A restaurant week choice on the last day. It was my celebration dinner for me on a successful event I had hosted. I set reservations for 4pm when they first opened. As a rule of thumb I don't usually go to restaurants when they first open or right before they close, but I took a chance here. I was not disappointed. My sister and I were the first customers dining, so there was no noise from talking only the music playing. The playlist had me grooving in my seat and singing throughout dinner lol. Our waitress was great in checking on us, answering questions and following through on specific order requests. I ordered the BLT Salad, Ora King Salmon at a medium temperature, and the chocolate cake. Everything was so great The wedge salad was refreshing, the salmon was cooked and seasoned just right and the dessert was a molten chocolate cake with a nice sized scoop of ice cream on top. I left here with the biggest smile on my face. Looking forward to returning for happy hour during the week.

Bread Pudding dessert to celebrate graduation!

My husband, my son and I went to CHoP in Chandler on a Tuesday evening for dinner and as a goodbye to our son who is heading back to college for his final semester. CHoP wasn't too busy being a Tuesday. The ambiance is classy, white tablecloths, dimmed lighting and it was an excellent experience! My husband had a ribeye with Gouda Mac & cheese, my son had a pork chop with duck fat fries and I had filet mignon with asparagus and mushrooms...all of the food was excellent and perfectly prepared. We each tried each others sides and I wish I'd also ordered the fries. So good! Our server was 'on it' and very attentive! She asked if there was anything special we were celebrating and we told her our son would graduate in May! When we finished dinner, she brought him a delicious bread pudding dessert with a celebratory sparkler and a graduation diploma decoration! So sweet!!! I highly recommend CHoP in Chandler!

Came in to celebrate a belated Valentine's Day! My husband and i love chop for the service and food. Every item has an elite taste. Every staff member is incredibly friendly and helpful. They all stop to check in and assist. We both got steaks, drinks & the bread as an app. It's a must. If you're looking for a splurge date night/ this is a must!

I had the New York steak, it was very good melts in your mouth. My son had the Chicken pasta and he cleaned up the plate! If I could give this more than five stars I would .

The price point just doesn't match the quality. our waitress Carissa was the best and really made our experience. Our ribeye was so tender and flavorful. It was also perfectly cooked. Every thing else was lacking. Definitely skip the mac & cheese and it's 99% mac 1% cheese. The fondue was really yummy and probably the only thing worth ordering again, but it felt like they could serve more cheese. The restaurant is small and was quiet when we were there which also added the experience! I just would expect more flavor and better portions at this price point.

I soo wanted this place to be a 5 star - it's a very nice steak house, in south chandler and great service, but 4 stars is probably fair. My wife and I had made a reservation here to celebrate our anniversary on a Friday evening. It was fairly busy, but we could have had a table without a reservation. Service was amazing - i dont recall our servers name, but she was really good. My wife went with the summer 3 course "fixed price" menu. Starter was Heirloom tomatoes & gorgonzola salad, really good. Main was filet - cooked perfectly and great tasting. Dessert was bread pudding and it was also delicious. I opted for a "chef special" Argentine ribeye, really good, but not thr best. Our server also brought us a slice of cheesecake for our anniversary - again, she was the best part of the dinner. Food preparation, portion and flavors were really good but their prices are outrageously high - you can get steaks as good at other steakhouses in the east valley. Biggest disappointment was the dont serve prime rib! How can you be a top there steakhouse and not have prime rib on your menu? Finally, it is a really nice steakhouse in the south part of chandler with a very nice ambiance (kinda dark and romantic), I just wish their prices were more competitive - and they should really add prime rib back on their menu.

Do not eat from this restaurant. I repeat do not eat from this restaurant me and a Couple friends went out and I decided to get the chicken as you can tell from the photo. It was horrible. Also, the restaurant and other plates smelt horrible.

Pricey. Was the service great? Yes. The ambiance was of a dark cozy bar/lounge. Not great for two guys just catching up wanting a good steak dinner. The food was good. We started with the steak carpaccio which tasted a lot like roast beef. Not much seasoning. Rich beef taste. Thicker than most carpaccios I've ever had. For mains, I had the catch of the day. Snapper with Brussels. Good hearty portion with tasty veggie side. Finished off with a bread pudding ala mode. Great food. Better service

Went there back to back nights this week. Service was 5 stars on Monday. Little less than 5 on Tuesday, but the food, drinks and atmosphere made up for it. Great for date night or dinner with friends. The Maui Rib Eye was fantastic. Had it the first night. Second night went with the Sea Bass which was superb.

Ambiance (4/5): Nice-looking restaurant. And a spacious one at that. Once you walk in, there's a wine tasting area. Pass through that, and you'll see a bar area on the right and a sit-down area straight ahead. We ended up sitting at the bar. There were only two seats available, at the end of the bar, where the seating was much lower than the rest of the bar. A bit of an awkward set-up, but I'll take that any day of the week over waiting. Service (2.5/5): The restaurant was packed on a Friday evening. The wait time was an hour and a half which is pretty wild. Luckily, we found the last two seats at the bar. Service was about average. Not terribly friendly, not terribly efficient, but not bad either. They were out of the entree I wanted which was a bit of a bummer. Drinks (4/5): While they have a full bar, Cooper's, as the name indicates, is known for their wine. They even have a wine club. I ended up going with a wine flight where you get to try four different wines. There are some restrictions, but you can pick pretty much most of what you want from their large menu. It was nice to get a mix of wines I was interested in. I love the variety! Food (4.5/5): They start you off with some complimentary warm pretzel bread and butter which is always a nice touch. From there, even though they were out of my first choice, my second choice wasn't too shabby. I went with the chicken picatta which is one of my favorite Italian dishes. Good portion size with three breaded chicken fillets, plus the pasta. The lemon sauce was just right. A filling and delicious meal. My partner in crime had the Caprese flatbread, which I tried... also delicious. The first time I visited Cooper's was in Tampa many years ago. It's great to dine with them again (just try to avoid peak hours if you can)!

I ordered the half size Tri tip salad with the dressing on the side. The half size was large enough for me and I'm glad the dressing was on the slide as I only used half of the dressing. My sister-in-law ordered the Mac n cheese and said it was outstanding. My hubby ordered the pastrami sandwich which was fantastic! The pastrami is brined in house for 7 days. The Coleslaw was very good. It had just the right amount of dressing and was very fresh! I will definitely order this on our next trip. You order at the counter and they'll bring your food out to you. There is a bakery case with yummy-looking cookies and brownies, and a cooler with bottled sodas, although there is a drink fountain. The staff here some to please. I asked about the new chicken though sandwich, and they explained how it was marinated and smoked, and said if I didn't like it to come back up and they'll give me the brisket sandwich, c which was what I originally ordered. We ordered the pulled pork sandwich and the chicken thigh sandwich. Both came served with a delicious slaw and a pickle. They were both yummy, with a great smokey flavor. We also ordered a brownie, which was humongous!
