North Italia is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is always delicious and that's why I keep going back. Went in for my birthday this evening and as always got the Arancini and white truffle garlic bread for apps, again as always soo good. My the main I got the Agnolotti al Pomodoro which was a first for me and oh man it is definitely my new favorite. Noodles filled with warm ricotta in a tomato sauce drizzled with a pesto oil, it is PERFECTION!!! For dessert I was given a brownie Sunday which was also good. The reason for the 3 stars is service was unbearably slow. We waited 15 minutes just to put in drink orders after seated and the wait just kept getting longer between everytime our server came over. I would of probably got another drink if I didn't know it would Be 20-30 minutes before I saw it. Again food and atmosphere is always amazing very disappointed is the service this evening.

We've frequented North many times over the years at their other locations and have stopped in to the one in Gilbert a few times as well. The restaurant is casual enough for meeting with friends but also one of my favorites for date night with my husband. Reservations are offered through their website if you're going on a popular evening, but we tend to make one for other days as well, just in case, to be seated promptly upon arrival. Their menu consists pasta & pizza dishes, salads, etc. that are modern Italian. My favorites from the appetizers are the Zucca Chips (although these do tend to be pretty salty) & White Truffle Garlic Bread. I can't think of anything I haven't liked yet, but some notable mentions are their Funghi pizza, Prosciutto pizza, Seasonal Vegetable Salad, and the Strozzalreti pasta dish. All delicious. They do have a kids menu for the littles; I've been here with my 5 year old and he really likes their Spaghetti & Meatballs. If you're in the area, give them a try. There are other locations around the valley as well.

Lovely atmosphere throughout the restaurant and patio. Everyone in our party enjoyed their food and not a crumb was left behind. I actually ordered the farmers market board as my meal and all the veggies, pesto and bread were so delicious with beautiful presentation! We really appreciate vegan and vegetarian options. Service was a bit slow, but they were packed on a Saturday night. Our server was very friendly and attentive.

I have driven by this place many times and always said I wanted to stop there. My friends and I finally had lunch there and we were not disappointed. We sat at the bar but there was plenty of table seating too. Clean menus, nice bartender and other employees around helping. Nice chill atmosphere for couples and singles. Lots of choices for lunch but, we chose breakfast because it is served until 4 pm . Food was flavorful, hot, and satisfying, we all made e adjustments to our order from what was listed in the menu ( no issue there). A great experience and Im making this place one of my regular places to visit.

We regularly dine in and love this place. But today doing an online pick up order I was very disappointed. The pick up area is not labeled, so it is confusing to see where you go for help. I ended up checking in with someone who "checked me in" and still I waited 15-20 minutes for my online pick up order (that was promised five minutes before I arrived). And I actually only got helped by someone the second time after speaking up and asking again. It is a very inefficient online pick up situation. I also needed to move four times because I kept getting in people's way. There should be a better designated spot for this. Then to top it off, this is my child's $11 buttered noodles. There are maybe 15 of them. I do not see this as a proper serving. I love this place and want to continue supporting, but tonight frustrated me.

I enjoyed the food and service so much on my first visit that I came back a second time, this time with my husband for our monthly date night. You We had a 6:45 p.m. reservation made weeks in advance. Although we were seated around 7:00, we didn't receive our main courses until almost 8:00 p.m. The food was excellent, just like the first visit. I ordered the squid ink tonnelli and my husband had the bolognese--both were delicious. I understand it's a busy time of year, but waiting close to an hour for entrées was disappointing. Our server was apologetic and said she wasn't sure what was going on with the kitchen, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, it ended up being a no-dessert night--we were ready to leave by then. Due to the long wait, we'll likely stick with Buck & Rider where we usually dine.

An excellent spot for Italian food in Gilbert. Great location after a day out and about! The inside is nice. Plenty of seating throughout as well as seating at the bar. I really enjoyed the ambiance and loved the lighting to set the mood. There is a large outdoor patio, too. There are TVs that had the game on but didn't take away from the overall setting. The menu here is pretty straightforward for an Italian spot. A nice mix of traditional Italian dishes and their own spins on some. The pizzas are very good; highly recommend - the hot honey and smoked prosciutto pizza is phenomenal. Portions are nicely sized, too! We got treated to the truffle bread appetizer and it was delicious. Kids menu is decent and the portions are good sizes as well. Their drinks menu was nice and had some good looking cocktails! Great selection and full bar. Large selection of wine as well. North is a great for a special occasion, date night, or happy hour. Definitely will be back. Excellent service during our visit as well.

Very nice lunch with great friends! Patio seating was cool and spacious. We started with grilled bread and truffle cheese. Yummy and very fragrant. From the Prosciutto pizza to chicken sliders to pasta, it was very good. Desert was simple for me with the pistachio gelato. Delicious choices all around.

Served Cold, huge mushroom bases not separated from the mushrooms and no signature garlic sauce. Big fail in both orders!

11/15/25 SE valley errands, furniture, home improvement late lunch and haircut. stop. Parking 5/5 First shot front parking, timing is everything because it was a full lot. Ambiance 5/5 Coveted in previous visits. Service 5/5 Our hostess and server tonight took great care of us. This has been true every visit! Food 3/5 It was a sub-par night after such a great run of visits. North Italian has become one of our favorite places to visit for modern Italian. We both ordered the pan sautéed mushrooms which came out cold and no creamy garlic sauce. It normally comes out sizzling hot. The mushroom cluster bases were intact. Someone in the kitchen was rushed or untrained. Very disappointed and we both sent them back. My wife had a Cesar Salad and I stayed the course and chose the Crushed Ravioli. Mine came out almost room temperature, another big surprise. The flavor was great but not served properly. The manager (same gentleman for all visits) removed both orders of Pan seared mushrooms. Our server felt bad but we let her know it was the kitchen that fell short tonight not her service. $53.50 after removing both orders of mushrooms and $20 cash for great service. Putting North Italian on timeout. Balls and strikes my friends-SYOY!

We were a party of 6, walked in for dinner. We had to wait for about 30-40 mins or so! The parking was ample in this location and the vibe was great! Good stuff for a night out with friends! Once we got seated our server took really good care of us! I had the prosecco, my husband got a glass of red wine, and rest of our friends got the holiday special drinks! For appetizers we got the calamari, margarita pizza, the vegetable salad, and garlic bread. The Calamari was on the saltier side. The pizza was okay! We had better. It was not the best. Just average! However the Salad and the Garlic bread was winner. The whipped Ricotta that came with the bread was chef's kiss! For entree's most of us got the Chicken Pesto and Seafood Pasta! The Pasta on the Chicken Pesto was slightly over done not Andante! Finished the night with some Tiramisu. The Tiramisu was delicious! I wish the pizza and pasta were better. Otherwise we had a great time. I can't thank our server enough for being patient and kind to us! Definitely coming back to try some more new items from the menu!

I've been meaning to visit this place for a while now, and I finally got the chance to go for dinner on a Saturday night with my girls. We had a reservation, and when we walked in, the indoor seating was completely full, so we were seated on the patio. And honestly? What a beautiful setup. The patio is such a lovely space to hang out in, I can already tell it's going to be a total hit during the summer months. Our server was incredibly sweet and attentive. She gave us great wine and food suggestions, which we truly appreciated. I went with a white wine, and for food we ordered the funghi pizza, strozzapreti pasta, and a side of Brussels sprouts. The pizza was so good I could've easily finished the whole thing myself! The toasted mushrooms and smoked mozzarella added such lovely depth of flavor. The strozzapreti was equally delicious. You could really taste the pine nuts, and the roasted chicken brought a rich, comforting flavor to the dish. The only letdown was the Brussels sprouts they were overly fried and felt a bit too burnt for our liking. Overall, it's a really good spot, and I'd definitely come back to try more from their menu.

Been here twice now and happy for the most part First time I felt the pizza was a bit too salty and the cheese was off some how The salad we had was fantastic, can't remember which (whoops) My friend enjoyed everything tho We went around lunch time and were seated right away wasn't too busy, service was okay. Waitress didn't feel approachable Second time went at 6pm on a Sunday it was pretty busy but we were sat right away. Around 7pm people were waiting Even busy, our waitress was very pleasant and patient. I really really enjoyed the butter nut polenta and my margherita pizza was good. My bf got the Parmesan chicken and the taste was okay and chicken was too dry. I also felt the pasta was just okay (so did he) This can be a good spot to meet up for lunch or for a date or even eat by yourself. It has a bit of romantic vibes at night, candles lit. Parking can be a bit tight For the price and quality of food I gave 4 stars

Food is great however the prices are out of control for neighbor joint. $27 for a small pizza and $16 for "good bread" the drinks like tea or sodas were $4.45 the "gem" salad with chicken was tiny and at $23.00. So lunch for two was $95.00 without tip .. If I want to pay $115 dollars for lunch I will go to Scottsdale where the ambience and vibes are better. North - unless you are paying for health insurance for your entire staff this is a little outrageous.

I kicked off our 90-minute experience with the Blackberry Yuzu Margarita, and it was the perfect balance of crisp, sweet, and tart. In between cocktails, we shared a couple of snacks that were such a welcome addition -- something you sadly don't always find at local speakeasies! Of course, this place is known for its cocktails, so naturally they should be great--but trust me, I've been to several cocktail-only establishments that were lackluster. Absolutely NOT the case here. You could literally put all the pages of the menu on a wall, throw a dart, and whatever you hit would be delicious and interesting in its own right. The place is a little small, but honestly, that's what I love about it. It feels cozy in all the right ways. It's also very relaxing, floating along the sea with some delightful surprises here and there. We ordered several drinks, but one that's not on the menu (and they do make it) is the Pearl Diver, which is magnificent here. The mixologists and servers are all amazing and should be proud of themselves for bringing such an experience to Gilbert.

I would try it again lol I know that sounds crazy even after the strange tingling in my throat went away after everything I've said because I saw other people coming in and they had huge juicy type of Kava drinks and I was thinking well you know, maybe I'll come back and try the juicy, drink next time instead of focusing on this particular experience And the reason I say that is because the bartender was so great and informative and it is a fantastic vibe in there and it was busy enough for a weird Wednesday afternoon. So they have trivia karaoke all kinds of stuff throughout the week and I could see this being a really fun place. So if you like Kava, you should really come here. It is very fun. They had really great music going on and like I said the bartender was top-notch. Good job mad Hatter.!!! Try it!!

But a friend wanted to meet for food around the area and this spit popped up on Yelp. It didn't disappoint! I was skeptical at first as having a sign posted at the sidewalk and a bouncer outside the stairs going down, was a sheer sign that this isn't such a secret and speakeasy-like spot. But I was proven wrong very quickly. Dre who was the bouncer and I'd much rather call Drayden, is young but friendly. The hall leading down to the entrance was well decorated. It's hard to miss the door when you can hear people on the other side :). Hostess was nice. Alex immediately introduced himself from behind the bar as I sat down, and Meagan was the main bartender this night. They were both a wealth of knowledge when it came to cocktails. I really wasn't expecting too much but the two drinks I ordered were a solid 5/5. I had the silk bandit and the untold legacy. I like sweet drinks this way. It wasn't too sweet. All the flavors were well balanced and well thought out. They also had a girl singing tonight and she was amazing!!! Thanks for a nice relaxing night. Service was a 5/5 and I'd definitely come back if I'm in the area.

As the self appointed king of speakeasies, I'm back at it with another one. This time was checking…read moreout a speakeasy located in the heart of downtown Gilbert on a Friday evening at 9 p.m. I parked for free on the street before making my way to The White Rabbit. There are some things I really love about The White Rabbit and some that I didn't. Ambiance (3/5): When I think of a speakeasy, I think intimate. The White Rabbit is not that. It's pretty large for a speakeasy with a large bar and a good number of tables/booths. They weren't at capacity while I was there, but there were a good number of people there. Which made it pretty loud. To the point where you have to yell at your bartender when ordering your drink so they can hear you. Perhaps a much different experience on a week day. Getting in the speakeasy was both a hit and a miss. If you're subscribed to their email list, as I am, you get a different password every month. I was excited about this. Upon approaching The White Rabbit, I saw a sign naming the establishment and pointing me in the right direction. This takes away from the spirit of speakeasies which are supposed to be truly hidden without any signage identifying the restaurant. You'll see a velvet rope blocking a stairwell where you tell one of the bouncers the password. I had a reservation. If you don't know the password, as another party there didn't, they ask you to access a QR code to find out or ask others who are waiting. I appreciated the dedication to the cause. Once you get in, you walk down the stairwell, and then enter a cool hallway decked out with Prohibition-style decor. That leads you into the main room. The main room is also Prohibition-style though a bit unremarkable. The bathrooms are clean and also feature some cool paintings (and they also hide that they are actual bathrooms). With that being said, when I liked the hallway and the bathrooms better than the bar itself, that's a bit of an issue. Seats at the bar are bar stools without back support. Never fun for my old man back. I did, on the other hand, appreciate that they have free WiFi. Service (3.5/5): The service was generally pretty good, though a bit slow. They start you off with some water without asking you which is always a nice touch. It was just one of those situations where you have to put some effort into getting a bartender's attention on several occasions. Food (N/A): I had dinner prior so no food for me. I did check out the menu. They have a small selection of appetizers, flatbreads, and desserts. Drinks (3/5): When I'm at a speakeasy, I'm looking for creativity and an interesting blend of ingredients and flavors. While The White Rabbit has a good number of cocktails, many of them didn't attract me. Part of it is a matter of personal preference. There were only two drinks out of about 20 that I was interested in. Overall, I wanted a little more, but with that being said, the drinks were reasonably priced for a speakeasy. Not a bad speakeasy by any means, I have super high standards when it comes to these watering holes. Just not in my top five when it comes to speakeasies in Phoenix and surrounding areas.

Oh, and the oysters are c'est si bon Menu highlights: * B&R Reserve Steak Salad * Hawaiian Goldband Snapper * Cold green beans topped with bits of blue cheese * And the true star of the show... the oysters We tried three different varieties of raw oysters ranging from mild brine to medium brine, and every single one was fresh and delicious. We also started with the Crispy Calamari appetizer which somehow never made it into the photos... which should tell you just how good it was Everything was paired perfectly with a couple of Ace In The Hole drinks. Tasted like it was frozen before and cooked too quick. I have had a steak at Black Angus that was much better and a quarter of the price. Service was friendly and flowing. Nice to finally go to a restaurant where the server isn't rushing you like most Arizona restaurants do. Would be nice if the desserts were listed rather than severs spouting them off. I could sense that the servers were tired of repeating the "spiel". That falls on management. I empathize for the servers in being in the industry as a sever and owner for over20 plus years. Overall .... Excellent!!!

The ambiance is perfect. Outdoor patio was beautiful and cool for a hot day. The decor was gorgeous. The food-- We all loved every dish we ordered and for a 389.00 bill-- we ordered a lot. *Whipped goat cheese board--10/10 amazing! *Bacon wrapped dates--10/10 best I ever had. I always order them wherever we go. *The G&G double burger--my fiancé was in heaven and thoroughly enjoyed the fries too. * Pasta Pomodoro with waygu meatballs--9/10 my SIL loved it. *Harvest bowl with salmon--10/10 very refreshing and tasty. Salmon was cooked to perfection. We had 3 cocktails each and tried most of their cocktail menu--we loved all our cocktails...some more than others. As a cocktail connoisseur--would definitely come here for just cocktails. We tried the honey apricot cheesecake--strongly recommend WOW. And the orange olive oil cake--very good but not honey apricot cheesecake good. Overall this place exceeded our expectations for a random Thursday night dinner. My fiance was on the fence for trying a "healthier" type restaurant and was blown away. We will be coming back to try breakfast and pizza next time!

Place was already busy & buzzy with happy people. House bubbly water was bubbly! Service was unobtrusive & friendly. We sat at a corner booth near one of the entrances (fyi there are some on both sides of the building). Ordered a couple coffee drinks at a reasonable $7 each and they were perfectly prepared. Yes! For a starter we did truffle fries which were fresh crisp & not cooked in seed oil. That made me feel good about ordering something fried, lol. For our main we went with the Hawaiian pizza. Savory meats, fresh jalapeño with tidbits of pineapple on sourdough crust. My only wish was for a little more pineapple. Only downside was that the door we sat by kept getting left open by customers and it took a long while before a staff member closed it. All in all, it was a good time & good value. Will be back for more pizza & drinks!

It had been quite some time since I had last been, and my most recent visit didn't disappoint. Every time I've ever been here, it's always been busy during the dinner rush, but service has always remained quick and attentive. It certainly isn't what I would call a "fine dining" experience, but it's upscale enough and has good enough food to feel like a meaningful night out with family, friends, or your partner. For an appetizer, we enjoyed their bread and butter, which was fantastic. The bread also came with olive oil and seasonings to dip it in, which was also very tasty. For dinner, I enjoyed their grilled cod with French and sweet potato fries, as well as coleslaw. While the fish was slightly overcooked, the meal overall was still delicious, filling , and well worth the trip back to High Tide. Definitely swing in if you've never been!
