I came here for their Restaurant week special after floating the Salt River with my Wife. The first word is WOW We both got the $55 (3-course) meal and we decided to get different things to try everything we could. I got: Brie bites Sea bass entree Pumpkin crème brulee dessert My wife got: Crab cake Short rib entree Pumpkin crème brûlée dessert Rich was our server and he was very prompt and attentive. We didn't have to wait long for food, drinks or our check/to go boxes. We got the non alcoholic drink with prickly pear and pineapple- fantastic mocktail recipe! It reminded me of a perfect refreshing drink for end of summer, beginning of fall. Smooth and subtle pineapple. I have to be honest the sea bass was probably the best sea bass I have tried. 100/10 so flavorful and adding a squeeze of lemon was a hit! I would definitely some back here. We went on a long paddleboard down the river and were quite hungry by the time we finished, so we took some friends up on their recommendation for Red White & Brew--and we are SO glad we did! I ordered the GF Marinated Chicken Sandwich with sweet potato fries and an extra side of their pesto mayo... aka heaven on a plate! The sandwich comes with balsamic-marinated grilled chicken, roasted red pepper, fresh mozzarella, **toasted GF Udi's bun, and pesto mayo. The toasted bun was a great touch, or else it would have likely fallen apart! Every bite was absolute perfection! Our server was fantastic and so attentive to my gluten-free needs. She made sure everything was GF, and I believe she even mentioned that they have a dedicated fryer, which was such a comforting bonus! The only hard part about dining here was the complimentary bread that arrives at your table when you sit down. It looked and smelled absolutely delightful... but sadly, it wasn't gluten-free. Thankfully, my meal made up for it in leaps and bounds! We are DEFINITELY adding Red White & Brew to our rotation! This was our GO TO place for the past 15 years. At some point the owner sold and since then things have slowly changed. Recently the restaurant has been remodeled. There used to be a few low tables in the bar that were very comfortable and now they have been replaced with Hi-Top tables. My feet dangle and fall asleep, the foot bar is very low and out of reach. My husband had the same problem and he is taller than me. The stools at the bar looked a little easier to reach. There are low tables in the dining room. We have returned three times since the remodel and just find both the atmosphere and the food are not what we were used to. Maybe it is just us. The food was just okay and the red velvet cake was very dry. The bread didn't have the garlic flavor that we love and it was pale and a bit undercooked. Went back there for a second time this time around ordered the AZ burger and all-American burger. I got mine medium rare. My girlfriend got hers medium both came out exactly the way we ordered them and they were delicious. The service was great punctual make sure we had enough to drink and checked up on us several times got the evening. The ambience was good little music in the background and just your normal room chatter. Definitely looking forward to going back and trying something different. read more

Yum!! Super busy location there is plenty of parking if you get there early enough you may even luck out with parking out front. Great staff there our waitress joked around with us and made us smile. The food was very good and came in big portions. We had mussels, burgers and liver with onions and all hot the spot. Update from June 2026: I visited RWB today for Father's Day and we ordered the 18" pizza. Before ordering we asked the waitress if we did half cheese and half 4 topping pizza whether they would charge for half a cheese and half a 4 topping pizza price. She said she would adjust it because their system doesn't price it fairly when doing half and half. When the bill came it was an extra dollar than a 4 item pizza. I paid for the bill but wanted the waitress to know for feedback purposes and she had said she helped me out as normally doing half and half cost $10 more. I was shocked because again, half the pizza was plain cheese and we ended up paying more for this than a 4 item pizza! The pizza without tax and tip was $29.50... keep in mind a 4 topping pizza is $28.50. So be aware when ordering pizza from red white and brew that their ordering system for pizza overcharges and apparently if I hadn't mentioned anything before ordering it would have been over $1! And yes the picture with my review shows the half with cheese was larger and that's how it was in person too. The chicken Florentine was so delicious! I will definitely order this again. The side of sweet potato fries were perfect and delicious. The portion was enough for leftovers, so that's a plus. The complimentary bread is always delicious and so nice to have something to munch on while we wait for food, especially with kids. I normally would rate RWB a 5 star but due to the way they charge pizza, I have to take away a star for this visit. read more

We had a lovely time on the patio here. We shared the vegan ravioli dish and omg it was so amazing! The raviolis were huge and filled with a mix of slow cooked vegetables. We have lived in this area for over 6 years. We knew about this place but never went because we always passed it off as a generic blah sports bar with mediocre food like a Zipps, or similar. We ate there tonight, and had the prix fix menu for restaurant week. Food was excellent. Service was excellent. Wow. The name belies what this place truly is. Quality food and a nice atmosphere. After shooting at Rio Salado, our group of guys stopped in for lunch. The restaurant is modern, big, and clean. The hostesses were organized and got us seated quickly. The service was attentive early and we ordered a couple burgers and fish and chips. The server was very clear about what the burger temps were. Medium was to be pink throughout. I had a whiskey and they served it with a clear cube. The food came out in a reasonable period of time. My burger was ordered medium but was cooked to death and dry. Unfortunately the server did not return to see how our food was. This cost the fifth star. The fries were really good. The fish and chips tasted great. read more

I took my Mom here for lunch today. I was looking forward to trying the Sea Bass Cheeks. I used to come out here frequently years ago for the Halibut Cheeks, and they were one of my favorites things! The Sea Bass Cheeks were good, but not as sweet and succulent as the Halibut. We also brought home the new roasted pear appetizer, and a Beet and Peach salad for my wife. She loved the salad! I liked the new look to the restaurant, and the service was very good. I will not wait so long to return. There's several more dishes I want to try. I just wish it wasn't 25+ miles away. I did find out they have other restaurants in town. There's a Blue 32 that's much closer to me, so I will certainly give them a try soon. read more

It's been a while since I updated this place. We usually really enjoy this place, we have been here quite a few times. This time, nearly everything was not so good. I ordered the seared salmon (over spiced) and my wife ordered the New York strip had a ton of season and was super salty and the potatoes were cold. 1st. They asked if we wanted bread. Sure. Our server brought out some cold bread and was not very good. 2nd. My side was a Cesar Salad, Strangely this was very warm. Warm salad. Didn't eat it, but our server didn't even ask if there was an issue with it, she just took it away. 3rd. We sat close to the kitchen so we could see our order come up. It was nice and steamy and hot. It sat there for about 3-4 minutes before our server decided to bring this out. Another worker just stood there looking at our food...clueless to help someone and run it to us. I almost went up and got it myself. Service - there could not have been a more inattentive server we ever experienced. There is too much to even write in this space. Zero stars. I'm think a little change in the menu is long over due. The bigger issue was, it was not busy at all, so good service shouldn't be that hard. read more

I had the Penne Pasta with a side salad for my entree & it was delicious! Big serving, so I took the rest of my pasta home for another meal. I also had a slice of carrot cake for dessert. We visit regularly because they make us feel like family - especially Natalie, who Is the bartender there. Natalie never forgets a special occasion and because of that our Saturday lunch crew celebrates each of the regulars birthdays. In a world where we don't always feel seen or welcome, it's rare to find someone like her who makes you feel important and special. And as I said they have great food! I really didn't want to write this review however if I don't I feel like it will go unaddressed. We showed up at 7:00 p.m. which is after the dinner rush for the senior citizens that always eat there so it was fairly quiet. I really wanted the chicken parm Stromboli but decided to go with the chicken parm over linguine. As soon as the plate hit the table I could see the watery sauce sloshing. I tip the plate towards myself and the linguine was so poorly drained and by that time the waitress came back and said would you like me to take your plate back to the kitchen so they could drain your pasta again? I'm replied no I don't send food back and ended up breaking up all of the bread left over at the table to soak up the water. Sad part was the chicken parm had good flavor but the sauce on the chicken parm itself was thick like paste and somewhat lacking in flavor while the pasta underneath had no sauce and simply watered down tomato. You should be sending that out with the same marinara sauce that you send out with the Stromboli. That's the only way that dish is successful and please for the love of God teach the cook how to drain pasta. It's like cooking 101, like boiling water or making a hard boiled egg. Cooking and draining pasta should not be so difficult. Do better next time please we'll definitely be back. We like the food but that was a horrible experience yesterday. read more

I have enjoyed all my visits here. The food is very good. This time I was meeting family for an early lunch. We started with the bacon-wrapped stuffed figs which were very good. I had the Asian Chicken salad. The chicken on top was crispy and the salad was good but over-dressed. So the lettuce was soggy. It may have been sitting for a bit before they served it. Part of the appeal of an Asian salad is the crunch, so I was a bit disappointed. Next time I will ask for the dressing on the side. The custom pizza was very good, and I love that they will split a wedge salad for two people - because it's a big serving! The garlic bread is very good as well. The salads my table had looked amazing. I was immediately regretting that I did not get a salad. One had the Cobb salad, I was salivating looking at it. The peach and beet was good but really sweet. The halibut fillet sandwich. Ehhhhh it's good but not the best fish sandwich I've had. I definitely wouldn't order that again. The sweet potato fries were really yummy Bread sticks were very good, got some to take to my son FYI: if you don't like the smell of seafood, do not eat here. I like seafood but the restaurant is open to the kitchen and my guest was disgusted the entire lunch because she hates seafood. We went out here from Tempe to celebrate birthdays. The restaurant was very busy with a casual vibe and no loud music playing . The menu was very diverse. Our server was very friendly and did a great job. The portions were very large and we all took home food for another meal,,,at least. I had New England Clam chowder and Chicken Marsala. I've lived in the neighborhood for 22 years and never left a review? Time to fix that. It's probably the best restaurant nearby making consistently good food. Their regular menu is fairly diverse but we almost always order off the specials menu. My husband and I like to come in and order a fish dish to split from the specials menu. Our all-time favorite is the halibut cheeks with drawn butter. The price has been steadily climbing over the years but that's inflation for you. I believe they fly their fish in and they're good quality fillets. Last night we shared an Asiago/herb crusted halibut fillet baked in scampi butter. What we like about sharing is they'll do the split for free: the entree is a generous size for sharing and it comes with the special side plus one side of your choice which they'll split for you. For an extra fee you can each get a full portion of those sides. You can't mention Red, White and Brew without talking about their famous complimentary garlic breadsticks. Those things are pretty much the best I've had anywhere and you can eat your fill of them. So yeah, splitting an entree gives us more than enough food. Service here is always attentive. One thing you'll find every day is a crowd though, so try to get your name on Waitlist to save time. read more

This local Mesa restaurant seems to have everything in order: good and freshly made food, they don't skimp on portion size, they have a friendly service staff, and attentive management. You never see the staff just standing around, you never see dirty floors, you never see unhappy customers. It is just a nice decent place to enjoy a meal with friends and family and is always pretty busy so it is best to call ahead and get your name on the "wait list". Oh, I also have to say they make their own dough and that is why their Pizza and their dinner garlic bread sticks are great, heck, the breadsticks are even complimentary with whatever you order. read more

Visited Red White and Brew after a full day tubing down the Salt River for my friends birthday. We walked in and were greeted by the hostess who sat us promptly. Our waiter came over and grabbed our drink order and dropped off some garlic bread. The place was a pretty cool restaurant with brick walls along one side of the room and a view into the kitchen. I ordered the Meat Stromboli, and my friends ordered the Crispy Chicken Sandwich and Fettuccine w/steak added. We also received a complimentary desert as it was my friend's birthday. Natalie the bartender during the day is awesome and is amazing at remembering people's favorite item's to order and creating a great friendly atmosphere to be in.
