Absolute favorite place to go for cheap beers and great bar food. We love coming here especially on wing Wednesdays for .79 wings. The servers are great and take care of business. Also the eclectic mix of music and friendly people make this place a great neighborhood bar. They always have UFC fights on and enough TVs for every game you could want. Didn't have time to go anywhere else on Sunday, so decided to get wings for Cogburn's for our get together on Sunday evening. I ordered three orders of 15 pc chicken wings...Lemon Pepper, Honey BBQ, and Garlic Parmesan. Mixed reviews in the Lemon Pepper. I liked them, others thought they were too salty. Honey BBQ was mid at best. The only thing would could agree on was that the Garlic Parmesan was horrible!! Absolutely no garlic taste to them whatsoever, yet there was hair-like strands of cheese sprinkled over them as if to dress them up. Won't be coming here for wings again. read more

I asked the waitress what her favorite dish was and she gave me like 10 items. I tried the boneless wings with the raspberry chipotle sauce - hey, I'm weird about chicken. Anywho, they were rock hard. I couldn't cut through them, it was more like breaking them in pieces. And the sauce, could barely taste any chipotle. It was like raspberry jam on my wings. We sat for a while waiting on our check. We got our waters refilled first, and then had to ask for the check. Mind you, our plates were cleared and we were obviously done. Decided to try this place. We had a certificate for a discount. So, we enter. And stand. And stand. They left us standing there. Finally we were noticed (I wasn't exactly hiding). Not an auspicious start. They weren't exactly busy. The waitress was friendly enough once we had her attention. Adequate attention was present during the ordering process. I ordered a basic burger and fries, and my wife ordered the Philly with side salad. My wife noticed a quality issue with the salad. The waitress replaced the salad without being asked. So that is good service. Bonus points for that. My burger was simple but good. Good flavor, seemed to be fresh, and the fries were good. The Philly was dry and flavorless. Not a good sandwich. I would rate the burger 4 stars. It's just a burger, but it was good. I would rate the Philly one star. Once we had a waitress she was fine and friendly. There are plenty of tv's, but the size of most of them are on the small size. Service is OK. Our server was pleasant, but a little forgetful and could be a bit more attentive to her customers. She didn't seem to knowledgeable on the current menu. Ordered their wings, which is advertised & are supposedly known for. Latest is the " have to have" PB & J flavor. We passed on that! Did do the Raspberry Chipotle " which was way to sweet "..The "5 flavor" was our favorite fried , then grilled and sauced perfectly. BTW; NOTE- to have them grilled is NO additional fee! Highly Recommend! Had included in our meals the Tuesday Night special - French Dip. Unfortunately, it was Bland! Had to ask for sauces to add to the actual dip! I called and asked to make a pickup order at 10:38pm and she asked for payment over the phone which I did not want to do, so I told her we will just drive down there to order and pay in person. I got there right at 11pm, I was acknowledged at about 11:02pm and was told by the same girl that I'd just spoken with on the phone that the kitchen closed at 11pm. Wasting time and gas to come down there, thinking it's no big deal since I just talked to them so I wasn't in a hurry. Biggest frustration was simply the lack of mention that the kitchen was about to close so I could hurry up and make sure I was there before 11, or bite the bullet and pay over the phone even though I wanted to avoid that if at all possible. I could be wrong, but it almost seemed intentionally left out because they didn't want to make the food so close to wrapping up for the night. I understand to some degree but the whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth, and I definitely won't be coming here or recommending it to anyone else, I would rather just be told no on the initial phone call so that I didn't waste time and gas. The manager doesnt care about customers and will hold personal grudges and kick peoe out for no reason at all. I was there today and witnessed a group of about 10 women get banned for life because the manager decided she didn't like them. The women were quiet and enjoying themselves when all of a sudden they were told to leave and they would not be allowed back. They advertise big wings but the The wings were not big and mediocre at best and this is coming from someone who is from the birthplace of the chicken wing and has pretty good standards of what a good wing is. We also got the potato skins which were subpar along with the pretzel with cheese which was god awful it tasted like a skating rink pretzel with old nacho cheese that had been on a warmer for a while. We are not from around the area so didn't really know where else to go.
