We took my parents here to eat dinner before they left the next day, which also happened to be Mother's Day. I think everyone was shocked how busy it was, even the employees. They let us know it would be a bit of a wait and we decided to go for it. I felt like we were watching a real live episode of Bear. It was intense in the kitchen, well handled, funny moments happened that I truly did LOL, what made it so special is how well the staff worked together. The next thing I knew our food was here. Came here around 3pm and was surprised they have a daily happy hour from 3-6pm! So because of that we got to order smaller versions of things we'd want to try. We got the Hummus and Tabouleh appetizer, a Kafta Beef Slider and a Chipotle Black Bean Slider. We came here because I was craving Tabouleh, but they only offer it in the Hummus and Tabouleh appetizer so it was ontop of a hummus of your choice (we went with the original). I wish they had this separately though because I enjoy it better as separate dishes. I ended up taking the Tabouleh off onto another plate to enjoy as a salad on its own, and then eating the pita with the hummus. The Tabouleh was sour, it definitely didn't need the additional lemon slice provided. The Hummus was savory and filling, the pita to go with it was soft. The Kafta Beef Slider was a lot more flavorful then the Chipotle Black Bean Slider for sure, and had a better texture so I would definitely order that one again. First, it came out looking so beautiful! The presentation was on point and it made me not want to eat it, but I did! Every bite of the meat mixed with the tzaki was amazing. The rice was soft and fluffy and had a nice hint of spice! My friend and I really enjoyed ourselves here! The patio looks cute as well and has misters but we've never ate on the patio as weather has not permitted yet! I typically get one of the chicken bowls or gyro wrap with roasted potatoes. My husband swears by the chicken masala and will only get that every time! The kids meals also have a nice variety to choose from. read more

Pita Jungle did not disappoint! I came in hungry and left full, happy, and considering writing a thank-you note to Gwen, my waitress. She was super attentive, had a great attitude, and a smile that could probably convince you to order dessert even if you're full (I resisted) I had the gyro, and it was chef's kiss--perfectly seasoned and wrapped like it knew it had a job to do. I also got the garlic potatoes on the side, because.... saying no to garlic is just bad life choices. They were flavorful, and disappeared from my plate faster than I care to admit. I want to start off by saying it has been at least 2 years since I have been to this location for various reasons (the food quality was ridiculous, the service was terrible and when I brought to the managers attention at that time, he clearly did not care). We decided to give this location another chance, and of all days, it was on a busy Mother's Day! But, so glad we gave it another shot. We observed a young man full of energy and very actively involved in helping out from left to right, up and down that restaurant. It was obvious to us he was the manager (Joshua) because he was so actively involved. He was very personable and stopped by our table (and others) to ensure we had everything we needed. He introduced other sauces that enhanced our meals and I have to say, his positive energy really improved the vibe and ambiance in this restaurant 100% over our last experience. I ordered the following: Spicy margarita Cilantro jalapeño hummus Tuna melt The spicy marg was delicious and had a nice kick. I've had the cilantro japaleño hummus from another Pita Jungle and loved it, so I had to get it again. It's creamy and full of cilantro and jalapeño flavor, which I love. For my entree, I chose the tuna melt, which was a seasonal item. It came recommended by our server and one person from our party. The pita it came with was stuffed with chunks of tuna. It was tasty and filling. Pita Jungle was busy that evening, and they seemed understaffed. Though our server was great, she had other tables and maybe even the bar. My wife and I went to Pita Jungle for the first time on Friday night for their Happy Hour. Our server was Katie (hope spelling is correct.) It's a really a nice location with ample seating inside and outside. Our server was just extremely helpful in having our drink and tapas selection. The tapas selections we made were fantastic and we found it helpful to get a taste of their cuisine as their regular menu has a very large selection. We were very impressed overall. I love Mediterranean food & since just moving to the area & noticing one nearby I decided to give them a try. Hummus trio - regular hummus Cilantro jalapeño - chickpeas, tahini, fresh cilantro, fresh jalapeno, fresh garlic, evoo, lemon juice. What's not to like about hummus & give me 3 options in one & I'm in heaven. Portobello mushroom pita was pretty good as well. We visited this location the evening of May 6 for a late dinner. Food was great but the women's bathroom looked a little run down. I have to give a 2 star rating due to the unsafe baby changing table. It's a big deal to get our family out to dinner with a baby. The changing table was over extended when opened which allows baby to easily roll off. Very unsafe. read more

Quite pleased to see Pita Jungle at the Steelyard! This area needed a PJ - a perfect addition, and the vibe is casual, neighborhood friendly. It's not a very big space, but plenty of indoor and outdoor seating options. Granted it is a chain, the menu is geared to be healthy, fresh and reasonably priced. Gotta love that! Zero guilt:) Yelp tip: They offer a daily happy hour from 3pm - 5pm on some popular restaurant light bites. Both the fire roasted Chilpotle Chicken pizza and the Basil & Spinnach pizza included ($5.75) and oh sooo tasty! The bar service is attentive and made sure each item was made to satisfaction. They aim to please and extra sides of sauce or pitaš are complimentary. PJ even has their own line of hot sauces which you can try and also buy to enjoy at home. Waaay better than a lot of hot sauces on the market with healthier ingredients too. Needless to say, I'm a fan. Especially a fan of the Seared Tuna over hummus plate. I absolutely love this place!! I recently moved from California and I'm so happy I've found a great Gyro spot!!! Their taziki is on point!! Love their pasta salad and trio of hummus. Also the servers/ bartenders are so accommodating, Specifically Gwen and Katie!! I have been here a few times. I always order my food to go, since I live out of the area. I love that they have an eat at bar. They also have a pick up window for to go orders. However, it was too hot to utilize it today. I walked in and was greeted by the manager. I inquired about their to go menu. I asked him to recommend something I could eat on my way home. I decided on the Glazed Chicken Lavash Pizza. I was given a 15 minute wait time. I decided to wait in the car to keep my groceries cold. As I walked out I noticed their drink special signs. After 10 minutes I decided to check on the status of my order. My pizza was ready and I was given a bottle of cold water on the house. The pizza was amazing loved the onion and the crunchiness of the lavash. The chicken was nice and juicy. I wish I would have asked for some of the honey mustard sauce on the side.
