    Crab rangoons
    Evonne A.

This is a cozy spot hidden in plain sight off on Chandler Blvd. in downtown Chandler. The front table has unusual seating akin to two cushioned living room chairs, but I think it adds to the warmth of this tiny restaurant and for diners who really want to relax and enjoy their visit. The crab rangoons were fantastic with the delicate crunch on the outside and soft center. The chicken satay was an excellent appetizer and the peanut sauce was a wonderful complement. The Thai cucumber salad is sweet, crunchy, and out of this world. The beef Pad Thai was served hot and was very flavorful. I think I ate too fast because I took home leftovers. Then again, I must not have eaten too much as I had enough room to split the mango sticky rice for dessert! The Thai iced tea was refreshing throughout our meal. Though the background music was noticeable, it was because it was relaxing, at a decent level enough to enjoy the music, AND have a conversation at the table all at the same time. Our server was so sweet and every time she served us, she thanked us. But we were the ones who thanked her time and again because it was nice to finally find an excellent Thai restaurant in this neck of the woods! I hope it remains a staple here for a very long time! We will definitely be back again to try other dishes! Apologies for the pictures of half-eaten food! It was so yummy and we were so hungry and excited to eat, we forgot to take pictures until it was almost too late!

I'm totally coming back here! This place was amazing! I brought my family here and they enjoyed every bite which never happens with my little one. The broth in the beef noodle boat had layers of flavor and the yellow curry was wild! My little one said she felt so peaceful there.

I'll make this quick. The food was fantastic. The service was absolute perfection. However, they have roaches. When paying for the meal, a roach just casually walked around the cash register.

The service was very friendly and welcoming. The food was quite tasty. I enjoyed my fresh veggie rolls. The dipping sauce was delicious. I also got to try the chicken larb which had a nice overall flavor. The coconut soup was rich but a little pricey for what you get. The real deal was that as we were leaving to pay a well fed cockroach walked right across the counter. When they come out when the lights are on that's quite a sign. I feel bad but that was our experience.

Came here for dinner a few days ago for the first time. I was sat right away. The food came pretty fast. I ordered the iced Thai iced tea. It was a bit light for me. The chicken was great. I ordered the crispy chicken with sticky rice. The sticky rice was good just a little more on crunchy side too. The ambiance is nice with table or booth seating. One small table looking out window. The prices are reasonable.

This is definitely a gem in Chandler! Love all the food but I have to praise the pineapple fried rice for the wok fire taste (if you love fried rice, you know that's the flavor)! You have to come with a group and order different dishes to share so you try a bit of everything!

We were craving Thai food and excited to try this new restaurant I found on Yelp. Previous Thally's, was a fabulous family run Cambodia restaurant, Attaros Thai is about 1 year here. We were greeted upon arrival at 2pm on a Saturday and informed to self seat. We first tried a table near the window but moved to another table as the seats were too low for dining. Observed other people having similar issues with that table. I understand this is a small family restaurant although this deficiency truly should be corrected. Once we were seated the service was courtesy yet slow, understandable as there was only one server, answering phone and one cleaning tables, assisting. We asked a few questions and the server provided clear guidance. She mentioned the food is spicy and medium was hot for her. We ordered the Red curry medium spice and the Massamun curry dipped roti's hot spice. The Red curry dish came with white rice. The Massaman curry dish included some cucumber chutney and two roti's. The roti's are thinner than Nan bread and a healthier option as made of whole wheat flour rather refined white flower. Similar to a thick tortilla, also known as a Gordita. The restaurant is small with only eight tables and decor was simple contemporary highlighted with pictures of Thailand beaches and food. We both tried our food and immediately concluded the heat level was drastically lacking. We notified the server and she complimented us with high spice tolerance levels and provided us with a dish with additional chilies to add to our food. We tried adding the chilies and it was a minor improvement. I must say the Roti's were very tasty, probably the highlight for me. Although the food was good, it lacked the bold and spicy flavors we were craving when it comes to Thai food.

What a food!!!!! Yum! Not a huge restaurant but a small mom pop local shop with authentic Thai food that you will enjoy. Worth stopping by! They took 10-12 mins to cook but I could tell the food was fresh. Before the main course we had complimentary soups and spring rolls which were very good. Service was very clean, in time and fresh. Hospitality was good. New found lunch place for me to support local businesses. I will be back.

Crispy chicken Pick Pao and dumpling.

I was so excited about this Thai restaurant. I did a delivery order. I ordered the Crispy Chicken Pick pao and Attaros dumplings. The flavor of the pick Pao was so good but the chicken was very dry when it came to the bigger pieces. I ordered Thai hot but I didn't think it was hot. It definitely could have used a little more heat. Dumplings were really good but small. The dipping sauce was excellent. I would eat in next time to get the table service and try new items. Will try again.

Very disappointed in serving size! Paid $16 for 3 bites of beef boat noodles. Even the chicken panang didn't have much meat.

Found this place via yelp. Ate here with a group of 5 other ladies on 7-29-25. See my pics of restaurant interior & food. It's difficult to find as there's only a small sign on the west side of the building, facing the parking lot. There is a ramp located to the right of the 1 handicapped parking space. But when u get to the top i believe there are a few small steps to go up. We showed up about 10 mins before they opened at 11:30. The place was dark & looked like there was no one in the restaurant. Luckily, we waited & a gentleman (believe he's the cook) pulled up a few mins before 11:30 & entered the back. He didn't turn on the open sign or open the doors till ~11:32. Waitress greeted us from behind the counter when we walked in. She was very friendly. My group ordered appetizers of crab rangoon, salad roll & spring rolls (spring rolls are fried). Our orders: 3 chicken Pad Thai, 1 Sweet & Sour Chicken, 1 Shrimp Pad See Ew, & 1 Pad Ki Mao with chicken AKA drunken noodles (Medium). Our server said medium is too spicy for her & my friend, who usually likes spicy food, found the medium to be too hot. Before we received our appetizers we all got a bowl of delicious soup (maybe wonton?) & a yummy spring roll. Waitress told us it was part of " special" but we were not sure if that was a lunch special or because we ordered entrees? Plus, If we had known we wouldn't have ordered so many appetizers. By the time our entrees arrived we were all pretty full. Plus, the food seemed to take awhile to come out. I believe the cook was in a rush since he arrived right at opening time. The Crab Rangoon was tasty & contained quite a bit of crab taste, but think they use those imitation crab sticks like sushi restaurants. Those & the fried spring rolls are both served with sweet chili sauce. The salad rolls were huge & were served only with a spicy peanut sauce that most of us could not eat due to hotness. (I enjoyed the salad rolls more at home when i ate them with some leftover Zupa's mango yogurt dressing). The 3 Pad Thais contained some undercooked/raw rice noodles & my "no spice" version was very vinegary. The ladies who didn't get Pad Thai all enjoyed their flavorful entrees. I'll try them again but i won't order their Pad Thai. We planned to leave at 2pm so a friend & I both ordered soups to go for our hubbies at ~1:45. They weren't ready until about 2:30. Again, i believe this is due to cook not arriving earlier or being prepared. However, my husband LOVED the wonton soup i got him. He said the flavor is the closest he's EVER had in the USA compared to what he's eaten when he's visited China. At $15.99/quart the soup is pricy but delicious. They seem to have pretty steady business during lunchtime. Waitress split our check with no issues & brought credit card scanner to table. *FOR OWNERS: I'd suggest you open BY 11 & close at 2:30 or 3 before you open again for dinner or not close at all between because for dinner you should open by 4:30 pm. You really need a BIG SIGN on the FRONT of the building.

We wanted something spicy and halal and this place satisfied our cravings. We started with the steamed dumplings or siew mai and it was sooooooo good! So good that we ordered 2 more sets to bring back to our hotel. For soup, we ordered the Attaros beef soup and we loved it. It was spicy, it was tangy .. it was delicious. And then for entrees, we had the spicy crispy fish, the crispy chicken (with prik pao sauce) and garlic bok choy. All really good too. We love that all the dishes tasted authentic and home cooked. We also learned that the restaurant is only 5 months old so do try the restaurant out coz I can tell you you'll love the food here. Free parking lot is available (for about 10 cars).

However, when we came back so excited for more it was a weird experience here. We came at 5pm especially to try the banana Bajji listed as an option between 5pm-7pm only to be told it's not available. Then tried to order the Kara Kuzhambu with the lentil dumplings and told lentil dumplings not available anymore only okra/ eggplant option for this. The restaurant vibe felt really odd in general. We kind of felt like they weren't sure if they wanted to be open right now or something. The tables were not clean from lunch and they didn't get back to us when we asked questions. We decided to leave and come back another time given the great first experience. The next day, we decided to try again at lunch when the restaurant seems to do most of the business and I called to double check they have the Kara Kuzhambu with eggplant/ okra options just in case and two people seemed to have no idea what I am talking about. I spelled it, explained it's on the menu and it's a tamarind based curry- nothing. The dish I tried here before was very good and I really appreciate that their menu is marked for allergies and different diets. It seems to be very popular among Indian people and a fun cultural experience at weekend brunch/ lunch. However, the service felt really weird and unwelcoming this time and with the dishes listed on the menu but not being available it was a let down. The waiter told us the banana bajji and the lentil dumplings were discontinued completely so it was a bummer they are still listed on the menu. This confusing and unwelcoming exprience led to a big rating difference from me even though I really liked the food I tried in my first visit as well as the atmosphere. Still happy for that super fun first memory here though!
