Terrible service, I called 5 times to place an order... my area code is not Local so they did not answer. I finally left a message saying I wanted to order food and then the sixth time I called a gentleman answered and was SOOO extremely rude! this was the first time we were going to try this place less than a mile from our new house! I'm torn on this place. I really enjoyed some of my meal and some of it was just OK. I got the mixed Shawarma plate with a soda for lunch. First off the soda machine seemed off. It was very light on carbonation. Also the chicken shawarma was a bit dry and didn't have much flavor. I enjoyed the beef shawarma a bit more. What I really did like was the Greek salad which tasted very fresh. Also the pita was amazing and tasted great with the hummus. Coming from the East Coast to heroes out here have not been great, but I found this place by accident and I was really hungry. Walked in made my water. It was ready within five minutes and what a great assembly of a sandwich. Perfect amount of vegetable sauce and meat. Oh, by the way, the meat that they put on the sandwich out here is unbelievable. Tabouli would hit better, but this is the only source of salad of the menu Tahini: I mean it's roasted sesame seed paste I don't need any, seems like you're trying to get rid of it because you dumped most of it in the hummus also. Hummus: DISAPPOINTING. Flavorless bland and way too much tahini. BUT the description is chickpeas and tahini... literally nothing else so maybe that's my bad. Replace your serving of hummus and tahini with your Tatziki. Because that's the star of the show. *And offer Tatziki with the plate. *and more. 1 oz?? Come on. Dolmas: cold when I received them, so initially disgusting. After rewarming, they were alright. But normally I don't mind a cold grapeleaf leftover when they're made good.. This is the best Greek food I have had! And I often eat Greek Food. The meats, including kabob meat, were moist and well flavored. The saffron rice was exceptionally smoothly seasoned. The pita is fresh, plump and substantive. The service was friendly and prompt. And portions were generous, making this a good value. We finally go to try Niros today. Ordered the family plate to go. It has two kabab skewers, two kafta and two chicken. It is served on a bed or rice with pickles and toppings. It also comes with a side Greek salad and hummus. I ordered at the restaurant to go. The place wasn't very busy but there were a few occupied tables. Order was ready after about 15+ minutes and was packed well. The gentleman who took my order and gave it to me when it was ready was nice and welcoming. Food was really good and the portion was generous. The hummus was spot on, creamy and delicious. The grills were great but had a ton of black pepper. We would have definitely wanted less on the meats. Nevertheless, taste was excellent. We didn't try the Greek salad, we weren't sure if the dressing was missed or the pink sauce that was in the bag was supposed to be used on it but it looked pretty good. They gave us a generous amount of pita breads which were warm and delicious. Rice was fluffy and full of flavor, we enjoyed it a lot too. Definitely worth a try. So, I had a Gyro. It was ok nothing epic but not horrible. The service was poor. Barely acknowledged me. immediately charged me an extra few when I asked him what was it for he pointed to the sign saying 35% fee for credit card even though I had cash in my had. I told him next time you should ask if it's cash before you add the fee. No reply from him. The whole time I was trying to order/pay he was looking behind him at a different screen. I asked for extra tzatziki sauce after I got my order he said 50 cents more.. normally I don't mind paying for extra sauce but for a teaspoon of sauce and most places just give it to you with the poor service I decided..The gyro barely had any tzatziki sauce on it so maybe I should have gotten it. Gyro's are getting smaller and smaller but price goes up, not the only place doing this but still sucks. It has way too many onions and I actually really like onions but I had to take half off. Don't know if I will come back.. there's other places within a 5 mile radius so I'll check them out next time. read more

I tried the mix plate (with Kafta, chicken and beef), and it was delicious. The yogurt dip was so good. Chicken was moist and flavorful and the kafta too. Loved the rice and salad.
