They provided a high chair for our granddaughter and offered to pick up some things she'd dropped. The lunch menu provides a very good and varied selection of dishes priced by the protein you select. I had the drunken noodle medium spice. It was great! Just the right amount of noodles, veggies and chicken. My wife had the ginger on the lunch menu with chicken. After checking out the International Travel Show, we were ready for lunch. Fair warning on navigation: If you're coming from downtown, the Google Map GPS might send you in circles. Look for it right at the corner of 7th St and Oak. Also, keep in mind that parking directly in front is pretty limited. I wasn't expecting much from the outside, but the interior is incredibly spacious--definitely a great choice if you're coming with a large group. They use a robot to deliver the food, which is always a fun touch, but the human service was equally great. As for the food, we dove into their signature dishes, and here's the breakdown: Kao Soi Chicken: This was a win. Often, Thai places overdo it with sodium or MSG, but this version felt balanced and flavorful without that heavy salt "kick." House Roasted Duck: The duck itself was prepared well, though the house sauce was a bit too salty for my personal preference. Duck Curry: Between the two duck dishes, the Curry Sauce was the standout. It had a much better depth of flavor compared to the house sauce. I had the drunken noodles. If Monday has a different Chef compared to other days based on other pictures in reviews, today's Chef butchered the fresh wide noodles used in this dish. Also a bit oily than it should be also had to many green bell peppers. For a dish ordered with a protein it was more of a vegetable dish. Flavor wise it was good. It can get pretty busy at any time of the evening so be prepared for a wait and for them to take some time to check back around with you. However, the tom yum wings were a pleasant surprise. We were in Phoenix on a business trip and went to another Thai restaurant, but without a reservation the wait was one hour and 20 minutes so we decided to try this restaurant. I'm so glad we did! The food was AMAZING. The menu was extensive. The food was fresh and the portions were large. We had plenty of leftovers. The restaurant had a steady stream of customers it was nicely decorated. The waitress was very friendly and funny. Once the food was ready, the server walks alongside a robot with a happy cat face that is carrying all the dishes and the server will take the dishes and put it on your table. So decided to have a few entrees for family style at home: pad Thai chicken, Rama, pork pad see ew, chow mein, tofu avocado green curry and an order of vegetable rolls. Everything was so tasty! The four of us (plus an almost 2 yo) filled heaping plates and we still had enough food for a second dinner. Amazing! Pad Thai was spot on in flavor. I was surprised to really enjoy the chow mein and the avocado green curry. May need to try the pineapple curry in the future. Another surprise hit for me was the Rama! I love a good Thai restaurant, and this one delivered well! I got the drunken noodles, scale 1 spicy, with fried tofu and made gluten free. Ugh it was so good and I had enough leftovers for another entire meal. It came out steaming hot and was packed with so much flavor. A win!! I have had the massaman, panang, red, green, and yellow. The red and the parang being favorites of those. The spice is a bit inconsistent. I have gotten hot that tastes mild, medium that tastes like hot, and some on....so I usually side with whatever the hottest I am feeling that day, knowing that it will most likely be milder than I like. Sometimes the extra chicken makes up for a limited portion, and the price is higher than other Thai places around with similar taste, but the portion is fair for the price uncharge (most times). The pictures show the drunken noodles with chicken and omg they were freakin bomb. Found this place by accident on yelp but was so very happy. The food was amazing as was the service. I had the Panang curry and it was loaded with lots of tender chicken, green beans and peppers. I don't like too much spice and ordered it with no extra spice just be careful. It was great but I could increase my spice order. My friends got the drunken noodles with pork and there were lots of veggies and tender pork. They was also and order of Pad Thai and it was excellent. Seriously, the food was very good and fast. The service was so attentive without being overbearing. Always had refilled waters. I will come back for sure and highly recommend. We went here last night and everything was really good. We arrived not long after they opened for dinner (apparently they close for about an hour each day between 3pm-4pm) and the place was already packed. We were seated right away and it didn't take us very long to decide on our items but the staff were really busy so it took a while for someone to get back to our table. We decided to get the yellow curry, the seafood drunken noodles, and the kao soi. A couple of us also had the taro bubble tea. The kao soi was interesting and my favorite item because it had a brick of crispy noodles (they kind of looked like the dehydrated ramen noodles) on top of a dish of cooked noodles in a milk broth. We also had an appetizer of edamame. Each dish was very large and too much for one person to consume alone. We assumed that each portion was for an individual but it looked like they were meant to be shared family-style. We got boxes for the leftovers and the cost was a little over $100 for everything, including the drinks. I'd definitely visit again if I'm in the area. The restaurant has a very small parking lot so keep that in mind if you have a large vehicle or if you're here when the restaurant is busy. read more
