Tom Kah - Chicken - Cup

First off, I want to compliment the staff. Jessica is extremely courteous. She was half way to the kitchen when she saw an elderly couple get to the door and she walked past them to hold the door open for them as they were leaving. Kindness extended is a rare gift. Ok, so on to the food! I got the Tom Kah soup with fried tofu. Very flavorful. The soup was thick and had so much flavor. The wife got the red curry with no rice and they added extra veggies. She said her curry was delicious and fulfilling. I got the Mussaman curry, I omitted the onions & added pineapple which they were happy to do so. I got the heat at a level four and it was perfect. Alan is also very friendly. The customer service alone is a great reason to stop on by.

We were nearby and decided to order takeout from here. We ordered the Pad Thai with chicken, Pad Gra Pao with chicken, and Green Curry with chicken. It took a long time for the food to be ready. I went when it was time to pick up my order and then had to wait for almost 20 more minutes before the food was ready. The food looked good to me. The Pad Thai with chicken was just okay and the taste almost reminded me of an enchilada. The Pad Gra Pao with chicken was good and the Green Curry was good as well. Overall, I thought this place was okay for Thai food.

Ordered take out for dinner. It took about 30 minutes due to a busy night. We ordered the following: Crab puffs (6) with dipping fish sauce -For a take out order, the puffs were still crunchy when we got it home. Super plus! Your average crab puffs. I'd give it a 8/10 Pad woon sen- Our favorite thai dish! For $14.51, I was expecting a little more. The noodles had a chewy mushy texture and a bit too salty over all. Enjoyed the fried tofu and veggies. Panang curry- my favorite entree option for the night! I'd give this dish a 9/10! Ordered a 3 level spice and it hit the spot for heat. Overall, then menu prices are not up to date at the restaurant and online. These 3 items were about $40. No leftovers. A bit too expensive for the size you receive. Glad we tried a new spot. The staff was friendly and the service was good. Tables were clean. There's plenty of seating areas and also an outside patio (obviously hence the name). I'd probably like to try the lunch menu instead next time.

Tried this place out on a rainy day and it didn't disappoint! Walking in the staff were very friendly and the restaurant was clean. There's a good chunk of seating in their patio area as opposed to the indoor seating. We had the pad Thai which was tasty! I also had the Tom yum soup and it was good and sweet with lots of mushrooms. We also had chicken friend rice with spice level at 4 and it was sooo good! Check this place out if you're in the area!

Good Thai food modified for the American palate. If you are looking for tasty but milder versions of dishes this is your jam.

It's been…read moreabout 1-2 years since I've last eaten or ordered from here and decided to order to go for dinner. The web link on Yelp didn't work so I used menu photos from Yelp. 1. Item M14 -Gang Kiew Waan Roti from the photos says it's served w/ roti. But we were charged an additional $3 for roti, which was not mentioned to me when putting in the order. Only after we received our order and saw the receipt did I check Google. Web link on Google works and it appears they changed the name of the item and removed roti from the name. 2. To go portions are small for the price. Chicken larb was enough for like 2 people and had only one piece of lettuce. Papaya salad was also small and 1/2 the container was garnishes (carrots/cabbage). 3. For a noodle soup, any other place would put noodles separate from its broth. My khao soi came all in one container. Forgot to take a photo while it was in the container but there's an old photo of it somewhere on Yelp. 4. Crab fried rice had barely any crab. 5. There was no white rice. Places usually provide some white rice regardless if you order fried rice but I guess that's an extra charge here. 6. We ordered medium spicy for majority of the dishes because one person can't handle spicy but everything came out mild tasting. Even my khao soi, which I ordered hot spicy level, came out mild. 7. Thai tea was missing. After ordering, I asked the person on the phone to read back my order to me. She listed everything I had ordered including the thai tea. But after the order was picked up (not by me), the thai tea was not included in the order. It's a bit out of the way from here to there so no one is going to drive all the way back to get it. I went elsewhere close by for the thai tea. Order w/current pricing from their site: Tom Kha Chicken (med) $18 Thai Papaya Salad (med) $14 Larb Chicken (med) $16 Green Curry w/Ckn Zucchini Eggplant (M14 Gang Kiew Waan Roti) $20 Roti $3 Khao Soi $17 Crab Fried Rice (mild) $25 Thai Iced Tea $4.50

The rice paper was a little dry and firm and they were wrapped in saran wrap probably made well ahead of time. They did not have much flavor and did not come with a peanut sauce rather a sweet sauce with peanuts on top. The eggplant with garlic sauce was mushy and did not have much flavor at all. I would NJ it recommend. I was very happy, however, with the Pad Woon Sen (glass noodles). I also tried the drunken noodles - they were good but extremely spicy despite being ordered at 3/5. Both of these noodle dishes were supposed to be three, but the drunken noodles were 10 times hotter than the PWS, almost too hot to eat.

The basil chicken had almost no basil flavor at all. I only found a single basil leaf in the entire dish, which took away from what should be a signature ingredient. The Tom Yum soup was fine, but not memorable, and the spice level across both dishes was surprisingly mild for a Thai restaurant. Based on my experience, the strong reviews here feel a bit overstated. I was hoping for more authentic flavor and seasoning than what was served.

It's a clean, small mom and pop with open style booths down one side and a couple small tables towards the front. The gentleman behind the counter greeted us immediately and offered to sit wherever we like. We ordered fresh spring rolls which were very good, nice and fresh and large. The peanut dipping sauce was excellent. I tried the pad Thai and my mom tried the drunken noodles. I ordered 3/5 or "hot" and she ordered 0/5. The pad Thai was a bit wet, it could have used a bit less sauce. It was almost a soup. The noodles were good but there unfortunately was almost no spice. I was pretty disappointed, as I was really looking forward to sweating from some good Thai spice. 3/5 should be hot, not mild. Was the weakest "hot" I've ever had. I've had many 2/5s elsewhere that were far hotter.
