This is hands down the best Thai food we've been able to find locally. The service was amazing from start to finish. Everyone working there was attentive, sweet, and genuinely welcoming. One thing that pleasantly surprised us was the water. It actually tasted like reverse osmosis water or filtered, which is a rarity these days. Usually when you go out to eat, the water tastes like it's coming from a garden hose, so that was an unexpected bonus! We started with the crab puffs, and they were easily the best we've ever had. We also ordered the green curry, which was incredible. We chose spice level 2, and it was a little spicier than expected, but still absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The Pad See Ew with wide noodles was also fantastic and cooked perfectly. we ordered a spice level two for that one and it was definitely more mild than the curry but honestly, they were both still mild enough to feed our one year-old Our food came out incredibly fast, and it was obvious they were staying busy with a steady stream of takeout orders as well. I honestly can't believe we haven't tried this place sooner, especially since it's so close to us. We're thrilled to have found such a great local restaurant with outstanding food and service. We needed a place to stop on the road and we came across i Thai Bistro. We had never been to Awatukee Foothills before and the lake in the middle of desert with the mountains in the background was the perfect setting . The menu is pretty decent. Lots of vegetarian, vegan & gluten free options available. I went for the pumpkin curry (medium heat ) & my hubby did the Massaman Curry Chicken ( Thai spicy ) . Delicious ! Service was excellent ! This hidden spot in Ahwatukee was such a great find for us! It's a small restaurant with only about five tables, but the space is nicely decorated and has a fun, lively atmosphere. We ordered the vegetable spring rolls, Pad Thai, and Phanaeng curry. The Pad Thai was the star of the meal, so flavorful and honestly hard to stop eating. The Phanaeng curry was also very good, though I felt like it could have used a little more depth of flavor. The vegetable spring rolls were super crispy and a great starter. Excellent experience here for lunch with family last Sunday! This is a little place we randomly found online while house hunting -- very unassuming and casual interior. We all are huge fans of Thai food. We were sat pretty quickly -- it was pretty busy which was a good first impression! We ordered: pad Thai with chicken, teriyaki chicken, crab wontons, kung pao tofu, mango curry and Thai fried rice. Everyone loved their food! As it was our first time in Daniel made several recommendations and was able to answer any questions we had. Now let's get to the really important stuff: the food. We ordered avocado summer rolls for our appetizer. They came with a sweet and sour sauce and a peanut sauce. They were fresh and delicious. For our entrees I ordered the mango curry with chicken at a medium heat. The flavors burst inside my mouth and made me feel like I was in Thailand. The veggies were cooked but still crisp, the chicken was tender and the sauce was to die for. My husband had the Singapore noodles with chicken for his protein . The vegetables were sautéed to perfection with tender juicy chicken and flavor that was out of this world. We will definitely be making the 35 minute drive to this place again. So GOOD!!! My husband and I got takeout from here this evening due to an urgent need for Pad Thai, and we were both so incredibly impressed with how delicious our food was! I got the Pad Thai with shrimp and it was exceptional, he got the yellow curry and loved it as well. Pineapple Fried Rice: Quite good with a hint of curry flavor that gives it an interesting twist. Ordered mild, and though it's not as spicy as the tom yum noodle soup, the curry spice can make it a bit spicy to some. 2. Tom Yum Noodle Soup: I love tom yum, and though this doesn't have the mama tomyum ramen noodles style- feeling since it's with a different type of noodles, it's still really good. The broth is more like tom yum nam khon (creamy tom yum), almost like tomato soup. Ordered mild again and can be a bit spicy.. but spice is exactly what makes it feel authentic. 3. Coconut Ice Cream with Sticky Rice~ The ice cream was a bit sweet, but it's still quite nice with the sticky rice. I miss my Thai desserts haha. And of course, must have Thai iced tea hahah. I get back to my hotel right down the street and when I open the container it looked ok so I added my chili flakes and when I went to get my first bite it was all stuck together. One big chicken pad see ew lump. There was absolutely no way they cooked that meal fresh. I got there in 9 minutes, it was completely packed so that would have given them 6-7 minutes to cook which is possible but if they had it wouldn't have been a stuck together lump. It was hot so that leads me to believe that it was some kind of leftovers heated in a microwave. But I was hungry and had nothing else so I forced my way though and ate about half of what I could pull apart. Bad decision. I'm usually a once in the morning kind of person but it's been 4 times so far today and let's just say it wasn't pretty. I really wanted to like this place but never again. read more

This place was good!! This may be the best Thai here in ahwatukee boundaries. The panang curry was a knock out. I got mine mild and it still had some nice heat to it so be wary haha. Cute interior, very simple. Really nice staff I think my server was Ariel. I got the lunch portion. It's perfect for lunch. I'd suggest they just add $1 to the lunch combo total and just throw in the soda or like a tiny cup of soup to drive the value home but it was the right amount of food. My fiance and I were visiting the area and stumbled upon this newly opened Thai restaurant. They are currently in their soft opening but still have a robust menu. The dining area is small, but enough to accommodate some larger groups. We were promptly greeted and seated by the friendly staff. After studying the menu, we placed our order which was out within 10 minutes. I really appreciate that they have a good selection of vegetarian appetizers and they even have vegan options if requested. We ordered the vegetable dumplings to begin and for our entrees, the Garlic with shrimp and the garlic noodles with chicken, both "hot" spicy level. The waitress brought us a bottle of sambal to add additional spice as desired, which we both did as we like it pretty spicy. They do have a "Thai hot" spice level, however not having been here before we erred on the side of caution. Our vegetable dumplings arrived first, but only a couple minutes before our entrees, so timing could be a bit better. Not a big deal though. The dumplings were delicious and felt "meaty" even though they are vegetarian. They were served with a sweet chili sauce, which we both kicked up with Sambal. Our entrees were definitely the star of the meal. We both agreed that they were some of the better developed flavors that we've had at a Thai restaurant in awhile. Mine was piping hot, I actually burnt my mouth on the broccoli, but it was worth it lol. The portion sizes are generous too, I ended up taking over half of mine home. The staff was very friendly and attentive, checking on us multiple times throughout our dinner to ensure everything was tasting well. My first time having drunken noodles (medium spice level) and I was amazed and hooked from the first bite! The noodle texture is interesting, but that's the noodle, not the restaurant's fault. After a few bites you get used to it and the flavors make you forget the world around you. It wad the perfect level of spicy. Enough that I could taste it without compromising the other flavors of the dish. I also tried the crab puffs and they were so flavorful, would definitely be getting them again. You cant go wrong with either the Thai lemon iced tea or the Thai iced tea, I tried them both. When you sit inside, the drink is pretty large, you have been warned. I did not finish my food in one sitting but it made for a great dinner later that night. The service was great! Attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. It feels like visiting a friend or family. The lady that in the front is rocking it, seating people, serving food and taking care of the front of house. The food was incredible and reasonably priced.
