OK, Fat Willy's is a sports bar. Classic sports bar. Lots of TVs, classic bar food. When they open up the doors, the outdoor seating is actually quite nice and good weather. But his sports bars go out would consider it middle of the road. I come here for the wings. Their wings are some of the best, especially if you ordered them double fried extra crispy. Some of the other dishes are also really good like the Carne Asada fries and fajitas. Some dishes are lacking, like the potato skins are basically a baked potato cut in half and topped with some cheap cheese, maybe a few diced tomatoes and dip jalapeño. The service is hitting me sometimes I've had the nominal servers and other times I've had black left or servers. I would probably give it three stars, but I'm giving it four simply because I absolutely love to come here for the wings. I can't say enough good things about their wings.. read more

We brought 11 baseball players their siblings and parents between baseball games. Amazingly we all got drinks, food and ate with time to spare. The kitchen had it going on!! Food was good too. Wait staff were calm and patient to get us all fed. Liked that family atmosphere and their willingness to be flexible with moving tables around. read more

The friendly, cheerful, attentive service at the bar was the star here. I also liked the modern, spacious, clean and nice interior with plenty of TVs and rollup doors for access to the nice patio area. Unfortunately, the $6.25 well drink price was excessive. I'm dropping my stars on this review. Every time we've been here it's always been great, however this time was a little disappointing. The appetizers were great as always but a couple of our entrees were subpar this time. I got the steak Gorgonzola, the sauce was very light so I asked if I could have a little extra, she said no problem. I didn't get it until after I had my food boxed up and ready to take home. She ended up bringing it in a little bag so didn't get chance to look at it. When I did get a chance to eat it, it didn't even look like the sauce was the same as what is supposed to be on it. They also charged an extra 1.50 for it. The steak didn't taste good either. The garlic toast had way too much butter and didn't even taste any garlic. My husband ordered the beef stroganoff, they gave him someone else's food and gave the other person his food. They took the meal away that they served him and said they'd get the correct order out to him. He asked for it to go since everyone else was finished with their food. When he got it home, they had taken the meat off the wrong order and put it on this order. Wasn't even the correct type of meat that belonged on it and he also said it did not taste good. read more

6/23/25 Parking 5/5 Plenty of spaces at 2 pm. We parked near the front. Ambiance 5/5 Classic Sports Bar. Always clean and casual atmosphere. We arrived off peak and the dining room was quiet. Music was playing at an appropriate background level which was nice, in fact we started playing guess that tune as a variety of 80's & 90's songs played. Service 4/5 Our server was the only one duty covering two dining rooms. Despite her being challenged she moved like an Olympic Ice Skater. She took our Drink and starter orders. Seemed like just a few minutes our order arrived. Food 3/5 My wife ordered her bacon Brussels. Which she chose as her entree. They had a perfect char and are still some of the best we've enjoyed anywhere! I ordered the deep fried Zucchini. It was served with the typical ranch dressing, served hot and delicious! My Steak Fajitas entree arrived perfectly timed as I finished the Zucchini. The skillet was not sizzling and contents were floating in water. I should have returned them but instead hunger overruled common sense. The skillet was barely warm but the food smelled good. I loaded a corn tortilla and took my first bite. The stake flavor was good, nicely seasoned. The vegetables were cooked thoroughly but the dish fell short of great due to the water content and improper skillet temperature. Truth be told my order was influenced by another customers skillet passing near us and it was sizzling as you would expect it to and the aroma was deliciously intoxicating. I wish that was my order. Parting comments The kitchen fell short and the server should never allowed a low temperature skillet come to our table. The cause was management allowing an understaffed server crew that resulted in my order sitting too long. If the Kitchen or manager notices an order sitting they should pull it back or step in and help get it to the customer. $53.25 Eat well my friends- SYOY read more

My daughter had a cheer competition on Saturday during the ASU Big12 Championship Game. I was looking for a sports bar near the competition site to watch the game in between her performances. Fat Willy's was 2 min away...I was sold! Now, with that said....... GO DEVILS!!! Yes!!! Ahem, back to the review.... Not many places have Non-Alcoholic Guinness, this place does which was a bonus. I happily washed down a basket of onion rings with a few while watching ASU throttle Iowa State both offensively and defensively. The service was great and checked on me a few times during my visits back and forth from the cheer competition. The onion rings were good and the chipotle ranch was perfect for them. Over all, it was a great experience and I'll be back. Fun Fact: ASU has scored more TD's in ATT Stadium (one game) than the Cowboys have scored there all season :) On a scale of 1 - 10, I will always remember eating at Fat Willy's and watching ASU win the Big12 Championship and making the College Football Playoffs until the day I die. We love the atmosphere and service at this location. Not sure what was going on when we went to breakfast but my wife's breakfast was burnt and the meat in her omelet was like charcoal. We explained to Abby and she was on top of it. They sent out a second omelet which was their normal delicious. Their food is so good and the portions are huge. We want to praise the bartender Abby. It's time for Fat Willy's to cease charging the .50 extra for eggs, and to please remove the sign on the entrance door. The price of eggs are down and there is no increase in bird flu. Turn on the news and there is nothing reported on these anymore. If there was still an issue, it would be plastered in our faces from the news reports. Well, I ordered the steak House burger something I probably won't order again wasn't all that tasty fries are okay. It's been awhile since I've eaten here, I should have gotten the ribs. Maybe next time if they're is a next time My food server took my order and was there for the bill but nothing in between. I didn't have a chance to tell him that the burger was more medium well than medium rare if he would've stopped by I would've said something he got a two dollar tip more than he deserved. read more

Monday July 22, 2019 My first time visiting here. I am a burger guy and I was very pleased to find out Monday's special was regular burgers for $6 with the purchase of a drink. I ordered the Port Wine burger, and the Southwest BBQ burger medium rare. I had fries on the side for both. Yes, I ate both burgers... I had the port wine burger first. It was cooked to medium well, instead of medium rare. I really like this burger and the flavor combinations it had were perfectly balanced. The inner side of the bun was toasted and added that extra bit of flavor to it as well. What I really really liked though were the french fries. They were just crispy enough, perfectly sized in width. They weren't shoes string and they weren't steak style fries. To be honest I wish I could have taken a bucket of those bad boys home. The Southwest BBQ burger was medium. The BBQ sauce had a sweet taste to it but not too sweet. Just the right amount of BBQ sauce on it. The tiny bacon pieces on it were a little crisp and kind of distracting. But the crispness preference of bacon is as varied as which soda is better. The burgers came with thin slices of onion. I liked that because many places put on a real thick slice of onion and it overwhelms the other flavors in the burger. Lettuce was nice and crisp. The tomato slice was fine. Speaking of soda, I had the root beer. It had great flavor and wasn't watered down at all. Just enough fizz to not overwhelm you while drinking it. The pickle which came with each burger plate didn't have too much flavor, but was still a nice addition. They have plenty of tv's there so you can catch almost any event currently happening. The table was nice and clean. The server was really on top of her game and was checking in on me often. The manager was making rounds and talking with guests also making sure everything was going well. Thanks for a great experience. I'll be back again for sure. read more

We recently moved to the area and this sports bar has quickly become a staple! They have an amazing happy hour from 2-7pm on both food and beverages. I was so excited to see they had big blue van on draft! We've tried almost all of the appetizers and I recommend the southwest egg rolls and fried mozzarella. The potato skins aren't too flavorful and the wings are just ok. They have a fairly large menu for pretty much everyone! I love the patio which includes a smoking section and heaters for the winter/night time. The service is quick and TVs are ample. TV sports and cold drinks...they do a great job with a very nice staff. The food is rather mundane but typical of many "sports bars" in the area...meaning, not much food and high prices to offset the TV streaming costs. I'd like to see consistency between the same orders. Example: One time a entry set of items will look much like the photos on this site. Another time, the items look like they came from Taco Bell or McD's - but that's not really fair because I never would eat in those places. read more

I have ordered and ate at Fat Willy's in the past. Lately it has been take-out. The food is ok, but the service for take out is HORIBLE. Tonight will be the last time for me cause I never got our order. Called it in at 7:25 pm and was told it would be 20 minutes, drove there and it was about 20 minutes, was told when I got there that they had a party of 30 show without a reservation and it was going to be another 20 minutes, after 40 minutes I asked them to check on my order and they said it was going to be another 20 minutes. I said no and left! On my way home I got a text that my order was ready, so I turned around went back, showed the text and they said this was cause the order was canceled. Unbelievable!!!!! Good bar food. Onion rings were crispy and not cooked in old oil. Burgers and French dip were delicious. Kids liked their meals. Waitstaff was busy because it was football day (looked like every game was on and the TV's were labeled with who was playing who) but attentive and food was still fast. They had plenty of room for us and it was a birthday celebration for a couple of the people in the group; the wait staff brought a chocolate lava cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
