It was refreshing to see signage that declared products that were GF. Protein smoothies, coffee drinks, salads, wraps, sandwiches, rice bowls, salads and cookies make up the menu. The staff was more than happy to answer questions regarding any menu items. No need to play "Guess Which Menu Item Won't Make Me Regret Lunch." I dined here twice in a week. My first visit I had a seasonal latte, my friend had one and a chocolate GF muffin top. All were very good! On my return visit I enjoyed the chicken salad sandwich with kale chips. I was thrilled that they could accommodate my request for no onion or garlic products and they offered gluten free bread. Toasted with paper thin green apple slices and plain mayo instead of their herbed mayo my $13.95 lunch was satisfying and tasty! My friend had the roasted chicken sandwich for $11.95 and only ate half because she was full on the meaty chicken breast within the slices of bread. We stayed a while and admired the cute decor which was supplied by the sister business, Olive Branch just two doors down. I did a quick search on Yelp and realized I was less than a mile away from this cafe. The space has a cozy and welcoming feel. There's tons of seating. The staff greeted me as soon as I entered. The young woman behind the counter was very helpful. The menu offers sandwiches, shakes, pastries, and more. The tuna melt sounded great to me so I ordered that with gluten free bread as well as a GF pastry. I think it was a muffin top. Both items were delish! I devoured the tuna salad in the cafe before leaving and it helped me with my workout later that afternoon. The pastry was delightful as well. It was light and not too sweet. I came back a couple of weeks later and brought my husband who was looking for a healthy drink after we played golf. We both got shakes. Barrio Bread is a local James Beard winner so AMAZING. I had the Wagyu Meatballs that were also fantastic and so big, I took one home. We both came for the burger - Two Grassfed Beef Patties, Sharp Cheddar, G&G's Special Sauce, House-Made Pickles, Shredded Lettuce, Noble Brioche Bun, Served with French Fries. They appeared to be 2 quarter pounders both with cheese served on another local artisan baker, Noble Bread. They were enormous enough that we decided to return soon and split it with the Goat Cheese spread. Finally, we finished with their on premise made Apricot Cheesecake. It is very light. Mahfam recommended a different cheese for us to try and it was excellent so we got half a pound. Hubby ended up loving her recommendation even more than the other two. Mahfam knows her cheese!
