The food here is always really good. Today was no different. I ordered the California Scramble off the seasonal menu. My son had the hatch chili green pork burrito. I also tried the blueberry muffin as well. It was moist and delicious! It was a bit slower than usual because it was pretty packed but my man Tomas, came through and took our order The light music in the background was perfect! If you are looking for a comfort homey place to eat, I highly recommend this spot!

We stopped here for breakfast and it didn't disappoint. We had the Birria bowl and the cinnamon pancakes. They were amazing. The staff was friendly and fast. The place is small and cozy, but it was a nice vibe.

Really cozy, neighborhood brunch spot. Service was very relaxed and fun, like with them letting you decide where you wanted to sit and making plenty of jokes. Food was pretty good, though not a huge standout from what you might get from other similar brunch spots.

Came here on a rainy day on a Saturday and we got seated right away. The service and staff were fast as it wasn't busy. The food came out hot and was good. Me and my husband both finished our food and were served a good portion. A good place to check out if you don't want to go to a big restaurant type of place. They serve lunch as well.

4/12/25: Short version - it was most definitely not the worst place we have eaten, but it most definitely could have been better. Longer version - The strawberry lemonade tasted like Kool-Aid, with a strawberry or two tossed in; the hazelnut banana crepe had too much Nutella on it for such a thin crepe, plus the crepe was thin, which means it had some crispy parts. Crepes are not supposed to be crispy. My sister's tropical French toast was described as having "cream cheese & mango stuffed..." Neither of us tasted much of the cream cheese, it was more some ooey, gooey, sugary knock-off that did not taste well at all. Usually we are pretty good about eating our leftovers, but I notice the other half of this remains in the fridge ... will likely make it into our compost bin. There was no sign upon walking in (do we wait to be seated or seat ourselves?) so we just walked in & sat. There were a few tables that needed desperate bussing, the decor was decent. It's not a large place, chairs were uncomfortable, but there is plenty of parking. Our server, Perla, was fairly quick so kudos to her, and to the chefs for getting everything made so quickly. But despite this, still probably won't have a return visit, not with so many other superb options for crepes.

Local AM / lunch eatery. I let the server know I was in a bit of a hurry. I was served promptly and provided my check early. In and out with a full belly in approx. 30 minutes! I had the skillet with green chili. Eggs were cooked to perfection, green chili was flavorful with a hint of heat. Recommend supporting this local mom and pop shop.

Chorizo omelette with hash browns.

A friend suggested we meet here for breakfast. It's always fun to try new places. The place was crowded which is usually a good sign. Service was ok, we had to remind them of our coffee refills a couple times, but the staff was friendly about it. The food was pretty good. I ordered the chorizo omelette which was packed with flavor. The hash brown was cooked really well, but a tad on the small side. I would eat here again if I were in the area.

Second time visitor here food was awesome. Service was excellent. I had it and Ken had a corned beef hash skillet. Everything was delicious. Great flavor. It's a cool little mom and pop. Give it a try. You'll love it.

This was our first stop for brekkie after dropping off mom at the airport. Sis and I are not morning people, so we needed some sustenance to wake us up and get us back on the road for the drive home. I am forced to leave a star because Yelp won't let you slide without one. However, this place needs to readjust their hours. We pulled up slightly after their advertised opening time of 6:30 am. The lights were on, but the door was locked. The lights behind the door to the kitchen were on, so clearly, employees were inside. Can't give a full rating since we did not get to experience the food at this supposedly Yelp-worthy restaurant. All I know is that we were starving and left after waiting about 20 minutes, and they STILL had not opened when we drove off. Not cool, and I would suggest maybe coming at 8 am because maybe at that time they would finally unlock the door?! Who knows? Go ahead and chance it if you dare. Good luck!

My friend and I visited on a Sunday around 9:30am, and we were seated within 5 minutes after wiping down a table. We didn't realize how small the seating area was, so we will keep that in mind for the future as we wanted to linger more but didn't want to hold up a table. This location is more a grab and go quickly type of breakfast location. The food was served very quickly, though the coffee refills were a little too spread out for my liking/consumption. I definitely like 2-3 cups of coffee while dining for breakfast to put a pep in my step. The Veggie Skillet was priced at $13, and pretty comparable to other skillets at other locations. I enjoyed the freshness of the veggies, and I did enjoy a side of hollandaise for $2 to spruce it up. I do wish they had a Spinach Benedict as that would have been what I opted for. All of their Benedicts had meat, so there wasn't a good meatless option to choose from. Overall, the food was tasty and decently priced for a breakfast location. When in the area and wanting a quick dine in and go breakfast, I can see myself returning.

We got the southwest cornbread Benedict.. but we substituted the bacon for carnitas.. when I tell you it was AMAZING!!

We absolutely love coming here, it's our favorite family brunch spot. Fast and friendly service, and the food is always freaking delicious! You don't need to be fancy, it's just good vibes!

Food. Service were just right. It felt like a midwestern diner. Nothing flashy. Just good food and fast service.

Parking 5/5 Always a challenge but coming early and doing the circle dance landed us a nice space across from the Liberty Market. Atmosphere 5/5 Such a cool restaurant with allot of history dating back to 1935/1958/2008/2022 which reflects the years of the establishments service and architecture evolutions. Always a great vibe here! Service 10/5 Our experience tonight began with the beautiful and friendly hostess Bailey. She greeted us with a warm smile and asked us what our seating presence was. We grabbed a booth overlooking Page street and the foot traffic outside. Our server tonight was Treven who joined us table side. He had our drink and starters in quickly. My wife ordered the Lucky Penny Latte and I had iced tea. Starter was their out of this world Burrata. The photos fall short of its glory. Entrees was their memorable minestrone soup, and I ordered their sesame ginger noodle salad featuring sweet potato glass noodles which are delicious and a host of smartly paired vegetables, chicken and a pleasant ginger sriracha delivering some spice and heat without overpowering the dish itself. For desert we fell way off the wagon with their in-house carrot cake. A slice easily feeds four and we enjoyed ours with espressos. Dinner was excellent from the service to the scratch kitchen food, and expressos, Magnifico! $125.00 with tip and leftovers too. Date night my friends-SYOY!

We started with large French fries served with two smallish containers ketchup and chipotle sauce. Fries good but could have a bit hotter and served with insufficient amount of sauces. 3. I'd come back just for a bowl @ $17. 5. Hubs and I shared the wood fired pepperoni pizza. This may have been one of the worst pizzas I've had in recent years. Floppy, scant cheese and sauce. Shriveled basil and tiny pepperonis. Even worse, the bottom was black. Just awful. 1. Our waitress and other servers were all friendly. Nice vibe, clean and gender inclusive restrooms clean and tidy. We might come back for dinner one day and try other dishes. (I'd still get the soup). Super convenient given the Hale theater's close proximity. Well def come back for coffee and dessert! ~EG Eats

A bunch of us from my spin class decided to get together on a Sunday for brunch and here's what I munched: Grande Chicken TInga Nachos ($18 - Shredded chicken tinga, queso, roasted tomato salsa, black beans, pico de gallo, roasted jalapeño, cilantro lime crema): Okay, maybe I don't recommend the nachos. While topped with a good amount of cheese on top, once congealed, any chip on the bottom that you pull out is just going to be a naked chip. They do top these chips off with a generous amount of toppings. Brunch Burger ($19 - Angus beef patty, sunny side egg, avocado, applewood smoked bacon, cheddar, sriracha aioli, hash brown patty, brioche bun, choice of fresh fruit or breakfast potatoes): I shared this burger and requested the kitchen to cut it for me which they did. Very thankful that they were okay with the request. The burger itself was decent. It was a little weird to eat as the tiny hash brown patty made the structural integrity funny but it's not a deal breaker. I will say that it needed more sauce or something. The burger was dry after a few bites. I also had my lunch with the most savory and spicy Bloody Mary. It was amazing and probably one of my favorite Bloody Marys in a long while. We came in with our family and three kids and sat on the patio since we were a larger group. After eating, our kids were sitting in chairs near our table, chatting and moving around a bit. They weren't being loud or disruptive, but a nearby a couple clearly seemed upset. The woman was shaking her head and saying to the waitress "this isn't okay to be doing while people are eating", pointing toward our kids. Once I realized this, I immediately called my kids back over and had them sit with us, and I even let her know that if something was bothering her, she could've told us and I would have addressed it right away. The couple chose to ignore us and left shortly after. The manager then came out and reassured us that Lucky Lou's is a family-friendly restaurant and that our kids were absolutely fine. That meant a lot to us and really showed how supportive and understanding the staff is. I also hope one day that couple realizes how hard it is to keep a 4-, 6-, and 8-year-old sitting at a table for more than 30 minutes without shoving an iPad in front of them. On top of that, the service was excellent, the atmosphere was welcoming, and I honestly had the best burger and tater tots of my life.
