This little place is a diamond in the ruff! We have been dining here for several years and not only is the food absolutely delicious, the owner and staff are always so kind and sweet to us when we go. The flavors are perfect, they are mild but rich and wonderfully combined. The gyros are moist and flavorful, the salad is spot on. They have a variety of beers from Greece and neighboring countries. My hubby gets the lamb when we come here and says that the lamb is always cooked perfectly and full of amazing flavors. Overall, a great place to get tasty Greek food, with large portions at a reasonable price.

Perfect place for authentic Greek food and the service was amazing! We went early and was blessed to have the owner take care of us! Lovely lovely man! We started with the dip trio and the flaming feta. Look, if you don't do anything but get the flaming feta, your foodie life will be better for it. (Seriously, why are you still reading? Get in your car now and order this!) The food was so delicious and we definitely will be back!

Hummus is delicious!!

Food and service is awesome!!!! I am not sure how I have missed this place. It is a definite staple going forward.

This is supposed to be "Flaming Feta". It is not feta and there are no tomatoes, oregano, spiced peppers or olive oil.

I rotate between the gyro and chicken souvlaki and steak sharawma. Food is good and fresh. Meat is flavorful and fries are crisp.

Ask the Community - Zorba's Greek Cafe

We tried to go eat here twice and they been closed. I know they changed their hours 2pm to 6pm but we went today at 2:15pm and no one was there. Did they permanently close?

The owner had an accident and injured his eye. They were open later a few days this week. Usually they are open at 2. Zorbas is going to start opening for lunch as well very soon.

Are they open for Dine In?

I believe they are. So, yes. We are going there for lunch today. 2 months ago we were there for lunch and dined in. Chef H is great.

Food was so good. The ingredients and the quality is the best and you can taste it. Their pesto is a must try. The platter had rosemary infused potato ( too good), A salad ( that's so refreshing) falafel ( delicious ) with a little hummus drizzled on top however no hummus for the pita. It would be have been nice to have a little hummus for the pita to go with. The flat bread was flavor bomb The pesto pasta was out of the world Their Rum cake was so good ( had different flavors in each levels) A MUST TRY they have a BAKLAVA CHEESE CAKE TOO which is on the list to try next time. Wonderful place, wonderful people and amazing food - not to be missed

The service is wonderful, staff are always nice and provide quick service. The atmosphere is great! You have the option to eat inside or outside, both options are great but I definitely recommend outside. There are plants surrounding the patio and misters that keep the area cool. We went on a day that was 93°F and I was actually starting to get cold on the patio. The best dish they have is the Spanakopita, it is perfectly flaky with a nice ratio of spinach to feta. I get it everytime. I also had the lamb (medium rare) souvlaki pita sandwhich with Greek Fries. The lamb was cooked perfectly, it was not gamey, and the size of the lamb chunks fit perfectly in the pita. Would recommend trying this dish out if you like lamb. As someone who is Greek I am extremely picky and do not usually enjoy going to Mediterranean restaurants, I avoid them at all costs. This restaurant is not one that I avoid at all. The food here reminds me of family cooking and I beyond recommend checking them out

I was reminded why I don't dine here more frequently, they put the 'meh' in Mediterranean. Starting with the ambiance, this place is looking old and weathered. Their store front is not very inviting. Once inside, you navigate through their dining area to the counter to order. The counter area looks more like an advertisement for other establishments...stickers, ads, coupons, notes and all sorts of motley items. The man who I think was doing three jobs in one (host, order taker, bathroom attendant) took my order and walked away. No friendly hello or enthusiasm of any kind. Once I took my seat I watched several people use their store just for the bathroom in the back...the back where there's no door separating the dining area vs. kitchen vs. warehouse vs. bathroom. People were standing in a line to use the restroom a foot from where my food was being made. I ordered a simple gyro sandwich with rice. The sandwich was pretty straight-forward: gyro slices, onions, tomatoes and tzatziki. When it arrive, there was no sign of tomatoes or onion...just different shades of brown drowning in too much tzatziki. I eventually found several onions and one tiny tomato underneath all the meat. Underneath...what a poor presentation. The rice was okay...nothing special. There was nothing here that would draw me back. Having several other Mediterranean food options within miles that I do enjoy has relegated this place to 'in emergency break glass' status.

Tried again on a Wednesday. We were able to place order immediately. It's worth it! Green Corner- It's Tucked away in a strip mall in Chandler, this Mediterranean restaurant is all it's hyped up to be. Customer service was excellent--friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The dining area was clean and well maintained, with spotless tables and restrooms, which always makes a great first impression. We ordered two chicken shawarma plates: one with fries and hummus, and the other with salad and rice. Everything was seasoned perfectly. The chicken was tender, juicy, and full of flavor, the fries were crisp and well-spiced, and the hummus was smooth and delicious. We also tried the C1 combo Arabic style, which came with half chicken, half beef, and two sides. Both proteins were excellent, and the garlic sauce was a standout--we absolutely loved it. We couldn't help but notice many other customers enjoying salads, all of which looked fresh and generously topped with crisp vegetables. Portion sizes across the board were very good, leaving us satisfied with some to go. Overall, the food was excellent, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back and can't wait to try more from the menu.

Everything looked soooo appetizing on the menu and since I was going to meal prep this week, the Al Sham Chicken Combo caught my eye. For $15, you get little cute pieces of chicken shawarma with 2 dips! I was in love with the red sauce and wish the garlic sauce was more garlic-y but it was good either way! The kofta was great as well but would definitely come back more for their shawarmas but it's definitely the best bang for your buck I also got some baba ganoush on the side to dip my fries in but unfortunately, I thought the baba ganoush was too lemony/there was too much sumac added so it wasn't as enjoyable. Most baba ganoush I've tasted in my hometown also had a smokey flavor to it from the eggplant so it really couldn't compare.

The lemon potatoes are terrific as is the rice pudding. I would love to see them start selling HALVAH because there just isn't enough of it in Arizona! NOT WHAT YOU THINK…read more The Spitz moniker is derived from the rotating BBQ spit, middle-eastern style rotisserie used to slow cook their meats. The name of this restaurant isn't very becoming. But you will be coming regularly once you try this place. Mediterranean food has worked it's way as a staple across the country because of the use of numerous spices, it has an undeniable bold flavor that has become a favorite of the American diet. Here is no exception and lives up to the Mediterranean flavor profile expectations with an Americanized twist on the ingredients. I ordered on the app and found it quite user friendly, which encourages me to get food here more often with the ease of use and simple interface. You have to ability to add or omit ingredients from the menu items which makes for a very satisfying customized meal (and only have yourself to blame if it is a displeasing combination) BERLINER WRAP- meat and veg all in a flatbread wrap. There's a lot of ingredients packed in this thang, so for me, I had to use extra sauce to dip and coat it all in flavor. The problem with these wraps though, is that the paper it wrapped in was getting stuck to the bread and would have to constantly peel it off that thang and it was a mess, unless you just don't mind eating the paper for some extra fiber. MEDI BOWL- The bowl was felt healthy and hearty; an all-around good dish. The crunchy garbanzo beans were a nice element to contrast against the other textures in the bowl. Again, i liked it with more sauce, but that's just me. Everything tasted fresh and delicious and I want to try the other menu items in the future.
