Traditional breakfast
Lindsey M.

I stopped by 4+ years ago during my first ever visit to Arizona. It was very memorable, cozy, and inviting. Now, having moved to Arizona it was time to go back. It was like nothing had changed. Same charm. Same vast menu of delicious wholesome meals. There's a breakfast and lunch menu. I tried out their traditional breakfast: eggs, choice of potatoes, choice of protein, choice of toast/biscuit. Do not sleep on the biscuits! Buttery, dense, flaky, and my favorite biscuits I've ever had outside of my MIL's house. The eggs are local from Arizona and rich. I'm sure everything on the menu is good. Especially their biscuits and gravy.

Traditional Breakfast - over easy eggs, bacon, hash browns, and a biscuit.

*I went here with my work group so we had a pre-meditated reservation for a large group! Biscuits was a sweet, little breakfast joint in Ahwatukee near where my team and I were heading for the day. We had a kind, older woman as our server who took care of our entire large group that morning. I thought she was wonderful and tended to our needs well. The menu had lots to choose from. The menu was mostly traditional breakfast items with some southwest-regional items. They also have health-focused options, as well. I got the traditional breakfast with over easy eggs, bacon, hash browns and a biscuit. Overall, my breakfast wasn't all that great, and my teammates seemed to echo similar reviews of their dishes. Specifically, I was told my teammates' pancakes could use some work. Although the biscuit was out of this world! It's the namesake of the restaurant for a reason!!! There is plenty of parking and it's near the freeway, so if you happen to be nearby, it's a nice little spot to stop in, especially for the warm hospitality! However, I wouldn't go out of my way to get a taste!

Side of biscuits and gravy, cinnamon roll

As I'm sure you're aware by now, biscuits and gravy is my go-to breakfast. This morning I stopped by Biscuits as I was out running errands, and after a (small) hiccup, I left with a full belly. When I walked in, there was a sign saying "Please Seat Yourself", so I did. Granted, I sat in the additional seating near the rear of the restaurant (we love the mafia booth), but after about 15 minutes of no one coming to my table, I went up to the counter by the kitchen where you pay. A very nice server (I don't think she gave me her name in the haste of it all) apologized profusely and walked with me back to my seat. When we got back to where I was sitting, I put in my order: a side of biscuits and gravy (one *giant* biscuit, smothered in sausage gravy), a cinnamon roll, and coffee. Their menu says they serve iced coffee, so I asked for that. When she brought it to me, she brought a mug of hot coffee and hot coffee refill. It wasn't a huge deal though - she very kindly gave me a big glass of ice and it worked out. I'm glad I stuck with the side of biscuits and gravy and didn't get the actual meal because the side was PLENTY. the biscuit was very good and huge! The gravy was pretty solid, but could have had more sausage. The cinnamon roll was also decent, but kind of dry. Maybe more icing would have helped there. When I was finished and paying the bill, my server was a gem - she didn't charge me for the coffee. I appreciated her thoughtfulness! This was a pretty solid experience! If I'm in the area again, I would give them another try.

Stopped over a friend's house this morning and we're trying to decide where we wanted to go for breakfast. He suggested biscuits on McClintock and Elliott and I suggested we go further since we're on our bikes and it would be a nice day for a ride so we ended up going to the biscuit in Ahwatukee. It was a nice ride over there. We both ordered the biscuit special two biscuits two eggs, meat and taters. It was delicious. The service was excellent and the inside is just a cool little kind of 50s but kind of Mom and pop type restaurant check it out I think you'll like it

Craving a biscuit in the morning? That was me recently. I had never been here, but decided to check this place out. The name is Biscuits and after looking at some of the Yelpers pictures, I had a strong craving for a biscuit. Well, I went in and was welcomed with a warm greeting from the manager who was seating those walking in. He directed me to the counter when I let him know I was doing a carry-out order. Erma and Amber were amazing in taking my order for a biscuit. Lovely smiles and wonderful service. I got my biscuit and ran to my car, took it out the bag, popped open the container and there it was. This beautiful golden brown, warm tender buscuit mmmm. I picked it up delicately. Then I took a gentle bite....OMG! This biscuit was amazing! Fresh, fluffy like a cloud and that buttermilk flavor left my taste buds satisfied. This was so good I went back a few days later with my sister to dine in. Another great experience. The staff wasn't as lively as my first visit, but they were still friendly. We ordered a stack of pancakes to share and I'm really glad we did. Three humongous pancakes came out and one each was more than enough for us. I also ordered a side of bacon and corned beef hash. Everything was delicious and cooked to order. I especially appreciated the 4 strips of bacon. Other places give 2 or 3 strips for the price of a whole pack of bacon lol. It was close to 9am when we arrived so there were a few other people dining in. The ambiance was quiet and there might have been music playing in the background. The interior gives a homey country feel and was spotless. I will be back for lunch soon.

The classic burger had a good patty, but lettuce, tomatoes and fries all could have used an upgrade. The lettuce was really nasty, wet and black. It was $15 for the lunch.

This server could not wait to rejoice about politics and her love for the latest tragic situation.

*Update* Seeing the review from "Nancy G" directed at me by name proves exactly what sort of establishment this is. I'm glad that Nancy mentioned a "safe place" as this is not one. If you want to sit and enjoy a meal and forget about the outside world this is not the place. Loli, I'm glad that your reply mentions welcoming everyone. Obviously, Nancy doesn't share the same sentiment. Nancy has left nothing but 1 star reviews for all her other reviews on yelp. I'm glad she took the time to give you a 5 star review just to call me lame. We won't be back. We came because our fav crackers & co down the road closed. Started off great. We were seated right away and our server was nice. Our experience was ruined by this server who couldn't wait to talk about politics & rejoice about the latest event that occurred (06/21/25). She stood there talking for a long time! No attempt to avoid the convo. I understand customers will talk about what they want but employees should take that outside. We don't want to hear it!! Experience completely ruined.

The smoked brisket Benedict is the standout. The brisket is tender with a deep, smoky flavor. The eggs are perfectly poached, and when everything comes together on the English muffin base, it hits that rich, savory-sweet balance without feeling too heavy. The French toast is Thick-cut and caramelized on the edges, without being overly sugary. It's well-complemented by fresh fruit and just enough syrup so it doesn't turn into dessert overload too early in the day. Overall, Brunch Snob feels like a spot that knows how to do comfort brunch.

Great Group Dining Experience, But Reservations Are Highly Recommended…read more I recently visited Brunch Snob with my fitness group after our weekend session. For anyone planning a visit, please be aware that the wait times can be significant if you do not have a prior reservation. Fortunately, our large party of over 10 guests was able to utilize an indoor corner space to wait comfortably until our table was ready. Once we were seated, the service was excellent. The staff was incredibly patient and attentive while managing a table of our size. The food and beverage options were generally well-received, though there were a few minor details to note. One guest mentioned that the options for mimosa flights were somewhat limited. On the food side, my order of the Mexican Cowboy Bowl was excellent and prepared exactly as expected. While most of our group's orders were correct, one eggs Benedict arrived overcooked despite a specific request during ordering to avoid this. Given the size of our party, the guest chose to accept the dish rather than send it back. Billing Tip: For transparency, an automatic 20% gratuity was included in the final bill for our large group. I recommend double-checking your receipt to keep this in mind before adding any additional tips. Overall, it is a great brunch destination with quality dishes, but making a reservation ahead of time is highly advisable.

My husband i stayed here for two nights as a staycation for his birthday and we needed it to reset and recharge. we've visited this property in the past and they are always so helpful and it's easy to get around, albeit the hilly parking might make those prone to anxiety a little wary. but overall, this was a great time away from our home. The reason i'm updating my review to three stars is because there is absolutely no enforcement of the 21+ rule at the adult pool. While taking a night swim on our last night, we witnessed two teenagers openly fighting and throwing f bombs at a guest who was trying to ask them to not leave their little sister alone in the pool while they cared more about their stupid tik tok dance. Parents and staff absolutely nowhere to be seen. This happened at 8:30 pm and the guest managed to hold his own against two spoiled brats. One thing I really appreciate is how convenient they make everything. From the water dispensers to the utensils, condiments, and even to-go boxes, everything is set out and easy to grab. I also love the counter-style ordering because the food always comes out quickly, while you can still sit down and enjoy the space without feeling rushed. The outdoor seating is probably my favorite part. The entire property has such a beautiful, relaxed atmosphere and feels like somewhere you actually want to spend time rather than just grab a meal and leave. There are also so many unique gifts to browse while you're there, which makes the whole experience even better. Between Luci's, the ice cream parlor, the tavern, the shops, and all of the outdoor space, there's so much in one place. It's also a great setup for events or getting a group together. Amazing food, beautiful atmosphere, great drinks, and so much to do. Definitely one of those places I'm always happy to come back to!

CHILAQUILES UNFORTUNATELY WERE A MISS!…read more I will preface this by saying everything else was very good, so I will come again and update my review at that time. I came here for a breakfast date with a friend. They have a decent size parking lot. Upon entering, there is a great outdoor space with tons of tables, many with shade. Your order at a counter inside. I got Chilaquiles and a matcha, and my friend got a burger. Unfortunately my chilaquiles were the worse I've ever had! It seemed like store bought chips with sauce thrown on top, not fried in sauce at all. And the menu describes it as having pulled pork but these were chunks of meat. The provolone on top was a slice melted, no shredded cheese. It just didn't hit. My Mexican friend said the sauce wasn't very good either, I thought it was okay. I didn't even eat half of my meal. I will say, his burger was very delicious. Super juicy, and fries were cooked well. I thoroughly enjoyed my matcha as well. The chilaquiles were just so bad that I can't give a higher rating at this time. Since the burger was so good, I'd love to see what the other dishes taste like.
