Ambiance: I was looking for quality food rather than a fancy building, and someplace good for conversation. The reviews looked good so we decided to give it a try. The location is fine with enough parking for customers. This is a newer restaurant without the high dollar cosmetic appeal of some chain restaurants, but more of an authentic, "off the beaten path" feel. It was clean and comfortable! It was a nice place for our small group to talk without loud music or crowded chatter of a larger place. Service: The owner was very friendly and we chatted about the beauty of Thailand. She answered all our questions about various dishes and spice levels, and explained how their dishes are made from scratch with fresh ingredients which takes a little longer to prepare. She brought us water and drinks right away, and we ordered the chicken satay and dumplings for appetizers, which arrived shortly afterwards and both were delicious. The prices were very affordable. The owner came and checked on us several times to make sure everything was to our liking. Food: Our dishes came out shortly after the apps, so the wait was not long at all. I ordered shrimp pad Thai(medium spice) and it was perfect. Just hot enough to be spicy but still tons of flavor. My friends and I were craving Thai food and found this cozy, mom-and-pop-style restaurant near downtown Chandler. We're so glad we decided to try it! The Chicken Pad See Ew was delicious, honestly, the best I've ever had. I also appreciated that our server asked us to choose our preferred spice levels. Our server was wonderful throughout the entire meal. She was friendly, attentive, and transparent about the automatic gratuity. All of our food arrived quickly and at the same time, and the portions were generous for the price. The only issue was that I received Thai fried rice instead of the pineapple fried rice I ordered. When I mentioned it, our server promptly addressed the mistake. However, it appeared that pineapple had simply been added on the side and that someone had attempted to remove the tomatoes from the original dish. I would have preferred for the correct dish to be remade from the beginning. Overall, we had a great experience, and the food and service were both excellent. Came here for the first time because I saw it had decent reviews and unfortunately did not have a good experience and was very disappointed. We came while a big group was here but they were wrapping up. The waitress was clearly busy and super nice but we waited over 35 minutes for our food at one point another worker even asked if we had ordered yet because we were waiting so long. After our main dishes came out 15 minutes later our appetizer was brought out which we had to ask about where that was and we were basically done with our main dishes when it came out. We had to essentially box up our appetizer because we had been here for so long. I ordered the pad Thai which is one of my go to dishes and was disappointed. There was no sauce and it was very bland. I wouldn't recommend getting this dish unless you like little flavors. Also got the Thai boat soup which was better but portion was smaller than expected. The best dish was the chicken appetizer (which came out last). Additionally to note parking is not great we had to park on the Street which wasn't in the best area. I also got to try the chicken larb which had a nice overall flavor. The coconut soup was rich but a little pricey for what you get. The real deal was that as we were leaving to pay a well fed cockroach walked right across the counter. When they come out when the lights are on that's quite a sign. We were craving Thai food and excited to try this new restaurant I found on Yelp. Previous Thally's, was a fabulous family run Cambodia restaurant, Attaros Thai is about 1 year here. We were greeted upon arrival at 2pm on a Saturday and informed to self seat. We first tried a table near the window but moved to another table as the seats were too low for dining. Observed other people having similar issues with that table. I understand this is a small family restaurant although this deficiency truly should be corrected. Once we were seated the service was courtesy yet slow, understandable as there was only one server, answering phone and one cleaning tables, assisting. We asked a few questions and the server provided clear guidance. She mentioned the food is spicy and medium was hot for her. We ordered the Red curry medium spice and the Massamun curry dipped roti's hot spice. The Red curry dish came with white rice. The Massaman curry dish included some cucumber chutney and two roti's. The roti's are thinner than Nan bread and a healthier option as made of whole wheat flour rather refined white flower. Similar to a thick tortilla, also known as a Gordita. The restaurant is small with only eight tables and decor was simple contemporary highlighted with pictures of Thailand beaches and food. We both tried our food and immediately concluded the heat level was drastically lacking. We notified the server and she complimented us with high spice tolerance levels and provided us with a dish with additional chilies to add to our food. We tried adding the chilies and it was a minor improvement. I must say the Roti's were very tasty, probably the highlight for me. Although the food was good, it lacked the bold and spicy flavors we were craving when it comes to Thai food. read more

I absolutely love finding a hidden gem! Attaros was great. The food was fantastic. The service was excellent. The price was reasonable. I wish we had found it on day 1 instead of the night before we leave the state. Everything was made to order and that did not go unnoticed. This is a cozy spot hidden in plain sight off on Chandler Blvd. in downtown Chandler. The front table has unusual seating akin to two cushioned living room chairs, but I think it adds to the warmth of this tiny restaurant and for diners who really want to relax and enjoy their visit. The crab rangoons were fantastic with the delicate crunch on the outside and soft center. The chicken satay was an excellent appetizer and the peanut sauce was a wonderful complement. The Thai cucumber salad is sweet, crunchy, and out of this world. The beef Pad Thai was served hot and was very flavorful. I think I ate too fast because I took home leftovers. Then again, I must not have eaten too much as I had enough room to split the mango sticky rice for dessert! The Thai iced tea was refreshing throughout our meal. Though the background music was noticeable, it was because it was relaxing, at a decent level enough to enjoy the music, AND have a conversation at the table all at the same time. Our server was so sweet and every time she served us, she thanked us. This is a very unassuming place in a tiny old strip mall right off Chandler Blvd. Don't let that scare you. They were very friendly and when we talked to them they said they want to focus on the food and then when they have loyal patrons they will make the place pretty. We ate lunch here on a Wednesday. Now for the food... We tried the Panang Curry with Shrimp and this was the best Panang curry we have found in the area. Super flavorful. Next time we will try it with Chicken. Pad Thai with chicken was 5/5 it has a nice saucy consistency and was not dry sticky noodles. Some of the best pad Thai I have had. Crispy basil chicken. I was so excited about this Thai restaurant. I did a delivery order. I ordered the Crispy Chicken Pick pao and Attaros dumplings. The flavor of the pick Pao was so good but the chicken was very dry when it came to the bigger pieces. I ordered Thai hot but I didn't think it was hot. It definitely could have used a little more heat. Dumplings were really good but small. The dipping sauce was excellent. I would eat in next time to get the table service and try new items. Found this place via yelp. Ate here with a group of 5 other ladies on 7-29-25. See my pics of restaurant interior & food. It's difficult to find as there's only a small sign on the west side of the building, facing the parking lot. There is a ramp located to the right of the 1 handicapped parking space. But when u get to the top i believe there are a few small steps to go up. We showed up about 10 mins before they opened at 11:30. The place was dark & looked like there was no one in the restaurant. Luckily, we waited & a gentleman (believe he's the cook) pulled up a few mins before 11:30 & entered the back. He didn't turn on the open sign or open the doors till ~11:32. Waitress greeted us from behind the counter when we walked in. She was very friendly. My group ordered appetizers of crab rangoon, salad roll & spring rolls (spring rolls are fried). Our orders: 3 chicken Pad Thai, 1 Sweet & Sour Chicken, 1 Shrimp Pad See Ew, & 1 Pad Ki Mao with chicken AKA drunken noodles (Medium). Our server said medium is too spicy for her & my friend, who usually likes spicy food, found the medium to be too hot. Before we received our appetizers we all got a bowl of delicious soup (maybe wonton?) & a yummy spring roll. Waitress told us it was part of " special" but we were not sure if that was a lunch special or because we ordered entrees? Plus, If we had known we wouldn't have ordered so many appetizers. By the time our entrees arrived we were all pretty full. Plus, the food seemed to take awhile to come out. I believe the cook was in a rush since he arrived right at opening time. The Crab Rangoon was tasty & contained quite a bit of crab taste, but think they use those imitation crab sticks like sushi restaurants. Those & the fried spring rolls are both served with sweet chili sauce. The salad rolls were huge & were served only with a spicy peanut sauce that most of us could not eat due to hotness. (I enjoyed the salad rolls more at home when i ate them with some leftover Zupa's mango yogurt dressing). The 3 Pad Thais contained some undercooked/raw rice noodles & my "no spice" version was very vinegary. The ladies who didn't get Pad Thai all enjoyed their flavorful entrees. I'll try them again but i won't order their Pad Thai. We planned to leave at 2pm so a friend & I both ordered soups to go for our hubbies at ~1:45. They weren't ready until about 2:30. Again, i believe this is due to cook not arriving earlier or being prepared. However, my husband LOVED the wonton soup i got him. He said the flavor is the closest he's EVER had in the USA compared to what he's eaten when he's visited China. At $15.99/quart the soup is pricy but delicious. They seem to have pretty steady business during lunchtime. Waitress split our check with no issues & brought credit card scanner to table. *FOR OWNERS: I'd suggest you open BY 11 & close at 2:30 or 3 before you open again for dinner or not close at all between because for dinner you should open by 4:30 pm. We wanted something spicy and halal and this place satisfied our cravings. We started with the steamed dumplings or siew mai and it was sooooooo good! So good that we ordered 2 more sets to bring back to our hotel. For soup, we ordered the Attaros beef soup and we loved it. It was spicy, it was tangy .. it was delicious. And then for entrees, we had the spicy crispy fish, the crispy chicken (with prik pao sauce) and garlic bok choy. All really good too. We love that all the dishes tasted authentic and home cooked. What an incredible hidden gem! Attaros Thai is easily the best Thai food in Chandler. We ordered the Massaman curry with rice and roti, pineapple fried rice, and Tom Yum soup--everything was absolutely delicious and packed with authentic flavor. The server was super sweet and attentive. We thank her for the good food and the chef walked outside and greeted us. Really enjoyed the whole experience and we are already planning to go back. I used to come here all the time when this was still Thaily's, the Cambodian place. I was pretty bummed when Thaily's closed down since it was right down the street from me and so good. I found out Attaros moved in from the Thaily's Facebook page, and Attaros was highly recommended. I figured I had to try it out to see if it could fill the curry void in my heart. There's a lot of Thai food in the area, so Attaros has done steep competition. Nonetheless, the food was fantastic. We got yellow and green curry and the crab rangoons. I feel like you can never go wrong with crab rangoons, but these ones were really good. For the curry we got medium spice which actually packed quite a bit of a punch. I really enjoyed it as well as the flavor that it oozed. The owners were really nice as well. We ordered pick up but the interior is small and cozy if you wanted to dine in. Don't be fooled by the location or the parking lot, The food is worth it. Still missing Thaily's but I'm very happy to have found a new spot. read more

My fiance and I ordered takeout from this place and it was DELICIOUS! We had the crab rangoons (which are a MUST TRY) and I had the green curry. My fiance ordered the yellow curry! All the food was so delicious and flavorful and it is really close to our place so I am sure we will become regulars!! Just to warn you, I consider myself slightly above super pathetic in terms of spice, so medium spice was tough for me! I ate it anyway but definitely broke a sweat! Go try this place! read more

The tofu satay had zero spices on it, had no sear at all, and was tasteless. I read that the peanut sauce was good but it is not a sauce at all, it's more of a paste and is not good. The green curry was very thin and there wasn't very much chicken in it. read more

The curry was good, however, for $15 it came in nearly a half pint container, which would be a lunch portion. Not a full entree.
