Thai Fried Rice, evil noodle, wings

Food was sooo yummy, affordable, and workers were all super nice!! It was Valentine's Day and they offered every table complimentary dessert on the house which is so sweet love it. Would be back again!!

Drunken Noodle lunch

We stumbled across this place and decided to dine here for a late lunch. Like most Thai restaurants, they close from 3-5pm each day and we arrived at 2:37pm on a Thursday. We asked if it was okay to dine in and the lady was visibly upset as it was near closing. We informed her we wouldn't be long, but she still had an attitude about it. The inside is very small and offers a handful of tables. For lunch we had the drunken noodles and pad thai which was served with a garden salad. The salad was delicious and the dressing offered a spicy touch which we loved! Both the pad Thai & drunken noodles were excellent as well. Portions are fair and pricing is good. Even though we were given the cold shoulder and the lady could've had a better attitude, we will still come back because the food is good! I guess next time we'll just come a little earlier.

I really like the lunch special- the salad was fresh and crispy but I wasn't a fan of the dressing which tasted a little too much like soy sauce. The green curry came as heat level 2 (medium) and was pretty spicy.

Eggplant is always my favorite dish. I typically start with the papaya salad. The medium is spicy so I recommend mild.

Great value Thai spot - huge portions! I'm living alone right now and 2 entrees & a dessert was 4 meals for me. I ordered online for 11am pick up but it wasn't ready until about 11:12am, maybe because they open exact at 11am. Maybe they should let the earliest scheduled time be 11:15am for clear expectations. The restaurant is relatively small with a few tables and casual environment - I'm not sure if they have a bathroom, didn't see any signs. As for the food, it was pretty good for the price but I wasn't blown away. Got the pad thai with chicken, penang curry with tofu, and mango sticky rice. The pad thai was not bad but it was mostly noodles, wish it had some more toppings. Very filling though. The penang curry with tofu was flavorful and I could really taste the lime leaves. Tofu was very tender and delicious. It came with a take out box of rice. The mango sticky rice was good - mango nice and sweet, perfectly ripened. I do wish there was more coconut milk added, it was a little dry. But still good! Might become my local Thai spot for affordable and filling take out.

This hole in the wall Thai restaurant has been a spot i have consistently gone to at least once a month for the last 5+ years. Food is always fresh, consistent and can't forget to mention authentic. Best place to get curry (every one is delicious) and Tom Kha Gai soup. I will forever support this lovely place. Update: Got takeout last night and did notice that the large Tom Kha Gai soups container is only filled half way, which is new. Normally the large is filled to the top. That is the only negative thing i can say.

Drunken noodles

Soda Bun! You get me every time with your drunken noodles! I forget how much I love the flavor, the diverse textures throughout, spice level. Yum. We ordered for pick up and it was ready when I arrived, still hot when we got it home. Not my favorite pad Thai unfortunately but we like the panang with beef and Thai fried rice with chicken.

I usually am not the biggest fan of Thai food but my girl friend was in the mood, we went to this place and now I have a new outlook on the food. This food was very flavorful, big portions and had enough heat. I had the spicy basil and she got evil noodles which was also rich in flavor. I have found a new love for Thai food.

PAD THAI WITH CHICKEN

Pad Thai no spice at all but delicious.I expected a minimal level of heat but it's great!

I have such hard time trying to add comments from my prior review.. I reviewed this place earlier this week.. Went back and tried to add comments and pics and ended up deleting the review After going to this place twice... I came to conclusion that this is one of my fav mom and pop Thai restaurant. Nice clean little place and food is really good.. Only complaint is that some of the portions are on the small side.. I first ordered drunken noodle which by far best one I've ever had. Finally got to try the cury which was really good. Crazy noodle also really good similar style to pad Thai. Can't wait to come back and try some other dishes.. Their Thai hot is pretty dang hot fyi.

Mango sticky rice

This place is by my house and I wasn't super impressed by the outside. I ordered mango sticky rice online and came to pick it up 30 min later. The inside is small but smells really good. I would probably not dine-in. It was packed (Saturday night) and I picked up my order at the counter. After tip it was $12. WORTH IT. The mango sticky rice was fantastic. It was a very satisfying dessert. I haven't tried the other menu items, but it looks like Soda Bun is vegetarian and vegan friendly. Lucky for me, this place is super close and I can walk off the sticky rice to and from the restaurant!

Fresh veggie rolls (these are different than the veggie rolls, which are fried)
E W.

Amazing food - so tasty and authentic! Very aromatic (and a tad spicy) red curry and also the best fresh veggie rolls and homemade tasting dipping peanut sauce. I usually do not get Thai tea, but there was a Yelp offer for free Thai iced tea with entree order. The tea tasted clean and refreshing, perfect for a hot AZ summer. I also had no side effects like I usually get with other Thai iced teas. This place is a neighborhood gem.

Always a 10/10. Never disappoints! We started ordering from here a few years ago and it has remained as our go to Thai spot.

Can you make vegetarian soups? I don't mean soup without the meat and vegetables instead. Do you make vegetarian broths? Or is your broth made with shrimp and meat?

Our soup base is vegetarian but to make sure that you will get the best of it you can ask for Vegan.

Item M14 -Gang Kiew Waan Roti from the photos says it's served w/ roti. But we were charged an additional $3 for roti, which was not mentioned to me when putting in the order. Only after we received our order and saw the receipt did I check Google. Web link on Google works and it appears they changed the name of the item and removed roti from the name. 2. To go portions are small for the price. Chicken larb was enough for like 2 people and had only one piece of lettuce. Papaya salad was also small and 1/2 the container was garnishes (carrots/cabbage). 3. For a noodle soup, any other place would put noodles separate from its broth. My khao soi came all in one container. Forgot to take a photo while it was in the container but there's an old photo of it somewhere on Yelp. 4. Crab fried rice had barely any crab. 5. There was no white rice. Places usually provide some white rice regardless if you order fried rice but I guess that's an extra charge here. 6. We ordered medium spicy for majority of the dishes because one person can't handle spicy but everything came out mild tasting. Even my khao soi, which I ordered hot spicy level, came out mild. 7. Thai tea was missing. After ordering, I asked the person on the phone to read back my order to me. She listed everything I had ordered including the thai tea. But after the order was picked up (not by me), the thai tea was not included in the order. It's a bit out of the way from here to there so no one is going to drive all the way back to get it. I went elsewhere close by for the thai tea. One of my friends always goes for the yellow curry and I loved the masaman curry once, and honestly I don't think you can order anything bad off this menu. Also, the decor is very Thai and very fun. The only downside is that the place is pretty small, and on one visit we had a waitress who came off a bit intimidating. That said, I've also gone with a group of twelve and they were super accommodating, which says a lot. Five stars regardless! The food is just that good!

The basil chicken had almost no basil flavor at all. I only found a single basil leaf in the entire dish, which took away from what should be a signature ingredient. The Tom Yum soup was fine, but not memorable, and the spice level across both dishes was surprisingly mild for a Thai restaurant. Based on my experience, the strong reviews here feel a bit overstated. I was hoping for more authentic flavor and seasoning than what was served.

The peanut dipping sauce was excellent. I tried the pad Thai and my mom tried the drunken noodles. I ordered 3/5 or "hot" and she ordered 0/5. The pad Thai was a bit wet, it could have used a bit less sauce. It was almost a soup. The noodles were good but there unfortunately was almost no spice. I was pretty disappointed, as I was really looking forward to sweating from some good Thai spice. 3/5 should be hot, not mild. Was the weakest "hot" I've ever had. I've had many 2/5s elsewhere that were far hotter.
