I came into Cork & Craft about a week ago and have been thinking about it since! So much so, I decided to download Yelp and write a review. Food: Excellent. I tried the chicken risotto- absolutely delicious! I've tried many risottos at different restaurants and they never quite have the right texture balance. The chefs here have nailed it! The risotto is nice and creamy, but not TOO creamy. I loved it. In addition, the seasoning on the chicken was perfect, truly the entire dish was perfect. Service: Also amazing! Our server, Abby, was great. Very attentive and accommodating. The hostess, Bella, was also very helpful and talkative, she recommended the chicken risotto for me! I also saw the other teammates working hard on the floor, always checking in on their coworkers and helping each other out. It's a very kind and social environment! The food and drinks were excellent and the service, once we got service, was excellent too. We did have to wait 15 minutes before the server stopped at our table. If you like an Old Fashioned, they have the best one I have ever had. $18 but amazing! It was a beautiful evening and the doors & windows were open so all could enjoy it! We shared three different items and we both enjoyed them all. My complaint is the table and chairs. Both were leaning about 1-1/2" so we had to put our weight on them to level them. Also the chairs we were on had a weird slope that makes you slide out of them. Fix these and easily a 5 star rating. read more

We had such a great time at Cork & Craft. This place is such a gem for us since it is literally across the street from home, and it never disappoints. The energy is always on point and the live music just takes the whole experience up another level. The tinga tostadas were absolutely amazing. So much flavor and perfectly balanced. The wine selection is superb, with enough variety to keep things interesting every time we come in. I do wish they had a few more steak options, but the New York is not an easy cut to get right and they nailed it. Cooked perfectly and seasoned really well. Kennedy took great care of us and made the experience even better. Liam, the busboy, was such a sweetheart and very attentive. You can tell the team works well together. First thing first. Food was delicious. My friend and I ordered four items (pictured) and shared. We even had leftovers! Service was prompt (seated right away, orders taken promptly, food didn't take long to arrive), the server was extremely helpful (food recommendations), and informative (provided info about music/events). Kept us hydrated while we excitedly spoke about our last few weeks. When ordering came along, we asked for different items, chicken Caesar, the chicken bowl and the pork sliders. They were AMAZING!!! Wanted to try something new and this popped up close to our location. Walked in and there were a few tables, but it was still early in the evening so we sat immediately but then that's where the service ended. There were servers at the bar area. There was a server at the hostess station, and there was even a server that checked on a table behind us, but not one single person said hi to us or I'll be right with you I could understand if I hadn't seen available servers or the table behind us getting checked on twice!! What an amazing find! So very glad I came across this restaurant by accident on line. We visited last night to celebrate my birthday and both my husband and I agree how wonderful the entire visit was! The menu is unique and the ambiance is very pleasant. They had live music playing - Danny Austin. The music was upbeat and just playing at the right level - meaning we didn't have to scream at each other to hear our conversation within the restaurant. I did make reservations via the yelp app and we were greeted promptly upon entering. The hostess seated us quickly and provided us with water shortly thereafter. The staffing arrangement was unique in that we were greeted by Alissa who explained to us the menu options, the fact that it was still happy hour and what options were available then. She provided details about the menu and answered our questions and offered suggestions to us when we explained this was our first visit. My husband had the blackened shrimp tacos and I had the friend chicken entree. We also had the calamari tapa - which by the way, during happy hour, ALL tapas are discounted! The calamari was oh so yummy - lightly coated and not overly breaded. The blackened shrimp tacos were quite tasty according to my husband who ate all 3!!! Those were served with basmati rice with a seasoning that went well with the tacos he said. The shrimp were large and served just right, not overcooked. My friend chicken was to die for! Again, the breading was just right, and the chicken breast used was definitely piping hot and oh so tender and juicy! The gravy, well, my only recommendation - ask for more because it is AMAZING!!!! And I should make a special note that Alissa went out of her way to wish me a happy birthday and even provided a complimentary birthday desert to top off our meal. She explained it was a brookie... a mix between a brownie and a cookie served with blueberries and strawberries, chocolate sauce and whipped cream. Hubby & I had dinner here last night. We arrived a little before 5:00 & we did not have a reservation. There were 2 hostesses as we talked in. The bar top is open seating, but it was pretty full. We were offered outdoor seating, patio seating or a table that we had to be gone by 6:15. We opted for the table as we did not plan on staying there an hour & 15 minutes. We understood that people had reservations & the table would be needed. What was of putting was the way she said it. Neither one of the hostesses were friendly. So, I totally recommend making reservations. It took awhile for our server to come over, but he had several tables. He was friendly. Hubby ordered a beer. I had the red sangria. Both were good. We ordered the cheese & pretzel board. Hubby had the sliders & added fries. I had the crispy chicken sandwich, no honey hot sauce or tomato. I also asked for a side of ranch, which they charge you $1 for. The pretzels were good again. The cheese sauce, mustard & pickles are good. We had a whole pretzel to take home. We were out of cheese sauce so we asked for another to go. We discovered they charge $2 for. Hubby liked his sliders & fries. They say smashed, but they are thicker. Love this neighborhood gem and brought a friend who had never been before. I was raving about their Brussels sprouts, and while they weren't quite as crispy as the first time I had them, everything was still super tasty and it's always a good time here. The service is consistently on point, everyone is always so patient and sweet. This was my first time coming back where they opened up the space, and I loved the indoor-outdoor vibe. I also came on a night without live music, which was actually really nice because I got to experience the restaurant in a different atmosphere. My hope? Caught them on a bad night. I've read about this place and had people suggest this place and in checking it out? I'm sadly not super impressed. We rolled up at 5:45 on a Friday expecting it to be busy and it was... because there was a wedding event blocking most of the venue (totally fine and good for business so good for them!). The issue? Only a couple of servers were assigned there but ALL of the servers seemed overwhelmed by it. It took about ten minutes for our server to greet us and take our drink order and then another 5-10 minutes before we got our two beers. We ended up sticking with our original tapas order of sliders and our beers and even with just those things we were sitting for about 40 minutes. That's WAY too long for apps and drinks anywhere. It also made us decide not to have our full meal here which is why I only tried the sliders. Sliders were mediocre at best but not gross and server was kind albeit so slow and everything was overpriced for the portion it's crazy (it was happy hour by the way). Gave two stars because service and food wasn't god awful but literally everything could have been better. Will not be returning unfortunately. read more

It's nice this place is open for lunch. I do think it's a bit crowded in there but maybe they are full in the evenings. There is live music on the stage and people probably go and eat while they listen. I like they can open the huge window in the front leading to the patio. Had a way better dinner experience than lunch. Aside from server completely forgetting about my cocktail and finding a hair in my fries...don't EVER order the chicken wrap. That thing fell apart before it even made it to the table. The "Big" crunchy chicken sandwich was neither big or crunchy. What was big was the mounds of lettuce and tomatoes. First, let's just say I don't know how long they been here but this is not the original restaurant. But what has a risen with this new spot? Is everything and some. Had a craving for a burger. They did not disappoint. burger was cooked mid well juicy for a flavor, the pickles. Let's just say it was spicy and savory, sweet and savory savory. The fries were light and fluffy. Krispy and delicious. Was not expecting it. Arrived when they first opened. So of course. It wasn't very crowded. So the service was excellent. The inside hadn't changed very much from the previous owners. But it was comfy, relaxing. And we had a nice time. Oh yeah, let's talk about this old fashion. It was probably one of the smoothest old-fashioned. I've had in a while. I savored every sip. I don't know how his place got away from me. The restaurant that was here previously was the Wild Vine, which we have frequented multiple times. Last week was the first time coming to the location under its new ownership and operating as Cork & Craft. They have retained the staff almost in its entirety. They've made some changes to the layout of the restaurant, but it essentially still has the local neighborhood feel. There was formerly more space with a back room, but it was not really used - and that whole space has been walled up. They still have a great menu and specialty cocktails. The live music was great, music leans more country. At least the night that we went. And he was great. It was a Saturday night, and looks like they were fully staffed. There wasn't any unusual long wait for drinks or food. Look forward to coming back, so glad we still have this local gem! read more

This place has a pretty good food and drink menu. Unfortunately there's a lot more negatives than positives. My husband ordered a double Blanton's but they were out. I ordered the beef tenderloins but they didn't taste like tenderloins. They were tough. So much so I had to ask for a steak knife. Then they were over cooked. She said they were a medium but there's no way. I wasnt even going to say anything but my friend said it was unacceptable and way over cooked. They removed it from the bill but it obviously was not a great experience. We sat outside because the music was way too loud to enjoy conversation with our friends. Not sure I would go back. We had been really looking forward to trying this restaurant, but unfortunately it was a major disappointment. We visited on a Monday night when it wasn't very busy, so we expected a pretty smooth experience. After ordering, we waited over 15 minutes and still hadn't received my drink or our appetizer. I also ran out of water fairly early on, and our server never once checked back in after taking our order. My husband eventually went to the bar to ask for water and check on my drink, but stood there for about five minutes being completely ignored by the bartender, who didn't even acknowledge him. With how slow it was, there really didn't seem to be any excuse for that. I ended up having to wave down our server multiple times just to get her attention. When we finally asked about our drink and appetizer, she gave us a completely blank "deer in headlights" look and then went to ring everything in well after we had already ordered. When our food finally arrived, we asked for ranch and mustard. We then watched our server go in and out of the kitchen numerous times, but those condiments never showed up. It actually became a bit comical watching to see if they would appear the next time she came out... but they never did! She never checked on us once after our food arrived, and never asked us how things were when we asked for the check (she probably already knew). And considering how much restaurants rely on drink sales, it was surprising no one ever came by again, because I definitely would have ordered another if anyone had shown up. Missed opportunity for sure. The only positive thing about the experience was the ambiance. Everything else fell short. Service was poor, prices were high, and the food was mediocre at best. Back to Cork and Craft! Not for a Yelp event this time, but to see Carvin Jones play!! I had made a reservation, as Carvin is known to play packed houses. We had the perfect table, which was waiting for us at 7pm, as requested. We ordered drinks and a couple appetizers. I have been craving the Chicken Lollipops since my last visit so that was my appetizer choice! We also ordered calamari, which was perfectly cooked. For my entree I ordered one of the nights specials which was Parmesan Risotto w/ Steak Tenderloins. It was amazing! Also ordered was the shrimp tacos and a burger. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food. The sound system here is great for live music. However Carvin's fans like to dance and there was not much room for that here. It worked out fine and he put on a fantastic show! We're glad you are back, Carvin!! I'll definitely keep up with Cork and Crafts line up and try to catch more artists soon. Made a reservation for tonight...date night!! Made the reservation for 730p and getting there at 715p the hostess put us outside. I explained I did not select to sit outside(something I NEVER do) she proceeds to say what's what our systems says. Needless to say we left. By the time I got back to my car she had canceled our reservation...that tells me they can change and move as they want. But I wanted to verify so I went back into website it make reservation for tomorrow and it and I repeat it did NOT give me an option to even select patio. My husband and I grabbed a last minute reservation here last night and had planned to just get a drink and appetizer then go somewhere else for dinner. But we were pleasantly surprised with the amazing live music and great ambiance! The hostess was very friendly when we came in and our table wasn't ready yet because we were early but we grabbed a drink at the bar, and the bartender was incredibly quick, helpful and kind! Then our server, Isaiah was also amazing and had great recommendations, checked in frequently and just had a great attitude/vibe.
