Ahmazing!! Awesome food, awesome service! Dominque was amazing!! She literally was one of the best funny, attentive and gracious servers I have ever had!! I have never had a bad thing here EVER. The laid back fun mood of the restaurant always brings me back!

Bobby Qs is a great place for higher quality BBQ experience. You can get standard BBQ items, Salads, Burgers, sandwiches and Steaks. There's something for everyone here and the food is great. Also the service from DJ was top notch. He was very attentive and helpful for our dinner experience. Just a tip, if you have a group of 4-6, order the Hog Heaven. More than enough food for the group and keeping it easy for everyone. Great place for BBQ!

Closer to a 4.5 because Crystal was awesome and there are many things to like about Bobby Q's. The place looks great and has a fun, energetic (but welcoming) vibe - like a bbq place should have. Sat at the bar to avoid any wait and it was a great choice because Crystal took excellent care of us. Ordered the "Whole Hog" and got to try different meats and sides. The mashed potatoes with peppered gravy were a hit, and the brisket was tender. Also enjoyed the pulled chicken and beef ribs. Overall good food - definitely get the mash! Also ordered drinks and those were terrific! Smoked old fashioned and Blood Orange Margarita - both excellent. The Blackberry Smash was delicious, too.

Great service, best barbecue, not a steak house. $52 boneless steak. I've had really good barbecue experiences here.

This was my second time visiting Bobby Q, first time for the Mesa location. The staff right away were so sweet and funny. You really have amazing staff, great group of people. My party got a ton of food to share and for three of us it left us with plenty to take home. Everything was delicious! I was really impressed with the smoke flavor and portion sizes. The complimentary cornbread and dessert donuts are a great addition to the meal as well. I also loved the interior design, soft calm lighting. I will be visiting here again with the family.

Came here for dinner and was glad we had reservations. There were quite a few people waiting for tables, and there is not a lot of space to wait. This place has a great atmosphere--very rustic, with lots of reclaimed wood and exposed brick. If you take a walk around the bar, you can see how big this place is. One big complaint we had was the drink menu. It's had nice colorful pictures of each cocktail, but absolutely no description of the cocktails. That would be great if we were only in an Instagram world, but we actually like to choose our cocktails by what's in them, and more importantly what's NOT in them. I love mezcal, and hubby hates it. Hubby loves whiskey, and I hate it. But there was no way to know the ingredients. We asked the server if there was a menu that listed what was in each drink. She said no and I asked how are we supposed to know what's in the drink? She said she knows them all and we would have to ask her. She really did know them all, but we only asked for a couple because we didn't want her standing there giving us the rundown of 20 cocktails. I'm not sure why they would do it this way, but it seems like a really bad thing. I really love the cornbread and butter that every table gets. So happy to see our server bring us the basket! Hubby got the brisket salad and I got to pecanha steak with chimichurri, mashed potatoes and pecan coleslaw. I loved every single thing about my meal. The chimichurri on the pecanha steak was delicious! On the other hand, hubby said that his brisket did not have much flavor and that it was just okay. Of course at the end of the meal we got a little bag of the signature cinnamon sugar donuts! That's always a treat! We had a nice time and I really liked my dinner, but they seriously need to think about a different cocktail menu.

We had so much fun here for my mom's birthday. They had to have little portable AC units nearby to keep the temperature comfortable, but it didn't bother us. And the bar has a pretty nasty smell, so as long as you're sitting away from it, you're good. Super fun decor and ample seating. Our server was great, and all of our food was delicious. The drink menu is super fun too with drinks coming in funny-shaped glasses and whatnot.

First time ever going here. I got the chicken fried chicken, which was phenomenal. I loved it. It was nice and buttery tasting. The gravy was perfect. The mashed potatoes were awesome. I also heard they have donuts here. I didn't get the trim. The machine was down, but I heard they're phenomenal. The service was good. The waitress made sure we had a food on time. I had her drinks we filled she was very knowledgeable about the menu. The ambience was good. We sat by the bar, which was decently quiet, not a whole lot of people in there at the time, but you could hear a little music in the background, which was perfect. we could still carry on a conversation at the house happen to Repeat or hear extra hard

I am not really a fan of BBQ places so when my husband said let's go, I was like, "meh". I was more than thrilled with the food and the service. Our server, Michael, was so great with being attentive and offering recommendations. The manager came to check on us during our meal which was so nice. The food was amazing and when we got our check they gave us fresh mini donuts in a bag to take with us. We will definitely be back again.

Got to say that a good restaurant always has staff that seek to please you and this place shows that effort at the entrance and the exit. The atmosphere is elegant and tasteful, great place to bring a date or the boss lady. I came for the BBQ but didn't know they served fried chicken so that's what I led with. I did try to add a beef bone but at 12:30 they were already out... I instead added some pulled pork and some brisket. The two sides were roasted jalapeños which were under cooked and needed salt and Mac n cheese which were the best I've had so far at a local BBQ joint. It was super creamy and super cheesy with some very flavorful browned cheddar cheese on top, magnificent... the fried chicken was a lite medium crust that had a lite to medium herbal flavor. The meat was well penetrated with the 24 hour marinade, super moist. I would rate the chicken as a 4 out of 5. It was pleasant but an herbal crust blocks that caramelized fried chicken flavor. The pulled pork did have a lite smokiness to it but felt a touch dry. It was sent out with a smear of sauce on top, sin number 1... The brisket was a 5 oz portion. It was nice and tender but had very little smoke flavor to it. I couldn't tell if there was a pink ring due that it also was sent out with sauce on it but I'm sure it did, sin number 2...!!! My friend had the brisket and ribs. His opinion about the brisket was the same and commented that the ribs had little flavor and was overcooked, the bone literally disintegrated in his hands. We both rated the BBQ altogether a 3 out of 5. I gave this review a 4 because the Mac n cheese and chicken raised the total score. No one should ever order brisket and receive it pre-sauced...ever!!! I'll still come back though...

    Is the cornbread unlimited?

Yes we've been served multiple baskets !☺️

    Is there outdoor dining?

    Yes

I was just wondering what items you would recommend for a Gluten Free meal? or even side orders.

All the meat and BBQ is gluten free! And mash potatoes, Broccoli, coleslaw! Very gluten friendly!

    P Is there patio seating?

They do, mostly shady too, yet not dog friendly.

Is the spicy sausage a real hot link?

No, not like farmer johns or earl campbell hot, they are spicy plus they are cut in Diagonal slices. Now they are very hot if you add the hot bbq sauce

Is this bbq place kid friendly? It would be nice to have a great meal with the wife , a couple cocktails and let the kids enjoy as well.

Excellent spot for the family... My nephews absolutely love their Mac and cheese.. Very kid friendly And free in house scratch made donuts at the end of your meal.

Is this the same people as the one in Phoenix or is it a franchise?

Pretty sure it's the same owner.

    Gluten free options?

It says gluten free on their page

The bartender was very, very informative and he let us know that they will give you your first dose of Kava for free to try it. I could not choke all of it down. So even though I did not enjoy the Kava, it is not my jam. So they have trivia karaoke all kinds of stuff throughout the week and I could see this being a really fun place. So if you like Kava, you should really come here. It is very fun. Chef Roberto was nominated as the 2024 up-and-coming chef. This restaurant is perfect for a romantic date night or a large gathering. One side of the restaurant features a large bar along with smaller tables. Then, on the other side of the restaurant there are larger tables. I love how the intimate dining is separate from larger gatherings. Definitely a lot of thought and planning went into the Layout of this restaurant. When we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by the hostess. Behind her was a small case featuring oysters. The young woman that seated us was kind and showed us to our seat. Our servers name was Nicki. She was also very friendly and had very good recommendations. To drink I started off with The Phoenix and my husband had a bottled beer. My drink was very delicious. Freshly squeezed citrus juices gave it a bit of a tart taste. It was definitely a deliciously crafted cocktail. For dinner I chose to have the restaurant week menu. Please see photo below. I selected the Birria dumplings. They consisted of Wagyu beef cheek, cabbage slaw, roasted corn, confit, mushrooms, bok choy, beef, broth, and chili sauce. We both thoroughly enjoyed them and would definitely get them again. For my main course, I selected the K4 flat iron steak, prepared, medium rare. It was accompanied by Chiltepin sauce - potatoes - flour tortilla - beans. There was definitely something about the potatoes and how they were dry roasted, then added to the beans. The way the potatoes absorbed the residual liquid from the beans created a delicious melody of flavors. Steak was delicious and perfectly. K4 is a. premium Meat shop in Prescott, Arizona. For Dessert, I ordered the Keylime pie. I have to admit I do not like Keylime pie but today I have seen the light! Or should I say spirit? Esprirtu's Keylime pie is the best I have ever had. My last trip here though I had to ask about why the menu had stopped changing as often since we were one of two parties there in the middle of happy hour and there was a large framed picture of a bartender with a bunch of signed notes on the bottom of it beside me at the bar. It turns out that one of the oldest curators and bartenders of the bar and restaurant had passed from a drunk driving incident and I had not known at all! To update about the food I tried but some of you may not get to try since they're changing it up :P *Tiger Shrimp - DIVINE - JUICY ZUCCHINI STUFFED WITH CURRY THAT MAKES YOUR ENTIRE MOUTH WATER JUST THINKING ABOUT IT ONCE ITS EVER TOUCHED YOUR TONGUE - the prawns are BIGGER THAN YOUR MIDDLE FINGER *Thai Salad - zesty spicy, VERY filling and made in lettuce cups, so very much not your typical salad but very tasty *steak skewers - much more like the juiciest steak I've literally ever had on a skewer - LITERALLY...but not because it's fat, just because they somehow made this steak completely juicified - don't ask me how - ask Cat *Mole Chicken Skewers - My favorite...you should just try it.

Sat at the bar where service was good, drinks were expertly prepared and really enjoyed the dessert! Food looked great as well, I really wish we had eaten here instead of wasting money at the other place.

My girlfriends and I love to share the apps .. plenty of yummy finger foods. The drink menu is loaded with some really great cocktails, the bartenders can whip you up almost anything. My friend had the Smokey old fashioned last night .. the added smoke definitely elevates that drink. I had a paper plane and it was refreshing, it was the perfect drink on a hot summer day. The ambiance is dark and moody.. very prohibition era vibes. Black & white Mug shots line the walls, beautiful blingy chandeliers and leather booths make for a cool intimate setting to chill with friends or a cozy date night nightcap.

I didn't get to spend too much time here so I do want to come back!! My friend and I both ordered an espresso martini but we didn't love it... we drank maybe less than half. I do think that was more of an US problem... out of all espresso martinis i've had, I probably only enjoyed 1 of them. As much as I want to love an espresso martini, I don't think it wants to love me back :( We also tried their nutella cheesecake which was delicious but not very nutella-ey as we expected. Overall we had a good experience here and definetly want to give it another try with different drinks!
