We've heard and known about this little cafe forever and finally took the plunge to try it. Located at the Chandler Airport, it took a second to figure out the parking and entrance. You have to go through a security gate which is unlocked and you walk along the pathway to the cafe. We were told to sit wherever we wanted when we came in and chose a table by the window. You really couldn't see plans coming in and taking off from where we sat but cool concept. No children, all older folks (we arrived on a Thursday morning around 9ish) and there is seating in and outside. I don't remember our server's name but she was perky, friendly, and helpful and offered up the cinnamon roll suggestion saying they were the best and something they are known for. Ok...it was good and a tad different than your traditional cinnamon roll with a thicker cake-like batter. I had the hash and eggs, nothing special (typical canned hash) and I wish I had requested it crispy because it needed more crisp to it. Eggs over medium and they were cooked to perfection. I asked for sourdough toast and had to chuckle at the perfect circle of melted butter right in the center of both pieces. So much for crust-to-crust! Wife had the chicken fried steak, apparently another well-know and favorite dish. It was good, if you like thick sausage gravy. The meat was tender and she asked for the chunky potatoes, which were seasoned well and cooked to a tender finish. Overall nothing to yell about. It was a good, decent breakfast and what really made it fun was reading all of the great signs posted around the restaurant. Breakfast for two was $40.

Had a great breakfast here with my sister last Saturday. We had a few hours to spare while her car got serviced at Toyota so we decided to come here. We got dropped off at the front and we entered through the gate. We made it past the outside dining area and the main entrance was on the front side facing the small planes. Once inside, we were quickly greeted and told to pick a table. We chose to sit inside as the outside was busy and it was already too hot. We sat down and like two seconds later our server came over, introduced herself, took our drink orders, and dropped of the menus. I ordered the steak and eggs with cubed potatoes and my sister ordered the French toast breakfast. Our food was made super fast and it came out not long after we ordered. Everything was hot and flavorful. The steak was really good as it was cooked well and tasted really good. The french toast were delicious and they were thick and fluffy. Service was GREAT and our server was attentive and nice. We had such a great experience!

Seasoned Ground beef with three eggs, sliced tomatoes, sliced avocado, and hash browns. The beef and eggs have a great flavor.

We enjoyed our breakfast at the Hanger Cafe today. We were seated right away and had a wonderful server. Everything was flavorful and made to order.

We ordered the all American, a Mediterranean sandwich and kids menu and it was all super fresh and delicious. Definitely felt like an old school diner and the cool part was seeing the private jets coming and going, with the kids, definitely was quiet the experience :)

We came here on a Monday morning and it wasn't too busy. It's a nice location being next to the airport so you can watch the planes. You can eat inside or outside. Cute decor. Our server, Shannon, was very nice, friendly and upbeat. She gave us some good recommendations. She mentioned that their cinnamon rolls were just coming out of the oven so of course we ordered one as an appetizer. My husband is a little fussy about cinnamon rolls and he thought it was pretty good and he would order it again. I think it was the favorite item that we tasted. Between the 3 of us, we ordered: Chicken fried steak - my brother said it good. Greek Omelet - Nicely cook omelet. The gyro meet was ok. Potatoes were delicious. Pancake breakfast - Pancakes were good (not great) and pretty large, eggs nicely cooked and sausage patty was good with a slight "kick." All in all, it's a solid place to stop if you're in the area.

So cute and yummy. Such a sweet atmosphere and people are great. Love going to watch the planes. Would recommend outside or window view. Get the Hangar works or the airport burrito

Definitely recommend this place if you are looking for something unique. The food and service are both great.

Perfect greasy spoon, which is exactly what I was looking for. You feel like you are walking into flow's diner. I went with the biscuits and gravy, which was two full biscuits and a perfect gravy with just a little bit of kick.. Being that it was the weekend, it was packed and there was a sign-in sheet to get seated. Who would've known this little hidden gem perfect for families or just a quick breakfast at the counter for one was even here?! Service was great as this is clearly a well seasoned staff. No pun intended. Get up on the second deck just to see what's happening on the tarmac at the small municipal airport before getting seated or after.

Came here with friends for brunch, and found out they don't have brunch, just breakfast or lunch. Since it was after 11am, only lunch. I really wanted an omelette. Well, on Saturdays they serve breakfast till 12, and Sunday is all day breakfast. I'll have to come back. I did not know this place existed. Very cool place. You are literally in the airport. When you are following your GPS and it tells you to go straight but the sign says Dead end, just keep going straight and you'll find it. Very low key. We ordered salads, sandwich, soup, mushroom burger. Not epic but good enough. I mainly just like the location. You can get take out and sit outside on the second floor and watch the planes take off and land.

    Sandy B.

Always a good place to start your day. You can sit outside and watch planes, and sometimes helicopters, take off and land while you dine. It's cafe styled home cooking. Think of your mom being your short order cook. Breakfast until sometime around 11. It's not a hard and fast time. But once they switch to lunch, there's not going back to breakfast. Lots of good options for both, so no worries. When the owner comes in, he speaks to everyone. Checks in on each employee. I like that. Then he helps out. Makes for what appears to be a good work environment so we can enjoy our meal.

We got morning bun and banana bread and they were so good, not too sweet, the morning bun was so flaky and good amount of cinnamon, my husband didn't like banana at all but he turned out really liked the banana bread. I tried their pistachio cold foam latte with half sweet, and it was so good, the cold foam was light and airy, the syrup didn't overpower the taste of coffee. I usually don't drink sweet coffee, just like original hot latte, but I love pistachio so had to tried this, and it was really good. My husband got the hot latte and it was even better. They have for here cups which is something I've noticed not a lot of coffee shops around the area carry anymore so that was awesome. The Moroccan latte was a HIT. Everyone was obsessed with this one, we also added pistachio cold foam on top. For the Moroccan we asked for it to be half sweet and it was still pretty sweet so be aware that this one is for the sweet tooth. The pistachio latte was delicious as well. The lemon poppy seed matcha was really good as a matcha, meaning the matcha was delcious and easy to ddrink. Not a lot of lemon flavor in it tho but the quality was good so no complaints. Their pastry selection is lacking however, this might be because we came a little later in the day but there was not a lot of options. The lemon scone was delicous but the raspberry key lime cupcake was far too sweet. However, this was an awesome shop and I would highly recommend it.

My friend and I both ordered mediums with 75% sweetness, and it was the perfect drink for a hot, humid summer morning. Sweet enough to feel like a treat without being over the top. We also ordered matching bagel sandwiches. I do wish they offered a turkey bacon option, but the sandwiches were still hot, fresh, and delicious. The real star was the mayo aioli. I could probably put that on just about anything. The vibes are wonderful too. It's cozy, welcoming, and the kind of coffee shop where you want to linger with a friend for a while. My only critique is the layout of the front room. There always seems to be a line, but there's not really a good place for it to go besides in front of the entrance and the water station. It turns into a lot of "excuse me" and people weaving around each other. It's definitely a good problem to have because they're clearly popular, but I hope as they continue to flourish, they're able to expand into a larger space or rethink the flow a bit. Either way, I'll absolutely be back. Just save me another coconut brown sugar latte.

They offer complimentary wifi, a shelf of mission-branded merchandise and a menu of herbal teas and unique coffee drinks. Also a small assortment of pastry items. In addition to the regular entrance, they have a huge garage door access so on nicer days they can open up the seating area for fresh air and more of an outside but inside vibe. Staff were friendly barista hippie types but took a while for them to acknowledge us standing there even though there was no line. Ordered one hot tea and a seasonal coffee drink. Neither were great and their pricing is misleading. For example the seasonal drink was supposed to be $5.89 but was charged $7.65 and the tea was nothing more than a basic tealeaves in hot water. We didn't add any items to justify the upcharge but when I brought it to the cashiers attention she was unsure how to adjust the price or offer a refund unless we wanted loose change. SMH. If a Customer pays by Apple pay, they should be refunded or credited in the same way. Seems like a space intended for Co-working or digital nomad types as there were about 4 people with laptops and headphones sipping on drinks. Because of the ultra cool vibe, I'll definitely give them another chance to change my mind if I'm nearby but I think for what we ordered it wasn't a great price to value.

The truffle fries - do not skip it! The beet salad with the salmon is just YUM - fresh, light and leaves you satisfied that you haven't cheated on your diet but still had a good meal! The pizza, if you come here and do not have pizza, you're doing yourself injustice, lol.. we tried the Farmers Market and it was out of this world for sure..! Now here is where i messed up a bit, i ordered the chocolate dessert, coz am a chocolate lover, but, i should have gone for the cheesecake given its their speciality.. the chocolate cake is amazing, but its dense in a sort of way that you can't finish it there, ..its more of a "sitting on your fav couch and watching a movie with icecream and the chocolate cake. given its flourless, its reallly realllly dense, AMAZING no doubt, but DENSE!! So suit yourself on what dessert you'd want to actually have at the restaurant vs taking back home. Now here is also where I got confused with the menu, there are some items which are for lunch-dinner vs brunch, sides also vary. So if you're the kinds who wants a good burger or short rib, vs something you'd get at brunch - just got for dinner here, as the sides vary too, you wont get Mac and cheese for lunch or brunch as a side..so watch out for that before "walking in" like we did!

My review went up on 5/21 and by the very next day, 5/22, a regional manager named Jayson responded publicly as the business owner, and left his email. I emailed him that same day, and after I followed up on 5/27 he wrote back, copied the store manager, and asked me to send my phone number and a good time so we could talk it through directly. I did exactly that, same day. That was 5/27. It is now 6/9 and I have not heard a word back. No email, no call, no text. The original incident was 5/10, so we are at 30 days now. This wasn't a stray hair - that's relatively benign and sometimes happens in food prep, not great but harmless. This was a different category of foreign body in food: fragments that looked like they came off equipment, which means whatever produced them is presumably still in use, still capable of doing it again to the next person. This is what made the unresponsiveness frustrating. It's not about my daughter's one açaí bowl, it's about whether the thing that caused it ever got looked at. A simple "we looked at it, can't determine yet what happened, but we'll update you" would have been fine, but I got boilerplate "you deserve better" corporate slop. I didn't want my ego stroked, I wanted them to look into something serious. They are great at moving fast in public: their Yelp! reply was up within a day, right under my review, where everyone can see it. But the private follow-up, the part nobody else is watching, has now gone three weeks radio silent, after they were the ones who asked for my number, but never used it. Fast when it's visible, and crickets when it's not, tells you where the attention really goes. If you're reading this and trying to decide, take a little time with the reviews here, the detailed ones and the thin ones, the recent and the older, and decide for yourselves if there is a pattern or not. I'm done with them, they lost my trust. For the record, their açaí bowls when they don't contain bits of industrial machinery are pretty good, but we'll go to Swami's when we are in Oceanside and will try to find something else in the valley.
