My friends and I were in the mood for some live music and wanted to try a new restaurant, so we decided to check out Cork & Craft. We came for Thursday night happy hour and stayed to listen to the band. Marble Heart Trio was fantastic! I also appreciated that the music wasn't so loud that we couldn't carry on a conversation. A huge plus. Since it was our first time here, we decided to share several appetizers. Every single one was delicious! We ordered the loaded mashed potatoes, grilled shrimp skewers, the beer cheese pretzel board, and the Angus beef sliders with shoestring fries. Everything was perfect for sharing, and we finished every bite. The service was excellent, and we really enjoyed the overall atmosphere. We're already looking forward to coming back to try more items on the menu. The food and drinks were excellent and the service, once we got service, was excellent too. We did have to wait 15 minutes before the server stopped at our table. If you like an Old Fashioned, they have the best one I have ever had. $18 but amazing! It was a beautiful evening and the doors & windows were open so all could enjoy it! We shared three different items and we both enjoyed them all. My complaint is the table and chairs. Both were leaning about 1-1/2" so we had to put our weight on them to level them. Also the chairs we were on had a weird slope that makes you slide out of them. Fix these and easily a 5 star rating. read more

We had such a great time at Cork & Craft. This place is such a gem for us since it is literally across the street from home, and it never disappoints. The energy is always on point and the live music just takes the whole experience up another level. The tinga tostadas were absolutely amazing. So much flavor and perfectly balanced. The wine selection is superb, with enough variety to keep things interesting every time we come in. I do wish they had a few more steak options, but the New York is not an easy cut to get right and they nailed it. Cooked perfectly and seasoned really well. Kennedy took great care of us and made the experience even better. Liam, the busboy, was such a sweetheart and very attentive. You can tell the team works well together. My friends and I were looking for some live music with good food and this is it!!!! We came for happy hour and enjoyed some delicious appetizers. There were 4 of us and we shared 5 appetizers. They were all really good. I was impressed! We also had wonderful service, our waitress went to school with my daughter! How crazy. She was wonderful. First thing first. Food was delicious. My friend and I ordered four items (pictured) and shared. We even had leftovers! Last night was our first time at Cork & Craft and we loved it! We were out to celebrate my husband's birthday with friends and wanted somewhere that we could hang out for a few hours, enjoy some good wine, and great food. This checked all of the boxes and our server Isiah was so attentive the entire night. We shared bruschetta, the hummus plate, chicken lollipops, the pretzel board, and smashed potato appetizers. We also ordered fish & chips, the Napa salad, and carne asada tacos. Everything was delicious. The live music that started at 7pm was great as well and not too loud that you couldn't still talk to one another. We'll be back for sure! read more

What an amazing find! So very glad I came across this restaurant by accident on line. We visited last night to celebrate my birthday and both my husband and I agree how wonderful the entire visit was! The menu is unique and the ambiance is very pleasant. They had live music playing - Danny Austin. The music was upbeat and just playing at the right level - meaning we didn't have to scream at each other to hear our conversation within the restaurant. I did make reservations via the yelp app and we were greeted promptly upon entering. The hostess seated us quickly and provided us with water shortly thereafter. The staffing arrangement was unique in that we were greeted by Alissa who explained to us the menu options, the fact that it was still happy hour and what options were available then. She provided details about the menu and answered our questions and offered suggestions to us when we explained this was our first visit. My husband had the blackened shrimp tacos and I had the friend chicken entree. We also had the calamari tapa - which by the way, during happy hour, ALL tapas are discounted! The calamari was oh so yummy - lightly coated and not overly breaded. The blackened shrimp tacos were quite tasty according to my husband who ate all 3!!! Those were served with basmati rice with a seasoning that went well with the tacos he said. The shrimp were large and served just right, not overcooked. My friend chicken was to die for! Again, the breading was just right, and the chicken breast used was definitely piping hot and oh so tender and juicy! The gravy, well, my only recommendation - ask for more because it is AMAZING!!!! And I should make a special note that Alissa went out of her way to wish me a happy birthday and even provided a complimentary birthday desert to top off our meal. She explained it was a brookie... a mix between a brownie and a cookie served with blueberries and strawberries, chocolate sauce and whipped cream. Based on other reviews, I gave it a try for my monthly girls' lunch. They thanked me!!! Everyone agreed it was a 5. Service, thanks Jenn, was excellent. We gabbed and she let us. Kept us hydrated while we excitedly spoke about our last few weeks. When ordering came along, we asked for different items, chicken Caesar, the chicken bowl and the pork sliders. They were AMAZING!!! Hubby & I had dinner here last night. We arrived a little before 5:00 & we did not have a reservation. There were 2 hostesses as we talked in. The bar top is open seating, but it was pretty full. We were offered outdoor seating, patio seating or a table that we had to be gone by 6:15. We opted for the table as we did not plan on staying there an hour & 15 minutes. We understood that people had reservations & the table would be needed. What was of putting was the way she said it. Neither one of the hostesses were friendly. So, I totally recommend making reservations. It took awhile for our server to come over, but he had several tables. He was friendly. Hubby ordered a beer. I had the red sangria. Both were good. We ordered the cheese & pretzel board. Hubby had the sliders & added fries. I had the crispy chicken sandwich, no honey hot sauce or tomato. I also asked for a side of ranch, which they charge you $1 for. The pretzels were good again. The cheese sauce, mustard & pickles are good. We had a whole pretzel to take home. We were out of cheese sauce so we asked for another to go. We discovered they charge $2 for. Hubby liked his sliders & fries. They say smashed, but they are thicker. Love this neighborhood gem and brought a friend who had never been before. I was raving about their Brussels sprouts, and while they weren't quite as crispy as the first time I had them, everything was still super tasty and it's always a good time here. The service is consistently on point, everyone is always so patient and sweet. This was my first time coming back where they opened up the space, and I loved the indoor-outdoor vibe. I also came on a night without live music, which was actually really nice because I got to experience the restaurant in a different atmosphere. My hope? Caught them on a bad night. I've read about this place and had people suggest this place and in checking it out? I'm sadly not super impressed. We rolled up at 5:45 on a Friday expecting it to be busy and it was... because there was a wedding event blocking most of the venue (totally fine and good for business so good for them!). The issue? Only a couple of servers were assigned there but ALL of the servers seemed overwhelmed by it. It took about ten minutes for our server to greet us and take our drink order and then another 5-10 minutes before we got our two beers. We ended up sticking with our original tapas order of sliders and our beers and even with just those things we were sitting for about 40 minutes. That's WAY too long for apps and drinks anywhere. It also made us decide not to have our full meal here which is why I only tried the sliders. Sliders were mediocre at best but not gross and server was kind albeit so slow and everything was overpriced for the portion it's crazy (it was happy hour by the way). Gave two stars because service and food wasn't god awful but literally everything could have been better. Will not be returning unfortunately. read more

It's nice this place is open for lunch. I do think it's a bit crowded in there but maybe they are full in the evenings. There is live music on the stage and people probably go and eat while they listen. I like they can open the huge window in the front leading to the patio. It lightens the place up because i there is a lot of dark wood Service was great. My husband had the beef slider and fries and he seemed to enjoy what he was eating. We were in the Valley for a couple of days due to a concert. This was our 1st visit, and we will be back! We tried the bacon wrapped Kobe meatloaf and the blackened chicken risotto. Both were excellent with lovely presentation as were our desserts. Zach, our server, was great--very friendly, informative and provided terrific service. While we opted for wine, the drink menu had a number of items we'll try in the future. Once the entertainment began, it was challenging for conversation, but we expected that. The restaurant that was here previously was the Wild Vine, which we have frequented multiple times. Last week was the first time coming to the location under its new ownership and operating as Cork & Craft. They have retained the staff almost in its entirety. They've made some changes to the layout of the restaurant, but it essentially still has the local neighborhood feel. There was formerly more space with a back room, but it was not really used - and that whole space has been walled up. They still have a great menu and specialty cocktails. The live music was great, music leans more country. At least the night that we went. And he was great. It was a Saturday night, and looks like they were fully staffed. There wasn't any unusual long wait for drinks or food. Look forward to coming back, so glad we still have this local gem! read more

Walked in and there were a few tables, but it was still early in the evening so we sat immediately but then that's where the service ended. There were servers at the bar area. There was a server at the hostess station, and there was even a server that checked on a table behind us, but not one single person said hi to us or I'll be right with you I could understand if I hadn't seen available servers or the table behind us getting checked on twice!! Fries were good but the sliders were below average and for .50 less I can go to Blue 32 and get four sliders with fries. And the sliders there are way better! That thing fell apart before it even made it to the table. The "Big" crunchy chicken sandwich was neither big or crunchy. What was big was the mounds of lettuce and tomatoes. Waitress handled us mostly by herself and did a fantastic job getting everyone drinks, etc. we were well taken care of!! The vibe of this place is so cozy! We always follow and LOVE PAINTED SOUL!!! The staff is amazing! Alissa our waitress was so kind and gave great recommendations on food and drinks. Excellent service! We started at a table and then moved to the bar area where Jason was so fun! We met so many nice people hanging out at the bar (felt like a CHEERS experience)! Our Party of 6 ordered many items to share off the menu: 1-chicken tinga tacos were full of flavor. 2-shrimp skewers had a wonderful cream sauce and flavor 3-smashed potatoes were fantastic. I loved the jalapeño on top of each one. The ranch dressing put them over the top. 4-beef skewers had a tasty chimichurri sauce. They were a little rare for me but had a great flavor. 5-beef sliders and fries were gone before I could try them so I take that as a good sign. We also ordered the wedge salad and bruschetta. They looked amazing but at this point I had tapped out. The rest of the party enjoyed them both. I had the blood orange Cosmo to drink, and it was well made and very good. I do love a restaurant with live music. However, due to the smaller size of the dining area, the music was too loud and made it difficult to have a conversation with the six people at our table.. Came here for my birthday and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The shrimp tacos were the best I have ever had, and the food all around was phenomenal. The live music hit just the right level, not too loud but not too quiet, so we could still enjoy conversation while soaking up the atmosphere. Since moving to Arizona 3 years ago I love discovering restaurants that take my tastebuds to the next level. The Risotto with Salmon was the absolute best that I've Ever Eaten!! The flavor of the sauce that was created from ingredients and seasonings was amazing! I chose salmon as the topper and it was grilled to perfection. This is only the second time I've eaten a dish so tasty. The first time was Chicken Marsala at a small Italian restaurant in Chicago, 32 years ago. I started the meal with a side Cesar salad that was not on the menu but available for $8. Definitely worth it in my opinion. The croutons and the dressing tasted homemade. I plan on returning to Cork and Craft to try some of their other dishes very soon. One thing worth mentioning if you want to have a quiet dinner then come before 7 pm as live music starts then. Also for reservations I would suggest speaking to a live person as the bot didn't have correct seating information. If you're looking for food that is created from a chef and not a chain restaurants cook I think you will not be disappointed. read more
