For newbies, basically it's a blended mixture of lamb and beef like a meatloaf but instead of baking, it's cooked on a spit with their seasoning. The place needs a thorough scouring with bleach (and not Fabuloso). The heat just made the odor worse. Tried to sit inside to eat bc it was 115 outside. However, with the uncomfortable temperature inside and the stench, I was only able to eat a 1/3 of my gyro before having to leave. I LOVE the food here. HATE the service. They are posted to be open until 7. They won't take orders past 6:30. They NEVER answer the phone. I called from 6:25 -6:50, non stop before they answered the phone to tell me the kitchen is closed and I needed to call before 6:30. I have been hitting redial for about 30 minutes. The service is RUDE and argued with me. I wish these were not the best gyros around, because I'd love to see ANYONE else running the place. Very disappointed! We ordered 2 plate dinners grilled pork and chicken kebob. First-the price online is different than in the restaurant, Second- the portion sizes for the price was a joke. Now the food, my pork was grilled, and in bite size chunks, it was extremely salty, and very tough, the rice was OK zero flavor, and the salad was lettuce, red onion, and feta with red wine vinegar dressing. My had chicken, it had about 8 small chunks, she said her flavor was okay, rice, salad. 2 pieces of pita bread were good. I understand the economy is tough but this dinner for 30+ dollars was very very disappointing. We will not be back, and I don't recommend this restaurant. read more

The owner was extremely nice we had ordered our food to go and something must've came across wrong when ordering because our order was wrong. Instead of getting 1 gyro combo and a order of Greek fries we got 2 combo's and was charged for both. The gyros were very good tons of flavorful meet and fresh veggies in both. The fries were your average frozen french fries out of the bag all in all it wasn't a bad experience by any means what I do highly suggest is that if you get a to go order to check it before leaving the restaurant to make sure you get what you ordered. read more

I've had both the traditional gyro, the gyro plate, hummus, as well as the falafels which are all very good. When the hubbs and I are craving Mediterranean, this is our place. I must admit that although the fries are always hot and fresh, they aren't the very best I've had. They are no match for the other foods they offer, but are acceptable. This is one of the best gyro and pita restaurants in the Valley IMO. The moment you walk in, there's great hole in the wall vibes and great tasting gyro plates. This is family run and operated and they really do seem to care about you and your order. I usually get a Gyros plate which comes with a very large portion of gryo meat, rice, and salad.
