Great restaurant nestled inside the Sheraton. We had dinner, though brunch is available on the weekend. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and made several recommendations which was helpful. Cocktails were perfect as was my beef Bourgogne, served with a special gravy, mashed potatoes and a giant popover. A fun dish! I could not finish this ample and perfectly cooked piece of beef. I came here for dinner one night with a couple of colleagues and for lunch solo another day. I was staying at the Sheraton Grand so it was easy to visit. Service was great during both visits with everyone being friendly and prompt. For lunch, I went with the Sonoran chicken enchiladas - very good, though I found the sauce to be just a touch salty for me. But the blend of all the flavors really worked. For dinner, we started with hummus and honey but squash fritters. I really enjoyed the fritters, though the hummus was good as well. I went with the bbq ribs, one person went with the boeuf bourguinon, and the other went with the chicken. Everyone enjoyed their meals - the waiter had mentioned the ribs fall of the bone and they did. The beef came with a comically large popover which looked tasty too. Drinks were tasty at dinner as well. Overall, it's worth a visit. Not sure if I would drive out here just to eat, but definitely a good restaurant option. read more

We were here for work this past Wednesday 5/14/25 for our annual conference. We all stopped in for a late dinner. Service was amazing here. The waitress was so patient since there were so many of us. Update: About 20 minutes after I posted this, the manager called to sincerely apologize and offered to bring dessert to our room. It was a kind and thoughtful gesture that we truly appreciated. While the experience shouldn't have unfolded the way it did, I do give credit for the follow-up and hope it leads to lasting improvements. Update 2; Food Update: The manager asked what we'd been hoping to order and generously offered to send up the Ibarra Chocolate Trifle and the Cinnamon Sugar Churros--his treat--and even included his favorite, the Traditional Banana Pudding as a bonus. The woman who delivered it was incredibly sweet, and everything looked and tasted delicious. The churros were good, the trifle was very good, and the banana pudding was absolutely delicious!! The follow-through on the gesture was genuinely appreciated. ------- Extremely Disappointing Experience We were staying at the hotel and had a late-night craving for dessert, so we tried calling Ko'sin to see if the kitchen was still open. I called five times over the course of half an hour--no one answered.. Frustrated but still hopeful, we walked down to the restaurant in person. We stood at the hostess stand for nearly 10 minutes. We finally had to flag someone down just to get seated. Once we were seated, we were brought water--and then completely ignored. We timed it: we sat there for another 10 minutes while at least three different servers and what appeared to be a manager walked past our table multiple times. Not one person acknowledged us, took a drink or dessert order, or even made eye contact. We finally gave up and left. At no point during this entire 45+ minute ordeal did anyone demonstrate the slightest interest in service or hospitality. For a restaurant that's supposed to be part of a resort experience, this was completely unacceptable. Poorly managed, inattentive, and indifferent staff--Ko'sin needs a serious reset. read more

While on vacation in Phoenix area we were looking for a place near the house we had rented. This location came up on Yelp and had done good reviews. (Thank you fellow yelpers!) It is within the Sheraton Hotel but don't let that deter you as the hotel has a beautiful setting. The restaurant is considered upscale casual. It was nice but not super fancy. Service was outstanding by Sean and his assistant Ron was very attentive. Food was good. Nice variety, unique options and great presentation. Table shared the hummus to start off, it was delicious! Individual meals included Bison Beef Stroganoff, Hot Honey Chicken, NY Strip, Salmon and ribs. Finished evening with churros. One other note, they provide complimentary valet parking. I visited Ko'sin for breakfast while staying at the Wild Horse Pass hotel. They had a full buffet, which looked great, but I opted for a simpler plated dish-the Wild Horse Pass breakfast. It consisted of eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage and toast-plenty to fill me up (and my wife ate the half that I boxed up to go). Service is subdued and professional. I appreciated that my waiter, Steve, took note of my name and used it to address me throughout the meal. That was a nice personalized touch. read more

Ko'Sin, which means kitchen in the Pima language, is located below the lobby at Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass. I made a dinner reservation here since we had just finished a sunset horseback riding nearby. The 2 of us shared: Roasted Jalapeno Hummus - comes with fresh veggies and toasted naan. Cheese Curd Fondue - comes with pretzel bread Side of green beans Chicken Pot Pie - huggeeeeee! We didn't have room for dessert, but our waiter was so sweet he packed 4 cookies for us to-go and said we gotta try them! They were indeed very good and our dinner was delicious as well. It just felt a bit too serious at the dinner table with everyone so quiet though. I think it may be because the lights are very bright? But it's great to take foodie pix for Yelp! read more

I was shocked by how good this place was. I always assume restaurants in resorts/hotels will be lackluster. Nope! Seriously the best corn chowder I've ever had. Dinner at Ko Sin was definitely uneventful. Deviled eggs ($9) were so-so as an appetizer but a bit runny. There is too much mayo or sour cream and lacking flavor. The cheesy birria and chips ($19)were not better. It was more like pot roast in velveeta sauce. None of that birria flavor that we all have come to know and definitely just velveeta. The salmon ($36) as a main course was ok. Definitely crispy and very hot. But I left the place with an empty feeling and not pleasant. Drive a couple miles to Ahwatukee and check out the much better restaurants. It's a standard but limited breakfast buffet for $32. Average menu price was $23. Buffett was limited to scrambled eggs from what seems like powdered eggs. Bacon, sausage, creamy potatoes, leftover meatloaf from last night mixed with tater tots and bread pudding. Most everything was barely warm. The big disappointment was the salmon ie lox. It has been sitting out room temp for bit. The last bite was slimy. So no more of that. For breakfast you should order from the menu. Or better yet, drive a couple miles to Ahwatukee. There are many more and better places to eat. read more

She gave me a 10% discount since I didn't eat much of it. Bill was $74 for this dinner. Kid enjoyed her chicken and loved the fries. The food was nothing special, I was a local who is dining with hotel guest s last week. The corn chowder that was poured tableside was lukewarm at best. My partners ceaser salad was very lightly dressed almost too lightly . Silverware was not exchanged during courses, so we ate our entrees with the same dirty silverware from our appetizer courses. We were never checked back on to see how our food was. The male server was inattentive and seemed overwhelmed Then there were dirty tables all around us. in the back room where we were sat. Gorgeous restaurant with beautiful inside and outside seating. Went here 3 nights in a row and each night we ordered diff menu items. The chicken pot pie is absolutely wonderful and huge enough to share amongst 2 of us. Also the bison chili with homemade jalapeño cornbread was truly the best chili we had ever had. The rolls that come in the beginning of dinner are like cheddar biscuits they are so fresh and yummy. "House" restaurant for the Sheraton Grand Wild Horse Pass. Had both lunch and dinner. Lunch crispy chicken sandwich was delicious, if a bit messy to eat (because it is so large). The Sonoran Casserole was a very nice rendition of green sauce enchiladas. Not a huge menu, but sufficient to allow folks to have a nice selection. Dinner also not a huge menu, but a decent variety. The fig bruschetta (4 large pieces) was delicious, and very filling. Easily for 3 or 4, a lot for 2 and enormous for 1. The beef Bourguignon was an ample slab of flaky beef and mashed - my wife was very pleased although the popover was just OK. I had the NY strip, which was perfectly cooked medium rare and i was allowed to swap out the fingerling potatoes for carrots. read more

I specifically wanted to share my experience at this restaurant while I stayed at the Sheraton. The food and service here was overall top notch. Our server Sean was knowledgeable about the menu and was incredibly pleasant throughout our dinner. We ordered the shrimp appetizer (amazing), the beef stroganoff dish with pappardelle pasta (UNREAL in the best way) and the Bison meatloaf (meh, was dry and crumbly, but the presentation was nice). The hit of the show was the Banana pudding and the ever so perfectly tiny but extremely satisfying after dinner cookies. Sean said they are made with corn, and don't look like much, but oh my word, so good! Overall, very happy with our experience. Thank you to Sean and the chef team for a nice dinner. read more

Every staff member treated us like we were royalty. The food is delicious and prepared to order. We celebrated our anniversary with a weekend away and this lovely dinner. I got the salmon, he got the steak, we both substituted the risotto and broccolini. It was incredible. Down to the last bite. I've been dreaming about eating that meal again! Highly recommend for a nice quiet night out. Valet the car, eat a meal then walk around in the moonlight. The waiter brought us long skewers and packs of s'mores to roast on a fire on the patio after dinner. Such a fun touch. I love having fancy little excursions and this was one of the best. The only downside was the dessert. It was given to us complimentary to celebrate our anniversary but we it wasn't memorable. They could do better. read more

This is by far one of the best meals my boyfriend and I have ever had together! When we first walked into the restaurant for dinner on the first night of our stay they was Native American music playing which gave the place a calming and peaceful feel. We felt like we couldn't talk too loud but it was nice and romantic and intimate. Our server Mark was FANTASTIC!!! He was so professional yet he did personal touches and answered all of our questions and even made recommendations for us. The first cocktails that we got was the lychee jubilee which was crisp and refreshing that I had to have a second one! My boyfriend got the cafe oranje which is coffee and Kahlúa with a hint of orange and very strong! The next that he got was the New York sour which was a bit too sour... As for the food they first brought out cheddar and chive biscuits which were kinda of dense but the flavor was nice and the outside was crispy and the inside was soft. They we split the strawberry and date salad which was DELICIOUS! It had toasted quinoa and feta cheese and the balsamic date dressing was full of flavor. Then for our entrees I got the Buffalo meatloaf which came with roasted carrots, whipped mashed potatoes, and chipotle ketchup(which was spicy! Love it!). The meatloaf was cooked perfectly and it melted in my mouth. My boyfriend got the chicken and broccoli casserole which had everything cooked in a cheese fondue sauce! It was so creamy and the chicken was tender and the potatoes were cooked to perfection. Finally for dessert we shared the rocky road brownie which was gluten free! It had chocolate custard around it and a toasted marshmallow on top. The second dessert we had was the crème brûlée it was super smooth and light. Their dinner service was out of this world and it was all thanks to Mark! The next morning with went back for breakfast and I had the chorizo hash and there was so much chorizo which was epic! I also had my eggs scrambled and the potatoes were crispy on the outside but tender on the inside. My boyfriend got the estrella omelet which had chicken machaca in side and topped with salsa, sour cream, and avocado slices. I had to apologize to myself on my last day of stay there. But I digress. Early morning, we ventured downstairs to Ko'sin and upon entering the restaurant, you'll see desert patterns and local native art on the wall. Ko'sin means 'kitchen' in the Pima language (native American). Our host greeted us and explained that we can either order from the menu or serve ourselves at the buffet. Our waitress Megham was very personable, helpful and great at what she does. We chose the buffet. We took a little bit of this, a lot of that and some of those and went back for more. Fresh fruit, bread, native granola (oh so good!!), eggs, sausages, bread pudding, smoked salmon, assorted cured meats and fine cheeses, composed salad, bagels, assorted croissants, danishes and mini muffins. Rosemary potatoes, bacon, ham, sausage, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, tazo tea, juice, milk, soft drinks, bloody mary, mimosa, regular or decaf coffee and more. We stayed here on a staff retreat. The resort was beautiful and the service good but the food was really bad. The steak tough and overcooked (for the four of us that got it) the salad tasted like bagged salad and the other dishes were bad too. Our whole group ate off site the rest of our time there. I hope they improve the food because we won't be coming bad due to the really bad food. read more

First, it's a bit tricky to find this place using your maps app - at least it was for me, and I tried 2. Just look up the hotel. That being said, I was seated promptly and without issue even after arriving late. Luckily, it wasn't a busy night. Service here is impeccable. They address you by name, check in on you just enough, and are very helpful. I had the Lychee Jubilee, Chicken pot pie, and Fire Roasted Chicken Tortilla Soup. The tortilla soup was not quite what I expected, and I didn't love it. That being said, the cocktail and chicken pot pie were dreamy. The chicken pot pie was like a big hug - so comforting. Plus, the chicken pot pie is huge! You are given complimentary cheddar biscuits which are also amazing - so full of flavor and dense in the best way. Opens early. The breakfast buffet was great. A broad variety including gluten free tamale pie, touchless pancake maker, grilled grapefruit and a small charcuterie selection. The raspberry bread pudding was delicious even tho it was iver cooked. I also enjoyed the apricot cream cheese on a plain bagel. If you don't care for the scrambled eggs they will make another kind for you. I would've given them five stars however I deducted one because the berries didn't appear to be cleaned of debris and rinsed. The service was meh, she was responsive but not proactive. She seemed bothered when i mentioned my cold steak & didnt want to take it back. Complained the next day where they suggested coming back for lunch the following weekend & they would make it better. Today we arrived for lunch the food was amazing but service was horrible. Took forever for someone to take our order, drinks went unfilled, when we finished it took 40 minutes to get our check, and another 20 to complete our payments If you want to enjoy a special time or have timely service, I do not suggest this place. read more

The staff from the moment you valet to walking to restaurant to be greeted 5 star. The meal was prepared fresh. No pressure setting no rush to have 10 plates of food in front of you. Extremely disappointed with our experience. Noticed it wasn't busy so went down for lunch. The server was extremely nice and friendly, but we waited 45+ minutes for our food. Once the food came out we noticed that the burger wasn't the way we ordered it and there was a hair in the salad. We aren't the type to complain, but after speaking to the manager she corrected the order and made things right. On a brighter note the drinks were delicious. read more
