We've been seeing this restaurant on Guy Fieri's diner show twice now & we lived next to the one in PV forever without trying it... We stopped by and was NOT disappointed! We all got different burgers (image wouldn't upload for some reason) and shared them all. Service was friendly, and ambiance was normal to a burger place! The Paradise Valley burger is amazing, but the BRÛLÉE Burger was the best one!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
My boyfriend was craving a burger yesterday, and upon a quick Google search, we settled on Paradise Valley Burger. First, the good: we walked in a little after 7pm, and there were only a few people inside. We had our pick of seats, and that was nice. I went with the Brulee burger (no 1,000 island), and he got their paradise burger. The burger patties themselves were thin and seasoned well, and their French fries were awesome. Additionally, the Brulee burger came with an egg over medium, which happens to be my favorite way to cook an egg. Also, they serve coke products here, and I prefer that over Pepsi. The so-so: The service was.... Subpar, at best. The guy behind the counter was polite-ish but definitely seemed bored and like he'd rather be anywhere else. While the burger was good at first, it quickly became soggy and I couldn't handle the texture, so I couldn't finish my meal. The price was also a tad high for what we got, I feel, and for $40 I should have walked away more satisfied than I did. Will I be back? Meh. Maybe, if I'm not paying.
This burger was amazing! I've never had a such a combination but it worked the jam was slightly crisped and the bacon and egg was amazing! The cashier told me what was popular and I took his suggestion. He didn't go into great detail but it worked. Ambiance was cool just a bunch of folks sitting around enjoying good food. Would definitely go back!
The food was pretty good and had a big stack of ingredients. I enjoyed their unique options as it was a nice difference compared to a regular burger. The service was good, it's more of an "order at the counter and find yourself a seat" place. They played Spongebob on the TVs when I went haha
A friend of mine suggested we come here after trying the Downtown Scottsdale location. I'm so glad we checked it out! After walking in and checking out the menu, I couldn't stop wondering what the Brûlée Burger tasted like....I had to order it! I like crème brûlée and I like burgers....why not, right? The service and atmosphere were great. You order at the counter and they bring the food out to your table and there's plenty of seating inside. The burger was great! The top bun had the brûlée burnt on, add in the running egg, 1,000 island, bacon, etc....the sweet and savory flavors were amazing and balanced. I was afraid it would be way too sweet as I'm not typically a fan of the combination. On a scale of 1 - 10, I'll come back for sure...there are other options I can't wait to taste! :)
Great spot for a great burger! Went in on a Sunday for lunch and it didn't disappoint! I went with the beer battered burger (Booze Burger on the menu) and seasoned fries. While it was pretty pricey, you get what you pay for! HUGE portions. My meal came out quick and was hot and fresh. The guy at the counter was busting his tail getting the orders out, all while keeping a smile on his face. Plenty of TVs to go around and one of the best playlists playing over the speakers. Good vibes and good food. Y'all give it a shot!
New to Tempe & will be back often! Food was wicked good, all burgers amazing & the pulled pork sandwich was incredible. We loved the fries & tots too -- can't recommend it enough. Great service & good vibes
Found this place on Yelp and, I loved the service and attitude of the people here so I'm going to be really positive and start with what I loved. I also rounded the experience up from a 3.5 star to 4 star because of the awesome above average service. The tamale tots with that brilliant dipping sauce was just an astounding 10/10 experience. This was one of the most brilliant culinary things I've tasted in a while. I was very pleased by the experience as it very much tasted like a deep fried tamale but with a batter on the outside rather than a bunch of masa. The flavor profile was perfect . The cardinal fries were a solid 8/10 the pulled pork was soft and fatty and excellent in texture and flavor, the sauce it came with very much complimented it perfectly as well. The only thing that gave it slightly less points were the fries themselves added a bit too much salt and once you added sauce and meat and all this stuff the seasoning they used on the salt just didn't really taste like it belonged in my opinion. I ended up picking around some of the fries and eating the rest. We both felt like the burgers needed a little extra flavor in the sauces that were in them. They were pretty decent but it just didn't get past a 6/10 which is still not bad honestly. The service was extremely friendly and very accommodating, they gave us plenty of sauces to try and I think their demeanor around customer service was one of the best I've seen in a long time. 10/10 for that
It took me a long time to get to this place, but I was really wanting a burger. So glad I stopped in. The fries were hot and crispy and the burger was amazing. You can tell when a place puts effort into the ingredients and presentation. I got the basic burger with cheese and bacon.
The burgers and fries here are absolutely delicious. Been here twice now and I look forward to my next visit. The fries are indeed crispy and seasoned. The burgers taste homemade and full of flavors. I love that everything comes out hot. Ordering your food is easy. As you walk into the restaurant, the first thing you see is the ordering counter where you place your order and pay. The menu is short making decision making a breeze. Service is great and the people taking your order have been great with making modifications. They offer the best gluten free bun I've ever had (I've tried quite a few) and their register system is able to take away or add ingredients which is great. The ambiance is okay which is why I gave 4 stars. There is sufficient sunlight light that comes through into the inside. Also the murals on the walls distracts and provides you with something to look at as you wait and even eat. Tables and chairs seem clean and the colors are bright and fun. However, the space feels a little claustrophobic at times and it is unsightly to see their supplies out in plain view (bun packaging just outside the kitchen, toilet paper just outside the bathroom). Not the end of the world issues considering how good everything else is but some issues for management to consider.

I hadn't been in a while and was craving a burger with a bit of a twist... & yes, I got that here. The customer service was on point, as I wasn't totally sure what I really was wanting vs craving. We talked through flavor profiles and combinations as I shared what I was in the mood for. That personal convo and the ability to connect and customize is what make the experience. Ultimately, my burger delivered exactly what I was craving. Everything is made to order, including the fries I got with it. Food was fresh, but I felt the patty & overall sandwich were a tad bit smaller than what I recall. Solid flavor, great service and of course, I'll be back sooner than later. read more
This place is such a treat!! I got the Beach House burger and loved it and my husband got the Paradise burger with bacon and cheese and really liked his as well. Both burgers had a ton of flavor, great toppings, and crispy buns (which I thought would be too thin but actually worked out very well). We didn't see the specials on the wall until we were leaving, but the special burger also looked really good. We got the seasoned fries as a side and there were enough for both of us - they were very seasoned (in a good way) and went great with the jalapeño ranch. The vanilla milkshake was really good and had SO much whipped cream on it - you can tell they use real ice cream and good whipped cream from how delicious it all tastes. Service was good & food came fast, prices are a teeny bit high but very reasonable considering how good the burgers are. Will definitely be coming back. read more

In a world where customer service often feels like an afterthought, this place stands out in the best way possible. We tried the Boozer Burger, Paradise Burger, and Beach House Burger--and every single one was a 10/10. Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and served with genuine care and attention to detail. I'm always on the hunt for a good burger. And when I say good, I mean loaded with all the toppings, affordable, perfect texture, just enough sauce, but not too soggy. I was pleasantly surprised and pleased! I got the Burlee burger and sweet potato tots. The tots needed salt but was impressed with the burger. read more

Personally, a 3/5 for me, but my partner loves Paradise Valley Burger with 5/5 stars. I'll be giving this review with our combined average. Ordering style is fast casual where you order up front and find whichever seat you like to wait for your food. Service has always been friendly and quick :) My partner and I have tried most of the burgers on the main menu here, so I've started ordering the monthly specials if they appeal to me. For the regular menu, my partner really loves the Beach House burger. My personal favorite was an old monthly special in the Kentucky Fried burger. It sounds strange in concept but it worked super well all together. Even the cashier at the time commented that it was his favorite too. I wish it would be brought back :( It would definitely be my regular order if it was. I still think about it months later! A good number of the burgers on the regular menu come with sauce that tends to make the bun soggy and fall apart. I am personally not a huge fan of this. Some of the monthly specials have also puzzled me in that they come with patties only with no bun. They have to be eaten with a fork and knife. I also wish this was made clearer before I ordered them. There's definitely good flavor in all of the burgers, I'm just more picky in the eating experience. All sides are crispy and you can't go wrong with them, but I do find the fries in particular a bit too salty. Milkshakes here are made really thick! This is also not my personal preference, but great for anyone who loves a thick shake. I've always found it to be clean here even during busier times. Overall, while PVB isn't my personal favorite burger spot, I would still recommend people try it at least once because they definitely have some unique twists on their burgers that have great flavors. My partner and I still come here somewhat regularly when he is feeling a more fun burger. read more
I've been meaning to stop by Paradise Valley Burger for quite a while and I finally made it in. Ordered the Paradise Valley Burger with seasoned fries. From the graffiti, I guess Guy Fieri has eaten here, but honestly I'd really like to see some other interesting decorations to give the place its own identity. The gorilla on another wall was a different art style too so there wasn't consistency there either. The gold tile under the soda fountain caught my eye for some reason though. I really liked it and I couldn't tell you why. I received my food quickly and it looked great! I immediately noticed that the burger patties were significantly smaller than the bun. I'd say about 1/2 the area of the bun so that bun to meat ratio was disappointing. The burger was good but honestly I expected more flavor. I feel like the meat wasn't seasoned much, probably to let the toppings take the spotlight, but those weren't particularly flavorful either. Pickles, pickled onion and thousand island should have zapped my mouth with tanginess but there just wasn't any zapping going on. The fries were crispy and the seasoning is a bbq-like seasoning. Smoked paprika and maybe some brown sugar but not as sweet as bbq chips usually are. Overall I kinda went in with high expectations from the reviews. The food was pretty good, but didn't reach my expectations. I'll have to try one of the more exotic burgers next time read more

Wow!! I'm dining at Guy's Paradise Valley burgers. I'm so thrilled. I admire this guy. Get it?! No pun intended. Lol. He's like one of the most exceptional cooks. The ambience is totally fun!! The burger was excellent. It was seasoned perfectly. The salad was bountiful with cucumbers, pickled onions and tomatoes. It was just missing croutons. The staff was very pleasant. Definitely advise that you check this restaurant out. read more

I ordered the Paradise burger combo which came with fries and drink for $14. I really liked the burger, it was topped with cucumber, pickled onion, and thousand island dressing, which made for interesting flavors! I did miss pickles though, I like pickles on my burger. The seasoned fries were nice, crispy yet thick and covered in some spices. All in all, a nice place to grab a casual burger meal! read more

With the name of a brûlée burger I was prepared for a sweet burger but it was a bit too sweet and the $4 small side of mid fries that were also sweet made it less of a savory sweet meal and was just a sweet meal. The server was more focused on the tv than anything else and it felt like a almost grasp on a home run. I truly believe I either got a mid rare experience or a normal experience. Definitely will try again if I'm in the area and am hungry because I can tell they understand flavor profiles and what matches. Just didn't send it home for me this time. read more

I placed an online order and I'm disappointed with this place. The guy at the front was nice and retrieved my order quickly. Patties are tiny for the buns, it's a sad burger. I received random cucumbers and a ton of mustard on my burger. The lettuce was sad, not very much else to say. Fries, I'm not a fan of, I don't like how they're sweet and their coating. Not a place I'd get a burger from or fries. I didn't get my fried pickles. What I did get were fries and I think onion fries? Very weird experience read more

This place is the exact inspiration for the tik toks when they make fun of "hip" burger spots. You walk in and there's a bunch of dumb names for over priced burgers. The guy stares into your soul until you pick one and you feel immediate regret because you really wish you had more time to look at the menu. When the burger comes out 25 minutes later it's unseasoned, overcooked and you realize you just spent triple the price as in n out but for 1/5th of the happiness. This place sucks, it's slow and the product is terrible. Not to mention the dog bowl they give you for a water cup you might as well bring your own. I have no idea how this place is rated over 4 starts HUGELY overrated. read more
Ordered the special burger at the time, which was some sort of latke burger. It was a well crafted unique burger without being too far from a regular burger. The fries are thin and seasoned well. I think among the burger joints that'll run you for 12+ dollars, PV burger does enough to stand out. read more

Love this place. I always takeout. But the place is clean and staff is always super friendly. Their burgers!!!!! they are NEVER disappointing! And don't forget those seasoned fries (must order them seasoned). They are so damn good. I'm pretty sure there's some sugar in the seasoning but that's what makes them so good. I'm a regular here for a quick takeout lunch. And I'll be back over and over. Check this place out. You won't regret it. read more

This is how I know this place is delicious....I ordered a kids burger for a snack and it was awesome! I needed to eat but not a full meal so I had to watch the portion size. The kids burger was absolutely tasty! I can't wait to go back and try one of their featured burgers with more complex flavors. The burger patty itself has such a great taste. My burger was just bun, patty, cheese, and a ketchup smile. That's a purist cheeseburger and if they excel at that I'm sure it only goes up from there. I also had a delicious milkshake with Oreos. The fries were perfectly crispy outside and soft inside. I will definitely be back to try an adult sized burger! Service was friendly and speedy and they have some fun wall art going on. read more
I've been to the Phoenix location multiple times and was sad that it closed down, so I was excited to run across this location in Tempe. I grabbed the booze burger to go with tots. It was unique with the beer battered parties, and definitely not healthy, but so tasty. Even after I got home it was still delicious and hit the spot. First timer foodie at Paradise Valley Burger. Tried the Booze Burger with onion rings. It was absolutely delicious! Had never tried a deep fried burger, but I will definitely come back for it again. Everything was freshly made and the bun was soft and buttery. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Easily a 5/5! read more
Finally tried paradise valley burger after many friends recommended. They were Delicious burgers! Was so so yummy! Place is also clean and nice. My only suggestion is it was little awkwardly quiet the restaurant could use louder music to help with not hearing other tables conversations. read more
