This wasn't a pleasant experience. I had checked in online at 10:23am, was quoted a max wait of 55 minutes, got to the physical location and checked in at 10:57am. The seating hostess asked, "Patio is okay?" I answered, "Yes, that is fine. We don't mind." And at this time, there was NO ONE seated outside, so she said it would be about 10-15 minutes. I said that was fine and went to wait with my family. About 10 minutes later my app said that we had been checked in and our new wait time was 0-5 minutes. It was not. We waited until 11:31am to be seated, and were seated INSIDE? No one was outside. We figured there must not be anyone available to work patio. We ordered our drinks and food right away as we had time to think about it during our wait, and knew what we wanted. Our food came out, but we didn't have silverware or our drinks (Morning Meditation and Blazing Dragon). My husband had to get up, go to the bar, and ask for silverware. We had water and my daughter had her apple juice so we went ahead and started eating. Our waitress came by and asked if we needed anything else, we asked, "Can we please get our drinks?" She went to get them and they were fairly watered down from the melted ice by that point, but they were still good. My food was okay. The pumpkin pancakes were a bit mushy in the middle, but otherwise tasted fine. Chicken apple sausage is always good. My over medium eggs that I gave to my husband were hard. And while eating his pancake he said, "Why does it taste burnt?" His top pancake looked fine, but when we picked it up, the second pancake was burnt. We told our waitress and she said she would have it redone. The second pancake showed up and again, it was burnt, not as bad as the first but still enough for it to taste burnt. Our waitress took it away. The pumpkin donuts were exceptional. My daughter liked her pumpkin pancakes, but she didn't understand why they put chives on her eggs. I told her probably because pumpkin pancakes were not on the kids menu, but we can let them know no chives next time. We were about to leave when we looked outside and they were seating a family of 6ish people. Maybe they got someone to come in? Overall, it was busy, there were some kinks... the food was alright. The place is clean and you can tell everyone is trying their best during the rush, we were just the unfortunate ones who got the domino effect of things not working out. read more

First time (and last) to dine here. Service was absolutely abysmal. Food was ok, but the service made the experience not worth the food and coming back. Was it busy, yes. Did we stay and take up a table for longer than anticipated, yes. Did I waitress through college and understand the importance of tips and holding up a table for a long time, yes. Do I tip well based on the amount of time I'm there and service, absolutely. Sometimes I tip well over my actual bill. However, one carafe of water for a table of 4 and never brought a refill, not ok. I know water is free and doesn't add up a bill, but this was truly disappointing. To make the experience even more unpleasant, there was a large mommy group in there with a literal wall of parked strollers. I can sympathize needing social interaction when my kids were little, but really it was a fire hazard and shouldn't have been allowed. You couldn't walk through that area, so it hindered the wait service. There should have been better management of the service flow that day. I won't be back. read more

The Pomegranate Sunrise was perfectly balanced--refreshing with just the right amount of tartness, and the alcohol level was just right. I paired it with the Market Hash and Million Dollar Bacon, and wow... every bite was packed with flavor. They even offer gluten-free toast with strawberry jam, which was such a great touch! We grabbed seats at the bar which had a delightful vibe, and the bartender really made the experience--upbeat, friendly, and incredibly helpful. All in all, this visit sealed the deal. Their menu has a variety of items including pancakes, french toast, egg dishes, lighter options, etc. as well as a kids menu. A lot to pick from for everyone. My favorites here have been the french toast and million dollar bacon. Their veggie scramble is a good option if you're looking for something that has veggies and is a bit lighter (although they do have more hearty ones too with other meat). The coffee is OK, it's a little dark for our taste. It's nice they give you a full carafe if you want a refill. We ordered the pancake platter with eggs and bacon. The pancakes are a wheat pancake, which I liked, but my husband didn't love. The eggs were cooked nicely and you get four pieces of tasty bacon! I ordered the frittata omelette with the salad and artisan toast and a side of two turkey sausage. My meal was very nice. I asked for the sourdough to be toasted, and that definitely was a great addition. The sandwich was lacking in flavor. We love this place so much yesterday we came back for breakfast today. Sierra and Vaughn were our servers yesterday and Matt was our server today. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. The ambience is open and the decor is welcoming. We had the Chickichanga. It was a delicious omelette filled with chorizo, chicken and avocado. It was topped with sour cream and a pico de gallo hollandaise sauce. So far it is our favorite and one of the items that brought us back in today. We also enjoyed the million dollar potatoes and million dollar bacon. The million dollar potatoes are country potatoes, diced up with an Alfredo sauce with million dollar bacon on top. The million dollar bacon was bacon coated with maple syrup and sprinkled with black pepper. Today we ordered an extra which was the lemon blueberry cornbread. The waitress was very attentive and making sure that I was comfortable and had everything I needed, though.She was very busy in her section with large parties. I had the biscuits in Turkey. Sausage gravy and eggs would roasted potatoes, meal and as for a side of gravy and that bowl, there was the side of gravy, which was way too much, but absolutely delicious. The BlackBerry iced tea, this refillable was so refreshing and delicious. I ended up having 2 glasses and the whole meal cost about 25 bucks. This mail was delicious. I didn't have to put any seasoning on anything. Potatoes, season perfectly eggs, my eggs had cheese on them seasoned perfectly, the biscuits in gravy with the sausage, perfect combination for me.That's a great sign of good cooking.When you don't have to salt or pepper to anything, you're literally just start eating and that's what I did. Third time was not a charm. My third sitting here. Sat at the bar, it was just me. The server was wonderful, pleasant and attentive. I ordered the steel cut oats, described as served with with a blueberry muffin; milk; brown sugar, berries, bananas, and pecans. It arrived, no berries, a thick hard clump of room temp, oats, very little milk. The muffin was cold with a sweaty top, indicating it was refrigerated or frozen and had not been warmed. I was handed my check and told to go to the cashier. No problem. I did. I waited almost 10 minutes as the hostess continued to wander around, checking in new guests, and handing out to go orders. Oblivious to those waiting to check out. The entryway was now full, she started to assist yet another walk in, so I politely stepped over and said I'd like to pay, at which point she said, okay give me a second. I didn't respond with, I've given you nearly 10 minutes. Proceeded to pay. The server should get five stars! The overall experience raised from 1 star to 2 based on the server alone. Then my food was brought by an expediter, but now my whole meal. My waitress never came and checked on me to see that I hadn't received all of my food. I had the pleasure of grabbing breakfast here this morning. I walked in about 20 minutes after they opened, so the place was pretty open seating wise, and I was quickly nestled into my one person booth within minutes. I ordered their purple haze drink, a long with the elevated egg sandwich. The drink was phenomenal! Sweet, and a bit tart. Just what I never knew I needed. My food was also delicious. The gruiere cheese really made it. The sandwich came with a side of potatoes, which were indeed seasoned to perfection, as the menu claims. My server, Jasmine, was fantastic. Now the reason why it took me so long to visit this place, is location! It's in the middle of a bunch of other business sharing the same parking lot. This area at times can be challenging finding a parking spot nearby. Now the food was fine, nothing spectacular. However, I do want to visit again to experience other options. They recently opened this First Watch in Queen Creek and we had to stop in. It's one of our favorite places when we're in N Mesa and I knew this would be no different. We sat at the bar per usual and Jasmen took our orders. We both opted for something different this time, both off the 2 For You Menu. I choose the 1/2 sandwich of the Market Veggie & the Chicken Avocado Chop Salad while my friend ordered the Ham and Gruyère Melt & the Cobb Salad. Both were amazing! Unlike the one on Power in Mesa, this one has a bit longer hours and is open until 2:30. We'll definitely be back. There are so many options on the menu that I'm still drooling over. read more

They are getting some kinks out with the staff and the menu just logistically, but overall, I think that they will be fine, the management is very nice and very helpful the staff is great and the place looks beautiful. favorite breakfast restaurant experience finally happened! Months ago, I heard my favorite breakfast restaurant was moving to Queen Creek. I was elated to find out that it was right in between where I work and where I live and perfectly/ inconveniently located on the way to and from. I have been on the VIP experience list for quite some time, and as I patiently waited for news about when it was opening, I was emailed this past weekend and invited to the soft opening where my family and I enjoyed three, free meals at the new restaurant. Everything is gorgeous, clean, and a fun atmosphere. Definitely new looking/modern and chic in decor. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by a whole team of friendly and upbeat individuals. We were escorted to a table right away since we had a reservation. They gave us a booth since it was myself, my husband, my toddler, and my baby. Our server came over and she was so sweet and efficient. We didn't wait long at all for our food to come out. I've always wanted to try the super food bowl so I ordered that. It's a Chia seed bowl that comes with granola, fresh fruit, and a side of toast with almond butter and sea salt. My son loves the yogurt parfait from the kid's menu so he ordered that which is Greek yogurt topped with granola, fruit, and a side of sourdough toast. My husband ordered the Monterey Jack club, and I took a bite of his. It was delicious as well as the side salad that accompanied it with lemon vinaigrette also tasted amazing. It was so kind of FW to treat us. I felt bad because we didn't have cash to tip and there was no bill so just know, we got you, First Watch. I came back today for day one and they were so kind to give me this amazing Tumblr (featured). I'm so excited that FW is in the QC hood and believe me I will be spending money there, going there for breakfast and getting my favorite, banana/granola pancake that is off the menu Enjoying my avocado, toast, my morning meditation juice, and the Project Sunrise coffee that I love. It's a great place to take the family. It's not too loud, busy in the morning-but easy to get a spot. You can get pick up or delivery. There is a bar, indoor and outdoor seating and parking is readily available in the lot.
