Saturday morning for breakfast. People waiting as we arrived. Greeting at the door and efficient check-in system. Waited 30 minutes to be seated. Didnt feel like that long. Clean area and quick table turnaround. Greeted by waiter and drink order taken. Food served hot and delicious! Food was tasty and hit the spot! Service was excellent! We were offered a to go drink. Such a great experience. Definitely recommend. Check out was friendly and they really wanted to provide a lasting impression for all guests. Will be going back!

All First Watch locations deliver consistent quality, but I decided to finally leave a review on their seasonal item: shrimp and grits. I appreciated that it was not especially cheesy. Additionally, the shrimp was cooked perfectly and had a delicious deep seafood flavor (almost like crab boil.) The bell peppers and tomatoes added the perfect amount of acidity, and the sausages weren't too salty and overbearing. And the bread is perfectly toasted-- crispy yet still chewy. Overall a great dish! The drinks are also quite good at this location. I always get the cold brew, but their regular hot coffee is great as well. We also got asked to try the new watermelon drink and it was very good. I go to this location a lot, the service always rocks. Always quick, pleasant, and attentive. There is usually a wait because senior citizens mob this place.

Snuck in right before they closed for the day. Everything was quick and tasty. Can't wait to come back.

Got up early, craving Avocado Toast, so I came here after looking at the website. It was just as good and tasty as it looked online! Ian was my waiter and he was outstanding! I explained that I couldn't have anything citrus due to allergies and he was so kind and understanding! He checked on me and made sure I had everything I needed and my food was just how I liked it, plus gave me the BEST blackberry iced tea and even set me up with one to go when I was ready to go! SUPER service, and even for being as busy as the restaurant was, the ambiance was just right. It was not loud. It was very enjoyable! This was my second time dining here, this time by myself, and the first time was with my aunt and uncle when they were visiting in March from Los Angeles. They loved this place as well and thanked me for the suggestion and recommendation to meet me here for breakfast! I will definitely come back and try the lunch menu!

Great brunch spot! The Eggs Benedict had a generous amount of hollandaise sauce and tasted great. Despite it being a busy Saturday, we only had to wait 15 minutes for a table. Service was prompt! Their rotating seasonal menu looked delicious, and they boasted about their juices, juiced daily. Inside was clean, lots of seating, and 5 or so individual bathrooms. Plenty of parking too!

It may take you a minute to take it all in but it's fun and comfortable here. The place was bustling with patrons and the waiting list was growing with some waiting outside. Overall I would give this place a 3/5 stars. Huevos rancheros- disappointed it wasn't the traditional salsa bandera (onion, tomato, Jalepeno) but it was good. Different twist with the rib with eggs. The chips were soggy when I got my food. I liked the red onions, it added a little kick to the food on top of what the food offers to begin with. 6/10 Eggs over medium- not too runny how I like it. Velvety, the eggs weren't burnt crispy and was delightful. Meat was umami, savory and tender. Different than what I expected, had a little kick of spice. Beans were dry and bland. Not very impressed. 3/10 Pancakes were okay. A little dry for my taste but they were fluffy. The syrup with it was tasty. 5/10. I enjoyed this restaurant but I think it was a bit pricey for everything we ordered.

Today, May 16th at VI on Signal Butte - rough start by a waitress who told both of us "I need to know your pie order. NOW." Resturant was not busy. Not at all. It was 4:15 maybe. Slow on a SUNDAY post-winter visitor rush on a late Spring day. Rushed. I pointed to my 3-6pm dinner choice of TURKEY. I showed her. "Just as it comes. She repeated it back to me as she typed in into her handheld computer. Chicken fried steak arrived. And a sausage looking oval patty shape of stuffing. Two long finger prints in it. I wondered if she picked up my loose stuffing as it's normally served here in America, or rather the chef did this to all who request it. I told my husband to look for spit in his food. My hubby? Nicest guy ever. But when he knows I didn't want and could not manage fried beef..but I had fasted 21 hours. I needed sliced fresh high protein meat. Wait another 15 min or eat the mess on my plate? Just 2 minutes from the ALB airport, this spot hits exactly how you need it to hit when you're either coming off a flight or heading into one: easy, classic, no-frills comfort. I went with the corned beef hash + pancakes breakfast, and it delivered that old-school diner energy. The hash was hearty and filling, eggs cooked just right, and the pancakes? Soft, golden, and exactly what you expect--nothing fancy, just solid. But let's be clear... the real reason you come here is the pie. Village Inn doesn't play about their pies, and the banana cream pie is the headline act. Light, creamy, not overly sweet, topped with whipped cream and just enough texture to make every bite feel intentional. For under $20 a pie, it feels like one of those rare "still worth it" moments in today's food scene. Yes--it's a chain. But this location in Albuquerque shows up like it understands the assignment: quick service, consistent quality, and that nostalgic diner comfort that doesn't try too hard.
