Quick and delicious. I am glad that this place opened up so close to my house. Can't wait to come back.

Great place I will definitely be coming back to! First off, the older gentleman at the counter was super nice and was passionate about the food made in-house. Second, the food! Absolutely delicious! I got the mixed shawarma plate (chicken, beef, and rice), it was so good, especially the hummus and garlic sauce! I even had an app- falafel which was too good and a birds nest for dessert, rich and amazing! The restaurant has a "fast casual" feel to it, but luckily the food did not have that same feel.. the flavor, quality and portions were that of a more upscale restaurant! I had PLENTY to take home for lunch/dinner tomorrow!! I can't wait to come back and try more or get the same thing, it was just too good!

Shawarmaati is a cool Mediterranean grill that offers platters and sandwiches that are authentic. The owners are very nice and clearly take pride in their food. They have a few desserts as well that looked very tempting (baklava and Dubai chocolate). Prices were fair and the food came out piping hot with a nice presentation. I think this spot fits well in South Chandler and look forward to coming back!

If you are having a bad day come here because the moment you walk in your a greeted with a energetic welcome. The restaurant is clean. The food is good. My only recommendation is for regular utensils. My mother's fork broke off in her chicken. I'm glad she was able to find the missing pieces.

To start we got the dolmades. I enjoyed the drizzle of pomegranate sauce on them. Just a hint to give them a bright flavor. We got the Shwarmaati platter so we could a little of everything. Lamb was very tender. Chicken was flavorful and tender. Kafta was bursting with flavor also. I don't like hummus as I hate garbanzo beans, but decided to give theirs a try. So super smooth and creamy. I could eat this every day! Even the rice was flavorful. Can't wait to come back and try more items! Bella was super friendly and helped us with great decisions to eat!!!

We just tried this for the first time and it was very good. The owner recommended the platter. There were two of us so we split a Shawarmaati platter which was perfect for us. There were 3 types of meat, all were so juicy and flavorful. It came with rice, hummus/pita, rice and a small salad. The salad was so good, it had this great dressing. I thought it was Greek salad but it's actually fattoush salad according to the owner. It was different and we really enjoyed it. We will definitely be back. This is very close to us so it's convenient.

The best chicken shawarma wrap! It's rolled up with garlic sauce and pickles, then grilled in the wrap. And the birds nest is so decadent. I can't wait to try everything on the menu. Everyone at the Chandler location is so friendly too. I love coming here.

When we walked in, we were greeted by Lilly. Lilly was super friendly, very helpful, service could not be better. We ordered the chicken Shawarma platter, the gyro platter, with a side of salad. The food was warm, plentiful, and came out very quickly. The food is pretty good but the fries are terrific. The drinks are Pepsi products but they have a strawberry lemonade and a mango lemonade. I tried the strawberry lemonade and it was very good. The restaurant is very clean and has a large outdoor patio. I was glad that they had a few tables inside because it's warm out. Will go again and try some of the other dishes. I'm looking forward to trying the hummus.

Fantastic Mediterranean food! My husband got the gyro platter and loved it, and I ordered the lamb platter with rice so flavorful and perfectly cooked. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and the hummus was some of the best we've had. Highly recommend if you're craving great Mediterranean food!

While getting my Gyro last week, I noticed Charcoal Grilled Chicken on the menu and knew I would be back. It did not disappoint. Charcoal Grilled marinated Whole chicken with your choice of rice or fries, hummus, garlic dip and salad. I went with the Hummus, the fries and the rice. I know, choose a starch and move on with your life but my wife wanted the fries and I really wanted to try the rice so 2 starches. Both great. The fries were fantastic as last week and still a ton of them for a side but the rice was really good also. It was very soft and fluffy with a nice flavor. I even liked them left over and cold the next morning. Come on, you know you do that too. The chicken had a delicious charcoal outside to it while still being tender and juicy. The garlic sauce is a bit strong for my taste but if you love garlic fries, you will love that combo. Again, the hummus was great with the accompanying pita bread for dipping. Definitely a complete meal for a small to medium family. All for just under $30. I will be a repeat customer for this one.

    Falafel Wrap (sandwich)

Sadly I am updating my review because in my opinion, the quality and taste of the food had drastically changed since they originally opened this location. I have returned a few times since my original 5 star review, but it has consistently declined for me and my friends. We have placed online orders ahead of time, only to have to wait at least 30 minutes for our order. The quantity, quality of the service and taste of the food sadly has declined. My last experience was the last straw. I was craving their falafel wrap (sandwich) and I ordered it online for pick up. When I brought it home, the wrap had very little inside and it was well overcooked! The falafel wraps have gotten skinnier and skinnier. I wish this place much success, but sadly, I feel like we are getting ripped off every time we have ordered to-go. So if you decide to try it, check your order before you leave the restaurant :-)

Me and my boyfriend just moved into Chandler and have been waiting for this place to open. So we finally went and the moment we walked in Bella welcomed us with the most loving and caring energy I've ever experienced. With the amazing food and the amazing service from Bella I will 100% be returning very soon. Thank you so much Bella!

For $15, you get little cute pieces of chicken shawarma with 2 dips! I was in love with the red sauce and wish the garlic sauce was more garlic-y but it was good either way! The kofta was great as well but would definitely come back more for their shawarmas but it's definitely the best bang for your buck I also got some baba ganoush on the side to dip my fries in but unfortunately, I thought the baba ganoush was too lemony/there was too much sumac added so it wasn't as enjoyable. Most baba ganoush I've tasted in my hometown also had a smokey flavor to it from the eggplant so it really couldn't compare.

An order of kibbeh and hummus rounded out my order. The kibbeh was perfectly cooked and the hummus was super creamy as house made hummus goes. Oh! Visiting, from California, some dear friends in Mesa, we ventured through the triple-digit heat for about 20 minutes to get there. Even they as locals had never heard of the place, hidden amidst miles of chain stores and strip malls. But it wasn't long before we were all singing its praises and vowing to return. Across the board, every dish was peak: ultra-creamy and subtly garlicky hummus; silken, appropriately smoky baba ghannouj; perfectly crisp, tender, not-doughy-inside falafel; and herby tabbouli, light (but not vanishingly so) on the bulgur in the Levantine style. These basics always make or break such a restaurant, and they were all outstanding. Add to this seldom-seen delights like foul medamas (fava-bean soup), four variants of ghallabah (grilled meats or seafood), chack-chouka/shakshuka (eggs poached in tomatoes and onions), and two types of pita baked on premises and served from the oven--all in generous portions and at reasonable prices--and it's worth the drive wherever you are in Phoenix and environs. The bread was ok, but they only gave us 3 pieces of pita bread which were about the size of a sand dollar. This was not enough bread for 2 people with 3 dips. Also, the fries were the kind of fries you get when it looks like they haven't cleaned the grease in a while. The babaganoush was really good. But everything else was pretty mediocre. I've been here 3 or 4 times and everytime I feel as though the service is bad and the food is overpriced. It's really sad, but I want to like this place, but I can't. Also, they have a rewards program but my waitress didn't try to get me to sign up. I asked when I saw it. It's a pet peeve of mine. But- I guess she doesn't really care or offer it because she probably doesn't think people will come back. I'd been here several times years ago, and after coming back, I'm honestly wondering why I don't eat here more often. I ordered the chicken shawarma, a stuffed grape leaves platter, and hot tea. Everything was exactly what I hoped it would be. The chicken was well-seasoned, tender, and wrapped with the classic toppings, and the portion was fair for the price. Speaking of price, the value here is honestly hard to beat. The stuffed grape leaves platter came with hummus, tabbouleh, pita, and hot stuffed grape leaves. I had completely forgotten they serve them warm, and my brain needed a minute to recalibrate because I'm so used to cold dolmas everywhere else. Once I took a bite, though... yep. That's how they're supposed to taste. Soft, flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely delicious. I ended up adding some of the hummus and tabbouleh to my shawarma, which made an already great sandwich even better. The service was just as impressive as the food. My server was genuinely kind, gave me a few extra minutes when I couldn't decide, checked in without hovering, and even offered to package my hot tea to go when he noticed I was still working on it. (For the record, ordering an entire pot of tea for one person was an ambitious life choice on my part.) The dining room isn't huge, and there's also a small market attached, which adds to the charm. The counter area looks more like an advertisement for other establishments...stickers, ads, coupons, notes and all sorts of motley items. The man who I think was doing three jobs in one (host, order taker, bathroom attendant) took my order and walked away. No friendly hello or enthusiasm of any kind. Once I took my seat I watched several people use their store just for the bathroom in the back...the back where there's no door separating the dining area vs. kitchen vs. warehouse vs. bathroom. People were standing in a line to use the restroom a foot from where my food was being made. I ordered a simple gyro sandwich with rice. The sandwich was pretty straight-forward: gyro slices, onions, tomatoes and tzatziki. When it arrive, there was no sign of tomatoes or onion...just different shades of brown drowning in too much tzatziki. I eventually found several onions and one tiny tomato underneath all the meat. Underneath...what a poor presentation. The rice was okay...nothing special. There was nothing here that would draw me back. Having several other Mediterranean food options within miles that I do enjoy has relegated this place to 'in emergency break glass' status.
