Atmosphere 5/5 This restaurant is a gem, well appointed, great colors that give a vibe of warm spaces and class. This isn't your corner-chain breakfast joint. Service 6/5 From the greeter to the servers your visit experience is elevated by their attentiveness. Food 8/5 Let me begin by saying this restaurant has a great menu with selections that are rare at this price point, skillfully prepared and a great value! Everyone in our party of six was pleasantly impressed with their selections. The recipes are great and the Kitchen here does an outstanding job getting fresh hot dishes to the table quickly. I had the Spinach, Bacon omelette; and country potatoes; outstanding! A splash of the house private label hot cause was a great touch. My wife enjoyed her Denver omelette with toast. The Caption enjoyed his Delicious French toast, Kelly had crepes and Jim enjoyed the Crab cake eggs Benedict and said they were delicious as were my unique SW eggs Benedict my previous visit. Took my daughters to lunch today to celebrate my oldest getting her braces on & figured Crackers & Co would be the best possible spot. We arrived around 12, and had a 20 minute wait (no problem). Our waitress was a bit strange. Definitely out of the ordinary for this restaurant.... The girls ordered the 1/3 pound cheeseburgers, I got the crispy chicken melt. The food came out surprisingly quick considering how busy it was. The girls enjoyed their burgers, but we did notice that there was only a minuscule portion of thousand island on the bun... Nobody wants a dry burger, do they? we asked for more sauce for the burgers since there was hardly any there and we were charged...... My sandwich was terrible.... The chicken pieces were small and had no flavor. There was very little sauce on the sandwich & the avocado was nearly black. &The fries did not taste fresh either. Then, to my surprise, I chomped down on this enormous hard piece in my sandwich.... I spit it out right away and noticed I bit down on a massive bone chip.... It definitely hurt my tooth!! The girls and I both saw this giant chunk & instantly lost our appetites. I am so grateful that I did not choke on this thing or break my tooth. I've never seen anything like this. We asked for the check and got the heck out of there. I am extremely disappointed. This has always been one of my favorite spots, since childhood. I realized the other day that I've been coming to Crackers & Co. for about 9 years now, and honestly, they never miss. It's one of those rare spots that has stayed consistently great the entire time I've been a regular. ​Whether you're stopping in for breakfast or lunch, you really can't go wrong. Their coffee is always solid--which is a huge plus for me--and the food actually tastes like someone's grandma is in the back making it from scratch. The menu has a ton of variety, but everything feels high-quality and fresh, not like some of the greasy spoon alternatives nearby. ​What keeps me coming back (besides the food) is the service. The staff is always genuinely friendly and they move fast, even when it's packed. Plus, in a time where prices everywhere else are getting out of hand, their prices are still really reasonable for the portion sizes you get. ​If you're looking for a reliable, local gem with a great vibe and even better food, this is the spot. I see this place everytime I pass by and remind myself to give this place a try. I know it has been here for a while. Sunday 9 am no wait and we got sat right away. The monthly special menu looked pretty good and items on the menu sounded pretty good. Ordered country fried steak and biscuits and gravy. Country fried steak was extra add on for $3.99 which made the dish with biscuit and gravy with 2 eggs, potatoes for $17.98. Also ordered the special red chicken chilli tamale special. The food took longer than average which wasn't a huge deal. Got my country steak and disappointed that it was on the small side.. I mean I understand it was $3.99 upgrade. Potato.... Well I am assuming it's suppose to be like home style potato or some sort but it tasted like boiled and sliced potatoes, no crunchiness or fried texture. Potato also had no flavor at all, no salt no seasoning of any sort. Now to my country fried steak even though it was on the small side flavor was actually pretty good. I don't know why they serve the CFS on top of the biscuit. Not only does it cause the biscuit to taste more soggy when you get down to it, I had half of biscuit left with no gravy to eat it with. I was tempted to get extra gravy to finish off the biscuit but never got the chance, since our waitress never came by to check how the food was. The tamale was not too bad, it was moist but lacked in flavor little bit. Over all food was OK, nothing special. I'm glad I had the chance to try this place finally, but I won't be coming back here. The wife and I have driven by this place for a long time but never ventured in. Well, we finally did and glad we did. The atmosphere feels like an old home town restaurant. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Let's get to it. The wife got the southwest chorizo carnitas skillet. She really enjoyed it. It was delicious and tasty and she liked the tomatillo sauce. I got the traditional breakfast with eggs, ham and potatoes and a side of 1 pancake. Can we talk about the ham? It wasn't small! I have had ham at other places and it was more like ham for a sandwich. Not here! A thick ham steak, grilled! The potatoes were very good and the pancake tasted good. I had my normal French toast, eggs and crispy I said to the food server that the French toast was a little little earlier than normal and they threw us extra two pieces on the side. I guess that's all you have to do is say something which someone should've caught it in the back of the house, but I'm OK with this! Great service as usual read more

My boyfriend and I came here for the first time and enjoyed the whole experience! We were greeted right away and they took us to a table w/ no issues. Our waitress, Amber, came by rightaway--super sweet and suggested some of her favorite dishes. Not gonna lie I was little overwhelmed as their menu is pretty big but I decided to get the Greek omelette and my bf ordered the Ultimate Omelette. Both dishes super tasty! I haven't eaten an omelette with that much flavor in a while! Also the ambience was quaint, we felt like we were at grandmas house lol. Very clean and cute, plenty of space. We both ordered coffee it was ok and for dessert the bread pudding is a must-try! Mmmm. The carrot cake was ok but I wouldn't order it again--had a weird flavor. Ordered the California eggs Benedict with potatoes and side of sausage gravy. Server and kitchen got order correction I asked for no tomato or spinach on the Benedict, and to make sure eggs were poached over easy because most of the time, the poached eggs here are overdone. Flavor good on everything, but the issue is, 100% of the time we eat here, food is brought out lukewarm. The food came out relatively quickly after we ordered, so I don't think it was a matter of the plate sitting too long, but rather that the food is just not ever heated enough. read more

First time visiting Crackers &Co Cafe. I usually have the traditional breakfast when eating out but this time I went with their breakfast monthly special "crackers sausage skillet". Included Hatch chili sausage, sautéed onions, red bell peppers, touch of spinach and Hatch green chiles. Served over crackers country potatoes topped with Havarti cheese and choice of 2 eggs made to order and choice of bread $16.99. Picked up the spicy chicken tortilla soup at Cracker's & Co. and it was really good! It had chicken, black beans, corn, green chilis, tomato, and onion--they warned it was spicy. The person taking my order made sure to say it is spicy. I thought it had just the right amount of spice. There were tortilla crisps on top and sour cream. So good! read more

I ordered soup and a half. I selected the beef vegetable soup and chicken salad on rye. Well the soup was barely warm and not chef quality. It definitely looked like yesterday leftovers, no homemade flavor in the broth, the small beef chunks were mostly gristle and the only fresh vegetables were the potatoes that were like an inch square!! The chicken salad was good, half a sandwich on a plate with no garnish. I probably wouldn't go back for lunch. read more

This is a small cafe that offers breakfast and lunch options. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich and sweet potato fries. I think the waitress was having a rough day. She put in for a side of fruit instead of the fries. She quickly got the fries to me when I mentioned it. I then overheard that she put the wrong pancake order in for the table next to us too. We hadn't been back to Crackers in over 10 years. During that time, I wished we could go again as we remembered that we had some great breakfasts there. This recent trip we made it over there. The Phoenix area has had a lot of growth during our absence and it was readily apparent when we showed up at Crackers on a rainy weekday at 11:30 a.m. We were told there would be a 25 minute wait. It never was like that in the past. When we got seated, we were given a two top. Our server was friendly but scatter-brained. We both got the 222 breakfast which consists of two eggs any style, bacon or sausage and 2 pancakes. The kitchen was slow---understandable given how busy the place was. While waiting for our food, we noticed that there were no condiments on the table. When we got our server's attention, he did bring some over. When our food arrived, our server tried to give it to a table near us. They told them it wasn't theirs. He figured out it was ours. The food was okay this time but it didn't seem as special as it used to be---just run of the mill. In the past, we would go to Crackers at least 2 or 3 times during the week we visited. Then when we asked the server for our check, it took him a very long time to get it to us. When he approached our table, it was to try to give us a credit card that belonged to the people whom he tried to give them our food. SMH We don't regret going simply because we would have found ourselves longing to try it again. Now that we did go back, we don't plan to return again. read more

I ordered the New Princess omelet which has chunks of chicken, bacon, mushroom and broccoli stuffed with cream cheese and topped with hollandaise sauce with side potatoes. I haven't had breakfast potatoes like these before and they were delicious and crispy. The omelet supposedly has chunks of chicken but the bacon was mostly the protein. There were very small amounts of broccoli as well. It was topped with too much hollandaise sauce and it was like to hide the lack of chicken and broccoli. First time last time. Service and ambiance gets 4 stars as the place has a nice look and the employees were great. Also menu is very promising and makes everything sound wonderful. Too bad not the case as most all of our food was cold and not as ordered. Asked for mayo on the side and bacon not overly cooked and both were ignored. Potatoes and eggs both cold bread used in breakfast sandwich stale and tasteless. Hoped for better results but will not be on my list for breakfast places. At more exceptional restaurants the meat has been in the middle with more of a portion of meat, not cooked in with eggs. Service also disappointed, had to wait about 10 minutes to first get served coffee and water, the waiter had a long explanation of an excuse. Higher prices then other neighboring restaurants. They have omelets that have a healthy balance of egg and other ingredients. The pancakes are light and well sized . The coffee is great. Prices; decent considering the times . Love visiting for lunch time and getting the pick two option. The baked potato soup is quite literally they best I've ever had- and I've tried a ton of potato soups! My favorite sandwich is the simple tuna or BLT that both come fully loaded on deliciously buttered sourdough. They can customize most sandwiches, so the sky is the limit. We were checked in and sat quickly with a very pleasant server. There is a super cute patio area during the fall and spring months and ample parking in front or around the side. My lady and I tried Crackers for breakfast for the first time and we came away impressed! She selected bacon, eggs, house potatoes, toast and coffee. I had a hamburger steak, eggs, house potatoes and an iced tea. I tend to like beef more towards rare/medium rare and the cook nailed it to perfection for me! Sandy our server was super friendly and on top of everything while managing multiple tables simultaneously. She checked on us several times and we never had to ask for drink refills once as she had it covered. Thanks Sandy! Also, the noise level was average as there were several tables that had families with children but it was still easy to hold a conversation. Our bill came out to a bit over $30 which included tip. Both my lady and I had leftovers and took them home and enjoyed another meal that evening. So, $30 for four meals, not too bad! Saw positive recommendations for this place, so stopped in with my friends and gave it a try! So glad we did! The place is located in a small shopping area with plenty of parking. They restaurant has plenty of comfortable indoor and outdoor seating (although near-ish to a major road so a little loud. Highly recommend screens or larger plant life to create a more private and intimate outdoor space). We were greeted immediately upon entering with a friendly smile and seated. Our server made us feel so welcome and treated us like we've been going here for years. Love that! So pleasant and genuine! The food: phenomenal! It's not fancy, but really good food doesn't need to be. This is home cooked feel at its finest! If you want a robust tasty breakfast or brunch without pretension or conversely the feel of a greasy spoon...GO NOW!!! The waffles were light and crispy (the warm triple berry topping was delicious). But I have to say the breakfast potatoes were AMAZING!!! Those alone make we want to go back and eat them just by themselves! So good! We sat on the patio with our dog. Greenfield Road is a raceway! And so loud. Aside from that, the patio is nice. Our server was so nice and friendly and attentive. Our brunches were great.
