey side and not budget friendly. I will definitely recommend but not a place I will frequent. Great visit all around!

The food at this place isn't bad at all. The atmosphere is also pretty vibey. The issue is the service. We had a party of 8 or 9 for a very special event and our server, while sweet, ignored us almost the whole time. It took us 3 hours, not even lying, from appetizers to getting the bill. On the positive side, the Zucchini Fries were awesome but slightly soggy. The Crispy Buffalo Chicken Sandwich was awesome and the shakes were a yummy way to end a meal. However, none of the food was good enough to wait from 6-9pm. If you value your time, look elsewhere.

Burger of the Month was really good and could taste quality of food! 10/10 and waiter Diego was very nice !

Food was good and honestly you get what you pay for (worth the price) you could tell the food was quality and not frozen and just heated up. Waiter Diego was nice (: never been but would go again. Very busy but a good sign and nice open vibe

The queso was rich without being too heavy, and the mustard added a nice contrast. For my meal, I had the Caesar salad topped with a bistro steak cooked a perfect medium rare. The romaine was crisp, the garlic-anchovy dressing bold, and the garlic croutons and parmesan tied everything together. The steak was tender, flavorful, and elevated the salad. At the table, we also ordered the cheesesteak with Angus beef, roasted peppers and onions, Havarti cheese, and garlic aioli served on a baguette, with sweet potato fries. The sandwich was hearty and satisfying, and the fries were really good The wagyu burger was another standout--topped bacon, Gruyère and smoky blue cheese, caramelized onions, tomato jam, and garlic aioli on a pub bun. The beef and bacon were fabulous and the fries cooked to perfection Jake, our server, was terrific--attentive, friendly, and helped make the whole experience even better. We finished with the butterscotch bread pudding topped with vanilla gelato and caramel sauce, which was the perfect ending--warm, comforting, and just the right amount of sweetness Overall, a great patio dining experience with flavorful dishes, excellent service, and plenty of variety.

The woman was shaking her head and saying to the waitress "this isn't okay to be doing while people are eating", pointing toward our kids. Once I realized this, I immediately called my kids back over and had them sit with us, and I even let her know that if something was bothering her, she could've told us and I would have addressed it right away. The couple chose to ignore us and left shortly after. The manager then came out and reassured us that Lucky Lou's is a family-friendly restaurant and that our kids were absolutely fine. The menu online looks promising, and it's very close to our home, so we decided to give it a try. This place is very bright and fresh looking, for lack of a better description. There's a bar, and a really great mural. There's an entire wall of banqettes, and some tables in the second room which is divided only by a half wall. There are some walls which I thought had exposed brick, but later noticed were wall boards. Either way, I love the look. We were seated right away and the nicest server came over. He really seems to love the restaurant and love the food, which is always a plus in my book. The boys each got a beer, and I got the Italian margarita. It was a sweet drink that kind of tasted like an Amaretto Sour, which makes sense since there's Amaretto in it. I liked it. They brought gigantic rolls with butter to the table. I really liked it because most places serve sourdough bread, and I don't really like sourdough bread. These large white rolls were yummy. I wasn't very hungry so I just ordered two meatballs, but I asked if I could have the meat sauce instead of the marinara that it usually comes with. Our server said there would be no problem with that, and there wasn't. Hubby got the spaghetti and meatballs, and son got eggplant parmesan. All of it was delicious and I give kudos for a really yummy meat sauce. For me, the meat sauce can make or break an Italian restaurant. They seem to do a pretty brisk take out business, and there were quite a few people by the time we left. I would love to come back and try the pizza, because pizzas that we saw coming out looked fantastic.

Always a lot of people there so it makes you want to be there. Restaurant wise they have really basic offerings. Places you can find in Mesa, and Tempe, and Scottsdale. Now.... What truly makes Downtown Gilbert special are the small shops that are hidden away from the "main strip". One of those places is Clever Koi. Hidden in the Parking lot space behind Shaq's Chicken spot is a small strip of shops. A book store, smoothie place, and my favorite Clever Koi. Our family has very different tastes when we move from one member to the next. So finding places that we all like gets tricky. Clever Koi makes that easy because we honestly have yet to run into something we don't like. Let's start with our favorite starter. The steamed buns (giggity). The pork belly is hands down phenomenal. An amazing bite that literally makes you want more and more. The lazy fries are just that, again pork belly is included, but that garlic aioli is what drives this dish. The tai salad is obviously classic. The short rib dumplings literally make you close your eyes and just say "Mmmmmm". My middle child is the hardest pallet to please at any restaurant as he only eats certain things, but the Chicken Katsu sandwich here is his second favorite chicken sandwich in all this world. The first time he ate it he spent the whole ride home raving about it. Mind you, we live in San Tan, so not a short ride. The shaking beef is always good. It has this firey kick that brings the heat upfront but does not linger. You cannot forget about the fried rice here. Rice is one of my weaknesses in life second only to pizza. Fried rice ranks right up there with my top favorite ways to eat rice and this ranks right up there with my favorite fried rice places. The main reason we come here is because of the noodles. Ramen, ramen, ramen. When you think of Ramen, I assure you this is what you are thinking of. The broth is oh so savory and reigns in the fresh veggies and proteins to meld them with the noodles for a flavor punch each time you have a mouthful. They have great drinks here as well, or so I've been told by the other adults I come here with. I always just get a sake and Sapporo so... LOL The service is always good here and we somehow always manage to miss the lunch or dinner rush which is awesome. All in all... this is by far my favorite dining spot in downtown Gilbert. Great food, great drinks, great service, great atmosphere, in the middle of a great little square. A must eat for me.

I highly recommend adding some of the homemade Fresno chile sriracha for a kick! The pork ramen was also very delicious. Be warned it's a lot of pork! My wife preferred it with the green jalapeño sriracha. The drinks were also very unique and delicious! A sideline view for me and riding the line for my wife. Oh and the best part was the dessert Bananas foster hush puppy puffs. These were so unique, seasoned with cinnamon sugar and Chinese 5 spice. It took some getting used to but the more you ate it with the Carmel toffee sauce the more I enjoyed it. All in all I can see why people love this place! It's a 5 star restaurant for a 3 star price! Ambiance (4.5/5): It's tough to beat a rooftop. Here you'll have nice views of downtown Gilbert, including the historic Gilbert water tower (which lights up at night). It's not a huge restaurant/bar, probably 50 seats or so. A good number of tables and then 15 seats or so at the bar. We sat at the bar. There's a pretty nice mural on one end too. Service (4/5): A little slow to start out with and to close out, but overall, friendly. We found one of the last four remaining seats at the bar. If not for that, there would have been a wait. One drink and then we made our way. Overall, about average. Food (N/A): I was on a liquid diet for this visit but they do have a full menu. Drinks (4/5): Interesting craft cocktail list. The first one on the list is a Sotol cocktail. If you've never had Sotol, it's a Mexican spirit. Not tequila and not mezcal, but somewhat similar to mezcal and it does have a bit of a smoky flavor. The Sotol So Good has sotol, butterfly pea, coconut rum, pineapple, lime, and orgeat. It's purple so it makes an impression. It packs a punch too. If you're looking for a cool spot to grab some food and drinks in the heart of downtown Gilbert, when the weather is nice, Sotol is a great choice!

Visited Sotol Modern Cocktail Kitchen while in Gilbert. The atmosphere was modern and open, and the…read moreservice started off a bit off-putting, though it improved slightly as the visit went on. I've been wanting to check this place out for a while. Right from the start, the elevator was out of order, which wasn't ideal. When we got inside, the place was mostly empty -- only a couple of other guests -- yet we were told to sit anywhere except along a section of tables by the wall. I pointed out a table at the far end, well away from the entrance, but was directed instead to what felt like the least desirable table, with the reasoning being they might need the space for a large party. After a bit of back-and-forth, they eventually let us sit where we preferred, but it made for a poor first impression -- especially considering the restaurant never filled up. Tried a few cocktails -- they were well made and enjoyable, definitely the highlight of the visit. Overall, good drinks but the initial experience left a sour note -- may or may not return. Saluti.

It was not too busy - most were sitting on the patio enjoying the nice weather or in line at the coffee counter. I got a table for two right by a window. The interior looks modern chic, and has many windows so a lot of natural light was shining through. A server got my drink order shortly after being seated, then my friend arrived, but the server had disappeared for a while. It wasn't super busy, so I'm not sure what the hold-up was. I got the Matcha Strawberry off of their Signature Drinks menu, which tasted fresh and delicious. My friend started with a slice of Banana Choc Espresso Loaf - I tried a bite and it was dense with good flavor, especially the Valrhona chocolate. For brunch I got the Maeva "BEC" (bacon, egg, & cheese sandwich), and my friend got the Treg's Breakfast (eggs, bacon, and sourdough). The shape of the egg in my sandwich was like a square block and unexpected, but it still tasted good. The egg, cheese, pickled peppers, and chili mayo paired nicely together with the milk bun. My friend enjoyed her food as well. I would come back and try some other menu items and dinner.
