The Bistro Board was easily the highlight. Surprisingly, everything on it was really good, even the Brussels sprouts, and I normally don't even like Brussels sprouts. It was a great variety and definitely the thing I'd order again. The fries were also really good, especially with the different dipping sauces. Cute space with prompt and friendly service upon arrival. The menu is varied, and I enjoyed everything I had and can't wait to return to try more items~ Tried the appetizer Those Camarones, and the sauce and bread were both tasty, but the shrimp tended to be a little salty. The cremini sacchetti was phenomenal. I loved the hint of lemon, which balanced the richness of the cheese well. It doesn't come with protein, so I added blackened chicken, which complemented the flavors well--the blackened chicken is like Cajun seasoned. Tiramisu tres leches was good, but there seemed to be a layer of chocolate, which threw me off. Heading home from the airport and craving Humbles wedge salad and meatballs. Called in my order to come home and be so disappointed. My husband and I used to frequent Humble often, but seeing a slip in the food and the environment lately which clearly flows through to the pickup. This salad was nothing more than crappy edges of lettuce, including core parts, maybe one piece of bacon, few onion pieces and two and half tomatoes. With so many options to visit and more being built all the time, Humble has fallen lower on our list of places to go. PS. Stop cranking your music so loud at evening service. I've reviewed Humble Bistro in the past and have been several times, but had to tell you about the amazing meal and customer service we experienced tonight. I had ordered the Cremini Sacchetti and added Short Rib (waitress recommended) a few bites into my dish I thought there was a fairly large piece of plastic in my meal. It looked like the cut off end of a bag. We stopped a busser and asked if he could have the manager come over. I wasn't at all mad just wanted them to know. Manager comes over and says "Oh! This is actually the shell of the garlic clove. Still not edible but not plastic. I'll take it back and get you a new one." I said no, totally fine and my mistake I was happy to keep the dish. She insisted saying it was already cold, she'd bring a new one and away she went. My meal came back out and was a different dish. Still had short rib but different pasta and sauce. Right then our waitress came over to check on us and asked how everything was. I told her (laughingly) about my "plastic" and that the manager insisted on bringing out a new dish but got the wrong one. Again, I wasn't at all mad I was more laughing about my mistake. She then insists on correcting it. I said several times it was totally fine but she insisted. Not only did I get the correct dish they boxed up the incorrect one for someone at our table to take home. I just thought that was amazing customer service. They insisted on getting it right despite it being my error. You just really don't hear about great customer service experiences like this and had to share. We ordered the following appetizers: Cauliflower Tahina $12 and they were delicious. I recommend. The flavor was on point. I would order again. Humble Bistro has a warm and inviting atmosphere and is definitely a beautiful space. The décor feels cozy and upscale, which made us excited to try it. Unfortunately, the loud music inside really did not match the relaxed vibe of the restaurant. After hearing it while waiting for our food, I was honestly glad we decided to do carry out because it would have taken away from the dining experience. We ordered Shirley Temples, but although they were on our ticket, they somehow did not come out with the rest of the order. We had to ask for them and ended up waiting about another 10 minutes. Thankfully, they were worth the wait -- refreshing, flavorful, and probably one of the highlights of the meal. For food, we ordered the Humble Lasagna, the This Lil' Figgy pizza, and the Classy Girl pie with pepperoni. The lasagna was disappointing because the cheese completely overwhelmed the pasta, sauce, and overall flavor, making it hard to taste much else. The pizza and bruschetta were just okay. Nothing terrible, but nothing especially memorable either. Overall, we left feeling mixed. We like going to this quaint little French flare bistro. On our most recent trip, we were greeted by the sweetest hostess. Her name was Lily. She was very friendly and kind! We had the maximus pizza. I love the crust on this pizza. It's not too chewy and not too soft. It's just the right consistency. I like to dip it in the chili honey sauce. This pizza was topped with Imported Grande pepperoni, capicola & house talian sausage with their 3 cheese blend. We didn't have it on this visit, but we also really enjoyed the gentleman pizza. We also get the humble wings which are accompanied by three different sauces. It's great cause you never have to choose just one. The three sauces are buffalo, spicy Korean and chili honey. I had seen this place pop up a few times on social media and it was on my list of places to try for a solid year. We finally got around to going and I can't believe I waited this long to try. Everything we got was amazing!! We ended up ordering server suggestions-- the Brussels spouts, fig flatbread and a pasta. We loved every single one of them!! The vibe was also really nice. We went for an early dinner around 4 and sat on the patio so it wasn't too busy when we got there but definitely filled up by the time we left. Our neighbors recommended Humble Bistro and we were very impressed. The music (think Bridgerton vibes) was perfect as well as the lighting and overall vibe. My husband I and really enjoy going to places that make you feel like it's a special night but without the special price tag. This Gilbert bistro is a little gem. With lots of wine bottles and crates as decor, it has a dark-ish, charming feel to it. There is a large patio with seating outside, an me inside had a combination of banquettes and tables. There is a bar along one wall. Our server was great--friendly and attentive. We ordered the Red Before Bed froze' and the carbonade, both wine based drinks. Both were very yummy! We shared a Humble Caesar salad and a Maximus pizza. I'm a millennial so I can handle loud music but the music here is just unnecessarily loud Sinatra and Bublé. I've seen others complain on Facebook and such too and it sucks as the staff is not allowed to turn it down (owner likes it this way, weird). I've had to move tables once because we were right under a speaker with friends on the patio and literally couldn't hear each other. The point was to catch up and share great food and half the equation was negatively impacted. Super frustrating because I love the ambience and vibe of this place place but if I wanted loud dining, I'd go to Hash. My review for this establishment is neutral. The food and drinks were tasty. The atmosphere was classy and moody. The music was extremely loud. It was a bit hard to have a conversation. The service was a bit odd which is why I didn't give more stars. When I asked our server if he preferred the white or the red sangria he didn't speak on either. He suggested the Rosé. I personally don't like rosé which is why it wasn't one of them options I asked him to speak on. I ended up getting the red and it was delicious! It was shortly after we got our food that someone just walked up to us and asked if we were done with our food. When we said no, a girl came up to us probably 5 mins later asking us if we wanted boxes for our food. We said no, we were taking our time and breathing as we were trying to enjoy our dinner. They were yummy but honestly, nothing crazy. I enjoyed the green sauce (jalapeno ranch?) the best. My boyfriend ordered the short rib pappardelle and it was AMAZING! The short rib was cooked wonderfully. If you are a superfan of mushrooms (not me), definitely order the cremini sacchetti. The pasta was delicious and creamy. The short rib Pappardelle was absolutely fantastic. Husband has chicken parm, said it was better than Olive Garden but not life changing like the short rib. The inside is dark but in a good way, the music was the perfect volume. The table service was good. The only reason it wasn't 5 stars, the booths are uncomfortable and too high/close to the table top. I saw a bunch of high top tables, but I'm generally not a fan of those either. Our waitress was friendly, competent, & patient with us (one lady has memory issues & repeatedly asks the same questions). Important to note that our waitress had NO problems giving us separate checks & did NOT charge us an automatic group gratuity. (I think this is a sign of a good restaurant with competent wait staff - cause I'll always tip great servers 20% or more). I and 2 others all had the Short rib grilled cheese with No jalapeños or spicy mayo. I got side salad with champagne vinaigrette & others got the fries (side was included). We all really enjoyed the sandwiches. Nice fried cheese on the outside, tasty bread, & generous amount of meat BUT, it needed a sauce. The ONLY non-spicy options is their Fancy sauce. (I think it's BBQ sauce & mayo?) It's tasty & a great addition to the sandwich. Two got the Cajun chicken club sandwich with fries & without spicy mayo. They both enjoyed it & said it was really flavorful. Another got the Pasta Rosa - she doesn't like cheese & she thought it too cheesy for her liking. She should have just for marina sauce instead. All but 1 of us had to take home half our sandwich. Then, we asked for a dessert menu - waitress gave us 1 well-used crumpled menu that looked like a used postcard - see my pic. (Should be replaced). She also told us that today they also had tiramisu & bread pudding that wasn't listed. Thought dessert prices were good. One ordered tiramisu, one ordered a scoop of vanilla ice cream, & i ordered the warm, gooey chocolate brownie that also came with ice cream. We all shared & tried all of the desserts. My brownie was the best - 3 of us devoured it quickly. The tiramisu was dry - layers weren't soaked enough - but mascarpone tasted great & piece size was generous - hopefully, just an off day. To the restaurants owners, managers, & chefs - you're really limiting your customer base by NOT providing more Non-spicy options especially at lunch. There's a-lot of people in the area that you are keeping out of your restaurant & you weren't very busy for lunch that day. Overall the food, ambiance, service, and atmosphere were lovely. While the staff were accommodating and polite, we got looks from a lot of the other patrons when we walked in with our 3 young kids. No shade to the restaurant, but I didn't see anyone else mention it, so calling it out for future potential patrons - this is very much more of a lovely date night place (or every night place if you don't have kids), than a family place. We were led outside to be seated, when the "manager" on the floor (3/1/2025) followed and indicated they would lose their license if they sat us outside.
