One of the owners decorates trees every month - A Christmas tree is decorated with Lucky Charms cereal boxes, plush leprechaun cutouts, and various ornaments, including white and orange flowers, green ribbons, and glittery gold accents. The tree is illuminated with green lights and is positioned against a beige wall, with a black-and-white horse portrait visible nearby.

I had a Reuben tonight it was delicious! It came with fries. My husband likes the ham salad sandwich . Their soups are good as well. Service is quick, always with a friendly smile! They have many southwestern pictures on the wall. Relax atmosphere .

A foam takeout container holds two fried eggs with runny yolks, a piece of cooked steak, and two small plastic containers of sauce. The eggs are positioned next to the steak, which appears well-cooked with a dark exterior. The sauces are in clear containers with lids, placed at the top of the container. The meal is served in a disposable container, typical for takeout food.

The food was absolutely delicious! Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Great portions and excellent quality. I'll definitely be coming back. This restaurant exceeded my expectations. The food was outstanding--from the appetizers to the main course, everything was rich in flavor and perfectly seasoned. Portions were generous, and the presentation was impressive. You can really tell they care about quality and taste. I'll absolutely return and recommend it to others.

The onion is still crunchy and they are never greasy. This time I shared the Steak & Cheese sandwich as well. Wow! That is huge and delicious! No way I could eat a full one on my own. The meat was so tender with American cheese, onions, mushrooms and green peppers. My only adjustment would be lighter on the peppers and a little more mushrooms. The place is clean and friendly. Don't let the Mesa strip mall keep you away. After eating, check out the produce market across the street for some great deals!

Empanadas were very tasty, especially with the Caribbean flavor. Crust was flaky, filling was perfect amount and not dry like so many are. Then let's add the homemade sauce...oh ya, so good! The chicken tenders were so moist. The breading is the same as the onion rings, very light and airy with the perfect amount of salt. Onion rings are the best I have ever eaten. Homemade, full rings, with just a little crunch, your choice of dipping sauce. Another couple stated they eat at The Public Grill 2 times a week trying different items each time. They said "the homemade food is delicious every time." Service is outstanding. 1 server at lunch time, 2 at dinner. 3 people in the back. Amazing part, the owner also helps with serving if needed. The restaurant is very clean. Not many tables, may have a little wait. However, it's worth it!

We came in with our family and three kids and sat on the patio since we were a larger group. After eating, our kids were sitting in chairs near our table, chatting and moving around a bit. They weren't being loud or disruptive, but a nearby a couple clearly seemed upset. The woman was shaking her head and saying to the waitress "this isn't okay to be doing while people are eating", pointing toward our kids. Once I realized this, I immediately called my kids back over and had them sit with us, and I even let her know that if something was bothering her, she could've told us and I would have addressed it right away. The couple chose to ignore us and left shortly after. The manager then came out and reassured us that Lucky Lou's is a family-friendly restaurant and that our kids were absolutely fine. That meant a lot to us and really showed how supportive and understanding the staff is. I also hope one day that couple realizes how hard it is to keep a 4-, 6-, and 8-year-old sitting at a table for more than 30 minutes without shoving an iPad in front of them. On top of that, the service was excellent, the atmosphere was welcoming, and I honestly had the best burger and tater tots of my life. We'll definitely be back--thank you for creating such a kid-friendly and enjoyable place for families!

The queso was rich without being too heavy, and the mustard added a nice contrast. For my meal, I had the Caesar salad topped with a bistro steak cooked a perfect medium rare. The romaine was crisp, the garlic-anchovy dressing bold, and the garlic croutons and parmesan tied everything together. The steak was tender, flavorful, and elevated the salad. At the table, we also ordered the cheesesteak with Angus beef, roasted peppers and onions, Havarti cheese, and garlic aioli served on a baguette, with sweet potato fries. The sandwich was hearty and satisfying, and the fries were really good The wagyu burger was another standout--topped bacon, Gruyère and smoky blue cheese, caramelized onions, tomato jam, and garlic aioli on a pub bun. The beef and bacon were fabulous and the fries cooked to perfection Jake, our server, was terrific--attentive, friendly, and helped make the whole experience even better. We finished with the butterscotch bread pudding topped with vanilla gelato and caramel sauce, which was the perfect ending--warm, comforting, and just the right amount of sweetness Overall, a great patio dining experience with flavorful dishes, excellent service, and plenty of variety.

Mason was on point with all aspects of service, he was attentive, welcoming, and really made us feel at home. I was also impressed with the new bartender whose name I didn't catch but it was her first night and I would have never known unless she told me. She was friendly personable and slinging drinks like she'd been there for a while. Great job to both of them! As for the food, it was phenomenal as expected but a special call out needs to be made for the butterscotch bread pudding. It was complementary for my birthday and I probably would have never tried it before but it turned out to be the best bread pudding I've had in ages. So tender and sweet delicious!! 5 stars. Highly recommend!

The restaurant and outdoor entertainment complex is huge and has a really fun, energetic vibe. According to the bartender, they have ping-pong, pickleball, and a big upstairs outdoor patio with amazing views of Tempe and the surrounding area. There's also a large parking lot, lots of outdoor seating, and even a dog park area, which makes it really easy to spend time here. The bartenders and wait staff were very friendly. Azbel was a great server. I had the bistro steak and fries and the Szechuan lettuce wraps, and both were really good. Portions were generous. During late-night happy hour my total was about $55 for a main entrée, an appetizer, a cocktail, and tip, which felt like a great deal. I was pleasantly surprised that happy hour runs every day Monday through Sunday from 3-6 PM and again from 8 PM to close. I also checked out the event venue on site, and it looks like it would be a great place for a company party, corporate event, or group gathering. I'll definitely be returning in the near future.

The Service was "electric" for us as we were celebrating a birthday at the table during lunch. It was too Hot for us to do pickleball, but they do have a fully shaded area that had people playing outside ~105 degrees. As for the food, we had the Fish & Chips with a Mahi Mahi Slaw & Fries, the Ahi Poke Tacos which come in Wonton shells. Hot Honey and Sausage Pizza was great. The Barbacoa Nachos had all the right ingredients & the Double Smash Burger had only some "fancy sauce" on the plate. The Tempura Green Bean, can't remember who ordered, but were good with the chipotle ranch sauce. With me, I'm all about the cocktails, so I treated myself to both the Froze Margarita & the Chi Chi. They call them spiked slushes, I call them "heaven sent" during the Arizona Summer. All of the food was a hit for the table and my family understood why I suggested EP for lunch! I said our Server was "electric" and that's because they made our experience very enjoyable. It was appreciated and I will return again for lunch and pickleball (in the evenings) during the hot summer!

My friend, who is not a seafood person, ordered the NY strip, and it was excellent: well seasoned and cooked perfectly. I had the soft-shell crab roll as a smaller main course. It arrived noticeably after my friend's steak, but the restaurant handled it beautifully. They comped it without us asking, and the manager came over to chat with us. He was delightful and circled back again at the end of the evening. Between the beautiful patio, excellent food, and genuinely friendly staff, Buck & Rider made my birthday dinner feel special. We had a fantastic evening.
