    Dirty table
    Kelley K.

We've been going to Snooze since before they existed in Arizona. We started going in San Diego and were thrilled when they opened in the Valley. Sadly, we've noticed a decline and lack of quality control at the Gilbert location. We went on Memorial Day for an afternoon breakfast. We started by ordering Diet Coke. We were told they had run out. My husband ordered a breakfast burrito and tried to add ranchero sauce-they pulled it from the menu. It was one of our favorites, so that was a bummer. While waiting I noticed a couple dead flies on the windowsill, and this seems to be a pervasive issue. I have noticed it the last several visits. Our table was filthy, including sticky syrup all over. When my french toast came and I unrolled my silverware there was something green stuck on there and consequently also in my napkin. I don't like giving a place I love a review like this, but it's been like this the last few visits. It's getting harder to overlook. My hope is that someone will increase the quality control at the Gilbert location and give it the tlc it needs and deserves.

The first thing you notice is the delicious aromas as you walk in the door. Then you'll notice the fun funky decor. We went for breakfast early on Saturday and had no wait. I went with the almond croissant pancake of the week. A light fluffy pancake with sweet almond cream topped with toasted almonds. My brother opted for the pancake flight, choosing the banana bliss, upside down pineapple, and strawberry. We shared a side of the house special bacon. The servers were attentive without being intrusive and allowed our morning to take a nice, slow pace.

Dog friendly indoor/outdoor spot. Rejuvenate Juice was amazing! Our server was incredibly patient and took the time to explain everything in detail, which really put my husband (who has celiac) at ease. Almost the entire menu can be made gluten-free--only two items couldn't--which is such a huge plus. I had the Bravocado toast with a side of the "bacon but different," and my husband ordered the Spuds Bowl along with the cinnamon bacon pancake--everything was SO good. Great food, great service, and a super accommodating experience. We'll definitely be back!

Pancake of the week. Cinnamon, pecan yummy goodness.

Another wonderful visit to Snooze! Our server, Tammy, remembered us and welcomed us with the warmest greeting. She provided excellent service and thoughtful recommendations throughout our meal. It's always refreshing to visit a restaurant that offers genuine human connection along with consistently great food. Experiences like this keep us coming back!

We went to breakfast here before hitting the road. Overall, a pretty good spot. They have ample seating, both indoor and outdoor, which was nice. Service was quick and although I'm not a breakfast person, the food wasn't bad. My bf got their special pancake of the month, he liked it a lot, it was a little too sweet for my liking. I had the biscuits and gravy which werent bad. They also had a good array of alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks so could be a good brunch spot with friends.

Celebrated a family member's birthday here this morning, and it was a great experience! I thought we might need to join the waitlist ahead of time, but there was no wait--we were seated right away. The restaurant was quiet, clean, and welcoming. Our server was so kind and patient while we figured out what to order. The menu has tons of pancake options, and the kids even went for the adult plates. (I forgot you can actually order just one pancake instead of a full plate--good to know for next time!) The Monday-Thursday breakfast deals were a perfect portion. The server even helped put a candle in one of the pancakes so we could sing "Happy Birthday!". Tip: definitely ask for your hash browns extra crispy--you won't regret it!

By far one of my favorite places for Brunch! This Gem is Tucked away in Downtown Gilbert. I come here often with my friends to catch up & enjoy wonderful food. The inside is very modern and colorful. I love sitting inside. I have also opted to sit on the patio when we have beautiful weather, that was a great experience as well. The service is always very good. The food is always delicious. &The menu has something for everyone! I love that there are so many options & they have seasonal items that are different than your average breakfast spot! I personally love their Benedicts. They have an option to try 2 different recipes, which is a nice touch is you're like me and have trouble choosing between one or the other.

We came from San Diego to go to a couple Padres games in Peoria. We are staying at family/friends in Queen Creek. Two of us decided to go walk Downtown Gilbert and we came across this restaurant, SNOOZE. This place was fun! Fireplace out front on the boulevard, indoor & outdoor dining and great food! We had the best Service anyone could ask for! Thank you Tonya/Tainya (spell check) for the best service anyone could ask for! You made our morning a great one! Jerry Lulu & Mike..

Visited snooze this past weekend and was very happy with my experience. Snooze has always been our go to breakfast spot. We usually always get the same thing every time but they just recently revamped their menu which forced us to try something new. This time I tried their benny duo which had both the smashed avocado benny and the habanero pork belly benny. It was SO GOOD! Definitely not my usual but glad I got to try something new. Our server was soooo sweet and very attentive. She made sure we were happy with our food and drinks and even surprised us with a flight of pancakes at the end! Nothing to complain about at all. All in all, I've always experienced a great time at snooze and it will always be my favorite go to breakfast spot.

Food was pretty good; service (seating, wait staff, coffee, food, etc.) Was pretty good also. We sat outside for breakfast on Tuesday morning and the flies were pretty bad, so bad it was hard to enjoy breakfast on a nice morning outside. Bella, Bella Benedict was good, but the prosciutto was kinda gristle and tough to cut but otherwise everything else was tasty. I had the shrimp and grits and our waiter cautioned me that the chorizo was kinda spicy, which made me look forward to it even more. Unfortunately, the chorizo was not spicy at all and the shrimp did not have much seasoning flavor but the grits were good and I finished it all! They have a great location, plenty of free parking around the back and a very nice menu so I'll probably return to try some of their other items.

Went here on a Thursday morning to celebrate a family member's birthday. We checked the online waitlist ahead of time, and there was no wait around 8:00am. The waitress was very friendly attentive, and patient, and she added a candle to the half order of Pumpkin Pancakes that we ordered (did not charge us for the pancake either). Since it was a weekday, they had their Weekday Eats specials starting at $10. I got the Two Egg Classic, which is a smaller portion than the Snooze Classic ($11). That allowed me to save my stomach to enjoy more pancakes! The Cinnamon Roll Pancakes were fantastic. I also really liked the Strawberry Shortcake Pancakes. All of them were so fluffy and flavorful. Everyone enjoyed the food and had a great time!

I have never been disappointed here at snooze. Always 5 stars with great service. Normally I get their sweet potato bowl which is great but the habanero breakfast fried rice will be my go to order for now on! I also got their lavender latte which was great. The patio area is beautiful to eat outside on a good day.

    Birthday girls breakfast!

But, my wife had fries that I could steal and I appreciate having a salad option. The little side salad had a nice bitterness complemented by the slight sourness of the dressing. The meat was flavorful and sliced perfectly while the bread was toasty enough to stay together long enough to hold in all that juiciness. The queso was rich without being too heavy, and the mustard added a nice contrast. For my meal, I had the Caesar salad topped with a bistro steak cooked a perfect medium rare. The romaine was crisp, the garlic-anchovy dressing bold, and the garlic croutons and parmesan tied everything together. The steak was tender, flavorful, and elevated the salad. At the table, we also ordered the cheesesteak with Angus beef, roasted peppers and onions, Havarti cheese, and garlic aioli served on a baguette, with sweet potato fries. The sandwich was hearty and satisfying, and the fries were really good The wagyu burger was another standout--topped bacon, Gruyère and smoky blue cheese, caramelized onions, tomato jam, and garlic aioli on a pub bun. The beef and bacon were fabulous and the fries cooked to perfection Jake, our server, was terrific--attentive, friendly, and helped make the whole experience even better. We finished with the butterscotch bread pudding topped with vanilla gelato and caramel sauce, which was the perfect ending--warm, comforting, and just the right amount of sweetness Overall, a great patio dining experience with flavorful dishes, excellent service, and plenty of variety.

I love a good rooftop and the weather was perfect. While they don't have a parking lot, free parking is available on the street and in the various surface lots and garages in the area. Ambiance (4.5/5): It's tough to beat a rooftop. Here you'll have nice views of downtown Gilbert, including the historic Gilbert water tower (which lights up at night). It's not a huge restaurant/bar, probably 50 seats or so. A good number of tables and then 15 seats or so at the bar. We sat at the bar. There's a pretty nice mural on one end too. Service (4/5): A little slow to start out with and to close out, but overall, friendly. We found one of the last four remaining seats at the bar. If not for that, there would have been a wait. One drink and then we made our way. Overall, about average. Food (N/A): I was on a liquid diet for this visit but they do have a full menu. Drinks (4/5): Interesting craft cocktail list. The first one on the list is a Sotol cocktail. If you've never had Sotol, it's a Mexican spirit. Not tequila and not mezcal, but somewhat similar to mezcal and it does have a bit of a smoky flavor. The Sotol So Good has sotol, butterfly pea, coconut rum, pineapple, lime, and orgeat. It's purple so it makes an impression. It packs a punch too. It was all of our first time there and I just love how adorable the ambience was! They all seemed to enjoy their food too. But let me tell you about the staff, everyone was so incredibly kind to us, hospitality was top-notch. I couldn't believe how much they went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. On the way out, they were so gracious and offered to take some birthday pictures in front of their adorable bookshelf backdrop. Thank you Maeva for such a memorable birthday brunch!

My friends and I had a reservation for Sunday morning but it didn't seem super busy when I arrived. Ollie was our waiter. I ordered the Crème Floret Latte drink which was good, the lavender on top was a nice touch. One of my friends ordered the Grand Torino and it was pretty. Despite it not being very busy, the drinks took a while to come out. I guess there was an issue with the espresso machine? For food I tried the Maeva BEC which was delicious! I would recommend that. Overall a good experience.

Who doesn't love Postino? I know I do! It had been awhile…read moresince we had visited one of the locations. I personally love the cute downtown area in Gilbert where this location can be found. We went on a Sunday, and the crowd was definitely lively. I was bummed that we were too late for the $6 glasses of wine, but it didn't stop me from getting a glass! The server was very nice and honest on giving me some recommendations. For food we decided to get the Brussel sprout salad (they split it for us) and the grilled cheese appetizer which was big! For dessert we tried their new dot cake which I didn't care for... it's not their fault though . I learned I just don't like dot cakes anywhere - it's just one of those viral fads that look great, but taste meh. I would always recommend Postino since it's always a vibe with consistent food.

Our server was truly amazing and super friendly. She took the time to help my friend find a wine she liked and checked up on us constantly. The food was alright. Nothing about it stood out that would have me coming back again. A one and done place for me! Fun to experience and a good time, but I really don't have a desire to go back and try anything else from their menu.
