VERY UNPROFESSIONAL HERE!!! Don't send your food back if you get something here cause you'll still get charged for it. Im a server and im not the one to get on here and complain.. but I got a chicken avocado sandwich here and send it back after ONE BITE cause the chicken was 100% under cook cause it was still pink and hard to bite into.. I brought it back after one bite out of it. I even had my boyfriend take a look and said it was completely undercook just to make sure I wasn't wrong because I usually feel bad taking food back. I did end up getting something else to replace the one I returned cause I was a little bothered with the chicken to ask them remake it so I got something else. Well the server come back and says she can't take off my previous meal cause she doesn't have the power to take it off my bill (WHERE IS THE MANAGER OR THE PERSON IN CHARGE THAT CAN????) to so she didn't charge me for my one cocktail out of the two I got. Mind you the meal I order and returned was $14/$15 and my drink was $6/$7... Anyway I ended up asking for the check and was upset right away because I pretty much had to pay for both of the meals and it already had a $10.99 gratuity tip on it.... How is this okay? The server dropped off the check and didn't say ONE word ( LIKE, thank you, or I'm sorry for what happened) and walked away so quick, probably because she knew she already had her tip and didn't need to do much more like a bad and unprofessional server would do... They couldn't even remake my meal I returned since I pretty much was still gonna get charged for it so I can take it home or offer something else to take... I'm pretty upset, spent $60 and they couldn't even try to make thing better for my time there and the money I was spending there.. Let's just say my family and I will NOT be coming back. Very unsatisfied and will share this experience with others. Oh and when I went in to get another drink while waiting for my new meal to come out, I could hear the server telling the cook about my chicken sandwich and I could hear from the cook, "what the f***." I can't bring myself to lower than 5 star because there is nothing to complain about. Came for breakfast on a Saturday about 10am. Place was dead except for tourney that was on the golf course. Ordered classic breakfast and coffee (see pics). M had meat lovers omelette and iced tea. Everything was cooked just right, even my elusive over medium eggs. I don't know why other places have difficulty wit over med. fruit was ripe, rye toasted nicely and bacon crispy. Cute duck hung out by the door. Bartender/ server was very friendly. Never tried this place until recently, and I literally live right by it. I enjoyed my experience and company I was with. Our group of ladies decided to eat on the patio, and the weather was perfect. I enjoyed my scenery and cooler weather. I ordered the chicken wrap and it was huge. We were told since it was a Tuesday, that tacos were only 1.50 all day all acarte. Rice and beans were included, some ladies ordered that, and it was fabulously delicious. I would come again. And perhaps try some yummy tacos on a Tuesday. read more

I've been looking for a good breakfast joint in STV for sometime now. Stopped by this morning around 9AM and found we were the only ones dining. Lots of golfers stopped in to chat with the staff &/or grab some drinks for the course. We didn't have high hopes but boy were my husband and I pleasantly surprised. Very decent prices, the food was hot, fresh & absolutely delicious. The server greated us with a smile every time she came to our table. Hands down our new fav breakfast joint. Have been to the restaurant three times, twice for Taco Tuesdays and once for a pancake breakfast. Service has been great. Staff is friendly, helpful, and keeps drinks filled. Restaurant is very clean and has great mountain views outside. The covered patio has misters and fans to keep customers cool. Tacos are very good and offered with lots of toppings. Pancakes were very big and tasted great. Looking forward to trying more items! read more

I can't believe we've lived in Johnson Ranch and just recently decided to try The Terrace. I'm giving four stars for the service, location, and Bloody Marys! Earlier reviews mentioned bad service but they seemed to have stepped up their game because the service was excellent during both of our visits. We have visited The Terrace for both dinner and breakfast and the food was decent both times. Sitting on the patio for breakfast on a spring morning is wonderful though. We will definitely be making this one of our regular visits when we don't feel like going far but want to get out of the house. See you there! read more

The food is nothing special, typical Dishes you find in many American restaurants like frozen burgers, greasy fish and chips, etc. The Friday night BBQ is alright except for the self serve part... stand in line for your food, stand in line for your drinks... but please, leave a tip. Live music is hit and miss... if the "reformed" convict is playing you'll get to hear his whole life story in between his songs while he breathes his cigarette smoke at your dinner. read more

This place is hopeless. They have a captive audience who lives around the golf course and wants to eat there. It has become almost TOTALLY self-service. You go to a bar/station to order and pay and they will bring it to your table. Tonight, they had one bartender inside...who also was taking and SERVING orders! We have been here many many times for breakfast and a few times for dinners. Atmosphere is fantastic, hands down for outdoor dining experience. Place is clean, we have never had any issues with wait staff. Decent prices, very affordable. I took off 1 star for consistency in food prep from the kitchen. Sometimes potatoes are hard for breakfast or they won't have chorizo for the breakfast burrito or sauce for the eggs benedict. When you go because you have a taste for something, it's hard to switch gears as your mouth is watering for something. Atmosphere and an open mind to switch gears on a menu item keeps us coming back. read more

I love meeting there with my friends to enjoy some beer and have their tacos on Tuesdays. When the weather cools down, I'll also go there on Fridays for the BBQ Ribs delicious! I can't believe all the good ratings...are they employees? This is absolutely the worst place I have ever eaten. I must say I have not been here for breakfast, so cannot comment on that. I used to tell my friends the dinner could not get worse....but it did. The service used to be really bad- but now they have NO servers....it is now serve yourself bad, overpriced food. The place is run down-check out the bathrooms- dirty and hot water broken in womens bathroom for over a month now. I would not recommend the Terrace to anyone! read more

Very good food but service is very slow sometime. I would recommend them if you're not in a terrible hurry or you're starving. Other then that, the atmosphere is very nice and they offer live music on the weekends. Taco Tuesday is our favorite! read more

Service was really good, casual atmosphere, serving size was adequate. My husband ordered the Jack Daniels brisket and flavor was good, they gave him a lot of it but you could tell it was not fresh, warmed up from another night possibly. I had the Jack Daniels pulled pork sandwich and it was good, could have used more sauce but flavor was decent. The Parmesan garlic fries where tasty too. I've had a couple of orders, but the chorizo breakfast burrito is hands down my top choice..stuffed with meat, potatoes, egg, tomato, and cheese.
