Love it! Really cute old school local place, cozy seating with homey decor & good service. Simple menu brings back a better time, variety of choices without over load of dishes. K.I.S.S Keep it simple stupid... The menu is what you need & they do it will. The huevos rancheros with fried potatoes is delicious ! The place is out there at the end of city limits (feels like it),I don't travel this way much. I have work out here & the place was suggested by a coworker, glad he did, really good homemade hearty food.

Breakfast Sliders with hashbrowns

Unassuming cafe at the end of a strip mall with country decor and, frankly, terrible lighting but soooo worth the visit! You're not visiting this place for the atmosphere but you are here for the delicious food! The restaurant is clean and our service was great. I picked a unique breakfast I found on the menu...Breakfast Sliders. I was VERY happy with my choice and the rest of the table envied my dish. Three sliders with chicken fried steak, onions and Swiss cheese on a biscuit. Served with your choice of potatoes and gravy. I chose the hashbrowns. We had never been to the San Tan Cafe but we will definitely be back again, soon!

We finally got a chance to check this place out on a Thursday at 8:30am. They have a good following of locals. It's a cute place with friendly servers. The coffee is average for a Diner. We got the pancake plate and two eggs with hashbrowns, bacon and toast. The eggs were cooked nicely. The toast and the hashbrowns could've been cooked a little more but I guess we just need to ask for well done next time. Pancakes were good. The sausage had a nice flavor. They keep the coffee coming if you want extra. It's a solid breakfast diner.

Wanted to try a new place by the house. Found this place and will say the food was amazing. I had an omelette and hash browns. So filling. The service was great. Sat us down quickly and immediately asked about drinks. Was always stopping by and checking on us. The place has a great family feel to it, but will say. It was packed and stayed packed the entire time we were there. Great place to eat.

A typical go-to order for us is one orders one pancake and the other orders the 2-eggs, tater tots, sausage with sourdough toast and jam. It's the perfect amount of food to share since we typically walk from our community. We wish that they offered lates as their coffee is good, but a little dark for us. For hot drinks, they only serve regular coffee. They seem to have a nice variety of iced coffee drinks on tap for those who like ice coffee. We'll be back again!

The gravy tasted burnt for some reason. Maybe they used bacon grease that was left on the burner too long? It wasn't burnt but tasted like it. They also didn't give nearly enough gravy. So it was quite dry. Crackers & Co off the 60 & country club is still the hands down winner of biscuits and gravy in the east valley. Fresh squeezed OJ was good. Pricy. But you can taste that they for sure were squeezing their oranges fresh in the back. Pancake dog was pretty good nothing to run home about though. Scrambled eggs were really tasty - not liquid fake egg or powder. We sat outside and even though we were in the shade now I was concerned that the sun may of been hitting the area we were sitting earlier in the day. And this concerned me because they don't mind having the cholula and ketchup baking in the sun. So be aware of you use their condiments they may of been outside baking in the az sun (as shown in my pic). The service was respectful and nice. Don't think I'll be back especially if I want biscuits and gravy... may try something else in take out in the future.

We came in hungry and left questioning why we ever eat anywhere else. From the moment we sat down,…read moreour server, Von, set the tone patient enough to handle our indecisiveness (which deserves an award on its own), and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Not once did we feel rushed, and every question was met with thoughtful, helpful answers. What really stood out, though, were the suggestions. This wasn't your typical "everything's good" kind of guidance our server clearly knew the menu inside and out and steered us toward dishes we might not have picked ourselves... and wow, they did not miss. Every recommendation was a hit. The food arrived quickly (honestly, faster than we expected), and everything was fresh, flavorful, and surprisingly light while still being completely satisfying. It's that perfect balance of healthy and delicious that makes you feel like you're winning at life. Between the top notch service and the incredible food, this place easily earned a spot on our "we'll definitely be back" list. But let's be honest we might be coming back just as much for that server as we are for the food.

We went to celebrate my birthday, and I even got to use a buy-one-get-one-free deal they sent me... such a fun bonus! Everything I ordered was spot on. The Pomegranate Sunrise was perfectly balanced--refreshing with just the right amount of tartness, and the alcohol level was just right. I paired it with the Market Hash and Million Dollar Bacon, and wow... every bite was packed with flavor. They even offer gluten-free toast with strawberry jam, which was such a great touch! We grabbed seats at the bar which had a delightful vibe, and the bartender really made the experience--upbeat, friendly, and incredibly helpful. All in all, this visit sealed the deal. I think we've officially found our new go-to breakfast spot!
