We've heard and known about this little cafe forever and finally took the plunge to try it. Located at the Chandler Airport, it took a second to figure out the parking and entrance. You have to go through a security gate which is unlocked and you walk along the pathway to the cafe. We were told to sit wherever we wanted when we came in and chose a table by the window. You really couldn't see plans coming in and taking off from where we sat but cool concept. No children, all older folks (we arrived on a Thursday morning around 9ish) and there is seating in and outside. I don't remember our server's name but she was perky, friendly, and helpful and offered up the cinnamon roll suggestion saying they were the best and something they are known for. Ok...it was good and a tad different than your traditional cinnamon roll with a thicker cake-like batter. I had the hash and eggs, nothing special (typical canned hash) and I wish I had requested it crispy because it needed more crisp to it. Eggs over medium and they were cooked to perfection. I asked for sourdough toast and had to chuckle at the perfect circle of melted butter right in the center of both pieces. So much for crust-to-crust! Wife had the chicken fried steak, apparently another well-know and favorite dish. It was good, if you like thick sausage gravy. The meat was tender and she asked for the chunky potatoes, which were seasoned well and cooked to a tender finish. Overall nothing to yell about. It was a good, decent breakfast and what really made it fun was reading all of the great signs posted around the restaurant. Breakfast for two was $40.

If you're looking for a spot that feels like it's hidden away but clearly isn't a secret to the locals, let me tell you about the little restaurant tucked right by the Chandler Airport. We stopped in on a Wednesday around 1 PM expecting it to be quiet... and instead found the place happily buzzing with families, pilots, airport staff, and pilots. First thing you notice? The people. The servers have clearly been there for years, and it shows. They greet regulars by name, remember orders, and make everyone feel like they belong there. That kind of service is rare these days and it sets the tone right away. The space itself is cozy but surprisingly roomy. There's a classic countertop (which I absolutely love), plenty of seating, and even outdoor tables for those beautiful Arizona days when you want sunshine and a side of airplane watching. Being right at the airport adds a fun little bonus -- you can catch planes taking off while you eat. Now let's talk about the food -- because wow. The menu is classic American comfort with a Mediterranean twist, and everything tastes fresh, made-to-order, and high quality. I ordered the mushroom burger, which was perfectly cooked and loaded with flavor. One of my sons went classic with a hamburger topped with bacon -- simple, juicy, and exactly what a great burger should be. My other son ordered the chicken shawarma sandwich, and that one might have stolen the show. Tender, flavorful chicken wrapped up and -- great touch -- stuffed with fries inside. He absolutely loved it. The portions were generous, the prices were very reasonable, and every bite tasted like it was made with care. It's the kind of place where the food is excellent, the service is even better, and the atmosphere just makes you want to linger a little longer. Great food. Friendly people. Cozy vibe. Airplanes taking off in the background. Honestly? Amazing. If you're near Chandler Airport, this spot is absolutely worth the stop.

Had a great breakfast here with my sister last Saturday. We had a few hours to spare while her car got serviced at Toyota so we decided to come here. We got dropped off at the front and we entered through the gate. We made it past the outside dining area and the main entrance was on the front side facing the small planes. Once inside, we were quickly greeted and told to pick a table. We chose to sit inside as the outside was busy and it was already too hot. We sat down and like two seconds later our server came over, introduced herself, took our drink orders, and dropped of the menus. I ordered the steak and eggs with cubed potatoes and my sister ordered the French toast breakfast. Our food was made super fast and it came out not long after we ordered. Everything was hot and flavorful. The steak was really good as it was cooked well and tasted really good. The french toast were delicious and they were thick and fluffy. Service was GREAT and our server was attentive and nice. We had such a great experience!

Seasoned Ground beef with three eggs, sliced tomatoes, sliced avocado, and hash browns. The beef and eggs have a great flavor.

We enjoyed our breakfast at the Hanger Cafe today. We were seated right away and had a wonderful server. Everything was flavorful and made to order.

We ordered the all American, a Mediterranean sandwich and kids menu and it was all super fresh and delicious. Definitely felt like an old school diner and the cool part was seeing the private jets coming and going, with the kids, definitely was quiet the experience :)

We came here on a Monday morning and it wasn't too busy. It's a nice location being next to the airport so you can watch the planes. You can eat inside or outside. Cute decor. Our server, Shannon, was very nice, friendly and upbeat. She gave us some good recommendations. She mentioned that their cinnamon rolls were just coming out of the oven so of course we ordered one as an appetizer. My husband is a little fussy about cinnamon rolls and he thought it was pretty good and he would order it again. I think it was the favorite item that we tasted. Between the 3 of us, we ordered: Chicken fried steak - my brother said it good. Greek Omelet - Nicely cook omelet. The gyro meet was ok. Potatoes were delicious. Pancake breakfast - Pancakes were good (not great) and pretty large, eggs nicely cooked and sausage patty was good with a slight "kick." All in all, it's a solid place to stop if you're in the area.

So cute and yummy. Such a sweet atmosphere and people are great. Love going to watch the planes. Would recommend outside or window view. Get the Hangar works or the airport burrito

Definitely recommend this place if you are looking for something unique. The food and service are both great.

Perfect greasy spoon, which is exactly what I was looking for. You feel like you are walking into flow's diner. I went with the biscuits and gravy, which was two full biscuits and a perfect gravy with just a little bit of kick.. Being that it was the weekend, it was packed and there was a sign-in sheet to get seated. Who would've known this little hidden gem perfect for families or just a quick breakfast at the counter for one was even here?! Service was great as this is clearly a well seasoned staff. No pun intended. Get up on the second deck just to see what's happening on the tarmac at the small municipal airport before getting seated or after.

Came here with friends for brunch, and found out they don't have brunch, just breakfast or lunch. Since it was after 11am, only lunch. I really wanted an omelette. Well, on Saturdays they serve breakfast till 12, and Sunday is all day breakfast. I'll have to come back. I did not know this place existed. Very cool place. You are literally in the airport. When you are following your GPS and it tells you to go straight but the sign says Dead end, just keep going straight and you'll find it. Very low key. We ordered salads, sandwich, soup, mushroom burger. Not epic but good enough. I mainly just like the location. You can get take out and sit outside on the second floor and watch the planes take off and land.

A local cafe with a local diner feel. This is my second time visiting this nostalgic eatery in the Chandler municipal airport. On Sat March 16th, around noon, this place had 85% of the seats occupied. Airport staff, visitors, children and small plane enthusiasts made up the diverse mix of patrons. The aroma of freshly cooked burgers filled the air as we were seated at a table. I don't have fond memories of the food from my last visit but the Philly Steak sandwich I had on this visit will be fondly remembered! The thinly sliced rib eye, grilled onions and peppers were phenomenal on the toasted french roll! The expertly grilled vegetables elevated this entree for me. I was excited about trying the in house made potato salad but was disappointed due to its mushness and being served chilled would have enhanced its appeal. Basic was the side salad for $5.00 but I felt I should get more vegetables! ;) For me there were hIghs and lows but the philly steak stole the show!

Overrated, small and cramped. Also overpriced for mediocre food. So many better options in the area.

My husband and I enjoy kicking off our Sunday close to the opening hour at 7am. We eat a delicious breakfast option inside first. My husband orders a breakfast sandwich while I don't just like but LOVE the avacado toast. If available, we take our coffee and sit outside on the patio. The coffee is full bodied and delicious. My husband is a hot mocha guy. They have ice water at the front and in their spacious backyard seating area. It is a dog friendly destination. We enjoy seeing the wide variety of furry regulars. There are free treats for them. The service is consistently friendly and on top of their game. They really know how to move a line but you never feel rushed. They offer a points/ reward program for purchases which is always nice. When I asked my husband about cost he said it is so good he didn't even look! I checked our transaction history. For both of us including tip it was around $44- very decent in this day and age for such high quality. What a gem in Downtown Chandler!

My friend and I both ordered mediums with 75% sweetness, and it was the perfect drink for a hot, humid summer morning. Sweet enough to feel like a treat without being over the top. We also ordered matching bagel sandwiches. I do wish they offered a turkey bacon option, but the sandwiches were still hot, fresh, and delicious. The real star was the mayo aioli. I could probably put that on just about anything. The vibes are wonderful too. It's cozy, welcoming, and the kind of coffee shop where you want to linger with a friend for a while. My only critique is the layout of the front room. There always seems to be a line, but there's not really a good place for it to go besides in front of the entrance and the water station. It turns into a lot of "excuse me" and people weaving around each other. It's definitely a good problem to have because they're clearly popular, but I hope as they continue to flourish, they're able to expand into a larger space or rethink the flow a bit. Either way, I'll absolutely be back. Just save me another coconut brown sugar latte.

Egg coffee was good as well (darker roast flavor), which comes with brûléed egg foam. Staff is so friendly! As a big matcha + tea combo fan, I knew I had to try their Jasmine Matcha Cloud and it was really great. The cloud was foamy and earthy, which paired great with the floral notes of the jasmine milk tea. Surprisingly, the milk didn't overpower the drink and the flavor of both matcha and jasmine came through well! Not too sweet either, but I did opt for 50% sweet this time. I did get the popcorn chicken to go and boy that was a treat. Perfectly crispy and seasoned well. The drinks and food all came out pretty fast, and I was the only one there that afternoon. The staff member was very sweet and gave some great suggestions-- I actually think the Jasmine Matcha Cloud drink was not currently on the menu but she so graciously made it for me anyways!
