Yum!! Super busy location there is plenty of parking if you get there early enough you may even luck out with parking out front. Great staff there our waitress joked around with us and made us smile. The food was very good and came in big portions. We had mussels, burgers and liver with onions and all hot the spot. The restaurant seems like a local favorite the staff and some of the guests seemed to know each other, regulars? Love the atmosphere and the food. We will definitely be back!

Description of the vegan ravioli. Delicious!!
Lori A.

We had a lovely time on the patio here. We shared the vegan ravioli dish and omg it was so amazing! The raviolis were huge and filled with a mix of slow cooked vegetables. They were topped with a fresh and flavorful marinara sauce and broccoli florets. We had the garlic sautéed spinach with it which paired perfectly. All delicious and super healthy too! Our server was very busy, but she as still very attentive and friendly.

After shooting at Rio Salado, our group of guys stopped in for lunch. The restaurant is modern, big, and clean. The hostesses were organized and got us seated quickly. The service was attentive early and we ordered a couple burgers and fish and chips. The server was very clear about what the burger temps were. Medium was to be pink throughout. I had a whiskey and they served it with a clear cube. The food came out in a reasonable period of time. My burger was ordered medium but was cooked to death and dry. Unfortunately the server did not return to see how our food was. This cost the fifth star. The fries were really good. The fish and chips tasted great.

I took my Mom here for lunch today. I was looking forward to trying the Sea Bass Cheeks. I used to come out here frequently years ago for the Halibut Cheeks, and they were one of my favorites things! The Sea Bass Cheeks were good, but not as sweet and succulent as the Halibut. We also brought home the new roasted pear appetizer, and a Beet and Peach salad for my wife. She loved the salad! I liked the new look to the restaurant, and the service was very good. I will not wait so long to return. There's several more dishes I want to try. I just wish it wasn't 25+ miles away. I did find out they have other restaurants in town. There's a Blue 32 that's much closer to me, so I will certainly give them a try soon.

Complementary garlic bread

I love Red, White and Brew! It's probably our go to local restaurant when my family has a special occasion to celebrate. While dining out can be pricey these days, one thing I appreciate about Red white and Brew is that their portion size are generous compared to many other places, especially if I am paying over $20 for a meal, I expect leftovers. At Red White and Brew I usually get them when I am ordering pasta or stromboli entrees. On my recent visit, I ordered the eggplant Parmesan with sweet potato fries as my side, and a friend had the avocado Caprese salad. I don't usually go for eggplant Parmesan, but Red White and Brew version is the best, thanks to the generous amount of cheese, ricotta, and spinach they include. I asked if I could substitute the red sauce for a pink sauce, and the waitress said yes. However, I was a bit annoyed when I saw a two dollar extra charge on the bill for the substitution, especially since I wasn't informed about it when ordering. Well two dollars isn't a huge amount, I feel that any charge for substitutions should be clearly communicated upfront, especially since most restaurants don't charge for this kind of substitution. My friend enjoyed her salad, although $22.50 felt quite expensive for a salad. On the positive note, the complementary bread served when dining is delicious! For dessert, the mud pie cake is fantastic, probably my favorite dessert at any restaurant. It's an ice cream, coffee cake that red white and brew serves when you're celebrating a birthday, which is another reason why we keep coming back for celebration. It's truly delicious. The ambience and food makes for a nice dining experience overall. My only real complaints are the high prices on some entrées, like salad and the undisclosed extra charge for substitutions. Despite these minor issues, I still highly recommend Red White and Brew for its great food.

Grilled salmon with mashed potatoes. Very tasty

It's been a while since I updated this place. We usually really enjoy this place, we have been here quite a few times. This time, nearly everything was not so good. I ordered the seared salmon (over spiced) and my wife ordered the New York strip had a ton of season and was super salty and the potatoes were cold. 1st. They asked if we wanted bread. Sure. Our server brought out some cold bread and was not very good. 2nd. My side was a Cesar Salad, Strangely this was very warm. Warm salad. Didn't eat it, but our server didn't even ask if there was an issue with it, she just took it away. 3rd. We sat close to the kitchen so we could see our order come up. It was nice and steamy and hot. It sat there for about 3-4 minutes before our server decided to bring this out. Another worker just stood there looking at our food...clueless to help someone and run it to us. I almost went up and got it myself. Service - there could not have been a more inattentive server we ever experienced. There is too much to even write in this space. Zero stars. I'm think a little change in the menu is long over due. The bigger issue was, it was not busy at all, so good service shouldn't be that hard.

Came here for Golden Vista Resort & Lost Dutchman residents lunch. Nice place, lots of selections on the menu, really good service, busy ambiance but still able to visit & enjoy while dining. I had the Penne Pasta with a side salad for my entree & it was delicious! Big serving, so I took the rest of my pasta home for another meal. I also had a slice of carrot cake for dessert. Very delicious!! This place is open for breakfast, lunch, &?dinner, by the way. I will return & try other items.

Special salad strawberry chicken

I have enjoyed all my visits here. The food is very good. This time I was meeting family for an early lunch. We started with the bacon-wrapped stuffed figs which were very good. I had the Asian Chicken salad. The chicken on top was crispy and the salad was good but over-dressed. So the lettuce was soggy. It may have been sitting for a bit before they served it. Part of the appeal of an Asian salad is the crunch, so I was a bit disappointed. Next time I will ask for the dressing on the side. The custom pizza was very good, and I love that they will split a wedge salad for two people - because it's a big serving! The garlic bread is very good as well. This was really a 4.5 experience but I rounded up because of the service.

Peach & beet
Amber G.

The salads my table had looked amazing. I was immediately regretting that I did not get a salad. One had the Cobb salad, I was salivating looking at it. The peach and beet was good but really sweet. The halibut fillet sandwich. Ehhhhh it's good but not the best fish sandwich I've had. I definitely wouldn't order that again. The sweet potato fries were really yummy Bread sticks were very good, got some to take to my son FYI: if you don't like the smell of seafood, do not eat here. I like seafood but the restaurant is open to the kitchen and my guest was disgusted the entire lunch because she hates seafood. I will say even as a seafood lover it's a little fishy in here

Susan T.

Awesome all around. Highly recommend! Food was delicious and desserts were magnificent!

Garlic breadsticks - don't ruin your dinner!

I've lived in the neighborhood for 22 years and never left a review? Time to fix that. It's probably the best restaurant nearby making consistently good food. Their regular menu is fairly diverse but we almost always order off the specials menu. My husband and I like to come in and order a fish dish to split from the specials menu. Our all-time favorite is the halibut cheeks with drawn butter. The price has been steadily climbing over the years but that's inflation for you. I believe they fly their fish in and they're good quality fillets. Last night we shared an Asiago/herb crusted halibut fillet baked in scampi butter. What we like about sharing is they'll do the split for free: the entree is a generous size for sharing and it comes with the special side plus one side of your choice which they'll split for you. For an extra fee you can each get a full portion of those sides. You can't mention Red, White and Brew without talking about their famous complimentary garlic breadsticks. Those things are pretty much the best I've had anywhere and you can eat your fill of them. So yeah, splitting an entree gives us more than enough food. Service here is always attentive. One thing you'll find every day is a crowd though, so try to get your name on Waitlist to save time.

Meat Stromboli

Visited Red White and Brew after a full day tubing down the Salt River for my friends birthday. We walked in and were greeted by the hostess who sat us promptly. Our waiter came over and grabbed our drink order and dropped off some garlic bread. The place was a pretty cool restaurant with brick walls along one side of the room and a view into the kitchen. I ordered the Meat Stromboli, and my friends ordered the Crispy Chicken Sandwich and Fettuccine w/steak added. We also received a complimentary desert as it was my friend's birthday. All in all a very cool restaurant and I'd definitely return if I am even out that way again. Possibly next time that we float down the river!

This was Larry's plate. It looked the best at all of them.

Got there at 5 o'clock got seated at 5:30 finally took our order at 6:30. 6 of us. I had the salmon with pilaf rice and mashed potatoes. The salmon when they served it was raw after an hour John had the hamburger the french fries were ice cold David had a steak and it was burnt to a crisp they had to redo it. Kitchen could use a lot of work. Our waiter was trying to be helpful, but it's not much he could do very busy place we went there because everybody said it was a great place. I'll never go back there again. The manager did comp my dinner and he did give us gift cards $10 apiece he apologized for the food atmosphere one out of 10 I'd give it a three here's how my plate came out you decide.

Have you ever stalked a food truck like it was your ex on Instagram, hoping and praying they would…read morefinally settle down and open a permanent location? And then imagine finding out that said location is INSIDE an incredible brewery. Baby... when I tell you I almost ascended. Hello? Excuse me? Did the pizza and beer gods personally hear my dramatic little prayers? Did they not only bless us with this heavenly combo, but ALSO decide to rotate different pizza specials every single week just to keep me emotionally unstable? Because THEY. DID. I genuinely cannot stop talking about this place. At this point my friends are one more pizza rant away from blocking my number, but I refuse to apologize. Every single time I go, I convince myself this is my favorite pizza... and then next week they drop another masterpiece and suddenly I'm questioning everything I thought I knew about myself. What makes this place so ridiculously good is that they are fearless. They're out here using sauces as bases that other pizza places would clutch their pearls over. Ingredients that sound chaotic on paper somehow turn into the most beautiful, life-altering bite you've ever had. It's giving culinary drag performance. Bold. Unexpected. A little dramatic. Perfect execution. And the brewery vibe? Elite. The energy is fun, relaxed, a little loud in the best way, and honestly the perfect setting to destroy an entire pizza while pretending you'll "just have one slice." Lies. All lies. The beer pairings somehow make every flavor pop even more, which feels scientifically unfair. Also can we normalize restaurants understanding that pizza should be FUN? Because this place gets it. They're creative without being pretentious, experimental without losing quality, and somehow every pie still feels comforting and familiar while also making you gasp like you just heard fresh gossip. At this point I don't even ask what the special is anymore. I just trust them blindly like a toxic relationship, except this one actually delivers happiness. 10/10. Life-changing. Emotionally supportive pizza.

If you're in downtown Mesa and you're looking to grab a bite to eat and maybe have a drink or two,…read moreyou should consider swinging by Goat and Ram This spot has all the small batch brewery vibes, but is also a very popular pizza parlor. Located on the main drag of downtown Mesa you can eat inside or on the patio. There aren't servers, instead, you order at the front desk. The menu has a variety of options, mostly pizza (both classics and signature pies). There is also a bar area where you can grab a pint or two of local brews The interior was electric with people enjoying pizza, locations, watching the Olympics, and just unwinding for the day. We ordered a salad and a couple of pizzas. The salad came out first, and the pizzas weren't far behind Being a self-proclaimed pizza snob, the pizza was fine. It wasn't overly flavorful, and it didn't blow me away, but it also didn't disappoint. The salad was LOADED with toppings, and I was somewhat impressed there. Unfortunately, polling the group, the beer was slightly lackluster. But again, this spot is a fun vibe and is great if you want to hang out for a bit and enjoy a brewery/pizza parlor type atmosphere Some tips: When you're done with your drinks and meal consider walking down the Main Street and stopping by one of their many bars, museums, and other eateries There isn't a lot of parking off the main drag, but we were fortunate enough to find parking on a few different occasions Cheers!

We arrived at the host stand a few minutes before our reservation, but were told that there were no indoor tables available. If we wanted to be seated immediately, we'd have to accept an outdoor table, even though we had a reservation for indoor seating. We opted to wait because the weather was chilly by Arizona standards, and we were still recovering from the race. A couple of minutes later, another hostess approached us and asked whether we had reservations and were waiting. When we confirmed, she immediately left to find us a table, and we were seated very shortly afterwards. I thought very little of this until the owner came to our table and apologized for the issue. He was kind and sincere in his regret for the situation and was excited to tell us about the staff and the food. We were wildly appreciative of this attention to detail and service! We shared the potato croquettes, and they were everything I was hoping they'd be and more. (Light lore: I chose Pizzicata because I saw a picture of these croquettes on their online menu.) For dinner, my husband had the Travolta pizza, and I had the gnocchi gorgonzola. We both did that thing where we sat back in our chairs, breathed deeply, and declared, "oh dang, that's goooood." We were both so happy with our choices - I can't speak to the pizza, but that was some of the best gnocchi I've ever had. Pillowy soft in this perfectly nutty, cheesy, creamy sauce. *chef's kiss* For dessert, we shared the tiramisu, which was perfect in every way. If we weren't already walking funny because of the race, we'd have still waddled out of Pizzicata from happy fullness. The service, the food, the vibe - we're here for it and we'll be back the next time we're in Mesa.

During that time, several staff members including what seemed to be a manager, were loudly yelling back and forth across the restaurant about staffing and schedules. With no music or TV volume, it was impossible not to hear, and it felt very unprofessional. Meanwhile, our water glasses sat empty. I had to ask three separate times for refills, and the third time I actually had to get up and find our server at the bar, where she was sitting, still discussing the schedule. When the pizza finally arrived, it was delicious. But basic things like Parmesan and pepper weren't offered. I had to flag someone down to ask. And even though we'd just received our food, the lights on the patio were turned off while we were eating, and we were brought a box very quickly, which felt like a not-so-subtle hint to leave. Overall, the food was good, but the customer service and atmosphere really took away from what should have been a nice birthday dinner for my daughter. Very disappointing experience.
