Great restaurant nestled inside the Sheraton. We had dinner, though brunch is available on the weekend. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and made several recommendations which was helpful. Cocktails were perfect as was my beef Bourgogne, served with a special gravy, mashed potatoes and a giant popover. A fun dish! I could not finish this ample and perfectly cooked piece of beef. A wonderful meal.

We were here for work this past Wednesday 5/14/25 for our annual conference. We all stopped in for a late dinner. Service was amazing here. The waitress was so patient since there were so many of us. I got the chicken pot pie and it was so flavorful. Next time I am in AZ, I will be sure to stop in.

Update: About 20 minutes after I posted this, the manager called to sincerely apologize and offered to bring dessert to our room. It was a kind and thoughtful gesture that we truly appreciated. While the experience shouldn't have unfolded the way it did, I do give credit for the follow-up and hope it leads to lasting improvements. Update 2; Food Update: The manager asked what we'd been hoping to order and generously offered to send up the Ibarra Chocolate Trifle and the Cinnamon Sugar Churros--his treat--and even included his favorite, the Traditional Banana Pudding as a bonus. The woman who delivered it was incredibly sweet, and everything looked and tasted delicious. The churros were good, the trifle was very good, and the banana pudding was absolutely delicious!! The follow-through on the gesture was genuinely appreciated. ------- Extremely Disappointing Experience We were staying at the hotel and had a late-night craving for dessert, so we tried calling Ko'sin to see if the kitchen was still open. I called five times over the course of half an hour--no one answered.. Frustrated but still hopeful, we walked down to the restaurant in person. We stood at the hostess stand for nearly 10 minutes. We finally had to flag someone down just to get seated. Once we were seated, we were brought water--and then completely ignored. We timed it: we sat there for another 10 minutes while at least three different servers and what appeared to be a manager walked past our table multiple times. Not one person acknowledged us, took a drink or dessert order, or even made eye contact. We finally gave up and left. At no point during this entire 45+ minute ordeal did anyone demonstrate the slightest interest in service or hospitality. For a restaurant that's supposed to be part of a resort experience, this was completely unacceptable. Poorly managed, inattentive, and indifferent staff--Ko'sin needs a serious reset.

While on vacation in Phoenix area we were looking for a place near the house we had rented. This location came up on Yelp and had done good reviews. (Thank you fellow yelpers!) It is within the Sheraton Hotel but don't let that deter you as the hotel has a beautiful setting. The restaurant is considered upscale casual. It was nice but not super fancy. Service was outstanding by Sean and his assistant Ron was very attentive. Food was good. Nice variety, unique options and great presentation. Table shared the hummus to start off, it was delicious! Individual meals included Bison Beef Stroganoff, Hot Honey Chicken, NY Strip, Salmon and ribs. Finished evening with churros. One other note, they provide complimentary valet parking. I would consider coming again if I was in the area.

French Toast. This was amazing. Cookie butter was so tasty.

Great service. Very relaxing and yummy food. I got the French toast for breakfast and my little one had pancakes. We both loved the syrup. Very good. Next time we want to try the breakfast buffet.

I visited Ko'sin for breakfast while staying at the Wild Horse Pass hotel. They had a full buffet, which looked great, but I opted for a simpler plated dish-the Wild Horse Pass breakfast. It consisted of eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage and toast-plenty to fill me up (and my wife ate the half that I boxed up to go). Service is subdued and professional. I appreciated that my waiter, Steve, took note of my name and used it to address me throughout the meal. That was a nice personalized touch.

Inside. Seats about 50? Outdoor seats about 30?

Experience photo-documented. Overall, AMAZING -- food, service, and ambiance. The Sheraton is a top player when it comes to hospitality. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Ko'Sin, which means kitchen in the Pima language, is located below the lobby at Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass. I made a dinner reservation here since we had just finished a sunset horseback riding nearby. The 2 of us shared: Roasted Jalapeno Hummus - comes with fresh veggies and toasted naan. Cheese Curd Fondue - comes with pretzel bread Side of green beans Chicken Pot Pie - huggeeeeee! We didn't have room for dessert, but our waiter was so sweet he packed 4 cookies for us to-go and said we gotta try them! They were indeed very good and our dinner was delicious as well. It just felt a bit too serious at the dinner table with everyone so quiet though. I think it may be because the lights are very bright? But it's great to take foodie pix for Yelp!

Service was great from Dasia. Prickly Pear Margaritas- fantastic! I don't recommend the stroganoff because meat was tough, not tender for meat that was slow cooked 8 hours. She gave me a 10% discount since I didn't eat much of it. Bill was $74 for this dinner. Kid enjoyed her chicken and loved the fries. Hubs ate the Cobb salad and said it was fine, even though he doesn't like spinach or avocado. He couldn't taste the dressing at all.

Service was great. Menu was filled with known dishes prepared in very different ways.

    Outdoor seating so pretty 2/19/21

Gorgeous restaurant with beautiful inside and outside seating. Went here 3 nights in a row and each night we ordered diff menu items. The chicken pot pie is absolutely wonderful and huge enough to share amongst 2 of us. Also the bison chili with homemade jalapeño cornbread was truly the best chili we had ever had. The rolls that come in the beginning of dinner are like cheddar biscuits they are so fresh and yummy. We had 3 different servers here each night and every time they were absolutely splendid and accommodating. We love coming here over the years thank you!

    Scott V.

The food was outstanding. The rancher breakfast was filled with deliciousness with homemade corn tortillas, marinated chicken and the most delicious green chili salsa I've ever had. Our server Jacob was attentive and ensured we had everything we need. Overlooking the pool at Wild Horse Ranch - great spot for breakfast.

Nestled in historic downtown Chandler, in the narrow sliver of Boston Street, the speak-easy themed cocktail bar and restaurant is located inside the former home of the Chandler Arizonan, the city's original hometown newspaper since 1912. With exposed brick walls and rich wood finishes, the historic site provides an upscale, contemporary urban and industrial-chic setting. THE BRICKYARD DOWNTOWN is credited for the first place that I ever tried a CLOVER CLUB, a pink, frothy cocktail with fruity, citrusy, velvety qualities. I was instantly tickled pink, literally, by the nostalgic feel of the elegant concoction, topped with artfully designed egg white foam and served in a vintage-style champagne glass. What a beauty of a drink with a touch of class and sophistication! Almost made me want to throw on a flapper dress and dance the Charleston...until I realized the need to balance from the powerful punch in the serious drink. Fancy, stiff cocktails served at THE BRICKYARD DOWNTWON fo shizz. No complaints about that here! It's been a while since I visited Arizona. Maybe it's time to return. The restaurant and outdoor entertainment complex is huge and has a really fun, energetic vibe. According to the bartender, they have ping-pong, pickleball, and a big upstairs outdoor patio with amazing views of Tempe and the surrounding area. As for the food, we had the Fish & Chips with a Mahi Mahi Slaw & Fries, the Ahi Poke Tacos which come in Wonton shells. Hot Honey and Sausage Pizza was great. The Barbacoa Nachos had all the right ingredients & the Double Smash Burger had only some "fancy sauce" on the plate. The Tempura Green Bean, can't remember who ordered, but were good with the chipotle ranch sauce. With me, I'm all about the cocktails, so I treated myself to both the Froze Margarita & the Chi Chi. You kind of have to have higher standards. Let's start with the great. The service was perfect, I didn't have a single worry or want the entire time I was there. The staff were very friendly and made sure everything was taken care of. Saying they were attentive was an understatement. Now to the good. The food tasted good. There were certainly no issues with any of the courses, and I enjoyed them all. Same with the cocktails. I enjoyed the flavors of the ones we tried. Now to the not so good(the pretentious part). The decor and vibes of the restaurant were very distracting. You walk into the hotel lobby and are greeted with an amazing view, then you keep walking and get into Kai... and you're greeted with a bunch of knick-knacks all over the walls that try to distract you from what is obviously just a hotel conference room. To continue the theme of vibe, it was also just so quiet the whole time we were there with a very low volume white noise ambiance. If my date and I weren't whispering, the whole room would be able to hear our conversation. That might be the preference for some finer diners, but for us it was a bit awkward. Next, I want to call attention to the 22-25$ cocktails we got. They were good, but they weren't 25$ good. I frequent cocktail bars and even they aren't this overpriced. Finally, I want to talk about the food again. I want to emphasize that the food tasted good, and everything was cooked well. My issue is that none of the courses were amazing. Not a single one did I think, holy cow I need to tell someone about this. This isn't a critique I would usually make, but this was one of the highest priced fine dining restaurants I've been to, and I expected the quality to reflect that. I even got their signature dish, the bison, and it was cooked well, but the flavors were pretty standard. If you want to feel like a king being waited on and don't mind throwing down 500-600$ on pretty good food, this is your place. If you've been saving up all year to have the most incredible meal you've had in a while, I think there are some better choices out there in the area.

The excellent service begins before you set foot on the property--the person who takes your reservation asks a number of questions to make sure the restaurant is prepared for your arrival. When you arrive at the valet stand, the attendant knows you by name and greets you according to the information you gave the booker (for example, if it's an anniversary dinner, he'll make reference to that). The people at the host stand greet you by name before they take you to your table. The menu has a slot in the front where servers can remove and replace a piece of art; your server has chosen an image especially for you. The tasting menu consists of gourmet dishes inspired by Indigenous ingredients and flavors, all presented beautifully. Each course is explained in full by your server. In between the official courses are small bites such as a piece of bread with butter or a wellness juice shot. One of my favorite parts of the experience came near the end of the meal. A bowl of rocks and plants was set on the table, then a server poured hot water over it. Suddenly, my table was filled with the scent of rain in the desert. My car was ready at valet before I even walked outside, and sitting in my passenger seat was a thank-you gift and a bottle of water with a personalized thank-you card from my server. I cannot say enough good things about Kai--the food, the service, the views, the ambiance are all incredible. The only drawbacks I could see other people finding with the experience are the cost (the bill for one person with tip was over $300) and the "foodieness" of the menu--this is a meal for people with sophisticated palates.
