This has been a West Chandler staple for years. it's open seating when I arrive which is usually weekdays . unless it's a weekend weekends get pretty busy. The service is friendly and consistent. Friendly and consistent. The coffee is fresh and the cranberry juice refreshing. The water is always ice cold and serve generously. The food is fresh and delicious everything on the menu is good all the condiments and everything is clean. The whole place is clean and it's in a beautiful location tucked in a corner where you can eat outside if you like I highly recommend eating outside. It's so nice. You can hear the waterfall and smell the flowers as they grow the beautiful pictures. Awesome on the wall is very peaceful very relaxing very local. Want to start by saying that they used to have a dog friendly patio and we noticed a sign on the door saying no dogs. Asked and learned due to an incident where a server was bit by a dog, their policy changed after that. Carlos was our server and he was friendly and helpful as we made a couple of modifications on what we ordered. They do charge extra for additional Hollandaise sauce and wife wanted a plain biscuit and they upped it for a buck...no worries! Times are different now! We sat outside on the patio which was nice. Love having the sound of water. Birds...many birds and we watched as they stole jelly packets off tables and used their beaks to break into them! Wife had the chicken fried steak with eggs medium and red potatoes. The gravy was really good and not salty as sometimes is the case with restaurant gravy. Crowned egg is tucked away in a corner but the space inside is large enough for a few 4+ groups and numerous smaller tables. I got the cinnamon roll French toast which was a great treat. The standard dish comes with red potatoes sandwiched between two tostada shells, but I substitute hash browns for the red potatoes. They also make the best Chilaquiles (breakfast nachos) I've ever had and they aren't even on their main menu. Decided to come here for a late brunch Sunday morning. No wait and got seated at a booth. Restaurant is small but spacious enough to not feel cramped at all. Food was good and everything was fine till the end. She asked if we were done and if we wanted a box. I pointed to my partners dish and said one box please. She offered a takeout of water or coffee too. She came back with the cup and then we paid the bill and left. When we got to the car we realized we weren't given the take out box. I walked back in and she said "I asked if you were done and you said yes, we would never box it for you." She offered to remake the side and they did however the reprimand left a sour taste. Google says they're pet friendly so we rode bikes with our dog to get breakfast. We were going to sit on their patio and eat with our dog. The hostess rudely let us know we couldn't. We were going to just order for take out and asked if we could sit outside of their fenced area since there's chairs and tables outside their property boundary and the hostess rudely said we aren't allowed to do that either. A different customer said she sees people bring dogs all the time with no issue so idk why we were turned away and what was with the attitude. read more

That's it. Insanity. True flavor, developed passionately by someone who's not only perfected their craft, but truly cares. Thinking about it just gave me goosebumps. My father and I were sitting across from each other looking at one another in absolute disbelief. "Try this Benedict, Dad!" He bites, chews, eyebrows raise quickly. "WOW. That's the best Benedict I've ever had." Me: "I KNOW, RIGHT?!" "Try this" he says to me. I taste the Huevos. "How can I be eating the best eggs Benedict I've ever had, and somehow feel like I should have ordered the Huevos?!" I eaten plenty of Huevos in Mexico and the States. Nothing even comes close. It's a culinary equivalent of landing a man on the moon. Phenomenal. Extraordinary. Incandescent. This is a family run establishment. The father is the cook, the mother and son serve. Everything is pure magic from lovely people who are passionate about profoundly delicious food, caring service, and a lovely breakfast experience. My only regret was getting laid off from my job, and having to move home to Cleveland, Ohio, and taking lousy pictures of the food. I adored the experience here and I miss The Crowned Egg. It's not just a clever name, the chef is the Crowned Prince of food. After finishing our meal, licking the plates, and feeling sad that our experience had ended, we went over and thanked the Chef. What we had wasn't just breakfast, but an experience. An experience we'll talk about for years to come. An experience that I fear may never be topped. I feel blessed to have eaten there. We were promptly greeted upon entering the restaurant. There was no wait at about 9.45 am on a Thursday. There began to be a wait just after 10 am for a short time. We asked to sit outside and were directed to choose any seat we liked. We had a choice between one clean table or two dirty tables that had not been cleared of the previous customer. We decided on one of the dirty tables as it would be in the sun. We waited a few minutes before the man who had greeted us intially came to clear it off. A woman came a few moments later to wipe it down and apologized for the wait. She brought us menus and took our drink order shortly thereafter (coffee and orange juice). The drinks came quickly. It took some time before they brought a highchair for our child (we asked for it when we came in intially). It seems they were much busier than normal and did not have enough staff to accommodate. The staff there were extremely friendly and thanked us for our patience. Service: 8/10 They have a well priced kids meal option with several different s. Comes with drink too. Crayons and activity sheet includes. Also, when we received our food, the waiter, Carlos, brought a placemat that stuck to the table for our infant to eat off of when we declined a plate for her. Extremely thoughtful. Family Friendliness 10/10 I asked the waiter for his recommendation for my breakfast. He recommended the Pork Chile Verde Skillet or the Birria Skillet and gave me a run down about how the meat is prepared, giving both high marks. I went with the pork, standard flour tortilla, and ordered my eggs over easy. I also ordered the French Toast Breakfast to share with my son, eggs scrambled with cheese, and sausage for the choice of meat. My husband ordered the Avocado Toast, eggs scrambled. Our food took about 15 minutes. French Toast was just warm, but the syrup, eggs, and sausage were all hot. The sausage and eggs were delightful and my son gobbled them up. Their sausage links are quite thick and larger than expected. French toast was ok, clearly not the restaurant's strong suit, but quite passable. The avocado toast was not traditional as the avocado was just sliced instead of spread. My husband enjoyed it even still and mentioned that the tomato slices were quite good. He would have liked different greens with it as it's served with iceberg on the side, a bit of dressing, and diced tomatoes. My skillet was just above luke warm when served initially, I asked the waiter if it could be heated up more. They remade it for me and also discounted the price of it by 50% on my check. The first one they brought out was still delicious and had great flavor, correct cook on the egg, and excellent portion size. When they remade it and it was piping hot, it was phenomenal. The carnitas was so so tender and the Chile Verde sauce was scrumptious. The whole dish was extremely cohesive and the presentation was fairly nice. The coffee was tasty and the orange juice was excellent. We entered this smaller restaurant and immediately noticed an odor in the air- I figured it was early morning and the plumbing water was causing the scent. We were told to sit ourselves. With the large party we had it was not a very long wait and they even brought us water till our table was ready. When my food came, the plate was perfect! I'm really thankful to the kitchen, Grilled Chicken with freshly cut cilantro on top, hash browns just the way I like them and the fruit that I was was also delicious. The food was good. The prices are spot on. I had the chicken fried steak and it was hot n crispy. The gravy was just the right thickness. My wife had the avocado toast dish. This dish was fine but there was mold on the sour dough bread. We brought it up to the young man who took our order and he did a bit of arguing about how it wasn't. We showed him and he said it was from the grill stain but it's toast I replied. He also pushed back a little when we requested it be redone. We said just the toast not the whole plate. I also let him know we didn't want to argue over it. They redid the plate but he also came out with the loaf of sourdough bread they used and still argued about the bread.
