Well, my friend and I decided to go back It's been a while. I had the Carne Asada eggs Benedict I messed up. I had my eggs over easy when I should've had them poached but other than that everything was delicious got served by the boss so she was right there for everything we needed service was awesome. The ambience is this old-school restaurant pretty cool pretty nice check it out. I think you'll like it.

Look, if you want a perfect breakfast/brunch spot in AJ, this is it. I routinely stop here on roadtrips to the lakes or tortilla flats. The food is well priced, generous portions and always excellent! Its a bit if a diner drive-in and dive feel, so don't expect Scottsdale fine dining; that being said it is very pleasant, clean, the decor is amusing and eating here is just plain simple pleasure in life. The staff have always been prompt and very friendly and courteous. For what they are trying to be, a solid 5 stars!!

My son chose this option while we were in town for a car repair on Friday morning. First impression was that it seems super cute: outside dining with stylish curtains to block sun, and colorful interior. When I sat down I was blasted by the air and blinded by the sun. I moved to one side of the booth and it was better. Then, I attempted to order French toast and was told they ran out of brioche and the bread delivery was late. So I decided on biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs. I prefer my scrambled eggs in pieces instead of one piece (see photo). Gravy wasn't horrible but I didn't taste much of any seasoning. Biscuits were dry and not buttery. Bacon was good. My son barely ate his pancakes which is very unusual. We all thought it was strange to get Italian sausage instead of a traditional breakfast sausage link as a side. My mom ate her food but it didn't look great. Hashbrowns looked undercooked. Breakfast scramble was served with cherry tomatoes versus diced tomatoes. Another disappointment was having to ask for ketchup and syrup numerous times because they only bring small containers to the table instead of the full containers or carafes. Lastly, we spent over $60 on a meal we barely touched. Service was good. Waitress checked on us regularly and was very polite and nice. I think they're attempting to be high end in somewhat of a dumpy area and the recipes are not good enough to deserve the prices. Don't waste your time or money.

An absolute dime of a place in a location where there is not a ton of options. Seems like a bit of a hole in the rock, but seriously one of my favorite breakfast places I've been to. The servers were extremely friendly, nice little bar area to sit at as well. The food looked terrific and can confirm it tasted just how it looked. The Scrambles were their popular item and favorites. Portion size doesn't disappoint. Will definitely be back!

Absolutely amazing food! I am not an Avocado Toast person but the Signature Toast was out of this world! Tucked away location! So glad we found!!

I haven't had something I didn't like yet! Home cooked meals away from home! Something for everyone's tastebuds!! And the service is amazing! Feels like home every time I'm here!

The one dish that stood out weeks later is the bananas foster pancakes. It was so delicious. Everything else didn't stand out compared to that dish. The coffee was all right, since I didn't realize it came with a bunch of whipped cream. The eggs Benedict with bacon was solid. The service was good and friendly. The atmosphere is of a quaint mom/pop restaurant. I'd definitely go back for the pancakes though.

I never get tired of Toast Gio. Their breakfast has a broad lead over their their local breakfast spots specific to the food quality and flavor. While other breakfast spots may serve a larger portion, they are normally coated in too much sodium. TG gets it just right every time. I will note the service was slow on my most recent visit but still a 5 star for overall food quality. Don't be afraid to try their cocktails either - really a step above others.

With Kristy and we were hungry for breakfast before grocery shopping. This cute restaurant is not far at all from my house! We didn't have long to wait for a booth since it was just us two and we got great service. Our waitress was very nice and accomodating. Had our drinks filled and checked on us a lot. Both of us ordered the Chiliquiles. Turns out I know the girls who bus tables here since I used to work with their mom! Small world! This is a great place. The food is delicious and the service is very good! I'll definitely be back again for breakfast and also to try lunch!

As a longtime resident of Apache Junction, I remember this location being the old Pizza Hut before they opened the new space. Hope this little tavern prospers in this space, and was surprised to see about a dozen patrons on a Thursday at 11am! A sign they are successful, and love to see it! What We Ordered: - Two Sodas: Served in a plastic, disposable cup. Definitely would make easy to walk around with or even to take to go if they have lids. I imagine this is convenient when a band is playing. - Burger Basket: On Thursdays, you can get this for $12 + drink. Even a beer or wine counts as an included drink! Definitely shocked to see that as that's a pretty good deal, though I went with a soda as on a lunch break from work. The fries were lackluster, but the burger was decent. Personally, there's a place nearby specializing in burgers, so I would likely not return for a burger here outside of it being on special (Thursdays). Overall, this space has been turned into a cozy little tavern. It may not be my venue of choice as it's pretty dark inside even during the day. As well as it serving bar food when I'm more of a pub girl myself. I'd still recommend if you are looking for a local tavern/bar in the Apache Junction area.

A good place to meet friends for a bite to eat, whether it's for breakfast or lunch. Came here today with friends for lunch & to support our neighbor & friend Todd Pechtl, as he was singing & entertaining. We had very good service & our waitress was on top of her game, keeping our drinks filled & checking in on us. I had the Steamboat, which was mashed potatoes over a piece of Texas toast, roast beef, & delicious brown gravy. Very tasty, although a little salty for my liking. Very good overall.

It is definitely worth the trip finding it. I stumbled across it and wow it blew me away. It is an old fashion diner with the friendliest people and the food was delicious. I googled restaurants in my area and this gem popped up. When I drive over I wasn't expecting much. I knew it had to be good since the parking lot was packed. And believe me you don't drive by here a normal route. You have to know it's back here. I loved the vibe in the place. Nothing too loud playing. People chatting away. A very friendly vibe. The waiter was super attentive and friendly. My brother was visiting from out of state and I just moved back to the area. I ordered the make your own omelette and it came with your choice potatoes and toast. The 3 egg omelette had ham, cheese, onions and peppers. They didn't skimp on any of the ingredients. And very flavorful. So you know they added some extra spices. I had the cheese hash potatoes and an English muffin. And my brother preferred the eggs and bacon and had hash browns. He ordered sourdough bread. He commented to the waiter that he would have liked the bread toasted a bit more but it was ok. The waiter went to take it and my brother said no no you don't have to make me new. This is fine for today. But you got it. They brought him another order of toast just the way he liked it. We both had coffee and when you usually have to get someone's attention for a refill, not here they were coming around with the pot in hand refilling everyone's cup. It was awesome. I'm telling you, you have to find your way here. I will definitely be back to try one of the lunch items. The menu was full of choices. The only downside is they close at 2pm. Wish they were open for dinner as I'm sure they would be packed. So hopefully you stop by for a meal!!! Yum yum

As the years progressed, we tried other local places but it was good to make our way back here. For the most part, I felt like the layout is fairly similar but noticed a decent amount of patio seating which would be nice in winter/spring. It was a pretty busy Saturday with every table taken, but they were bussing one so we were sat pretty quickly. Though the place was filled, the staff worked both efficiently with refilling coffee, getting food out, and just being incredibly personable. Still in awe that we had our food in less than 10 minutes from ordering! Might be the most efficient breakfast spot in the city. And our coffee was consistently replenished with them even asking if we wanted a one to go. What We Ordered: - Coffee: pretty good and love they have French vanilla creamer at the table. - Chicken Fried Steak, Two Eggs, Potatoes & Toast (special priced at $10.99): I went with the special and tried the cheesy hashbrown casserole. It was pretty good, but was a bit rich with the chicken fried steak. The Chicken fried steak was perfectly crispy and delicious. A very solid breakfast platter for only $10.99! - #2 Breakfast Plate (Two pancakes, two eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns): My dad was very pleased and glad they accommodated the crispy bacon request as he prefers that way. I'd definitely both return and recommend this location.
