I had high hopes for Hash Kitchen, but this was easily one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, it felt like we were an inconvenience rather than welcomed guests. There was a group of servers standing around chatting, and no one acknowledged us for several minutes. After being seated, it took about 10 minutes before a server came over just to offer water and ask about drinks. We placed our drink order, and while the coffee came in a carafe, it wasn't even hot. The rest of the drinks trickled out later. Then it was another 20+ minutes before the server came back to take our food order. We ordered two simple build-your-own breakfasts and an Ultimate Grilled Cheese (no fries), plus two Cobb salads to go. Nothing complicated--yet the food took a long time to come out. During that entire wait, our server never checked on us once. No updates, no refills, nothing. When the food finally arrived, we ate, and again--no check-in, no "how is everything," no refill offers. Eventually, she dropped the check off without a word. We had to remind her about the two Cobb salads we ordered to go. She said they'd be right out, and a couple minutes later they showed up with a revised bill. Before leaving, we checked the salads--and that was the final straw. For $18, they were basically side salads. No cheese, no grilled chicken, no avocado, no croutons, no green onions, and not even any hard boiled eggs--just iceberg lettuce, a few tomatoes, bacon, and ranch dressing. Completely unacceptable for what's supposed to be a Cobb salad. We waited at the table for about 5 minutes for someone to come back--no one did. So we went up front and stood there another 5 minutes while multiple staff members ignored us, continuing their closing routines. Not a single person asked if we needed help, and our server was nowhere to be found. At that point, we left the salads behind, paid for the rest of the meal, and walked out. Terrible service from start to finish, and the food quality didn't make up for it. We won't be back. read more

It was a cold, windy day so luckily the inside bar seats were open. We both ordered mimosa flights and shared the Hashouka (from the limited time menu). Their take on the shakshouka dish included potatoes and it was delicious. I would order it again! Mimosa flights are always nice and they came in these pretty glasses. I can't remember each flavor but the only one I didn't like was blackberry. Guava would be a nice addition. I was buzzed after just 2 but that's because they also gave us a free shot. Once seated the server and service was great, the server would come in and check in at a good interval to make sure everything was going well. The food bacon and the biscuits with butter was really good. Also tried the carnitas hash , definitely recommend trying it. The pork was tender, poached egg was slightly cooked more than it should have been. My friends tried the pancakes. Portions were huge and it looked good as well. The menu changed since the last time I was here and my favorite item is gone :( There were so many great options on the menu though which made it hard to choose. For our brunch she got the matcha pancakes (2 people can DEFINITELY share this) and I got the chilaquiles. I will admit the only reason this place got 4 stars was because even though the chilaquiles was DELICIOUS I mean the flavor was AMAZING. The tortilla chips were so soggy . Super disappointing but the meal was honestly still so delicious, I was upset but still ate it because the flavors were so good. I'd definitely recommend you get them but maybe ask that the chips are crunchy. Overall this place is reasonably priced and I will DEFINITELY be coming back for brunch again. Now, yesterday I dined for the last time at any Hash Kitchen location in Chandler. Sure, the ambiance and the music was good. We waited over 50 minutes for food, mine was missing a hot honey drizzle, which I asked for the server for and she said it doesn't come with it but she'll grab me some. Which was nice but my dish did include that...anyways my food look like hollandaise sauce sat on it for like fifty days and fifty nights. It overall just wasn't a good dish but you also could tell it was half - butted as well. Anyways the server was relatively sweet but i'm a server and I would've at least acknowledge the food took awhile and communicated an excuse or something to my table but we had to ask where our food was. When we were seated, we weren't given a drink menu--I actually had to go back up to find one myself. Our waitress seemed overbooked and it took quite a while before she was able to get to our table. I ordered the BYO Bloody Mary, but had to wait again for someone to help me with it. The bar was also out of several basic items for the Bloody Mary toppings, which was frustrating. Then our food order came out completely wrong. On a positive note, the lemon ricotta pancakes were delicious, and the Bump N Rind drink was fantastic.
