We went here for my wife's birthday. We had a party of 9, so we made reservations. We were a little taken aback by the smaller size and obvious pizza vibe when we first entered. We were greeted (by name!!) right as we arrived and were shown to a table right away. Service was quick and the servers were excellent. we started with bruschetta and calamari as appetizers and they were excellent. For dinner, the party had 2 brick oven pizzas (deemed great), Both chicken and salmon picatta (excellent), and several different pastas. We were all very surprised, and grateful that all of the dishes were on a much higher par than the vibe suggests. They allowed us to bring in our own birthday cake, which they cut and served, then all of the staff stopped by to help sing "Happy Birthday" to my wife. We live right around the corner from this restaurant and decided to give it a try one evening. We ordered a variety of things, including wings that were ehh. We ordered a cheese pizza, but the kids did not care for it at all. I ordered the lobster pasta dish, but it was beyond salty and flavor. It was not very good either. We ordered the meatballs appetizer and my son didn't really care for it and the garlic toast was very odd and not fully soaked in butter. Only an eighth of an inch had any flavor otherwise it was just eating stale bread. Needless to say a bill of over $140 we left hungry as the food lacked flavor and we'll never return. Unfortunately I ordered a cocktail, but it never arrived and I was charged for it so instead of taking it off of my bill I was given $12 cash which is not at all what it would've been as tax was included in my bill. The ambience is not bad, but they do have a fly issue and constantly trying to keep flies away from our food was exhausting. read more

Started off with the waitress, Tracey being a jerk! We asked for a table where we could sit next to each other, this made her visibly angry. She said she had to clean it first so we would have to wait. She then attended to as many other guests as possible, then cleaned all the other tables first..... The food... if you're diabetic do not eat here. EVERYTHING was sweet. The forgot to put chicken in the chicken parm. Very disappointed and disgusted at the same time. WHAT A GEM! We have driven by a hundred times going for burgers at Blue32 practically next door. It is a wonderful sit down Italian restaurant with a full bar. They make the tasty pizzas in front of the bar so you can watch. This is a cute little Italian eatery and bar. We arrived around 5 PM and were promptly seated. Our server's name was Tracy. When she learned we were new, she sat down next to me and warmly welcomed us, introduced herself and asked our names. Nice touch! Jacob was the other nice server and they both work all the tables. We started with two house salads. The lettuce was very fresh and a nice variety of different types of lettuce, along with olives and cheese. Don ordered the Gilbert carbonara and I ordered the Florentine chicken . They came out just as we finished our salad and were piping hot. They were both nicely prepared and we enjoyed them. We are seniors so we don't eat as much as we used to. As a bonus, we ended up taking some home for lunch the next day. read more

Fabulous time at this cute Italian Bistro - Jacob made our experience so fun. We felt like we'd known him for years! Food was all so tasty. We had the delicious calamari with two different sauces, and a pizza , half meat lovers and half Hawaiian . This was our first time and we are excited to come back for the pastas. Can't wait!! Super loved this place! It just opened in February and the service was amazing! The chef came out and spoke with us so they were super welcoming! For sure DONT SKIP THE APPETIZERS! The meatballs were probably the best I've ever had! Fried ravioli was amazing but the meatballs take the cake. Also had the meat lovers pizza, Penne Alla Arrabiata (for people who love spice!), & the Chicken Pesto Panini. All of us loved our meals! The pasta was the biggest hit. The Tiramisu was amazing, cannoli was great, and the spumoni slice was unique! It was like an ice cream slice with a bunch of different flavors! Eatalio is such a cute place, it has a nice neighborhood restaurant style where you can be casual or have a cutesy date , or good times with family and friends. As far as the service, It is super welcoming because of the small, non-franchise feel, clean and modern environment. The food is so comforting, I mean it is pasta and salads, and has a good wine selection also available if you enjoy a glass. I haven't had a lasagna is awhile and forgot how good it was! read more

I don't ever leave reviews but here I go! This place was not good at all, we've given them multiple chances because we support local businesses. Their food is flavored with garlic, lots of it, way too much! Before ordering tonight we asked to have garlic dialed down just a bit (we ordered bruschetta) Nope! All you could taste was just that! We also ordered the lasagna which had no flavor whatsoever. The manager came by to discuss this with us, the response was that people like it that way. We were seated within just five minutes, which was a nice bonus for it being Easter weekend. Overall, everything was up to par, and the experience enjoyable. My family and I have been coming to this restaurant for five years and ever since the new Management has taken over. It is absolutely ridiculous. Last time we were told to remove our menus while we're having appetizers because they're expensive and they don't get spilled on. I overlooked that I then brought people here again tonight we ordered a Tuaca lemon drop which we've ordered for five years they were brought to the table they were not tuaca a lemon drops, and the manager persistently told me that Tuaca is no longer available which we all know is not true Tuaca is available worldwide. I can even DoorDash it right now. The servers did not have a no clue what meals included. Everything is now served in plastic baskets and the staff has overturned many times recently the place is absolutely empty. I still had food in my basket as an appetizer and the manager wanted to take it as you can see in my video and pictures. This place is empty on Friday night go next-door to blue 32. It is packed such a shame. I then set my empty basket on the table next to us which sat full of dishes for 20 minutes and was told that that was rude as an empty basket was sitting in front of me for 20 minutes because the tables were not busted properly.. such a shame a good place gone bad. They also have a breakfast place which I'm assuming has also gone downhill as well. Just an FYI to everybody do not go here. Hence the reason that it is empty on a Friday night and at 8 o'clock when everything in this town has an hour wait. Hope to see something new in their location soon. read more

Food was great and reasonably priced. Generous portions. Menu selection was very good. Lively, contemporary and comfortable ambience. Not too noisy. Service was attentive but slow, especially drink orders. The bar was clearly a bottle neck. Servers seemed inexperienced. It was our first visit and we asked how long they had been open and to our surprise they said five years. From the service perspective it seemed like five days. Advice, if you're drinking wine, order a bottle. This will overcome the bar service bottleneck and the SKIMPY pours for a single glass. We brought this issue up to management but they didn't seem interested in resolving the customer satisfaction issue. Bottom line very good food. Definitely worth a visit. If you're drinking wine, buy the bottle and have a drink or two before you arrive. read more

Friendly. Good cocktails and pizza and pasta within a couple miles of our house. We have been back a number of times to celebrate a birthday dinner or other occasion during the week. It's quick and we always enjoy the service and atmosphere whole family loves it. I have also invited my girlfriends for Friday night ladies dinner and have invited co workers to meet for happy hour. This place is great. We have ordered from them multiple times because it's about a mile from our current rental. The staff is super friendly, as it's a small family owned joint. Their pizzas are made in house, in a pizza oven. You can actually see them making the pizzas! They're usually delicious. I'm giving 4 stars because sometimes the pizzas are unevenly cooked, and are still a bit underdone. Despite that, I'll still keep coming back to this place because of their friendly staff and authentic pizza made in house. read more

I am Italian and have enjoyed Italian for for nearly 70 years. This place does NOT serve Italian food. I ordered spaghetti and sausage I am not sure what I tried to it. The sausage was burned and cut into tiny bits. The spaghetti sauce had the most distasteful flavor I have ever had. The salad appeared like it was dumped out of a plastic bag into a dish. Food was good. If it wasn't for the lead server, we would be back. My friend had a party of 30 and all the servers were attentive. What I found odd was the redhead woman/lead server was quite abrupt. While all regular patrons had black cloth napkins and utensils, we were given one fork and one paper napkin. Next to the buffet, there was a box of cloth napkins and utensils. When we ran out of the paper napkins, we grabbed a few of those. The lead server literally grabbed them back from us when we placed them on our table without an explanation. Very rude! We are paying patrons and all the other walk-in patrons had cloth napkins and full utensils. The food was good but not good enough to be treated rudely. Ambiance is average. This was a very nice Italian place, located away from the bigger, more crowded downtown area of Gilbert. We had a yummy pizza, and part of the reason we picked this place was their gluten free selections that accommodated one of our party. We will return. read more

In all fairness, my wife dined here with her daughter and enjoyed it. Brought home a pizza, pineapple and ham for me. Thin, crisp crust, thin layer of sauce, thin sprinkling of pineapple and ham. Food was amazing. Their fig and pig bruschetta was such a good start to our meal and set the standard. Solid Carbonara and Chicken Marsala. The meat lovers was surprisingly not overly salty, and their Indian pizza was such a unique combination, with a good combination of veggies and well seasoned chicken with a nice spicy sauce. To finish it off was their Tiramisu. So well balanced with the taste of coffee and sweetness. One of the best I've tasted. Wow! Eataliano blew us away. The dishes were fresh, authentic, and packed with flavor. We loved that they even offer Indian-inspired Italian options. The owner personally took the time to sit with us, share his passion for food, and make us feel so welcome. We've been here 3 times now and have found everything perfectly done and presented. I love the fact it is a family owned business and they work hard to make sure everything is done correctly. My family and I were recently in Arizona for the holidays and made a quick stop at Eatlio. We were craving Italian food and found this gem of a restaurant on yelp. We walked into a very cozy and inviting ambiance. The lighting, soft music, and Christmas tree were a great touch for the holidays. The bar area was absolutely stunning and had plenty of seating, but we chose to sit together at the tables. The bar had a great selection of drinks and since we all have different preferences, there was something for everyone in the family. I had been craving a good brushetta, so of course we ordered that and it definitely hit the spot. It was the perfect combination of fresh, citrusy and garlicy flavors. Our server was great all night and gave us great recommendations, including the fried ravioli, which was one of our favorite dishes of the night. Literally the most perfect oohey gooey ravioli with a crispy exterior and complimenting sauce. Definitely a must-try appetizer when you come here! For dinner, we decided to share a couple dishes family-style so we would get to try a little bit of everything. We ordered the Penne Alla Vodka, Pasta Carbonara, Chicken Marsala, and Chicken Piccata. We had no complaints whatsoever. Everything was seasoned to perfection and was just the kind of comforting dishes we had been craving. It was my first time trying chicken picata and I've definitely become a fan. I was hesitant that the lemon might be too strong, but that wasn't the case. It was just the right amount of freshness. Of course, we had to end the meal with some tiramisu and a cannoli. Based on the rest of the meal, we had high expectations. The desserts did not disappoint!! Omg, I can literally taste both of them right now as I write this review. My family completely demolished both desserts within minutes - before I could even take a picture, and ordered more to go. Definitely make sure you save room for desserts! Overall, this was some of the best Italian food we've had in a hot minute. I can't wait to try the other dishes on the menu. My husband and I tried Eatalio last night for the first time, and it was DELICIOUS! We started with the Garlic Bread with marinara, and it was outstanding. We had the Chicken Parmigiana and the Chicken Florentina, which were absolutely out of this world. Huge portions of food, which we could have easily shared with 2 other couples!
