    Dirty Dining
    Victoria P.

This place has not only not improved but it is unclean and service is me. Wasnt going back after a mediocre burger and lackluster service. That was months ago. Flicked on the TV and..whadaya know? This locale made the Dirty Dining report for 4 gross violations. Steer clear til they have overhaul like sell it. The one located off McDowell hit Dirty dining last year at least once too. Shape up or quit. Stop making people ill and take food handling and cleanliness SERIOUSLY or close.

I love this place the menu is great and the food beautifully presented along with delicious. If we had one in Phoenix I would love it. When I am out in the area with my friend we always eat here.

9/23/25 First visit to this location. N/E corner of Baseline & Sossaman. Parking 4/5 Busy shared parking in strip mall. Atmosphere 4/5 My rating is based on Sports Bars and their other north Mesa location where we've been to twice. This location looks dated. If you're into sports bars it checks all the boxes. It appears there are allot of regulars here. We had a group sit next to us that were Loud and foul. No concerns about anyone but themselves. Service 3/5 Host seating wait time was ridiculous given the amount of empty tables. When we arrived a large women's group was leaving the east large group room and that side of the restaurant and they closed service to that side. Server service 10/5 Once seated we were met by Delilah. We were hungry and knew what we wanted based on prior visits at their other location. Delilah made quick work of getting our order in and returned with Iced Teas. Throughout our visit Delilah was attentive, was a good sport when we greeted her with her namesakes radio show "Delilah" . She was the bright light during our visit and saved the Resturant from a lower score. Pro-tip Their north Mesa location is less of a locals hangout has a better vibe and my guess based on first impressions a much newer restaurant. $45.55 plus tip. Eat well my Friends- SYOY!

Lunch outing today with my Golden Vista neighbors & our friends from List Dutchman Resort. Amanda was our waitress & she was fantastic, along with the staff who helped her expedite orders. We had a dining room all to ourselves to eat, mingle, & enjoy. This was my first time at this location so a real treat for me. I had the Kitchen Sink appetizer & it was delicious! It consists of pretzel chips, kettle chips, & tortilla chips with queso & also a dip consisting of black beans, sour cream, salsa, & guacamole. Very good & huge portion. I ate half & took the rest home! Everyone enjoyed their food & also the awesome hospitality of Amanda & staff! Thank you all so much!

Awesome per usual! Service was perfect, and the outside non smoking area was beautiful, clean and enjoyable! The food was delicious and all requests were met perfectly! We come weekly and ALWAYS a great dining experience!

We live in another part of the Valley, and came here because of the great reviews. We were not disappointed. The hostess was friendly and found us a quiet table. Our server was helpful and cheerful. After we ordered, a manager came by with a free appetizer because it was our first visit. He thanked us for coming and said they're all a team and if we needed help, we could ask anyone. Our food was great also...we tried the peanut butter burger and it was tasty.

We stopped in for a quick bite and I had the Bbq Bacon Burger with fries. The burger was cooked perfectly and the fries were ok. I think they were in need of some seasoning. The service was quick and efficient. The restaurant was buzzing as it was Monday night football but the servers had it handled. I have been here a few times and their food has always been solid. Try their pizza!

The Hub Bar and Grill is a must-visit spot to catch your favorite game. There are so many TVs that I lost count, and when I asked the server, she thought there were 75 TVs--wow! This was my first time visiting this location since it reopened after the fire, and the place looks fantastic. There are plenty of tables and an awesome private party banquet room. The banquet room even has a garage-style door that can be pulled down to divide the space into two separate rooms. The best part? You can reserve this space without a fee! All you need is a reservation and a minimum order needed from your guests for food/drinks. This would be a great spot to reserve for a work party or even a birthday dinner. Three out of the six of us ordered the Holy Bacon Batman Burger on a pretzel bun with garlic fries. It's an incredible burger--filling, packed with toppings, and full of flavor. The garlic aioli and generous amount of bacon really take it to the next level. Probably the best burger I've ever ordered at a restaurant! The garlic fries are amazing and delicious too and 50 cents to upgrade to. Plus, if you go on Wednesdays, all burgers are $2 off, and desserts are half-price. Another highlight of our visit was trivia night on Wednesday at 7 PM. Tables compete by answering trivia questions for a chance to win gift cards, which added a super fun and interactive element to our dining experience.

We've eaten at the Hub many times - but this was by far the worst experience we have had. It all started when we asked to be seated and wanted to sit outside (perk of December in Arizona) and I had this inkling we were going to be forgotten and sure enough, we were. It took 15 minutes for someone to notice us at 4:45 pm on a Friday night. Then the food was downhill - my salad was inedible. I was so bummed because it sounded so good! The chicken was tough as can be, the dressing wasn't very good, and the greens tasted off. Also my black iced tea tasted burnt. Total bummer! My boyfriend's chicken tenders were also tough and my daughter didn't like her greasy kids pizza. Total drag since we eat at the Hub somewhat often!

Such a great experience at The Hub Grilling Bar! From the moment we walked in, the service was immaculate. Rachel, our server, was honestly the best so kind, attentive, and accommodating. I switched my drink and she had no issues at all, which really showed how great and attentive the service was. Tim also came out and surprised us with bread pizza since it was our first time, which made us feel so welcomed and right at home. They even provided us with a gift card, which was beyond generous and truly appreciated. This was our first visit, but definitely not our last. The hospitality was warm, homie, and genuine. Thank you all for such an amazing experience!

The Hub Club served hot with lots of pot roast. It's essentially a pot roast sandwich.

Always a nice spot to get a bite to eat. Our server was friendly, attentive, and quick! The cheese curds are so delicious! I got the hub club and was disappointed. It was mostly pot roast and I wasn't a huge fan.

Drew is the best server we've ever had and Pete and Jason were also very good. Oh am I drew my cutie patootie he truly is the best. Thank you all of you.

From the moment we sat down, the vibe was right, relaxed ambience, comfortable setting, and the kind of place where you can actually unwind and enjoy your meal without being rushed. The environment just feels good. Our waitress was awesome, attentive, friendly, and kept everything flowing without hovering. That kind of service makes all the difference and she nailed it. Now the food. Let me start with the real star of the show, the Cheesy Mashed Potato Balls. Golden, perfectly crispy panko crust on the outside, and when you bite in? Creamy mashed potato loaded with gooey melted cheese that literally stretches. Paired with that smooth cheese dipping sauce, these are dangerously addictive. I'd order a double next time without hesitation. The wings were incredible, and yes, I taste tested both the Garlic Parmesan AND the BBQ. The Garlic Parm had that rich, savory coating with a beautiful caramelized char. The BBQ brought a sweet, smoky glaze that had me licking my fingers. Both were meaty, juicy, and fall-off-the-bone tender. Honestly couldn't pick a favorite, you need both. I also grabbed a burger on a pretzel bun with bacon and sweet potato fries, stacked high, messy in the best way, and the pretzel bun held up like a champ. The Hub has that classic neighborhood grill vibe with quality that punches above its weight. Delicious food, generous portions, great service, and a relaxing spot to kick back. Will absolutely be back. Pro tip: Don't sleep on those mashed potato balls. Order them first. And get both wing flavors, thank me later.

The interior could use a refresh (think dark wood, old booths, and sports memorabilia that's seen better days), but if you like a lively, unpretentious bar atmosphere, it delivers. We went for dinner on a weeknight. I ordered the fish & chips. It arrived looking sad: two small, thin pieces of cod that were overcooked to the point of dryness, perched on a modest pile of fries. The breading was decent, tartar sauce fine, but the fish itself was underwhelming and skimpy for the price. Highlight of my plate was actually the side of onion rings--thick-cut, crispy, well-seasoned, and legitimately tasty. My wife's fried chicken sandwich, though, was a winner. Huge, juicy breast with a crunchy coating, fresh toppings, and a buttery brioche bun that held up perfectly. The fries alongside were hot and crisp. She demolished it and declared it one of the better chicken sandwiches she's had lately. Service was friendly but slow. Prices are typical for a golf course spot--maybe $2-3 higher than you'd hope. Verdict: Dinner was hit-and-miss (great chicken sandwich, forgettable fish & chips). The loud, dated vibe isn't for everyone. I probably wouldn't rush back for dinner, but the breakfast menu has solid reviews, so I'll give that a shot next time I'm in the area. Onion rings alone are worth a side order.

In Arizona. In July. You'd think that's something the owner would address immediately. The place had an odd smell--definitely more bad than good. I sat at the bar, which was filthy. The menu was sticky and gross, and the men's room smelled like rotted urine. The bartender had to hunt down a bourbon menu. When they finally found it, I was actually impressed by the selection. If you're into sipping quality bourbon, there's a solid lineup here. That said, they didn't have the one I asked for, so I went with a draft beer instead--which tasted off, like the taps hadn't been cleaned. The wings were the highlight: good flavor, decent size. Heat-wise, though, they fell flat. The second-hottest wasn't hot at all, and even their "hottest" wings were more of a medium at best. On the upside, both bartenders were friendly and attentive. But overall? It's clear the owner isn't trying to impress anyone.

The restaurant is smaller inside than expected...they have a long bar with an estimated 12-16 seats and then mostly 6-person tables filling the rest of the floor. Even with the tighter seating quarters, the noise level was fine as we were easily able to hear each other talk. My youngest got the Asian BBQ chicken sandwich and it was so wet he struggled to eat it. My Caeser salad was average...could have used more parmesan and had black pepper available. They have a large beer selection with at least 60 beers on tap, and many more beers available in bottles. I tried a local hefeweizen from the tap and it hit the spot. They have plenty of TVs for watching sports...the NCAA games were on and it was enjoyable watching the actions while dining. Their prices were equitable to other similar establishments and we liked the location as it's pretty low-key. Overall, this is a good place for food, drinks and fun.
